One bedroom budget condo in BGC

I really liked the convenience and proximity of local amenities.

nothing was bad in this condo! we enjoyed every bit of it

it's close to the heart of BGC, very convenient.

Location

Elevators in the building were not working. Had one elevator for all the floors

The place was nice, the view was great. The location safe and very walkable

Water and electricity cut out occasionally and the one elevator was very slow

I found the whole self check in and check out very convenient. The communication I had with the agent was excellent. Despite being in a very built up area, the apartment does have a nice city view. The size of the apartment was also very much larger than expected. The lobby staff were also awesome.

Pity the lifts were either out of action or buttons not working. Skipping floors and not stopping.

Pulizia scarsa, bagno angusto con soli 2 teli doccia senza altra biancheria da bagno. In definitiva passabile per una sola notte visto il prezzo bassissimo, non di più.

The location was great. The owner was very kind and the check in was smooth. However, the place is okay to stay 1-2 nights only. The reason I'm writing this review is because the rating of this property is higher than what it deserves and many things should be improved to avoid disappointment with high expectations.

The photos don't match with the current state of the apartment. The blinds of one of the big windows couldn't be open while the second one was so dirty that we couldn't enjoy the view. We found a dead roach on the floor as soon as we got into the apartment, the landlord informed us one day before that the products on the walls were for pest control. It seems to be a common problem that they are trying to fix. The shower has low pressure and it's hard to adjust the temperature. The bathroom is very hot, humid and with mold. Overall, the place was okay if you're spending your time outside, but is not the most comfortable to spend time there.

L’appartement est très, très fatigué. Il a clairement besoin d’un coup de frais en urgence. Nous étions prévenus qu’il s’agissait d’un logement ancien, mais ancien ne veut pas dire négligé ou mal entretenu, ce qui était malheureusement le cas ici. Par exemple, le robinet ne tient pas, la poignée de la douche est défectueuse, etc. Un important travail de rafraîchissement et d’entretien est nécessaire.

Good location and price for the BGC area. Nice view. The unit is very spacious. Bed is comfortable, we slept well. We didn’t cook but the kitchen looked well-equipped.

Unfortunately, there were a number of issues: - Despite following the instructions for the heater, the hot water wasn’t working so we had to have a cold shower - since we were staying just one night, we just got on with it, but it would have been uncomfortable if staying longer. - Barely any toilet paper was provided, which I think is quite a basic thing to provide. - Reception won’t store your luggage if you arrive before check-in time, it was very inconvenient to take a taxi and spend more time and money finding a locker. So if you’re going to arrive before check-in time or need to stay after check-out time, don’t rely on being able to leave your luggage at reception. - Not a fault of the host, but there was only one lift working when we were there. It is a very tall building with a lot of apartments, so this meant we had to wait 10 minutes or so every time we had to take the lift. - Again, not a fault of the host, but since it is a busy, big building, there were quite a few baby cockroaches around. We know that the cleaner does what they can to deal with it, but future guests should be aware that roaches aren’t uncommon here.

Poor maintenance - tiny roaches spotted at the kitchen sink. We stayed in Tower C - Only 1 lift was operating going up. 1 lift lited by emergency lighting was for going down only. Shower water pressure was low and we can’t get the hot water on. Washroom faucet was loose. Windows were dusty. Details for check in was provided only a day before check in with a caution that it is a budget condo and to cancel our stay if it doesn’t meet our expectations. Lobby wait area has poor air conditioning.

. It would be nice if they had blackout curtains.

Too bright at night and early morning. Noisy furnitures. Stinky couch. Cockroaches in the kitchen. No netflix account.

Very earnest honest and considerate host. They are very upfront.Just a reminder for people to manage their expectations. It has a great location for a great price!

Great stay! Location was fantastic and the room had a great view. It's a spacious duplex so you have to go up stairs to go to the bedroom/bathroom.

The water pressure was a little low. Apart from that, nothing to note here.

Location is fantastic and convenient. Owner is fast in responding to our complaints and tried their best to resolve.

The shower water pressure is very low and as best it can be according to the owner, nothing much can be done about it. We didn’t know the building was quite old until a day before the check-in when we got the check-in details. And the listing didn’t mention that there were no amenities provided. Would have been good if the description of the property is more specific as we did not book this under Airbnb, most accommodation would have included the amenities. We arrived late so we could only go get some the next day. Bed is hard and pillows are too low. I guess it is the best in that area given the budget price, so don’t expect too high.

The location is amazing, everything is in walking distance. If you want coffee, restaurants ,or 7/11 everything is around the corner. Note: This is a budget stay ,you have to be a little bit flexible example water pressure might not be to your standard from where your coming from ,but you can still get hot water etc

i wasnt luck enough the neighbor next door is doing construction , so it was always loud during the day on my stay. This is out of control for the owner since the walls are not sound proof.

The location was convenient and short walking distance to the tourist area. The apartment was clean and simple. The shower was good, all kitchen utensils were available for our convenience. The city view from the apartment was beautiful especially in the evening.

Facilities are great. Location is even better.

Our stay at the place was incredible! The home was spotless, stylish, and equipped with everything we needed. The location was ideal—quiet yet close to all the local attractions. The host was a fantastic, quick to respond and full of great tips. It made our trip unforgettable. We highly recommend this place and can’t wait to return!

Good location, nice view, spacious, complete facilities

Entire space doesn’t feel clean, sheets smell bad, air conditioning units make unnecessary noises, mosquitoes are everywhere, shower heater isn’t user-friendly, shower has poor water pressure

Since we booked the unit for work, location is perfect as it is close to our offices, restaurants and convenience stores. We did not do any cooking but the unit had complete facilities for refrigeration, light cooking and heating food. Bathroom was spacious and we liked that there is an area for working that is separate from where bed is located. Wonderful view of BGC at night whether you are up or down the loft. You definitely get value for money booking this unit and renting their private parking. As for the host, they had been very responsive to our inquiries and we would book this place again if needed.

It would be desirable to have blackout curtains in the bedroom especially for working guests who need to sleep during daytime. The bathroom entrance would be better if the floor edging was not raised or minimally raised. I already tripped twice on the edging (which has same tile color as bathroom floor) and I worry if this happened for the elderly.

The condo had complete facilities like a full kitchen with rice cooker, induction stove, pans and water kettle. It’s located about 10 minutes from High Street and 5 minutes from Forbestown so everything is very quiet at night.

I liked the location and how convenient it was to book.

There wasn't anything I didn't like. I actually wish I could have stayed longer but I had prior obligations.

Location and free parking

Needs some TLC, bathroom faucet water pressure so slow drip drip and shower pressure is low but can clean . Water leak on WC ( wasting water for the owner), lights and remotes not working with weak batt. Have to replaced one with personal batts.

The water in the bathroom could be a lot stronger, and the heater could work better
