Riad Hadia Fes - Prestige Stay

Après avoir séjourné dans ce magnifique riad, je repars véritablement enchanté. Dès mon arrivée, l’accueil particulièrement chaleureux du personnel m’a immédiatement mis à l’aise. Le riad est superbe, authentique et remarquablement préservé. Son architecture, sa décoration et son atmosphère transportent véritablement hors du temps, au point de vouloir y rester simplement pour prolonger cette sensation. L’ensemble de l’établissement est par ailleurs très bien entretenu, avec une propreté irréprochable, aussi bien dans les chambres que dans les espaces communs. Les chambres sont typiques de la tradition des riads marocains et ont su conserver tout leur caractère. Elles offrent à la fois intimité et fraîcheur, avec un couchage particulièrement généreux et confortable. La cuisine mérite une mention toute particulière. Le petit-déjeuner beldi est excellent, savoureux et généreux. Tout comme les repas proposés (salades et plats traditionnels marocains) ils comptent parmi les meilleurs que j’aie pu goûter après avoir testé beaucoup de restaurants à Fès. Une cuisine authentique, pleine de saveurs et de générosité. Enfin, le rooftop, très agréablement aménagé, offre une vue magnifique qui permet de contempler Fès dans toute sa dimension. Un endroit idéal pour prendre de la hauteur et apprécier pleinement la beauté de la ville. Une adresse pleine de charme et d’authenticité que je recommande sans hésiter. Un grand merci à toute l’équipe, et tout particulièrement à Hadia pour son accueil, sa gentillesse et sa bienveillance.

La ubicación del Riad es muy buena con acceso en coche y a 7 minutos de la Medina. Un interior muy bonito y una terraza excepcional. Las habitaciones espaciosas aunque el baño era algo pequeño. El personal lo mejor Gracias Marwane por la atención excepcional recibida

De locatie ligt eigenlijk in de oude medina. Eigenlijk zouden we 2 nachten in een ander zriad verblijven, maar deze was bewust overbooked en wilde ons naar een andere louche riad sturen. We zijn daar vertrokken en hebben zelf last minute Riad Hadia geboekt. Daar werden we met open armen door het personeel ontvangen. En is er last minute nog voor ons een diner gekookt om 21.30 uur. Dat erg lekker was: diverse salads en rundstagines met pruimen. Het Marokkaans ontbijt was ook heerlijk vers, uitgebreid en divers.

Friendly helpful staff, beautifully decorated, great location, comfy and clean

Door to our room did not have a key, so we had to leave the room unlocked when we were away. This was not a problem for us, but I know it would be for other people, so that is why I mention it.

I loved the TLC received from manager, Marwane. It could have been a disaster but quickly became paradise. We made reservation night prior. In the morning Marwane asked for our ETA which was late and dark by 10 pm. The front of Riad is crazy busy and intimidating. Marwane asked that we follow his moped to a secure public parking one min away. He helped us carry our luggage through a nonbusy backway, 5 min walk. Once we entered Riad the noise and city hassle was lost. The inside was total serenity along w beautiful. I took the emerald room which was HUGE. The bed was firm and super comfortable with a cozy white clean bed cover. My son took the red room which was even larger. Neither of us carried luggage since his assistant took them to room while we had tea. My AC worked brilliantly. Bathroom moderate size, shelf space and hand held shower w hot water and great pressure, extremely clean. Riad is one min walk from Medina. Marwane practically bent backwards to assure us the perfect stay. Riad is quiet safe and we each received a personal lock and key to rooms. One key to enter building. I was texting Marwane late into the night and he responded. Riad is lucky to have Marwane We had no meals there Good Wi-Fi

Scary to think there would be no parking but resolved by Marwane and after two nights Marwane went with my son to get the car ...parking charge of $9!!!!. He again helped to place luggage in car.

Es un lugar precioso, muy tranquilo y cómodo, además la terraza es increíble, ideal para tomarse un té con vistas a la ciudad. El desayuno estaba buenísimo y la cena deliciosa también. El personal fue sin duda lo mejor de nuestra estancia, fueron super amables y acogedores, destaco a Marwan, es el mejor!!!

Located right off a major road is a huge plus so no need to navigate alleyways. Centuries-old Riad is spectacular looking. Mosque is available right behind Riad. Breakfast is amazing every morning. Terrace is beautiful. Service from Madame Hadia, Ahmed, Naeem, and the rest of the crew is phenomenal. Very friendly, supportive, and accommodated all of our concerns. They even took our clothes for laundry service! Overall great place, with great service, and a huge bonus was all the historical sites in the old medina of Fes being walking distances. Make sure your GPS is working though!

We had a family of 5 and going up narrow stairs to next floor every time was tough. Room was warm so lack of ventilation was challenging. Listing says "Additional amenities include a washing machine", but there is no laundry on site. Acceptable payment methods stated are all credit cards, but we had to pull out cash from ATM machine across the street to pay for our stay. So make sure you bring cash.

Ahmad and the rest of the staff were wonderful. Ahmad even sat with me to give me a short history of Fes and how to get about the city. He was a genuine host.

Everything was great. Just a preference thing was the room's location, as it was just off the Riad (inner garden area) so I heard all the guests when I tried to get to bed early. But this is only because im a light sleeper. Just something to keep in mind for other guests.

La proprietaria ci ha dato una stanza senza possibilità di avere una chiave per chiuderla e infatti un altro guest è entrato erroneamente nella nostra stanza.... La doccia non funzionava correttamente e solo dopo tentativi vari di chiedere una chiave siamo stati spostati in un'altra stanza dove ci è stata conferita la chiave. Il letto matrimoniale era composto da due letti normali e quindi ti ritrovi con il buco in mezzo

L'accueil exceptionnel de Hadia et Ahmed. Très professionnel. Bonne cuisine (petit déjeuner et dîner). A conseiller.

Riad plein de charme, idéalement situé à l'entrée de la médina. Hadia nous a très bien accueilli et donné de bons conseils pour nos visites. Le petit déjeuner était copieux. Nous avons également dîné au Riad et apprécié le repas mais son prix était assez élevé. Notre budget étant serré, nous n'avons réservé qu'un dîner mais si vous n'avez pas de contrainte budgétaire, nous le conseillons. Enfin, la terrasse est un plus ! Aménagée avec goût, elle est très agréable.

The riad is beautiful. Hadia, the host, shows great hospitality and makes you feel comfortable when you step into the riad (so is her staff).

Some bathroom facility may need a little upgrade/design, as it’s pretty plain at the moment.

- Die Unterkunft war sauber - Der Innenhof ist sehr schön, ein authentisches Riad - Dachterrasse (auf der einen Seite sehr schön) mit Blick auf die umliegenden Häuser und die Hauptstrasse - Beachte für Allergiker: Zwei hübsche Katzen leben im Riad, alle Türen müssen deshalb immer geschlossen sein (ganz wichtig!). Die eine Katze beisst, wenn man sie streicheln will.

- Unser Zimmer hatte kein Fenster, es war modrig / feucht und der Geruch im Zimmer war ekelhaft (im Riad sonst: Roch es sehr gut) - Es hat sehr wenig Steckdosen im Zimmer und nur eine beim Bett - Persönlichkeit der Besitzerin mag man - oder eben nicht. Sie ist sicherlich nett und bemüht, aber auch sehr bestimmend und arrogant. Wir wollten von ihr ein paar Insider-Tipps zu unserer Tour durch die Medina & den Sehenswürdigkeiten, da hatte sie uns ein Reiseführer vorgelegt und gesagt, dass wir das hier im Buch nachlesen sollen. - Frühstück war nicht so toll, wir mussten anschliessend nochmals auswärts frühstücken gehen.

The location was perfect - only a few minutes' walk from the medina, but away from the congestion and crowds. Hadia, Youssef, and Salma were all very pleasant and helpful. And when issues came up, they were resolved promptly.

Some improvements could be made to the door lock and shower head. The dinner we had was tasty and undoubtedly homemade, but expensive compared to restaurants nearby.

O locatie pozitionata foarte bine, intr-o zona a Medinei cu preturi mai mici decat zona Portii Albastre. Interior frumos decorat, mancare buna, aer conditionat in camera. Terasa foarte frumoasa. Acces la drum principal si la taxiuri. Discutati despre orice problema cu dra Hadia- proprietarul acestui imobil, o domnisoara foarte receptiva, frumoasa si deschisa la solicitarile clientilor. Un loc cald si primitor, cu o frumusete interioara specifica.

Aceste aspecte pe care le evidentiez nu sunt doar pentru acest riad, ci reprezinta un mod comun de prezentare in Maroc. Indiferent de oras, fie ca este un riad sau un dar, toate camerele au usa si ferestrele spre interior. Posibil sa va deranjeze zgomotul facut de clienti, dar aceasta este modalitatea de construire a celor doua tipuri de case traditionale. Un alt aspect intalnit la riaduri, indiferent de oras, este acela ca nu au decat sampon si gel de dus, fara a avea sapun. Stiu ca dra Hadia va tine cont de acest aspect si va avea deschiderea necesara inaintea altor proprietari de riaduri, astfel incat baia sa fie dotata cu sapun- lichid sau solid.

Stupenda struttura di importanza storica, con arredamenti bellissimi. Terrazza super! Posizione perfetta per visitare la Medina, atmosfera rilassante e accoglienza di Hadia e dei suoi mici più che impeccabile! Tutti molto gentili e colazione buonissima. Grazie mille per l’esperienza! Molto fortunati i turisti che potranno soggiornare qui!

Lovely property! Conveniently located. Good stay for our family of 5 (3small children).

Location location location..I was traveling with 2 small kids. It was super convenient with transport, shops with basic amenities, Also the souq close to this place with show your the real the fez than super tourist blue gate one.

The space was quite tight, though likely comparable to other riads in Fez. Overall, the stay was fine, but we did experience some difficulty with the payment process. Before arriving, I asked several times whether card payment was accepted and was told that it was. However, upon check-in, we were informed that the card machine was not working and that payment was expected in cash. This happened late at night while traveling with kids, which made the situation a bit stressful. The total amount was quite large, especially on top of the cash we were already carrying for daily expenses. We had to find ATMs and withdraw the maximum allowed amounts from both my wife’s and my debit cards, which also involved high withdrawal fees. Even then, we had to manage the remaining payments over the course of the stay, which was somewhat distracting. For future travelers, especially those from Western countries who may not be accustomed to carrying large amounts of cash, it may be helpful to confirm payment arrangements very clearly in advance and plan accordingly. All other riads we stayed at accepted card payments, so this experience was a bit unexpected.

Accueil chaleureux, on se sent tout de suite comme à la maison. Personnel disponible et discret. Un riad authentique haut en couleurs situé à proximité des lieux emblématiques de l’ancien Fes.

La amabilidad de sus anfitriones, fueron muy amables durante toda nuestra estadía. La comida exquisita, y la terraza tiene unas vistas increíbles para disfrutar al atardecer y comer algo allí.

Mon expérience dans ce riad a été tout simplement extraordinaire. L’endroit est superbe, décoré avec beaucoup de goût dans un style traditionnel qui crée une ambiance chaleureuse et authentique. Les chambres sont propres, bien entretenues et très confortables. La propriétaire est vraiment adorable : accueillante, souriante et toujours prête à aider. Son sens de l’hospitalité rend le séjour encore plus agréable. Le service est impeccable et tout est fait pour que les clients se sentent bien. Franchement, c’est un riad qui mérite une excellente note. Je le recommande vivement à tous ceux qui cherchent un séjour paisible et de qualité.

Es war ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt, obwohl er kurz war. Das Beste an diesem Hotel war das Personal; alle waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, insbesondere die beiden Damen an der Rezeption, die sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit waren. Ich kann das Hotel nur empfehlen.

La proximité avec la ville

J’ai trouvé la chambre très moyenne : sombre il manquait des petites serviettes, le miroir de la salle de bains était trop bas, la chambre ne se ferme pas à clés et le petit déjeuner était correct mais sans plus. Le café trop léger et c’était une tasse pas plus. La patronne était gentille mais on va dire que c’était à la bonne franquette. J’ai connu mieux comme Ryad sur Fes tant au niveau de l’accueil que du confort.

We had a very warm welcome, very friendly owner and the personal was always taking care of us, explaining about the Medina and giving us good recomendations about highlights in Fes. It is a very nice Riad with a nice atmosphere, they served traditional breakfast. Easy to reach, as it is located on the outskirts of the Medina.

There are two cats in the common area.

Hadia, disponible et Pro lors de nos échanges avant, nous a accueilli tout soirire sur le pas de sa maison. Riad familial entièrement rénové avec goût, on s'y sent chez soi rapidement, goûtant le thé-gateau de bienvenue, les yeux découvrent l'éventail des traditions architecturales et les matériaux qui signent les riads authentiques. Bien situé proche du Palais Royal, de Bab Boujloud (porte bleue) qui permet de visiter les souks en descendant, le calme règne malgré le tumulte de la ville. La vaste terrasse comprend plusieurs salons et offre une belle vue. Merci à Samir pour son service et son très bon relationnel, merci Hadia bien sûr, l'âme de ce riad qui honore l'expérience vécue à Fes. Je reviendrai Inchallah

Grande simplicité des des propriétaires et les gens de service , de suite se sentir comme à la maison avec le prestige décor en plus et deux chats adorable . De trouver encore des maisons qui nous propose une certaine paix intérieure et.des livres un peu partout et bannir la télévision .

Our stay at Riad Hadia was wonderful. I was with my small family, and we felt truly at home thanks to the warm and welcoming host. Everything was beautiful and the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended!

Honestly, this was the best stay we had in Fes. Everything felt so thoughtful and real—from the peaceful art setup to the guided tour full of insight and heart. Dinner was delicious, and the whole vibe just felt like home. A huge thank you to Mohammed—you brought so much warmth, kindness, and calm to the whole experience. You really made it special. We’re leaving with full hearts and big smiles.

I had a very disappointing experience at this riad. The service was unprofessional, and the staff was not welcoming or helpful. Communication was difficult, and my concerns were not taken seriously. The room was not as clean as expected, with noticeable dust and an unpleasant smell. The bathroom also had issues, and it didn’t feel properly maintained. For the price, I expected much better conditions. Additionally, the management was not responsive when I faced problems during my stay. I do not recommend this riad based on my experience. There are many better options in Fez.

Very beautiful and opulent Riad; worth the stay just for that. Close to the Medina. Staff were great; they also organised a little party for new year's eve.

Quite cold (acknowledging it was mid-winter) and, the day we were leaving, hot water was not on. They planned to fix it but we were leaving early before the hot water got fixed.

Beautiful riad located on the outer edge of the old medina. Staff were lovely, room comfortable and beautifully decorated. Included breakfast was generous and delicious. Great roof top terrace which was a great place for us to relax and play with the kids. We parked our car in secure parking a short walk from the riad 40dh/24hr.

Located next to main road. The top bedroom of the family room faces this road and there is noticeable noise until 12-1am. The noise was less noticeable in the room with the 2 single beds.

We had a wonderful stay! The location of this riad is perfect - a 4 min walk to the Medina (old city) but situated on a main road making it easy to find taxis and move around. Breakfast was great and Aziz the manager was a STAR! He was helpful and made our stay easy and comfortable. The rooftop terrace is a plus!

No windows in the room, so it gets stuffy. But all riads are like this.

Only the breakfast is OK, other are unacceptable, I will not recommend this Riad to tourist.

We have stay 2 nights in this Riad, but both nights the Riad owner has dinner banquet invited guest and singer to do performance till 10:45 pm at 1st night and the 2nd night is till 11:30 pm. The singers use the mic to sing a song till late night which is very annoyance for tourist as voice is very loundly as well as we don't know what they are singing which it is not enjoyable, in opposite, it is a big noise. After a full day sightseeing and walking we need to take rest but the song/noise can't let us to take rest or sleeping. I don't why the house owner would arrange a dinner banquet while she has booking by tourist guest for staying at her Riad and let the singer to sing till late night. It is irresponsibility. Another irresponsibility thing is that my friend left a hat at her Riad, she found it and said that will arrange to delivery to Casablanca bus station to let us pick-up. After three days later, we went to Casablanca Bus Station but no one knew that a hat will be delivered to there from Fes. I sent message to her at Bus Station but she did not reply. After the fourth day of her message she replied to us but we are going back to HK, she sent a message to us and said that she was busy and asked us to pick-up the hat at her Riad (Fes). She is not a reliable person and we would not recommend tourist to stay there.

Fabulous riad in really great location just outside Medina. Food was amazing (best tagine we had). Hadia made us very welcome, felt like home.

Our stay at Dar Hadia was amazing. They treated us like family, we ate the best food we have had in Morocco. The whole team and Hadia are wonderful people, they made us feel comfortable and they were always available. Eberything was super clean in the Riad... everything was perfect. We hope to be back very soon!

Exceptional Home away from home with great vibes. The Raid is beautiful. The location is fantastic, right in Medina (old city The Riad has a lovely roof terrace so you can see the sunset over Fes without having to walk anywhere . Very Clean. Comfortable and spacious room. Breakfast and dinner was amazing. The chef hayat made better food than my mum! The staff are very friendly and will help you with anything you need. They want you to have a great stay in Fes. really it was a pleasant stay A special mention to Hadia, she made my stay so much more enjoyable!
