Very comfortable and despite being in a busy road it was very quiet inside the apartment, host was great and very responsive

The apartment is amazing, good size, comfortable, clean and the location is in the perfect spot in the old quarter. It’s within walking distance to food spots, convenience stores and near by historical sights. I would definitely come back and I highly recommend.

No reception…. Arrived 2300 hrs roller door locked, difficult to get into the coffee shop ( seller of coffee beans then difficult to get the security card to operate the elevator… without a reception there is nobody to ask for general information best place to obtain a eSIM etc

Location is perfect, it was clean and good value to the money. Instructions were really helpful. Lift straight to the room was new and an interesting experience.

Mostly the noise which is understandable - very common in Vietnam but at the same time I chose this apartment for good reviews especially considering guests were saying it was quiet which was not the case or we just got really unlucky. We arrived at Sunday and the whole day very loud music was playing at the shop downstairs (our room was at the second floor). Later the same night one of the neighbors were playing really loud local music - it was hard to sleep and rest. Our second night I guess the same neighbor were listening to tv really high volume again and we can hear literally everything from the stairwell. Early morning our third day people were coming and going and the shutters were so loud at the shop (which you have to go through to get out) it was really unpleasant). Also the light in the bathroom needs to be fixed - it was flickering constantly. The elevator light are interfere with the sleep too. I also didn’t like that the host was texting me everyday. Id rather deal with everything on the first day and be done with it. I wouldn’t choose to stay there again.

Everything was good - had almost everything you needed in an apartment and location was excellent. Huge room so it was much better than staying in a hotel. Tis being an apartment, it gets clean perhaps every alternate day and of course you don’t get your regular bottles of water but that was ok. We just went to buy our own water from a nearby convenient store. Host Cris was very prompt in his reply and service. Thank you so much and we had a wonderful stay. Also, there”s a washer and dryer on the 7th floor and you can do your laundry for free which was a plus point for us. Highly recommend this place. Thanks again Allen Jansen Singapore

Perhaps if there were clothes hooks / hanger in the bathroom would be good.

Very clean and basic and in a great location. Has everything we needed and going through the closed downstairs coffee shop made it a very interesting stay

The facility is superb, very good location, very good room, and have free washer, dryer. The room is very spacious, and feel private as it is a residence. Cleanliness is superb (although they might only clean once while you stay)

The room is very clean when we arrived, but there is no cleaning service during the stay. Finding the residence is a bit difficult as it is located inside a coffee shop (Trung Chung), but once you know the spot, it is even easier than to be in hotel.

Getting in and out may be a bit complicated during the hours that the shop is closed but I had no isssues with it.

Central location, easy access for those who are looking for just a room in central Hanoi.

Amazing service, great location and lovely room, we left a necklace and luckily the owner was going to be in HCMC at the same time as us, so he kept it safe and let us while we were there, so kind!!

Location is amazing, super clean apartment with all necessary facilities. You cannot hear anything happening outside even if you are one of Hanoi’s main streets. Owner was really responsive and friendly.

Nice location, nice room. Fun way to get in and out via a coffee store. This may seem like a problem, but it was never a problem during a 4-night stay that included some early leavings and late returnings.

Excellent location close to the lake/the old city and though the streets are busy still quiet. Nice small apartment with a balcony. Easy to contact the helpful hosts.

The tiny kitchen area seems a bit of an afterthought compared to the rest of the apartment, though still recommended

Tolle Lage, wunderschöne Zimmer, riesige Fenster zum beobachten der belebten Straßen, gutes Design. War ein grundsätzlich ein toller Aufenthalt.

Aufzug etwas komisch zu bedienen, nur eine Karte, heißt man muss immer gemeinsam raus. Schimmel hinterm Waschbecken. Straßenlärm. Nachts wollte mal wer vom Stiegenhaus aus in unser Zimmer, sehr gruselig. Kommunikation mit Vermieter sehr unpersönlich.

Geweldige locatie. Heel goed contact via whatsapp met de verhuurder. Het pand in komen wanneer de winkel dicht is, is super makkelijk met een code!

Really swanky room with amazing views of Hang Bong street. Hotel owner was extremely helpful when I misplaced my passport and supported in getting it returned to me. Location is right in the thick of it and not far from Hoam Kiem lake which is a tourist highlight with a host of attractions nearby.

Although the room was decorated amazingly well, the proximity of the street just outside meant that it wasn’t a restful night’s sleep. Traffic is very heavy so bear this in mind. Suitable for short stays of a few nights. This is not the owners fault - the apartment being in a conservation area means that there is little they can do to stop the noise pollution.

Washing machine was not working. Aircon sometime work sometime did not work properly. Payment method was not clear. Should have been described properly to state cash vs card (with fee). Only booking.com it clearly stated card as prepayment.

The host was rather rude about our arrival. The confirmation message indicated that we had an early check-in, so we timed our arrival accordingly. When I reminded him of this, he simply said I was lying and asked me for evidence. I then sent him a screenshot of the early check-in offer, to which he responded "Oh, yes, that's subject to availability." A shame, as everything else about the apartment, including our subsequent communication, was fine.

Location is great, close to everything but not in the middle of the mass. Very modern and clean. We stayed at floor 4 with a little window sitting.

Nous sommes arrivés un peu tard et on ne s’attendait pas à rentrer dans un magasin pour prendre un ascenseur. On s’est un peu perdu avec tous les codes, la boîte à clés… C’est très bruyant

We were a little hesitant at first because the entrance to the apartment is through a store, but it turned out to be such a nice surprise. You actually get your own private access, which makes it feel like you have your own shopfront—you can come and go anytime, whether the store is open or closed. The location is perfect, right in the heart of everything and within easy walking distance to all the main spots. The apartment itself is very spacious, with a hallway big enough to open up luggage comfortably, a large bathroom, its own kitchen, and even a dining table with a lovely view of the street. Overall, it was a unique and enjoyable stay—much better than we expected!

This apartment is amazing — it's right in the city centre! The check-in and check-out process was really straightforward. The owner was always available on WhatsApp and happy to answer any questions we had. The washing machine was particularly useful on rainy and hot days. The Wi-Fi was super-fast and the kitchen and balcony were great, too. We'd definitely recommend this apartment!

We loved our TINY apartment. It was VERY well fitted out with everything you could realistally need. Also, the access instructions via WhatsApp were very good abd easy to follow.

The hard copy info booklet was found under the ironing board on day 2. 😁

Location was great. Elevator directly to your unit. Super good value. Happy with the price I paid for my stay.

I mean there is not much to complain about for the price that I paid. If you want something more fancy and hotel amenities then go stay at a hotel and pay more.

We loved the location, decor, comfort & aesthetics of the room! It was very well decorated and maintained! Really wish we could have extended or stay a few more days; the room felt like an elevated version of home! Hanoi is where my heart was SOO happy! I will definitely visit Hanoi & Rue de Coton again :)

Getting in and out was a bit tricky the 1st time, but we learned quickly! We got hot water, but the orange light that usually comes on when the switch is turned on wasn't working, so it was a bit hard to tell if it was on or not... nevertheless the host manager was very helpful and quick in replying whenever we needed and if ever we had a question.

The decor

Very noisy, not only from the street which is obvious, but you have an elevator coming straight to the room, so every time somone uses it you gonna hear, the same for the emergency exit - you hear all neighbours. Uncomfortable bathroom, no towel hangers. There was no desk on the room - there was on the photos.

The room is well maintained, cozy and convenient. The location is absolutely the most valuable thing. Building is located in the center of center of Hanoi. I can easy find restaurant, convenient store,... Will stay here again when visit Hanoi
