Fabulous building and great location. Wonderful decor throughout and room had excellent facilities - even a hairdryer with a diffuser! Small public car park opposite very handy.

Fantastic hotel. Beautiful big room, everything is spotlessly clean. Garden terrace was fantastic too. Was super easy to find, and the staff gave simple instructions leading up to, and on the day. Would happily recommend to anyone looking to stay in Worcester.

Beautifully fitted out and very comfortable

I stay here regularly for work and have returned time and time again, the whole experience is exceptional. Booking is incredibly easy and the entry code is sent on the morning of arrival, making check-in completely hassle-free. Jackie is always on hand if you need anything and responds really quickly by phone or text. The rooms are spotless, modern, bright and beautifully presented, with a handy kitchen area, fridge, milk and coffee machine. The beds are amazing and incredibly comfortable. The location is perfect for Worcester city centre, with parking conveniently available just across the road (although the parking itself can be a little expensive).

The location was perfect. The room was beautifully furnished to a high standard, very clean and I had the best nice sleep in the bed.

The building was pleasing from the outside, very easy to enter with the codes. The room was a good size, clean and had all we needed for our stay even fresh milk for a cuppa!!

We couldn't turn down the temperature in the room, couldn't work the thermostat.

Great location for Worcester foregate train station & the racecourse. Beautiful property. Spotlessly clean room, great TV, good shower & nice towels, comfy bed, good kitchen dining area with coffee machine, wine cooler, microwave etc. Nice outdoor terrace seating area for smoking. Easy access with keycodes for doors.

We have stayed at the property before, in the same apartment in fact. Knew what to expect and we were not disappointed. Will book again next time we stay in Worcester.

Everything was so clean and the decor was wonderful from the tiled entrance into the room and the garden area. This is probably one of the best places we’ve stayed, felt so luxurious the bed was so comfortable and very good facilities. Would definitely recommend this place.

The property was stylish, clean and had everything we needed. The room was perfectly equipped for both a leisure stay and a work stay, with the added bonus of both a kitchenette and a shared roof garden. The owner of this property has done a beautiful job in creating what we think is a MUST STAY property.

This has been a wonderful discovery! The room was very tastefully decorated and had everything necessary, including a small kitchenette equipped with all you need to eat a simple meal or prepare a simple breakfast. The bed was comfortable and what impressed me the most is that it was exceptionally clean (and I normally have high standards in that respect). I recommend it, and would definitely stay there again if I come back to Worcester in the future.

Central, clean and good value

Easy explained access to property with car park directly opposite. Easy walk to centre. Very clean, comfortable bed and access to fridge and other kitchen appliances. Couldn't open remote control blind on ceiling, think batteries were on their way out. Streaming on tv was great with netflix, prime etc. Bathroom very clean but the most uncomfortable and tallest toilet I've ever experienced 🤣 Great stay though and no need to enquire about anything once we arrived.

Breakfast was not provided. But there are plenty of shops where suitable provisions for a good breakfast may be obtained the night before, and cafés if you wish to have food prepared for you. We breakfasted in the open air on the Terrace opposite the door to our room.

In the current hot weather we would have liked a single sheet to cover us in bed, as even the lightest duvet was too much.

There are a lot of one way systems in Worcester. It would have been helpful to have the directions and postcode to the property the day before as it is different to the property address. We were travelling when we received the information and spent over half an hour trying to find the property, before stopping and then finding the information on Booking.com.

Spacious, good facilities. Bed very comfortable and 6 foot width meant plenty of room

Very well thought out renovations with beautiful style and design while remaining pleasingly simple. It was nice to have the use of the roof terrace.

We couldn’t work out how to get BBC live news on the telly.

The location was perfect, car park opposite and literally a minutes walk in to the town.

Very straight forward to access and the instructions to park were also clear and easy enough. The apartment I stayed in was very clean and thoughtful decorated and organised. Recommended.

Be aware yet if you are on the ground floor(and maybe others?) you cannot open windows. There is a small air vent that managed to lower my room in temp by 0.5C in 18 hrs despite the night being 12c!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hop Merchants House in Worcester. The property was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and furnished to such a high standard – it really felt thoughtfully designed and incredibly welcoming. The location was brilliant, perfectly placed for exploring Worcester and everything it has to offer. Communication from the property owner was excellent throughout, making the whole experience smooth and stress-free. The bed deserves a special mention too – genuinely the comfiest bed I think I’ve ever slept in! I felt so relaxed and at home during my stay, and I’ll definitely be returning. Highly recommended!

There was nothing I didn’t like! The only one suggestion I would make is the addition of a blackout layer to the curtains, but that has no baring on how superb the hotel is!

Check out time of 10am is too early

We were in Archer Room (the family room on the top floor) which was very comfortable. Everything needed for an overnight stay and fresh milk in the little wine fridge. Comfortable bed and good offering on the smart TV. Shower gel and dishwashing liquid provided. The key code access was easy and it was possible to leave bags once you check out in the hotel storage area.

Others have mentioned the green light in the ceiling that is small but always on and quite bright. If you have issues with these things disturbing your sleep, pack an eye mask as we did. Same for the lack of blackout curtains.

If I have to be really picked the shower gel the same colour as washing up liquid. But ir was great both were provided.

Beautiful room. Comfy bed. Loved the little kitchen space and fresh milk in the fridge, which made it feel much more luxury than a standard hotel room. Perfect location - close to all that the city has to offer and only around the corner from the train station. Jackie was great at communicating re: check in / out times etc.

The room door being right next to the stairs resulted in a bit of noise with other guests coming back in the early hours, which woke me up a few times...but this was only a personal issue as I am used to compete silence at night (I live in the countryside). Overall, considering the city centre location, it was very peaceful and the sound proofing on the windows kept any street noise at bay!! Would 100% stay again! :)

It was a hidden gem in the centre of Worcester. It had everything you need including a very useful kitchenette. The interior was very tasteful and the owner - very friendly and helpful.

Chose due to closeness to Royal Worcester Hospital to visit sick family member and Jackie was very helpful and made a difficult time a little easier.

Spotlessly clean, stylish & comfortable. Bed extremely comfortable. Room warm & cosy. Perfectly placed for a break in Worcester - close to station, shops & attractions. Loved the coded doors - no key to worry about. Lots of plates, cups etc & cutlery. Nice touches like milk in the fridge.

Location is wonderful for the city centre, literally 1 minute walk. Directly opposite a small car park which was £12 for 24 hours, which was great value The room was wonderful, clean, warm, modern and beautifully decorated. Jackie was informative, kind and helpful and on hand for any questions. We will likely book again for next year

Personal preference as I love a really dark bedroom to sleep, there was a tiny green light on the ceiling that I could notice occasionally in the night (it’s there for health/safety reasons I assume, so essential) but I’ll just pack an eye mask next time - it definitely wouldn’t put us off staying again!

The room was spacious and modern, with a nice kitchenette. The host left clear instructions for entry and even left a bottle of milk in the fridge for our coffee. There was also a cute outdoor patio. The rate was very competitive, even more so considering how nice it was. The location was also great, walking distance to all the central restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay again!

The room was spacious and extremely clean and well kept. The mattress and bed were very comfortable. The room was warm. Although we did not use the kitchen, it was equipped with all necessary items for a longer stay. There was no noise from other rooms or from the road. Overall, it was a lovely stay and the room exceeded our expectations.

Very close to the train station, centrally, located to shopping, dining, local attractions. The staff was excellent…from booking, to planning, and keeping me informed each step of the way. Communication was excellent, very accommodating, including a last-minute late check out… And small personal touches, including coffee, tea, and milk after a long day of travel. The room was well appointed, the bed was extremely comfortable, and we will definitely be back on our next trip into town.

This place was spotless, it was right in the heart of Worcester with everything on your doorstep. Parking opposite which was £12.50 for 24 hours, which is great value. The owner was available if you needed her, (we didn’t) and she even put milk in the fridge.

We absolutely loved the huge, super-comfy bed, and the well equipped kitchenette. The location was perfect - just on the edge of the busy city centre, so really quiet at night, but just a few mins' walk to restaurants, shops, bars etc. Jackie communicated really well and sent great instructions for finding the place and letting ourselves in.

We were disappointed that the car park across the road didn't offer free parking to blue badge holders, but it was very convenient (and obviously their charging policy is out of the control of the Hop Merchant's House!)
