Great location, as well we had open access to the living room and kitchenette.

Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a large private bath. There's plenty of street parking outside in a beautiful quiet neighbourhood. The house is warm and inviting. The hosts, Reiko and Sasha were very kind and thoughtful. They lent us extra bear spray for our cross-country biking in the wilderness and gave us lots of tips on where to go. They made us feel very welcome. The self-service continental breakfast was exceptional and on our last morning Reiko made us a delicious hot breakfast (we didn't even need lunch!). This place was the highlight of our stay!

The hosts and accommodations were absolutely wonderful! They were very welcoming and attentive, yet provided lots of privacy. The location is in a quiet neighborhood (away from downtown). The king room (with seating area) was very spacious, quiet and had lovely views, and all amenities were supplied for the bath. The king bed was very comfortable with a cozy duvet and lots of pillows! The breakfast was continental, which I prefer, with a variety/assortment items to choose from. (The last day they prepared a 'hot meal', which they catered specifically to each guest!)

Incredible stay with amazing hosts. Great people really add to the experience, and what a great first time in Whitehorse! Will graciously return and recommend to anyone! 20/10 stars.

Excellent quiet location. Exceptionally clean, comfortable bed , lovely self serve continental breakfast We had the largest suite which was great for our four night stay. Reiko is very accommodating for your needs and food preferences. She and Sascha are warm and welcoming hosts. She even offered to wake us up at night if the northern lights were on. Sadly, too cloudy , but we appreciated her enthusiasm and going the extra mile We would highly recommend Bluejay Suites

We have a car so location is not a problem, it’s about 10 mins drive from downtown Whitehorse. It’s a very quiet area too; breakfast were great and hosts are beyond excellent!

The place was beautiful and the room was perfect. The bed was so comfortable, and the weight of the blankets perfect. The host and her husband were so kind and accommodating.

Everything was absolutely perfect!!!!!! The b&b is located in a safe and beautiful location. The bedrooms are very nice : large and very clean. There is a super nice lounge and kitchen aswell !!!! Reiko makes a delicious and big breakfast on mornings and makes sure that there is always refill in the fridge. On top of this, Reiko and Sacha are really really amazingly nice hosts, interested to share their knowledge of Yukon and to get to know you. They are also very helpful !!!!!! We highly recommend this b&b, this is clearly the best place to stay in Whitehorse!!!!!!!

Beautiful setting. Close to city center. Lovely rooms! Service was exceptional! They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect!

The hosts were wonderful! Very warm and welcoming. The house was spotless and so comfortable. They went out of their way to make sure I had what I needed especially with specific dietary needs. I met other very nice guests and we all agreed we would definitely stay here again.

Nothing needs to change. This place exceeded my expectations. For my purposes, I would rent a car. The bus from town to right near the house was great but from the house to town takes much longer. The taxis are expensive.

Such a warm welcome! Reiko was a very thoughtful, kind and helpful host. If we didn’t live so far away, the sense of ‘home from home’ would bring us back regularly. We needed and genuinely appreciated the sense of wellbeing.

Wonderful bed and breakfast and the most welcoming host imaginable. Awesome and super delicious breakfast with a personal touch and accomodating our preferences. Charming common room. Just a few minutes drive from central Whitehorse in a quiet area. We seriously considered adding a second/extra stop in Whitehorse to our travels because of Reiko's hospitality and the comfort of everything. Did not work out, but if we come back to the Yukon Territory in the future - Bluejay will be our first choice.

Owned by a lovely German-Japanese couple, this house lies a little outside of the town centre in a quiet residential area. We stayed for four nights in a large room on the first floor with a private bath (including bath tub and a separate shower) as well as a nice sitting area and big windows from which you can see northern lights if you are really lucky (like we were). The owners live in the same house, but private rooms are on a different floor. Everything is very clean and spacious. You can have really good breakfast, e.g. including tasty bread (up to german standards), eggs, fresh fruits, and coffee. Always a great start into the day for us. The owners are helpful if you have any questions regarding sightseeing (e.g., northern lights) and generally try to make your stay as comfortable as possible. For us, this was not just a nice stay but downright a very positive experience.

Bluejay Suites were truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the friendly and welcoming owners made us feel right at home. The property offered convenient parking, which was a huge plus, especially for travellers with a car. Our room was spotlessly clean and thoughtfully designed, with a well-equipped bathroom stocked with quality toiletries—perfect for a comfortable and hassle-free stay. The buffet breakfast was generous and delicious, offering a great start to the day with plenty of variety. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We stayed in the King room and loved the quiet, spacious, emaculately clean and comfortable room. Our hosts Reiko and Sascha were very welcoming and helpful with what to see and do and the breakfasts were made of fresh and tasty ingredients. We would highly recommend and would love to return the next time we are in Whitehorse.

We had the loveliest stay at Bluejay Suites B&B. The room had everything we needed - a queen bed, a small desk, TV, and a great bathroom. The real highlight though is Reiko and Sasha. They were wonderful hosts. Provided all the information you'd need to really enjoy your stay in the Yukon. They even gave us treats (donuts, cookies) for our Northern Lights viewing. The breakfast was thoughtful and filling and can be adjusted based on your preferences. They are the best! Highly recommend staying here.

We were overwhelmed from the moment we arrived in our car to the moment we left with our Hostess Reiko waving goodbye. The house was immaculate, charming and beautifully decorated. It couldn't be cleaner! Our room was so comfortable and had every little thing we could possibly want. The bed was more comfortable than our bed at home, which we love! The towels were thick, fluffy and a total delight. We had a filling breakfast of eggs, cheese, ham, yogurt, fresh fruit, etc. The location was good as it was outside of the downtown core but only a brief drive away, close to the 18 hole golf course and the Alaska highway. Very peaceful with great parking. We felt so welcome and well taken care of by our hosts and will definitely return there on our next trip to Whitehorse.

Large room, very comfortable, great bed, excellent breakfast. The king size mattress was quite new and very comfortable. Great choice of pillows, all very clean and near new. The best I've ever had staying anywhere. Exceptional hosts. Very welcoming, warm and friendly. Great location, very quiet and open. Not far from town.

The breakfast was plentiful and varied. I chose the "anytime" option to have a hard-boiled egg, fresh mixed fruit bowl with yogurt, and plate of mixed cold meats and cheeses. Hot scrambled eggs were an option if you advised your desired breakfast time the prior evening. Fruit juice, coffee and tea were also available.

The in-room air conditioner was a little noisy, but it was very effective, so with less than an hour of operation in the evening, the room was pleasantly cool for sleeping and it wasn't necessary to run the A/C all night.

Die Lage ist ruhig und zum Zentrum sind es ca 10min Fahrt. Bus, Taxi kann man ohne Probleme nutzen. Die Natur ist atemberaubend. It was simply wonderful, and you couldn't ask for better hosts. Friendly and courteous. The food was delicious and fresh. The location makes it easy to get to a wide variety of excursion destinations. There are also shopping facilities, or you can have something delivered. The location is quiet and it's about a 10-minute drive to the center. Buses and taxis are easy to use. The natural surroundings are breathtaking.

The care and attention to detail were exceptional in every way. From the welcome reception to the room and it's apointments, to the exceptional breakfast. The location was lovely, in a quiet area of the city, and the charm of the property was warm and homy. We had the largest of the rooms with the large sitting area.

The hosts were great, our room and common spaces were comfortable and immaculate. Breakfasts were generous and thoughtful. Would highly recommend staying here, quiet yet close to restaurants and minutes to the center of Whitehorse.

Everything was great, the room, the location, the food, the hospitality, just everything was awesome. The hosts were exceptional. They gave us rides to town and the airport. She even made eggs Benedict, little cream puffs, and extras for us. If we visit that area again we will definitely stay there again.

I cannot think of a thing. Stores and attractions closed early because of the holidays but not the B&B's fault.

How do i begin, on top of this being an absolutely beautiful, well-cared for and well catered for B&B in an underestimatedly wonderful location, the hosts Reiko and Sascha are actually just amazing, good- hearted, genuine people that i feel lucky to have had the pleasure of meeting. Reiko especially [not to take anything away from Sascha - thanks for sharing your wine! 😋] made the whole environment seem like home. I felt cared for and cared about, which are 2 different things and quite meaningful to a solo traveller. I woke up with a headache on the first morning [from sleeping on buses and planes the prior few nights] and mentioned this at breakfast. Not only did Reiko source some Tylenol for me in the interim, but she also came back from town later on with 2 new packets of tylenol, brought me warm chicken soup, juice, noodles and when i went to the kitchen later found extra canned soups with my name on them. When i went on a late night aurora watching tour Reiko dug out extra gloves, snowboots and a jacket for me, seeing that i was completely unprepared for -32 degrees [and she was 100% right!] Everything here was perfect, super comfy bed, very well-appointed private ensuite bathroom, breakfast ready and waiting for me every morning, and delicious home made snacks always available. I added an extra 2 days to my stay last minute, and after everything i had wanted to pay more than the standard charge and they both refused to let me. i honestly can’t put in words what an amazing place this is to stay, for the amenities, the location, the service and importantly, the people

This is a beautiful and remarkable place that's combined with excellent service.

It's a small thing, but guests don't wear shoes in the house to protect the hard wood floors.

Breakfast was advertised as being continental, which we were fine with, however, the host insisted on cooking a regular breakfast for us. Plus, all the continental food was available as well. Totally exceeded our expectations in every way. We will stay here again without question.

Beautiful home, very good continental breakfast and our hostess made us scrambled eggs on our early morning departure. The hosts were wonderful- friendly and helpful.

The home is outside the city so without a car not ideal. The hosts however drove us to town, gave us bus tickets and instructions for the bus. They went above and beyond to be helpful.

By car you could be downtown in 8mins. There’s a bus stop conveniently located nearby. The owners of the B&B were very helpful and knowledgeable of the area. We stayed in one of the smaller rooms and it was quite well appointed met all our needs. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good and Reiko was very accommodating to everyone’s likes and dislikes. Very nice place to stay.

If you're traveling to Whitehorse, you should stay at the Bluejay Suites B&B. The host is so friendly and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we could possibly want. The food was great, the rooms were so clean and comfortable! We can't wait to come back!

Everything was amazing!

Very clean, easy to find property. Reiko made sure all her guests were well taken care of. She sent us to explore with umbrellas because there was a chance of rain, and packed us breakfast and a lunch on our last day as we headed out to Kluane very early to go hiking. So thoughtful!

We loved staying at Bluejay Suites! Reiko was an amazing host. She does everything to ensure that her guests have a wonderful stay in Whitehorse, from providing binoculars for the animal reserve to flip flops and towels for the nearby spa. She also took us to the most incredible spot for eagle watching. Guests have access to a spacious living room area and fully equipped kitchen. The house is spotless and the bed is very comfortable - after many days on the road up to Tuktoyatuk and back, we really appreciated our warm welcome into Reiko and Sascha's home. We will definitely stay with them again if we come back to Whitehorse!

There was a plumbing issue in our suite however the owners provided another bathroom and graciously treated us to dinner . They tried to repair it but the plumber was on a holiday and out of town.

I loved every moment I was there. Reiko and Sascha are wonderful people who were so kind and helpful. I highly recommend giving them a call before booking to chat about what's happening in Whitehorse during your stay.
