Theo fue muy amable, el lugar está muy cerca, todo lo hicimos caminando.

El baño no tiene puerta, es una cortina, entonces hay poca privacidad. La luz y el llavín del cuarto no servían muy bien. Importante: El hotel NO tiene parqueo, a pesar de que en la descripción dice que si, el carro se puede dejar en la calle, y pues a nosotros no nos pasó nada malo, pero NO hay parqueo privado.

Voorop gesteld: we hebben een fijn verblijf gehad. Nette kamer, zeer schoon. Fijne airco, geluidloos. Vriendelijke host. Sprak geen Engels maar met Google translate kwamen we een heel eind. Fijn om de keuken en koelkast te kunnen gebruiken. Mogelijkheid om koffie en thee te zetten. Meerdere plekken om te zitten buiten je kamer om. Je loopt binnen een paar minuten naar de Coloniale zone.

Minder punten vonden wij: Alleen mogelijk in cash en gepast te betalen (of naar Frans bankrekening over te maken). Op booking.com stond dat er ontbijt kon worden afgenomen. Dit bleek niet altijd mogelijk en was helaas zo tijdens ons verblijf. Op het dakterras staat een vogelkooi met zo'n 15 papegaaitjes en parkietjes. Zij waren in de middag zodanig luidruchtig dat we met oordoppen op het terras hebben gezeten. De jacuzzi zag er niet heel aantrekkelijk uit.

Needs updating, plumbing issues, doors not closing properly, generally run down.

The room was clean and the location was very central, making it easy to get around and access nearby attractions.

There was no hot water and the water pressure was extremely poor—it only came out as a tiny, cold dribble, which was very disappointing.

The room was clean and there was a nice terrace to sit on one floor up. Good value for the price. A/C worked great. The owner was friendly and honest and felt badly about the electricity and water issues!

Unfortunately there is a lot of construction nearby the property which made it a little difficult to navigate to. It would have been nice for the owner to contact us to help us get there via car. Parking is wherever you can find on the street, but for us this involved some back-and-forth with a local who wanted some money to help us. Also, electricity was out when we arrived, and water was out the following morning. No door between the bathroom and bedroom.

The place is run by a swiss- dominican couple. They speak Spanish and French. No English. The place is clean, cozy, easy going. The location is great.

Nous avons loué une chambre dans un appartement commun avec une autre chambre. L’autre chambre étant libre, nous avons eu la chance de profiter seuls de la cuisine /salon ainsi que de deux terrasses surplombant le quartier colonial. Son emplacement est idéal et pour autant au calme. L’accueil chaleureux 🥰. Je recommande à 100%

Au vue du rapport qualité/prix, il est difficile de se plaindre !

There is in fact a room with private bathroom in a bigger apartment. Some areas are shared . The wi-fi in my room was not properly working, I had to stay in the shared area for using the internet. Anyway, most of the time it was nobody there . Very difficult to reach the room, it is at a second floor and you have to climb a lot of stairs.

The clean, central room and the super nice host that gave us precious tips and cooked a delicious local breakfast!

El lugar tiene excelente ubicación, si tienes planes de disfrutar de la zona colonial todo te queda muy cerca. La habitación nos gustó, estaba limpia, bien arreglada, acogedora. Lo más importante es la atención del dueño, él mismo se encargará de que tengas todo lo que necesites, por lo que puedes comunicarte con él en cualquier momento. Tuve un inconveniente y a las 10 de la noche fue a ayudarnos a resolverlo. El lugar es tranquilo por lo que podrás descansar muy bien. No hay estacionamiento pero al frente o en las calles secundarias puedes dejar tu vehículo con tranquilidad pues es área segura. Sin duda recomiendo este lugar y volveré cuando necesite estar en la zona.

Bastante tranquilo, igual que en las fotos, pedí la habitación con bañera, me hizo el día, además está a dos cuadras de la calle el conde y hay muchos puestos para comprar cosas o comida.

Small cozy place, gives feeling like home. Exceptionally outgoing and warm stuff. The location is great, quiet, no traffic at all. The colonial center in less than 5 mins walk.

If you travel by car, better to care about parking lot, course there is lack in front of the hotel.

A localização é perfeita perto de tudo e ao mesmo tempo tranquilo. Os funcionários extremamente receptivos, simpáticos e prontos a ajudar em tudo. As instalações são simples mas tudo funciona perfeitamente bem. Um bebedouro com água fria e quente que pode ser usado a qualquer momento. Para nós a estadia foi perfeita.

O banho poderia ter um pouco mais de água. Mas funciona muito bem.

Location was just a little away from main attraction area so it was quiet and peaceful. There were birds in the balcony with a chilling area.

Les chambres sont superbes, la localisation est superbe mais par dessus tout, c’est la gentillesse de David le propriétaire qui a fait la différence. Digne d’une conciergerie de luxe, nous reviendrons que pour lui si nous en avions l’occasion !

Forse non era l'appartamento che abbiamo prenotato. Però aveva la vasca da bagno che è stata una nostra richiesta specifica! Peccato per le tante scale da fare, bisognerebbe segnalarlo per le persone che hanno problemi di mobilità e/o salute!

El hotel está en pleno centro histórico y en una zona muy segura. Los anfitriones son muy buenos y concidero atención excelente. El desayuno es rico y a un buen precio.

The owners, the hospitality, the location, the room... Everything!!! I will not stay anywhere else! It felt like family!

The only thing i didn't like was that I couldn't stay longer! Literally, David and Elemis have the Best boutique hotel around!!

The best part of this experience was the lady who runs the B&B, who went over and beyond as hostess. It is 5 minutes walk to the old town area, and just a few minutes from restaurants and cafes, and a bureau de change for changing money. They also have a fridge with fair-priced drinks, and a small kitchen for tea and coffee, as well as a free drinking water dispenser, which was a life-saver in the heat of Santo Domingo. Rooms are airconditioned. They also arranged someone to pick me up at the airport, which was on the more expensive side, but worth it for piece of mind in opinion (tip: if you pay the taxi in pesos, it will be a better price).

Ausgezeichnete Lage direkt in der Colonial Zone. Gepflegtes kleines Inhabergeführtes Hotel. Supernette Betreuung durch die Inhaber, die mit Rat und Tat behilflich waren. Kann dieses kleine Hotel nur empfehlen, sehr geeignet für einen kurzen Aufenthalt um die Stadt zu erkunden.

Uns hat alles gefallen. Gewöhnungsbedürftig war lediglich das es keine Badezimmertür gab sondern einen Vorhang.

All was great...the only issue is parking...it took almost 10mins to squeeze into a parallel space between cars that lined the street...

I loved this house. A pretty historical home. The hosts were very nice and welcoming always ready to help.

Wir haben bewusst ein kleines Zimmer genommen und genau dies hat uns gefallen. Obwohl Zimmer und Bad klein sind, gibt es eine Kofferablage, eine Komode und Nachttischlein. Es gibt eine gemeinsame Küche, einen kleinen Raum mit Bar, Sitzecke und Esstisch, sowie einen kleinen gemeinsamen Balkon und auf dem Dach eine grosse Dachterasse. Somit ist wirklich ausreichend Platz. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und ausgiebig. Die Gastgeber waren überdurchschnittlich hilfsbereit.

Wenn es was zu beklagen gäbe (mit dem Hinweis die Hintergründe nicht zu kennen) gibt es auf der Dachterasse einige Vögel. Es geht ihnen gut, sie werden gut versorgt und alles, für uns persönlich sind es einfach zu viele und es ist die Frage, ob es wirklich notwendig ist dort so viele Vögel zu halten. Dies hat aber nichts mit der Unterkunft zu tun und ihn eine rein persönliche Betrachtung.

Faltó limpieza de la habitación en tres días, sin avisarlo previamente. El baño no tenía puerta, sólo una cortina, tampoco estaba aclarado en la web.

Las instalaciones están muy bonitas , es ideal para familia y poder utilizar las habitaciones por separado.

No cuentan con parqueo propio, es en la calle el parqueo.

Disponibilité du personnel pour aider et répondre aux sollicitations du client. Flexibilité pour l'usage de la petite cuisine, un plus si l'on veut préparer ses repas ou son propre petit-déjeuner. Residencial bien placé pour accéder à pied aux points d'intérêt de la Zona Colonial

Un ventilateur pourrait utilement être installé sur la terrasse compte tenu de la chaleur ambiante

Lots of stairs to the apartment

My sister and I booked the Deluxe Quadruple Room and our stay was amazing! The location is perfect, right in the middle of the Colonial Zone but not in a busy street meaning it is quiet at night. Everything you could want is within 10 minutes walk. There is a well equipped bathroom with towels and a kitchen with a water tank. I adored the balcony and views from the rooftop. David & Elemis are wonderful hosts who will do everything to make your stay comfortable. They answered all my questions, even unrelated to our stay and were very prompt communicators.

More toilet paper please ;) Don't leave crumbs or ants will come! To be clear this is a hostel-hotel hybrid so the rooms and bathrooms are private like hotel but the kitchen and balcony is shared with the other guests on the floor (3 rooms total). It was not a problem since we had the whole floor to ourselves for 90% of our stay, except another guest coming in around 3am on our last night which the main door to the floor is creaky.
