The hotel is beautiful and also has a very nice location. It is close to the lake and many famous local restaurants. The rooms are clean and spacious. The hotel owner pays attention to every detail, and the staff are friendly and enthusiastic in helping guests. It was a wonderful experience, and I will come back if I have the chance to visit Hanoi.

This small hotel was a pleasant surprise! After researching accommodation in Hanoi extensively, I was apprehensive because the reviews I found didn't seem genuine, and the photos looked unreliable. However, at this hotel, everything was exactly as expected. I can only speak to the family room we stayed in, which accommodated four people. We stayed for six nights! It was spacious and comfortable, featuring a small balcony, air conditioning, and a bathroom with a bathtub. Toiletries, a hairdryer, slippers, and bottled water were provided daily. The room also included an electric kettle and tea and coffee-making facilities. Breakfast was simple but perfectly adequate. There could have been more variety for longer stays—it did get a bit repetitive. But the best part of this place was the reception staff! They were always available and professional, helping us with everything we needed—from laundry service to lending us umbrellas for the whole family. During our stay, we had a Halong Bay cruise planned that was first rescheduled and then cancelled due to bad weather. The hotel staff were impeccable in handling all the necessary adjustments to our itinerary! They were our saving grace, keeping our spirits up despite the frustrations of a completely disrupted trip. The location is also fantastic; everything is within walking distance.

제가 묵었던 방은 창문이 없어 다소 답답했고, 으레 저가 호텔들이 다 그렇듯 외부 소음에 다소 취약했습니다. 2층 방이었는데 복도나 계단 지나다니는 사람들의 소리가 너무 방으로 잘 들어왔고, 특히나 조식 식당에서 2층이나 떨어져 있음에도 불구하고 아침에는 거기서의 대화 소리 때문에 잠을 깰 정도였습니다. 그리고 화장실 청결도와는 별개로 냄새가 심해서 호텔에서 쉬기 불쾌할 정도였습니다. (변기나 샤워 부스 하수구 쪽에서 올라오는 냄새 같더라고요... 내내 화장실 문을 닫고 있었음에도 화장실 갈 때마다 불편했습니다)

Nous vous recommandons tout particulièrement le pho au poulet, préparé à la demande : il était délicieux et constituait une excellente façon de commencer la journée.

I was told that there was an issue with my room and I was then transferred to a "sister hotel" that was terrible. I was also asked to cancel my reservation with Booking.com. I highly recommend this hotel for a hassle-free stay in Hanoi. From airport transfer arrangements before arrival to luggage storage after check-out, everything was handled with great care. We were greeted with coffee and fresh juice upon arrival, which immediately made us feel comfortable. Catherine provided a helpful introduction to the city with a detailed map, and Justin assisted us in booking a great tour. Breakfast was another highlight, offering a good balance of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The overall experience was smooth, convenient, and very enjoyable.

My husband and I stayed for three nights and felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. Being located in the heart of the Old Quarter meant we could easily walk to many of Hanoi's most popular attractions, while countless restaurants and local cafés were right on our doorstep. Combined with the comfortable accommodation and excellent service, it offered incredible value for money, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Sometimes the true quality of a hotel isn't measured by its rooms or facilities but by how the staff treat their guests when something unexpected happens. During our two-night stay, I became seriously unwell and needed to go to the hospital on the very first night. The staff responded with incredible kindness and efficiency, helping us arrange everything and offering support every step of the way. Their compassion made us feel safe and cared for during a very stressful experience. We are deeply grateful for their help and will always remember the exceptional hospitality we received.
