Nothing
Feels old, lifts carpet etc. No air conditioning, parking was not included! I have used this hotel many times for work (Worcester Bosch) and I’ve never had Parkinson an extra cost!
Nice clean room. Very comfy bed. Was great to have a bath which filled really quickly with piping hot water. Also lovely breakfast. Loads of choice and really tasty.
Having to pay for parking.
There was no provision for dinner apart from a miserable bar menu. Hotel was only concerned with coach trips
See above
Great location, friendly staff and good breakfast. Bed was comfortable and room and bathroom were spacious
Re,end that this is an old building. There was only 1 plus socket that could be used for charging phones etc and the USB ports in it didn’t work. The bathroom floor hadn’t been cleaned and the cleaner had left a cleaning cloth in the bathroom. Oh and the floorboards are very cranky
Nice friendly hotel right in the town, spacious rooms, parking, good value.
The soap dispenser in the bathroom was above my head and I had to stand on toip toe to hang the towels on the back of the door. In adequate places for wet towels.
Good location in town centre close to amenities. Car parking on site. Comfortable room and friendly staff.
not allocable
The exit, also Joe the barman was good.
All of it , very strange hotel, mainly catering for coach parties. The layout is all wrong.
Near railway station
No ting
Michelle at reception was amazing.
Swimming pool and location
Some maintenance needed
Close to Lime St station.
People loitering on the street were drinking and shouting (arguments).
Location and pleasant staff
The room we were in you could hear outside noise, we used a rain app at night so we had a good sleep
Close to all amenities and fabulous staff throughout our stay
Had room at the front this time and it was very noisy outside from the traffic to people shouting throughout the night. Unfortunate but still a lovely hotel ♥️
The location was great, the bedroom was nice and the shower was powerful. The staff were great,
The bar and reception area and the breakfast room were really dark and dated. You would expect for the amount the room costs per night for the hotel to update their furniture - even covering the sofas would have been better. They were old and stained and un-comfy, it wouldn't cost much to make it a lot nicer. No coffee machine - really for a hotel that charges £15 for breakfast. Plus breakfast wasn't the best choice.
Close to where I was going and had parking on site. Fan was provided. Interesting floors commensurate with the age of the hotel.
The shower was too high, I couldn't adjust it so I didn't get my hair wet, shower cap availability was not obvious. Although the windows were open the room was quite warm.No air conditioning probably due to the age of the hotel
Breakfast was really good
3rd floor but exceptable
Excellent location and fantastic Staff
Breakfast was really good 👍
Carpwrs are Looking a little tired
Good location, staff welcoming, friendly and professional. The bed was very comfortable.
I had extremely poor sleep at this hotel. Our main road facing room was very very noisy. The window didn't block out any traffic or pedestrian voices in the slightest. Very poor sound insulation. We could hear constantly loud creaking floorboards from both sides and the room above. In fact it sounded like the people in the room above were so close that they would drop through the ceiling on top of us at any moment ! Annoying we could also hear one side's TV as well. All the furniture was very dark, too big for the room and dated. The grab rail in the bathroom wasn't securely attached to the wall. The bathroom grout was grotty and needed to be redone. The bathroom curtain was 4 inches too short for the window. Only one wardrobe door could be opened as the other hit the bedside cupboard. Only one side of the bed had a socket so only one person could recharge their phone. To sum up the whole place very tired and dated. No idea how it's rated a 4 star. Should be 3 at most.
Location - very central
Mirror had lost its reflectivity in areas. Bed was not that comfortable.
Location and the historical feeling of the building.
Everything
The hotel was plesant and acomodating .
Couldnt ajust shower temp
good breakfast, but all self service
hotel was oldy worldy reflecting the age of the town and very pleasant inside (rather than stark and modern) - reception was friendly - lifts have security featured into them to stop unwanted visitors on upper floors - room was a good size - plenty of room - modern, simple furnishings clean and well appointed (room actually reminded me of a premier inn room)
didnt seem to provide clear instructions to get into the car park - would be nice to have free parking for residents or reduced rate - a city map would also be a nice handout
Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Given location, room was very quiet. Would have benefitted from air conditioning.
Would have been good if more information had been posted about how different features of the room worked.
r the staff are well good, the lady on the reception sunday afternoon around two o'clock, and the italian block top bloke, but to be fair all the wer'e well friendly,
none it was good&worth the money,we will be back
our room was fine apart from the fact the weather was very hot and the room was extremely warn even with a fan obviously the hotel can't do anything about the weather
Lovely, friendly staff. Very welcoming Nicely decorated room and lots of storage Breakfast relatively good
Dirty curtains Dirty Throws on bed Dirty Cushion Rusty Plugs Dirty Hot Tub filled with sand not nice Swiming pool not great - tiles missing, water murky Hairs on bed Have photos to support this Didn't like the fact that you had to walk outside to get to the swimming pool. Not great.
Bed bugs! Dangerous shower floor. Dangerous wiring as wall lights go on and off when you walk across the room. Restaurant facilities extremely poor. Parking is a nightmare even when you pay. Reception staff didn’t understand the requirements for an accessible room as was booked and agreed. Initially they changed the double bed to twin beds because WE DIDNT CONFIRM THE DOUBLE BED! We didn’t confirm the toilet or the sink or anything else. Does that mean if you don’t confirm what you have already paid for it gets removed? Had to reschedule the booking as a result but still didn’t get what we booked and paid for. But we did get bed bugs as a free bonus!
Free bed bugs. Dangerous electric wiring. Bad attitude from night manager after they changed the beds. We can confirm what he said and how aggressive he was
Great location as near to bars restaurants and shops. Room exceptionally clean and well stocked.
Nothing
Great location really nice hotel.Lovely rooms and breakfast was very good.
The location was excellent
It was a good convenient location in the middle of Worcester, so everything was within walking distance.
The hotel room was abit outdated, and could do with a modern touch. The lights in the room didn’t always work and it seemed we couldn’t turn the bathroom light on without turning the mirror light in the bedroom on.
We stayed for one night for the races. The hotel is located ideally for the race track with plenty of parking, which is paid for in reception area. The hotel is large and rooms very comfortable and clean. We had a peaceful, comfortable nights sleep and friendly service, from reception and a young lad behind the bar. The atmosphere was quiet and reserved. A nice stay overall with bars and restaurants close by.
Keep up the good work your doing.
There's nothing that i didn't like
First of all, all the staff were fabulous. They genuinely made an effort and were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was quite good, and the location was excellent. Unfortunately, the condition of the hotel seriously let it down. It felt very dated, tired and poorly maintained. In particular: The swimming pool did not appear very clean, and the water was quite murky. The floor of the hot tub was covered in sand. The staff member managing the area explained the reason clearly, but the problem needs proper investment and a permanent repair. The curtains in our room were filthy. There were hairs in the bed. The bed runner was stained. The decorative cushion on the bed smelt unpleasant. The bathroom was poorly maintained. Tiles were missing from the outside wall of the swimming pool area, making it look extremely unsightly. The beds were as hard as nails. I managed only two hours of sleep before having to make a 190-minute drive home, which left me feeling exhausted and unsafe. The walkway to the car park was grim, with paint peeling from the ceiling. Having to walk outside towards the car park to reach the swimming pool was inconvenient and far from ideal. This hotel has the potential to be stunning and truly fit for purpose, but it requires significant refurbishment, improved cleanliness and proper maintenance. As it stands, it feels like a hotel that has stood still in time. Was it worth the money? Definately not!!! Would I stay again? No. Would I recommend it? No.
Location. Confortable bed. Clean. Big room. Good water pressure.
Little outdated. Primer flash was a little tricky.
A very nice, spacious hotel with good decor and facilities. Our room was very clean. The location is excellent. Customer service was really good.
We did not know when booking that we would need to pay £10 per night for parking.
Really nice city hotel
Everything was fine but looking a little tired and in need of some TLC.
Great location and parking facility. Room was generous and comfortable. Breakfast choice and quality perfect.
Room was fine when we went, but I can imagine it was hot without air con over 2026 summer.
Great location. Just steps from the city centre & places to. Room was very clean/ beds comfy. We enjoyed this hotel. Breakast was good with lots of.choice. Tip: as you check in you can pay for your carpark. Its £10 but you get 24hours. This meant after checkout we could explore the city centre.
Not really a dislike. We stayed the 17th August and it was very hot. There waa a fan but really a hotel of this calibre should have aircon.
Central location and very attentive staff
Reception area furnishings look very dated
extrem gute lage gleich beim bahnhof. sehr schönes, gut geführtes hotel. feines, gut ausgestattetes zimmer.
Very central
Everything went wrong
Staff at the bar was rude and used swear words when approached. Hot tub was full of sand. No duvet provided. Shower water too hot. Light switches not working. Breakfast was disgusting… my wife has been sick with vomit and diarrhea all day after eating half of a sausage!
Attend here for a wedding. This could be a lovely hotel, but needs some TLC. Ideally located in the centre. Rooms are ok but agin needs some updating as mattress was way too soft. Unfortunately, the food isn’t great either, canapés were served still frozen to guests, and evening buffet didn’t have much choice, no fresh salads or imagination. Breakfast choice was ok. Only positive was staff friendly and helpful. I wouldn’t be stopping again, not for money for the price per night.
Perfect location for my trip, very close to the railway station and town centre.
Location parking breakfast good replenished regularly used swimming pool steam room good shower powerful
No air conditioning but we had fan in room and asked for 2nd fan at midnight first night of stay which was delivered in 10 mins
Great city centre location with parking. Very good leisure club with pool, spa pool, sauna and steam room.
Great location
The shower in the room didn’t work and we were in a room at the front which was very noisy
Everything
Nothing
Yes the room and facilities were great as were the staff and the eat all you can breakfast👍
Nothing really
Air Con in room Hot Coffee at Breakfast A Toaster that actually toasted
Room was very large and comfortable bed. Location to training centre was excellent Breakfast very good Would definitely look to use again
Car parking was a little more expensive than expected
Joe..Joe..Joe..Absolutely Brilliant...Very efficient and attentive. Excellent Customer service...always puts the customer first!...a "Good egg" all round...a very likeable person.
Breakfast very good gym, steam room very good
Rooms very hot and only a small fan to cool it down so veryhard to sleep
The location opposite the railway station is excellent with two great cafe bars opposite as well as a Tesco Express. It was very clean and the staff were excellent, specaily Joe the young barman. There is a spa which I did not use. The only down signs are no air con in the rooms specailly duting the curent heatwave and if you have steet facing room it gets very loud in the night especially at weekends.
Location was fantastic, just across the road from the train station and in the city center so only a minute walking until you start to hit the shops, bars and restaurants. We moved rooms during our stay but both, one on the third floor and one on the first, were very nice with comfortable beds and great showers. Breakfast was good with choice of buffet hot food, pastries and cereals.
As mentioned we had to move rooms, not really a fault of the hotel but the third floor was like a sauna due to the heatwaves we've been having. The room was so hot that it was impossible to sleep and my wife, who has high blood pressure, was really feeling the pain as her medication recommends to avoid high temperatures. The staff were great and moved us to a room on the first floor that was so much cooler.
On site parking
In its hey day it would have been something. It is know very tired creaky and run down. The elevators are hit and miss. Restaurant is not open Friday Sat or Sunday we scored the room directly behind the elevator so heard every trip it made. Overall would give this one a miss.
Breakfast was very good. The location was great -except for Friday night's boy racers very noisy cars and motor bikes. Naturally, this could not be dealt with by the hotel unfortunately! Leisure facilities were very good, especially the gym.
Nothing to dislike about the hotel.
Location and staff.
No aircon .
Good location, lots to do, friendly staff, very clean, bedrooms are big and spacious. Lovely hotel.
Stopped for one night, in hot weather. Had to have windows open but our room was on the main road, so had no sleep due to all the noise outside all night. Bar was shut before 11:30pm when it was meant to be open till 12am. Breakfast was not good, all lot of options but not worth £15pp, it would be better and cheaper to eat out.
The location
No air-conditioning
Good location
No AC. One Lift was very dim and had a very concerning mechanical noise when in use. The other didn’t know which floor it was and kept saying overloaded with just two people and a baby. Stained pillow. Albeit payment for the hotel car park is made know. It is still disappointing you have to pay especially at £110 per night
Breakfast was good, with everything I had expected. The bacon was a little tough.
The bacon
Perfect location, staff were so lovely. Comfortable bed, huge room!
Very dated, wardrobe had wood peeling completely off. Everything just needs a bit of a revamp. Foyer stairs carpet really tatty. Bit warm in the room, they provided a fan but in this summer weather it's still very hot
Sentralt, rent og fine rom
Ingenting
Parking. Hotel close to Worcester centre, and Foregate Station, if coming by train. Easy walk to racecourse, cricket ground and Cathedral. Good Breakfast; eggs a little hard-had probably been under the hotplate for a while.
Only a sheet on the Bed. The room actually felt a little cold at 2 in the morning
Staff very helpful and location perfect. Worcester is a fantastic city to visit for a long weekend
Everything was brilliant
Great staff. Very friendly. Good facilities. Nice pool. Gym. Good central location.
All of it
Nothing
The reception were very friendly and explained everything we needed to know. The room was very clean and the bed so comfy had a lovely sleep. Breakfast was amazing and again staff very pleasant.
Nothing really at all but would say room was quite dark when all lights on.
I was upgraded to a double room which was excellent
The hotel suffered from the weather conditions and was sometimes uncomfortably warm.
Price and location. Lovely staff.
Shower was a bit too hot!
Welcoming, friendly, parking, central, easy access to all facilities
Convenient location.
Great atmosphere
Friendly staff
Great Location
Good variety of hot and cold food and variety of drinks.
All staff breakfast excellent
Rooms stairs very tiered
The car was secure The room met our needs
I thought we had paid for breakfast. But was told it was room only. We went downstairs to the restaurant for an evening meal, but was told the restaurant was closed all week. So we had to source food from local shops. Apparently we could still get breakfast for an additional charge, We decided to source food from local shops. Not ideal .
Welcoming and clean
No aircon so it was very unpleasnt to sleep. It was central but as i will be going to Worecester again bur will not stay there as there is ni aircon. Drop off front of hotel is nor nice as traffic warden gives ticket.
Staff,location
Room was next to the lift. Could hear it all night.Floor is so loud, could hear every time someone walked pass
výběr na snídani byl adekvátní. Možná více sýrů....
Breakfast and location were very good.
Lack of air conditioning in very warm weather
Location excellent, bed comfy. Spa facilities good. Staff friendly. On site parking.

The accommodation was very clean. Good choice at breakfast.
£20 per night for reserved parking.

The Worcester Whitehouse Hotel is a gem set in the beautiful Georgian crown which is the City of Worcester. The friendly and courteous welcome one receives from the reception staff on arrival, is mirrored in the superb comfort of the rooms, and the bright but also relaxing ambiance of the whole hotel. Real value for money from the moment one arrives, with the delights of the lovely city on the doorstep, more than adequate parking for cars and the GWR station with direct trains to London literally 3 minutes' walk away.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel right in the centre of Worcester. The hotel is old and a little tired looking but the rooms were beautifully clean, well equipped, large and quiet. The shower was amazing it was so powerful!! Breakfast was super, plentiful and hot and the staff was so friendly and helpful. Well done to all.
This hotel is in a great location of worcester virtually in city center, the atmosphere was so calm and quiet. Very relaxed. Hotel was very clean. We went for our wedding and decorated and ran so smoothly, all staff were so polite and pool was excellent. Wouldn't recommend anywhere better
Close to facilities (cafes,pubs restaurants)
Cost of parking
A lot of choice, and there was plenty of gluten free options for my sister, also dairy free yoghurt for me 👍
The location was perfect.
The bar was not open the hours listed in the booklet in the rooms. Street noise in rooms facing the high street. No AC so windows had to stay open.
The location was good for getting around the local pubs. All in walking distance, with plenty of nice places to eat.
Our bedroom was facing the main road, which was quite noisy on a Saturday evening and early into the morning hours. Room was too hot to close the windows- but I’m not complaining about the weather!
Great location, clean and tidy. We could not ask for anything else
Nothing wrong with the property. The only issue we had was with the night reception person. We were sitting in the bar area and chatting with two elderly couples. One of the couples had old music playing quietly to themselves on their mobile phone, which wasn’t loud and was a tinny sound, so wouldn’t travel. The night receptionist came over saying it was disturbing guests in the rooms above, saying that he had had an official complaint from a guest in a room above. He was very rude and aggressive in his approach and i don’t believe that he had had a complaint, because we could only just about hear the music clearly from the next table. I think he just wanted everyone to go to bed for a quiet easy shift. All other staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough for us.
