Reviewed Sep 19, 2026The room's design, the facilities everything is good. The room size really good, big bed n there's a sofa bed too. Lots of facilities that many hotels won't provide.
Everything else was good, except I noticed there was quite a bit of dust on items that are not frequently used or touched, such as the portable towel hanger and ironing board. I had to wipe them clean before using them.
For the toiletries, the shampoo and shower gel were only filled to a very low level. As I shower at least twice a day, I do use quite a bit. I didn’t bother calling housekeeping as I had brought my own toiletries, but I do feel the bottles should at least be half full for the next guest.
Also, for a Super King bed made by putting two Super Single mattresses together, there should ideally be a mattress bridge or a Super King bedspread to cover the gap between the mattresses. Having the gap exposed was quite disappointing and, in my view, not acceptable for a Super King setup.
Lastly, it would be great if the resort could offer more activities for guests, such as day trips, water sports, horse riding, or other fun activities in and around the resort. Having more options would make the stay even more enjoyable, especially for guests who prefer to have something to do rather than just relax at the resort.
I hope you’ll look into these small details and make the necessary improvements.

I absolutely loved the room! I booked a twin room with two double beds for our stay, and everything was so comfortable. I especially loved the mattress and pillows, as well as the amenities provided.
My son really enjoyed the pool too. It was quite packed because of the school holidays, but seeing all the kids having so much fun made it totally worth it. After all, happy kids are what matters most! 😊
Overall, we had a wonderful stay.
The breakfast buffet was okay, but I feel the selection could be improved. Considering we paid RM55 per adult, I was expecting a little more variety.

Расположение - очень далеко от центра. Море не близко, но и купаться там не получится. Проваливаешься в песке. Но самое страшное, это огромное количество песчаных мух которые грызут тебя.
Het personeel was super aardig. Het ontbijtbuffet is goed. Je kunt in het Hilton tegen betaling dineren wat ook in buffet was.
De ligging zonder vervoer ben je gewezen op het hotel. De strand was best ver ten opzichte van het hotel en de capaciteit van het zwembad is te klein voor het aantal gasten.
Ik had het lampje voor de schoonmaak aangezet maar de slaapkamer werd niet schoongemaakt!
De kamer mag beter worden schoongemaakt de binnenkant van de badkamer deurpost zit onder het stof

Reviewed Aug 25, 2026Overall, the property is great. I really like the quiet and peaceful environment. It’s a great place to relax and relieve stress.
One small issue that could be improved is the problem with insects. For example, there were quite a lot of flies and mosquitoes in the restaurant, which made it difficult to enjoy our meals and relax. I believe this is something the property could improve.

Cannot fully put my finger on it, but expected it to be a bit more fancy for the price we paid.
The resort has the bones of a 4-star property, but the overall atmosphere felt a bit flat and empty during our stay. While the staff was nice, I would have expected abit more attention to detail. In the pool area a lot of the sunbed mattresses were wet/dirty. I might be naive, but I find it weird that other guests apparently find it normal to leave it behind like this. But as they did you might expectthe staff to tidy it up a little every now and then..The gardens between the main building/reception and the beach were slightly disappointing and looked like they needed more care. The biggest letdown was the beach setup. The shade huts are very basic, and most only have bare wooden planks to sit on. The only hut with a mattress was unfortunately dirty. It is a decent place to stay, but it currently lacks the comfort and energy you expect from a 4-star resort.
All in all we had a pleasant stay, but it did feel a bit overpriced.

Расположение отеля непростое, загородное, в часе езды от Кота-Кинабалу, но это хорошо, так как в городе намного жарче из-за асфальта и бетона. Такси всегда можно вызвать либо на ресепшн, либо в приложениях Grab и Maxim. Стоит машина 70-80 ринггит. В отеле недорого продаются собственные экскурсии развлекательного характера (каяк, морская прогулка на закате, рыбалка и т.д.). Номера красивые и просторные, всё новое, никаких комаров в номерах нет, у нас было 4 номера. Очень удобная кровать огромного размера, 3 метра шириной. Постель шуршащая, одеяло как облачко, матрас идеальный - спалось отлично! Wi-Fi в номерах также нормально работает. Здесь полный релакс, вечерами после ужина ничего не происходит, мы смотрели на телевизоре YouTube и ложились спать. Питание у нас было завтрак-ужин, хорошее, но однообразное. Причем в начале отдыха было вкуснее, когда было все не острое. В конце отдыха туристов из Азии стало больше и острых блюд стало больше. Вечером можно попеть караоке. Территория классная, есть, где погулять. Рядом мангровые леса, поэтрму многие пишут про возможных крокодилов: территория от них защищена, нет там никого. На территории большой бассейн. Вроде как чисто, но не особо. В номерах убираются так себе, многократно хотелось попросить швабру, чтобы нормально помыть полы. Постель нам поменяли на 10й день по нашей просьбе. В бассейне редко меняют воду, в какой-то момент вода перестала быть прозрачной и было очень неприятно купаться. Самое неприятное - песчаные мухи и мошки, они везде, мы все искусаны с ног до головы, укусы проходят очень долго, до 2 недель, все чешется. Но это природное явление и оно везде на Борнео. Мы ездили на соседние острова - там тоже они были замечены. Комары тоже есть, но в сравнении с песчаными мухами и мошками - это ерунда. Дело в том, что эти насекомые не погружают в вас носик как комар, а выгрызают из вас кусочек кожи и их слюна дает сильную аллергическую реакцию. Их сложно заметить, они маленькие, но очень противные. Ещё в отеле не очень дела обстоят с морем, но, надо сказать, на Борнео мало мест с комфортным купанием и чистым морем. Здесь ярко выражены приливы и отливы, купаться не очень комфортно и море часто непрозрачное. В общем, купаться если вы хотите - у вас это получится, но море далеко не лучшее.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026Die Hotelanlage ist schön gestaltet und weitläufig, mit verschiedenen Sitzmöglichkeiten auf dem Gelände; die Zimmer geräumig, die Betten breit und bequem; das Bad ist ebenfalls groß und mit einer ebenerdigen Dusche ausgestattet. Das Abend-Buffet war sehr vielseitig und die Speisen lecker.
Im Bad war ein muffiger Geruch wahrzunehmen.

Cassandra from hospitality was really superb and made our trip a difference; many thanks Cassandra! In general staff was very friendly.
- we had ordered breakfast packages and it was not ready the day we needed it
- the pool did not get regular cleaning it seemed and was not entirely clean and towels were not always available even if the pool was not busy
- some days the buffet was really too busy and kitchen could not follow

Reviewed Jul 17, 2026Wunderschöne Anlage mit sehr sauberen, geräumigen Bungalows und einer tollen Poollandschaft, die besonders für Familien mit Kindern ideal ist. Das gesamte Personal war außergewöhnlich freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Die Lage eignet sich hervorragend als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge.
Insgesamt können wir das Hotel dennoch uneingeschränkt empfehlen und würden sofort wiederkommen.
Das Essen im Hotel hat uns dagegen nicht überzeugt. Vergleichbare Gerichte gibt es an den Lokalen an den Straßen in der Nähe massiv günstiger und oft besser. Den Strand haben wir kaum genutzt, da es dort Sandflöhe gab und sich in der Nähe eine Lagunenmündung befindet, in der Salzwasserkrokodile vorkommen. Obwohl diese scheinbar ausreichend Abstand halten, hatten wir dabei ein ungutes Gefühl.

Reviewed Jul 10, 2026We were surprised when we first entered Room 096 as there was a strange smell coming from the room. After returning from an evening walk on the beach, we were shocked to see a rat running above the wardrobe into the ceiling. Throughout the night, we could hear it running across the ceiling, and there was a strong smell that seemed to come from rat droppings. This was very unpleasant and affected our overall experience.
On the positive side, the room was clean, spacious, and well maintained. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, and we had a great night's sleep despite the disturbance. The staff were also pleasant, and the location was enjoyable.
I sincerely hope the management will address the rat issue as soon as possible, as it is a serious concern. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and believe the hotel has great potential if this problem is resolved.

Recommend this place to anyone who looking a better place to stay for a holiday.
The room were nice. Moderately decorated.
The water pressure were not enough for us to use the bathtub.

due to the long weekend and too many guests, check in process took quite a while, and we also had to wait for our linen to be delivered to our room after check in. During breakfast there was also a long wait for the food/drinks to be refilled.

The bathroom with foul smell. It’s quite obvious when we enter the bathroom especially night time.

Reviewed Jun 19, 2026Substantial buffet breakfast, gorgeous rooms with huge comfy bed. Bathroom lovely with full supplies of beautiful bath and hair products Resort is immaculate with beautiful pool. Restaurant is nice but variety could be improved. Staff were super accommodating.
It’s a little bit isolated, there’s no mini marts or anything like that near by so if you enjoy anything other than tiger or Heineken beer come prepared. Otherwise there is a bar with cocktails and spirits but it doesn’t open till 4pm

De ligging van de locatie is echt een uur van de bewoonde wereld af, dit is niet te lopen en moet je steeds een Grab regelen.
Niet veel te doen bij het hotel, we hadden twee dagen regen en dan is er geen activiteit of gezellige bar waar je iets kunt drinken.

房间有异味，厕所的下水道异味特别重。下水道堵塞，淋浴的时候会涨水。房间蚊虫非常多，一晚上可以打死10只以上。空调的吹风声音异常大，跟外机的音量差不多。自助早餐的品类的数量和其价格严重不符，性价比极低。在周边根本没有任何第三方饮食设施的环境下，别无选择必须吃。早餐的服务员普遍无精打采。早餐里很多品类不能及时补充。做煎蛋和鸡蛋卷的厨师的火候控制完全不达标，煎蛋的品相很糟糕，鸡蛋卷外部是煎过头的。咖啡机的垃圾槽需要清理，我必须站在咖啡机前很久才有人来换。早餐有提供粥，但粥的旁边除了酱料，任何搭配粥的小菜都没有。儿童游泳池旁没有看到任何救生员。

I give this comment not because i dont like it but it can help to improve it.
1. They should service the aircond. Still ok but it took long time to cold.
2.The toilet is so clean but have some bad smell.

Serene and haven with beautiful beach. Its a place for healing. Staff are very efficient and friendly.
The drive to the location with small road and if driving at night very dark. Need to add more food outlet nearby or more in house cafe. Maybe should add welcoming performance such as a free short cultural dance/show.
Check In time was inconvenient, need to wait 2 hours and multiple inquiries before being shown to the room

Reviewed May 27, 2026The king guest room is very spacious, and the minibar is not near the bed but on the other side of the partition. This is a very cool design, making it like having a room within a room. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
I hope the food like the dinner buffet will improve its quality. The rice is too dry almost like not really cook.
