Check-in was excellent and the staff even carried my suitcase to my room. The room overlooked the river and was quite large with lovely comfortable bedding. All staff were very attentive and the food was delicious.

The door that leads from the restaurant to the rooms didn’t seem to lock but I was assured that there was ccrv.

Beautiful situation right by the river just a short walk into town, the facilities were wonderful, we were upgraded to one of the apartments at no extra cost and we honestly couldn’t fault it and the breakfasts were delicious

Unfortunately at the time we stayed the lift was out of order , had to use stairs to 2nd floor.

The hotel and restaurant are really upmarket, and the location is wonderful - right on the riverside! The staff were extremely helpful and attentive, and the breakfast was delicious. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed.

There was nothing I didn't like - it was a lovely stay on a really nice hotel.

The staff make this hotel-they are so helpful, efficient and friendly. Service was very quick at meals. The room was spotless and bed so comfortable!! The hotel is right on the river-easy to walk into the centre of Worcester and despite the rain/storms it was a great stay-no hesitation to recommend this hotel.

We were on the 2nd floor but lift not in use. But the exercise was good for us!!

Location, modern and clean

Lack of car parking for hotel residents. However, the Copenhagen car park was a good location to the hotel. Slight downside was the reception nobody there despite ringing the bell the bar staff just ignored me until I asked if there was anyone available to check me in.

Fabulous room with balcony overlooking the river. Very efficient and friendly staff. Great restaurant ! Very close to Worcester cathedral - lovely short walk along the river. Superb location.

My room was well decorated, clean and tidy. Everything worked. The staff were friendly and professional. The food was excellent. The location is excellent, right on the river and a short walk to central Worcester and the cathedral.

There is no parking at the hotel and you have to park in a public car park that is a very short walk away on foot but much further by car. It would have suited me better if breakfast started at 7.30am rather than 8am, as it made everything rushed to get to my morning appointment in Malvern.

Right on the river with an excellent restaurant. Room is very nice, shower is super powerful. Breakfast and dinner were so good that we came back after we had checked out to have lunch. Bed is very comfortable. Amenities are good.

Shower is very small and room is not very sound proof. No private parking.

Our original room was on the third floor, and the lift had been broken for 2 days. Having climbed to the top in unbearable heat, the room was so hot we couldn’t stay in it. We were offered another room in another part of the hotel which to be fair was a lot better. This room was not as squeaky clean as it might have been with lots of dust around mirrors and base of the fan. The showers was extremely small but good .

Good location by the river. The room was well appointed, had everything we needed. Clean, tidy, a good size, etc. Bed was comfy. Breakfast choice was very good, and set us up well for the day!

The check-in on Saturday evening was disappointing. The check-in for the rooms is right by the entrance to the restaurant, and yes it was busy, and I'm sure that only certain staff manage checking in hotel guests, but we were ignored by the staff for several minutes before we were finally welcomed in. A quick "hello, I'll fetch a member of staff" would have been appreciated. After missing the car park and then walking to the hotel from the car park and already feeling a bit stressed it wasn't the best start!

Room was dusty on the mirror was boiling hot even though there was a fan. But the downside we were on the 3rd floor but lift wasn't working so had to climb 6 lots of stairs which we werent informed when we asked the lad he said hed been on holiday for a week and it was like that before he went. Breakfast was ok it was loveky presented but all needed cooking a littl3 longer as the sausage was undercooked

We were given a warm welcome, a complimentary glass of fizz and help with taking luggage to our rooms. The lift appeared to be out of order.

The rooms were extremely warm and did not really support a good nights sleep. The windows were very small in one of the rooms and the fan was too noisy to keep on throughout the night. On day two of our break, there was no hot water in either room and the bathroom was like a sauna! We were offered an apology and were given two complimentary bottles of fizz

Liked the location.

Very disappointed with the Breakfasts which were poorly cooked. The lift was out of action for the whole time we were there and we were on the 3rd floor. Even as a fit 83 year old this was hard work, would have moved on if it hadn't already been paid for. It felt like a restaurant with rooms, not a hotel with a restaurant.

Would have given a much better overall score if it were not for the intense heat in room 203 . If we are going to continue with these extremely hot summers then Browns definitely need to invest in air conditioning in the rooms . Even with two fans the room was excessively hot .

I’ve stayed a lot recently. Central location. Food normally pretty good too.

I was in room 103 this time. It’s right above the decking area so it’s noisey. No air con so on a hot night I needed the window open but the room soon fills with the smell of cigarette smoke.

We loved our room and the breakfast. Location was so good, had breakfast looking at the swans on the river.

Great central location and peaceful setting by the river. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely rooms - good size, very clean, individual styles, nice toiletries and dressing gowns. Great bar and restaurant. Delicious breakfast choices. Would definitely stay here again.

The room above did have squeaky floorboards so we could occasionally hear them. Lift wasn’t working but the staff helped us with all of our bags and suitcases.

nice room with good facilities, the staff were very friendly and helpful. the location was very good, on the riverside. the breakfast was excellent.

the room was extremely hot so sleep was almost impossible and made for an uncomfortable night, however this is not really the fault of the hotel, the weekend we stayed was very hot, the blind had been closed and the window opened to try and keep the room cooler and a fan was provided. Our room was on the third floor and was stifling.

The lift wasn’t working due to the heat and we were on the second floor. Hard work when I have an ankle injury, which I mentioned but the girl wasn’t interested. Wouldn’t have booked had we known about the lift.

Location was great. Very central. it was a lovely room very modern clean and you had everything you needed. Right beside the river. Food in the restaurant was great as was the breakfast. Brilliant Value for money. Plus we got to park right beside the hotel for 6 quid. The guy that checked us in was very helpful and friendly. Took us to are room and explained everything. The two girls the next morning were very helpful.

For us it was the fan in the room. With the recent high temps the fan really didn’t blow air out. Other than that perfect stay in a great hotel

The location was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful, and it was great value for money. The rooms were also beautifully decorated.

My only 'criticism' is that with no air conditioning in the bedrooms, during this heatwave, sleeping was very difficult. The free-standing fan just seemed to blow around warm air. I appreciate that you can't do anything about our unpredictable British weather, but maybe a bit of investment for the future might be the way forward.

Everything! The location is perfect right next to the river. We were given an apartment and it was amazing - spacious, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and had everything we could want. The staff were lovely especially the man who checked us in. The breakfast was gorgeous with a fantastic selection on the menu. One of the BEST places I have ever stayed in.

The breakfast was good with plenty of choice (although not everything is shown on the menu, so just ask). The décor is great. The staff were attentive and helpful. Lovely location with a short walk in to town.
