It was perfect

El personal es muy atento y cordial. El lugar es muy básico pero es algo normal de la zona. Falta que se ofrezca el desayuno lo cual hubiera facilitado mi estancia para salir temprano hacia las actividades de trabajo que tenía.

Que no tuviera desayuno y que tuviera que desplazarme a otro lado.

Un lugar bien situado, delante mismo de la playa. Una pareja encantadora gestiona el hotel. Pepe nos organizó un tour en barca memorable.

Solo un detalle menir, nevera algo ruidosa.

The ocean view is stunning. It’s great to have a balcony and shared outdoor spaces to enjoy it in a calm and relaxing environment. The hotel offers whales tour in the Magdalena Bay, and that’s the best choice we could make. Captain Pepe is passionate and professional, and he brought us to the unforgettable adventure of seeing grey whales, dolphins and sea lions. I would totally recommend it!

We made a whale tour with Pepe, he and his wife were amazing and we had a wonderful day on he boot, I highly recommend their hotel and the tour

Ein super Familienbetrieb der auch das Whalewatching anbietet. Die Frau führt die Unterkunft und "Pepe" der Mann ist der Guide beim Whalewatching. MEGA!!! Ich kann es nur jedem Empfehlen!

La ubicación y vistas al mar

Die Lage war sehr gut, direkt an der Lagune. Freundlicher und sehr zuvorkommender Service. Das Zimmer mit einer gemütlichen Veranda und nebenan eine schönen Hotelbar mit der Möglichkeit einen tollen Sonnenuntergang zu genießen.

A great place to stay and enjoy the ocean and sunset. We only stayed a night but loved Magdalena Bay.

Nette saubere Unterkunft mit Ambiente. Familiengeführtes Hotel mit nettem Personal. Die Eigentümer kennen die Bay in und auswendig und haben ein grosses Wissen.

El alojamiento muy comodo. Las excursiones que ofrece el mismo hotel super recomendable, hemos hecho un safari con ellos y ha sido de las mejores experiencias de nuestra vida!!

La ducha no tiene casi presion

La chambre moderne, le lit King très confortable, la cuisine sympathique (j’ai souper à la langouste). Mais LE plus magnifique est la sortie aux baleines. Même si nous étions tard en saison, le capitaine Pépé connaît sa baie et nous avons vu de très près, dans le respect des animaux et le silence, des baleines grises (j’ai même respiré 2 fois le jet d’air d’une baleine grise! WoW ! Ça vaut la route d’une durée de 6 heures à partir de San José del Cabo). Nous sommes aussi allés sur le pacifique où nous avons aussi vu de près le plus gros animal de la planète : des baleines bleues. Nous recommandons fortement à tous!

Qu’il n’y ait pas de moustiquaire à la porte-patio. Nous aurions préféré dormir la porte patio ouverte plutôt qu’à l’air climatisée.

Ubytování je super na přespání, když jedete brzy ráno na výlet na moře. Určitě bychom na 100 % doporučili zakoupit si zde výlet. Cena je fajn, zážitek úžasný. Náš pan kapitán dělal vše pro to, abychom si užili den. Viděli jsme lachtany, spoustu velryb šedých a dokonce i modrou velrybu! Vzal nás na oběd na ostrov Magdalena a poté na nádherné písečné duny, toto místo bylo jedno z nejkrásnějších, jaké jsme kdy viděli. Byl to opravdu zážitek. Vedou to tu milí lidé a mluví anglicky, což je super, protože bohužel neumíme španělsky.

Sehr saubere und preisgünstige Unterkunft direkt am Wasser. Die über die Hotelinhaber gebuchte Waltour war einmalig und sehr gut organisiert. 100% Weiterempfehlung.

Lage sehr schön direkt am Strand der Bahia Mgdalena, toller Blick, Strandwalk. Hotel ist auch Anbieter von Exkursionen in die Bahia, diese sehr lohnend.

Whale tour with Pepe

Tolles kleines Hotel direkt am Strand mit sehr netten Besitzern. Die vom Hotel Angebote Waltour war super! Im Hotel kann man gut frühstücken und auch zu Abend essen. Direkt am Strand (nicht zum Baden) aber mit tollen Sonneuntergängen.

Eine sehr weiche Matratze

Gute, günstige Unterkunft mit allem was man braucht mit super nettem Personal. Bester Ausgangspunkt zum Whale Watching.

Das Dorf darum herum ist nicht sonderlich gastlich.

Super Lage, bequeme Betten, sehr freundliches Personal

Sehr nette Gastgeberin und eine außergewöhnliche Grauwaltour mit einem ebenso sympathischen Pepe. Zimmer Nr. 1ist hell und hat zusätzlich einen Balkon mit Blick auf die Bay. Zimmer 2 bis 4 mangels eines zweiten Fenster etwas dunkel. Insgesamt aberein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und ein gutes Frühstück

Der Ort San Carlos selbst ist wenig einladend. Dies gilt auch für Strand und Umgebung. Dies wird aber mit der grandiosen Bay und der angebotenen Tour mehr als ausgeglichen.

Wir hatten Zimmer Nr. 2 mit Blick auf die Bay und einer Terasse davor. Dort sitzt es sich herrlich. Unser Zimmer hatte 2 bequeme Betten. Das Personal war sehr nett. Wir haben auch eine Walbeobachtungstour über das Hotel gebucht, welche wir sehr empfehlen können. Es gibt auch ein kleines Restaurant, in denen man Abends eine kleine Menüauswahl hat. Das Essen war zwar einfach aber frisch zubereitet und seeeehr lecker (ca. 120 - 150 MXN).

Generically a nice place to stay for whale watching, whale watching itself was great.

Our room was quite hidden and even if it was described as deluxe room, that is not how I would describe it. Everything was functional to do whale watching, not necessarily a place I would stay without going for whale watching.

Wunderbare Lage, vollkommen sauber, tolle Dusche, sehr freundliche Besitzerin, bieten tolle Waltouren an, alles in allem sehr gut. Wir fahren nochmal hin.

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Meer. Die Touren beginnen direkt vom Hotel in dem man in das Boot direkt einsteigt - tolle Sache! Das Inhaberpaar lebt für Ihr Hotel und Ihre Ausflüge - und das merkt man sehr positiv! Frühstück und Abendbrot sowie Getränke sind verfügbar, sehr gut und preislich angemessen!

Rooms were very clean, well decorated and had everything we needed. Also beautiful views of the ocean.

Pepe y Jacibe nos trataron super bien, muy cercanos, la excursión con Pepe es increíble y la adapta a las personas, sus preferencias y a las circunstancias del día. La comida del restaurante muy buena y puedes encargar el lunch aunque al mediodía no tienen abierto.

Que no tuviese cortina opaca, había un foco de otra habitación que nos daba en la cara.

Me encantó la tranquilidad que se siente en el hotel y la amabilidad del personal. Además estaba muy limpio y la cama muy rica.

Hierher kommt man wegen der tollen Waltour die Pepe mit seinem Boot mit seinen Gästen macht. Die Tour ist spektakulär! Man lernt so viel über die Wale und Umgebung, man hat fast eine Walgarantie und dabei werden aber auch die Tiere respektvoll behandelt. Die Tour startet um 7 Uhr und dauert 6 Studnen, wir haben viele Wale, Delfine, Rochen, Schildkröten und viele Vögel gesehen. Danke für diese tolle Tour, die du mit uns gemacht hast!! Pepe und seine Familie sind sehr nett und sprechen sehr gut Englisch. Die Unterkunft ist zweckmäßig und sauber und hat einen schönen Blick aufs Meer. Frühstücken konnte man gegen Bezahlung vor Ort, zum Abendessen können wir El Tiburon de san Carlos empfehle. Super frischen Fisch!

Der Ort gibt nicht viel her. Als wir da waren, war praktisch alles geschlossen. Das Meer vor dem Haus eignet sich nicht zum Baden, das war mir nicht so klar.

Das Personal war super freundlich, Frühstück war sehr lecker und die Zimmer waren sehr sauber. Die Whalewatching Tour die wir über das Hotel gebucht haben war wirklich super.

Der Service war unglaublich nett und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer waren sauber und besser als in der Beschreibung. Das Hotel befindet sich direkt am Wasser. Es ist ein Restaurant vorhanden. Wir haben eine Tour über das Hotel gebucht, was reibungslos verlief und zu empfehlen ist.

Very clean and spacious family-run hotel to stay for whale watching.

Very nice place in front of the beach and the lagoon. The room had everything we needed, the terrace was very nice. Puerto San Carlos doesn't have much to offer, we went there for the grey whales. We did a private tour with the hotel (with Pepe) and it was amazing, we highly reccomend it! We spent the day on the water with the whales, an experience we'll never forget. There's the sweetest little dog, she likes to cuddle.

The only downside was the breakfast, we found it way too expensive (8€ per person) for Puerto San Carlos and what was offered, and the prices weren't written anywhere.

The owners are great. Room was clean and the shower was the best I’ve had in the baja. The people who own this hotel are friendly and accommodating. My husband and I did a private tour, fishing in the mangroves +whale watching, both parts were fantastic. I highly recommend staying here. We will be back.

Location is ideal for whale watching tours. Room was small but very clean, tiniest fridge I've ever seen and a small TV w streaming. The most amazing sunrise and sunsets, glorious! Breakfast is excellent, for an additional nominal fee. Be prepared for a very uncomfortable spring mattress. No heat, but found out the next day there are space heaters available which would have been good to know at check-in. Dogs barking and roosters crowing so a little noisy at times. They supplied a couple bottles of water which was nice. Staff is wonderful and the grey whale tour was beyond our expectations!! Right on the water but too cold this time of year to enjoy. Area is remote and safe. Must have a car. Had the best local dinner and service at Fonda El Fogón, 2 minutes away! Absolutely loved them and will return. It was fine for 1 night.

The beds were extremely soft, you sink in like a hole and feel the metal springs. Terribly uncomfortable.

Some small issues - sink in bathroom only worked with cold water but shower was perfect and hot . No TV in our room but that was ok for us.

This why by far the best option in town. The town is very small just so you know, don’t expect much. The host here was so kind and nice. I highly recommend the place. Host spoke English and was attentive to little things we asked for. If I came back to the area I’d stay here for sure

The staff at the hotel were absolutely delightful, helpful and friendly. Jacibe helped us with great restaurant recommendations, and directions, both nights we stayed there. We felt very much at home.

most comfortable bed in the world!! its a familyrun business and everyone is super nice, nice view to the ocean and san carlos is a reall cute lil town if you wanna experience the real mexico :)

We stayed in the San Carlos' fishing community for 1 night. The place is a bit remote and not a usual Baja tourist hot spot. If you are looking for nature and peace without frills, this is the place to be. The room was simple and very clean, with a little patio in front of it. Brekfast was also simple but perfect. We went on a whale watching tour with Pepe and it was a marvelous day! Grey whales were so close that we could almost touch them. Pepe is a very responsible and knowledgeable captain, respectful of the whales' environment and space. I truly appreciate the fact that he's not assaulting whales just to make tourists happy. We are guests in their environment and must respect them. Pepe is the perfect captain to make sure your tour is as sustainable as it should be. Totally recommended ❤ Thabk you Pepe!
