The breakfast was good . You could have as much as you liked and all was delicious. The staff was a1 very cheerie and helpful.

Alot of money for one night expected more. Dated stair/landing carpet. Bathroom dated and in need of a make over. Wallpaper was coming away from the wall. Not the warmest of rooms couldn't get radiator working. Stayed in nicer places for less money. Disappointing.

Convenient location for ferry, and reasonably priced. Parking available 2 streets away behind sister hotel.

Stair carpet looked tired and dirty so first impressions not great. Room was OK (decent size, clean bathroom, fluffy towels, comfortable bed) but there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the hallway - even if it is officially non-smoking, this is clearly not enforced. Very thin walls - I could hear my neighbour snoring!

Location was great and nice sized room. It was perfectly adequate and had nice furnishings.

I feel the building was a bit run down.

Ich wurde sehr herzlich empfangen. Musste noch Pfund 20 für den Hund extra bezahlen. Das Frühstück ist nicht inbebegriffen und ich habe es nicht genommen. Es gibt Strassenparkplätze vor dem Hotel. Das Essen im Restaurant unten ist hervorragend und die Stimmung in der Bar auch sehr gut. Ich würde wiederkommen, aber höchstens für zwei Nächte.

Das Zimmer hat nur ein Fenster in den Innenhof. Es müssen zwei Treppen hinaufgestiegen werden.

The staff and the location

Bathroom was dirty, toothpaste stains down sick and dust and dirt around shower and window sill. Hallway light left on all night which lit up the room. Very basic facilities and very noisy, could hear everything.

Die Aussicht direkt auf den Hafen war super.

Ein grosses Fischerschiff, das vor Anker lag hörte man die ganze Nacht durch.

De keuken, ook van het hotel wat erachter ligt en wat blijkbaar van dezelfde eigenaar is.

De staat van onderhoud is slecht, met name het hotelgedeelte en de toiletten in de pub. Men had de wasbak geïntegreerd in de spoelbak van het toilet, het geheel was ook waardeloos aangelegd waardoor overal kieren en naden waren waar vuiligheid in zat.

Very basic furnishings, vinyl flooring and chwap furniture.

Place needs urgent updating, carpets furniture and decor needs repkaced.

You are paying for the location with this property and I feel it was quite overpriced for what it was.

The key fob for my door rarely worked and I routinely had to get a staff member to grant me access to my room (the staff couldn’t be faulted for their friendliness). I also needed help closing and opening my window, and just generally the facilities felt very tired and it was not very good value for money.

Instructions on how to use the shower. Finally found that the switch for the water was on the wall outside the bathroom.

The location to the ferry

The bathroom was absolutely disgusting and I have tried several times to make a formal complaint. The shower cubicle was a health hazard. Breakfast was basic to see the least with fruit that was far from fresh and diluted fruit juices and stewed coffee which were undrinkable. I have video of the room.

Rooms are nicely done but the corridors need some work. Room is not cheap given the size.

Close to the ferry and other amenities

Not clean enough, bathroom needs a complete refurbishment and sound proofing as we could here the alarm in the next room.

Waterfront with a good restaurant

Basic room with absolutely no frills. Small water view on the top level. No soundproofing and could hear everything from our neighbours. Pillows were awful and we asked for slightly better.

Location, parking right outside on the street

The light was awful, flickering and very limited making it impossible to read. The entrance and the corridor desperately need renovation, the same entrance as the restaurant is not optimal

The bed in the room was comfortable but we had a broken window that would not shut so we layed towels to stop draft the shower went hot and cold and as residents were told to sit at bar to make way for people eating not enough room for paying guests.

On the harbour front this is a great place to sit and watch the world go by on a sunny day.

The staff really didn’t seem to be interested in us and weren’t that friendly. The breakfast was ok but really nothing special with it only offering a continental option and the smallest processed croissants I have ever seen. Considering they are by a harbour and have access to fresh fish as well as other fresh produce from the area, the breakfast was a huge let down. We had better from a glamping site the night before. The room was lovely but there was a lot of light from fairly transparent curtains and lights in corridors left on all night. Gaps in the door frame made the room feel like we were lit up from every angle. The sink was tiny and the shelf above it was wonky which meant it couldn’t be used as everything slid off! Consequently even the hand-wash they provided was on the other side of the room. The toilet handle didn’t work properly either and needed fixing. There was also no hot water through the sink tap.

The staff were lovely, welcoming, friendly and informative about the area such as events, museums and the best restaurants to go to for food. The continental breakfast was a bargain for the price!

The room was not cleaned everyday, the towels were not refreshed, the room and bathroom felt dated and it was dirty. Did NOT sleep very well due to the constant noice coming from the cold store / chilling unit in the hotel, which we suspect was below our bedroom.

The bed was extremely uncomfortable,1 pillow per person the room we were given number 5 had a possible air conditioning unit running every 20 minutes right through the night giving us a bad nights sleep the water that came out of the hot water tap in the en suite sink was so hot it would have caused burns disappointed in our choice

Okay für einen Zwischenstop auf dem Weg zur Fähre, aber leider nicht besonders komfortabel, dafür finde ich den Preis zu hoch.

Sehr teuer und trotzdem kein Frühstück inklusive, zu wenig Platz um Reisegepäck von 2 Personen komfortable auszupacken/umzupacken/etc. Problem mit der Alarmanlage. Man hört bei geöffneten Fenster nachts die Geräusche vom Hafen.

The bed mattress was sagging, fire alarm went off in the middle of both nights we stayed, very disruptive to sleeping, staff were not communicative about the problem and what they were doing to resolve it and were actually quite rude when asked

Trotz Email wurde der Tisch für das Abendessen nicht reserviert. Es ist auch keine Antwort auf das Email gekommen. Sonst war das Personal sehr freundlich.

De douche helemaal verstopt, raam stond open en nauwelijks dicht te krijgen. Bedden erg kort. Kamer mist een stoel, kastjes dat soort dingen. Ullapool ronduit saai. Niets te beleven. Zou leuk havenstadje zijn maar valt tegen

All of the staff were very helpful and friendly. My wife is gluten free and this was well catered for.

Great views, easy check-in and check-out. Rooms spacious and clean. Staff friendly. Didn’t eat there but menu looked good and it was a popular place.

First impressions were it was In need of a bit of maintenance; wallpaper peeling in a couple of places, crack in a toilet seat, doors didn’t close easily. At night some form of noisy compressor that switched on and off. Showers were newer and good flow of water but the temperature varied rapidly from freezing to scalding. It was functional but having stayed recently at several inns in Norfolk and Suffolk it was the same cost but not of the same quality.

Nice ambience. Breakfast was a great deal.

The location was ideal for an overnight having arrived on the ferry.

There was only one very fat firm pillow on each single bed in our twin room, 2 pillows would be appreciated, and softer more comfortable ones. The room met our needs but I felt that for the price paid it was rather basic. We opted to eat elsewhere in the evening and for breakfast due to comments in other reviews.

Great location and view. Bed comfortable, tv amazing, WiFi pretty good. It’s an older building, but well kept.

The breakfast was marginal and not reflective of the photo. Fortunately there are good options a few blocks away.

Bed was an amazing king size but.......on the left hand side it felt as though your feet were up higher than your head. Could also feel springs. I had to move into the middle of the bed to get comfortable which defeated the object of having a kingsize

Good location and room ok although compact.

Shower tray didn’t drain; no towel rail so had to use damp towels in the morning. Room ok although window frames mouldy but stairs and corridor leading to room were very tired and grubby looking. Having stayed at Marie House hotel for the previous 2 nights for less with good quality breakfast included we were disappointed in our choice.

The toilet actually flushed! We were surprised it worked.

Thé furniture was tatty and dated. The hot water tap in the sink didn’t work at all, there was dirt and hair on the floor around the edge of the bathroom, black mould in the shower tray and the bedroom window was so warped it wouldn’t shut. See attached pictures

Location was excellent for the ferry. Shower was very good.

Room was up 3 flights of steep stairs. Room window would not close, handle was falling off, toilet seat was on its last legs. Curtain for the window didn't close out the light. Food downstairs was tasty but expensive.

The breakfast was well worth £4.99, with a selection of fruit, cheese, yoghurts, cereals and breads. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The room was rather small for more than one or two nights. It is an old house so we could hear our neighbours conversing at 6.30am.

Room up stairs on first floor overlooking the harbour. Good sized room with shower. Excellent food in the pub downstairs.

After getting on the landing outside room 1, there was an awful smell of cigarette smoke.
