オーナーご夫婦が日本滞在歴があり、日本語が話せます。予約後すぐにwhatsappで連絡が来て、オラウータンのツアーの事など聞かれスムーズで良かったです。この辺りのオラウータンツアーは一律金額のようでどこが安いとかは無さそう。ひとり旅でLocalバスと電車で向かった際、バスの捕まえ方や乗り継ぎについてもしっかりサポートしてくれました。2ヶ月のインドネシア滞在なので、他の知りたいことも教えてもらい、旅のスタートでの滞在は最高でした。一番の目的のオラウータンも9体見れました。

特にないけど、シャワーのお湯は出ないです。でも冷たくはないし気温が高いので気にはならなかったです。

Rosa is very nice and provided us with a great trekking tour. The bed is comfortable and location very central and close to the river, restaurants and supermarkets. Good value for the price. We enjoyed our stay!

The room was very hot. A sauna during the day and still very warm at night.

Le logement est très correct pour le prix, c’est simple mais pour dormir il a tout ce qu’il faut. Un grand merci à Rosa pour son accueil, sa gentillesse et sa disponibilité! J’ai fait trek de 2 jours et 1 nuit avec eux, durant lequel nous avons vu beaucoup d’orang outangs 😊 Un grand merci à notre guide Nasip, « papa royal » qui nous a bien rappelé de toujours sourire pour ramener les orangs outangs! Les repas sont très bons et le guide s’adapte aux envies du groupe : on peut continuer à marcher plus profond dans la jungle ou juste se reposer pour profiter du camp et se baigner Une aventure exceptionnelle que je recommande totalement 👍

Jungle tour was great, Rosa and Martin were very accomodating

The owner, Rosa, is very nice and welcoming. She made her best to make me feel at home. Talking about the room, what you get for the price is great value. The trekking was amazing, we saw many orangutans and monkeys and our guides, Hussein and Nassim, were very professional and helpful. The food on the trekking was incredible. If you are looking for a very cheap accommodation and friendly staff, that’s your place.

La relación calidad precio es correcta respecto al hospedaje. Es muy económico y es lo que tienes. Martin siempre estuvo disponible para ayudarme, resolver dudas e incluso llevarme al pueblo a hacer compras. El tour fue increible, una tremenda experiencia. El guía muy preocupado de que viéramos orangutanes. Grupo pequeño.

La habitación da directo a la calle y es muy ruidosa, no hay preocupación por cuidar el silencio para comodidad de los huéspedes. El baño, si bien limpio, personalmente no me pareció cómodo. No hay lavamanos en la habitación. La travesía por la selva fue maravillosa en si misma pero se agradecería que el guía complementara con mayor información de las especies animales y vegetales que sorprenden a los turistas en el camino.

Omg,,, this has been one of my favorite places I've stayed along my travels❣️ as a solo traveler the price has allowed me to focus my funds more to activity like hiking in the jungle for many days experiencing the wildlife with the guides Nagoya provides Poda and Nassip who have become friends over my 3 week stay here,,,They really made the trip fun allowing us to hike at our own pace n doing thier best to lead us in direction of wildlife which we saw alot of as well as making down time in the night full of laughter with thier jungle magic tricks and playing guitar with us which we had brought along ,,I wish I could stay forever 🤓 it doesn't have air conditioning but it is very clean n provides fans and mosquito nets which have proved to be all I needed ,,, I think it's perfect for backpackers looking to have a good time on a smaller budget:)

Hands down the best stay I’ve had my 3 month trip. The room was clean and the location in Bukit Lawang is perfect. However, it’s the staff that truly makes this place shine. They made me feel so welcome and safe throughout my stay. Special thanks to the owner Martin, guide Naseb and staff Domique, Voda and Rantau for their amazing hospitality and kindness. I would come back in a heartbeat! ​I also did the jungle trekking with them and I highly recommend it to everyone! It was an amazing, experience with a very enthusiastic guide, Naseb, who really listens to your personal wishes and needs and does everything to make you happy.

Very cheap. Still had private room with own bathroom. Bed had a mosquito net. Centrally located. Owner friendly and helped with organizing jungle trek. After coming back I could use a room to shower, reorganize my stuff. Also setup a transport for me to the airport.

Reception is often empty. But if you ask, they will come and help you with your question or issue.

Location was really well, we booked the jungle trekking with them which was really good. The owner was really helpfull in arranging everything, picking us op from the bus terminal and explaining about the local transport when we wanted to get back to Medan.

Had a fantastic stay here the night before and the night after a jungle trek. I turned up in town and Martin and Josh helped me to book a trek the next day. Even though I had issues with my card they were very patient and kind, and helped with everything including a motorbike lift to the ATM. The jungle trek guide I had was Rizaldo, who was the best guide ever! He was very funny, kind, generous, informative and professional. If you can, try to book with him for your trek! Although every guide I met in the jungle and in town was super lovely, so I dont think you can wrong.

I had the best time at Ustin Nagoya. Martin was brilliant at organising transport and tours. Everybody was very warm and friendly. My guide for the trekking couldn’t have been more knowledgeable and tailored everything to my interests and needs. I spent many hours following and watching orangutans and enjoying many other animals, trees and plants. Would highly recommend!!

Unvergessliches 3-Tage-/2-Nächte-Trekking in Bukit Lawang Wir hatten ein absolut geniales Dschungel-Erlebnis in Bukit Lawang! Die Unterkunft im Ustin Nagoya Hotel war top – der Inhaber Martin ist extrem freundlich, hilfsbereit und herzlich. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Unser Guide Papa Royale und sein Begleiter Hari wissen genau, was sie im Dschungel tun. Super erfahren, aufmerksam und gleichzeitig entspannt – man merkt sofort, dass sie den Regenwald und seine Tiere respektieren und lieben. Die Verpflegung und die Unterkunft während des Trekkings waren herausragend – besser hätte man es sich mitten im Dschungel kaum vorstellen können. Wir haben viele Orang-Utans sowie weitere Wildtiere in freier Natur gesehen – ein echtes Highlight! Der Rückweg per Fluss-Rafting war das perfekte Finale: mega spaßig, wunderschöne Landschaft und einfach nur cool. 👉 Absolute Empfehlung! Würde ich jederzeit wieder machen und kann es jedem nur ans Herz legen, der Bukit Lawang wirklich erleben will.

Organisation au top, on est venus me chercher à l’arrivée du bus, puis je me suis laisser porter par l’énergie des hôtes ! Je recommande ! J’ai fait le trek de 3 jours 2 nuits avec Ponidi, qui a été un super guide.

The owner's attention to detail, adapting to the guests' needs, was excellent. We got a great deal on the price of the stay and the jungle tour. I highly recommend it... The guide papa Royal is a great guide!

Everything has been spectacular, I highly recommend it.

I loved the hiking trip through the jungle (booked in the hotel), but I defnietly would recommend to take gloves with you, because the end of the 1 day hike is more like climbing than hiking. Martin the owner was also really friendly and organized me some flipflops.

One woman of the neighborhood was singing karaoke very loud and often. It was quite ok, but sometimes a little bit disturbing when you want to go to sleep.

Double bed and private bathroom and very cheap. 1 min to river. Best budget stay for the price.

No social area. Could repaint the rooms.

Grat place, staff and facilities. Full solution from Airport till Lake Toba, really worth it. Both the transport (safe and on time) and trekking services were superstandard. Chief Guide Nasir et al really helpful, informative, entertaining who also considered the special situations of some customers.

宿泊料金がとても安いです（ツアー参加が前提で）。ツアー代はブキッラワンでの定価どおりですので、割高ではありません。宿の設備自体はいわゆるバックパッカー宿のレベルですが、個室でシャワーとトイレがついていて、清掃は行き届いていますので、バックパッカー経験者なら全く問題ないです。シャワーは水ですが、私の訪問したシーズンは水がぬるくて寒くはなかったです。ツアーは、ブキッラワンでのオランウータンツアーはもちろんですが、バトゥカタクで珍しい花を見るツアーもおすすめです。花はいつも咲いているわけではないので、オーナーが花が咲いていると情報をくれたら、ぜひ行ってみてください。バトゥカタクではガイドのケトさんがとてもよかったです。オーナーは日本語ができ、空港から宿への行き方や、宿についてからも夕食に案内してくれるなど、何かと世話を焼いてくれますので、頼った方がいいです。

Martin and his staff were extremely warm and welcoming. I ended up having all my meals there and boy was I in for a treat. We went out and did some karaoke and a whole list of activities. There was a guide for each adventure. His guides are good and happy people.

I stayed for a month and know it was strange for them to have someone stay that long so it did get a little icky in the atmosphere, but nothing bad happened. I had a great time there and would go again. Very cosy.

Die Unterkunft ist sauber und basic, Doppelbett inklusive Mosquitonetz, Ventiltor, Dusche und Plumsklo im selben Raum. Personal spricht englisch und ist bemüht, falls anwesend. Das Trekking wurde ebenfalls von der Unterkunft organisiert und war super. Unser Guide (Papa Royal) war flexibel und hat sich uns angepasst. Wir haben 10+ Orang-Utans entdeckt und konnte immer lange zusehen/fotografieren. Verpflegung war ausgezeichnet und die Unterkunft im Jungle war entsprechend basic und sauber.

Es gab draußen zwar eine kleine Sitzecke, die war aber leider oft von den Inhabern selbst belegt und die Gasse ist befahren (teils von Mopeds, relativ laut bis in die Nacht) also ensprechend der Lärm.

We were welcomed with a juice and a chat with the owner and the guide. Room was very clean. Very well located. We did a trek in the jungle with the hotel. The 2 guides, Dedek and Nasseb (Papa Royal) were great. They know there way in the jungle, they are kind and helpful and funny! We saw a lot of monkeys, orang-outans birds and varans,and we spent the afternoon and the night by the river where they fed us delicious food! The cook on the camp is very talented. We recommend this hotel and the jungle trek.

Guesthouse was in the centre of Bukit Lawang and easy to find. If I had a question it was always quickly resolved. The wallpaper of the room was very uplifting. For example the bathroom had a dolphin wallpaper.

The property was located in a great part of Bukit Lawang and the owner and the staff were very nice and accommodating, quick to arrange anything and help with anything. The room itself was quite good, the bathroom clean. I also did a tour organised by the staff and it was amazing - did only 1 day and saw so many orangutans, we got fresh fruit and lunch and all together it was a wonderful experience!

Noisy area so bring ear plugs!

We did a 2 day, 1 night tour with them. The guide Jos and Holand were great! Jos really made an effort to show us a lot of animals and has a lot of knowledge. The trekking was a real adventure!

Welcoming host who showed me around the area and took me out for lunch and karaoke, fun jungle tour, big room, convenient location.

Can be noisy sometimes as it's central location.

Clean and cheap. They gave me a free pickup from the terminal.

The ac in the room didn't work while the room could get very hot during the day. It's a place to sleep after the tour rather than to relax during the day. The 1-day trekking was 70 euros which is not cheap. All the (official) trekking guides have the same price though (before discount)

Fast and easy check-in Big room with private bathroom and towel provided They also drove me to the local bus station after checking out so :-) They offered me straight away after booking the trekking tour options because I arrived late and didn't booked online. BE CAREFUL > Don't book with any stranger locals welcoming you in the village and just with the staff from this hotel please!

It was great value for money, the beds were super comfortable and the location is great. Right next to a restaurant with very cheap food! They helped us organise a 3 day tour in the Jungle with Jos, we had the best time and couldn’t recommend it more!

It was noisy at night time however we had ear plugs so it was fine!

The room was comfortable but it was very noisy outside. It's not the hotel's fault, but if you're looking for quiet place, this isn't the right place.
