Lovely local boozer. Rooms were nice and beds suuuuuper comfy! Basic with bed and tea/cofffee making facilities and tv but for the price what do you want or expect! They didn’t inflate the price like lots of other venues just because there was cricket going on and that goes a long way for me. Decent, hardworking, Friendly people and I thoroughly enjoyed our brief interaction and banter 🤣 Staff and locals are bloody lush fair play! Recommendations for pubs and eateries in the city and cracking brummy hospitality was so much appreciated- thanks guys. Will definitely be back the next time we plan a random night in Birmingham

The overall place was good with a convenient corner store next to it and close proximity to venues as well as being very clean and well stocked. The staff were friendly and helpful

Unfortunately my room had a light pointed kind of directly into the window (it was pointed upwards and on the side of the building, I assume to illuminate a sign but instead illuminated the room) so I couldn’t sleep due to the brightness, even with the blinds closed My friend didn’t find this an issue so it’s not world ending but It wasn’t what I hoped after a long night

Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Room was lovely, clean and a great base for Digbeth. Easy check in and out.

Die Sauberkeit war leider enttäuschend – insbesondere das Bad und der Boden im gesamten Zimmer waren gar nicht sauber. An den Türen und auf dem Boden befanden sich ältere Flecken, die offensichtlich nie gereinigt wurden. ​Wir haben ein Dreibettzimmer gebucht, aber vor Ort war es viel zu klein; zu dritt hatten wir praktisch keinen Platz. Zudem wirkten die Fenster etwas unsicher und es gab keine Rollläden, um den Raum richtig abzudunkeln.

Close to all amenities we required, friendly staff,

One of the worst hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. The bed was broken and the mattress was absolutely terrible. You could feel every spring sticking into your back, making it almost impossible to get a decent night's sleep. The cleanliness was even worse. Everything looked dirty, as if nobody had cleaned the room for months. Dust, stains, and grime were everywhere, and the whole room felt neglected and poorly maintained. For the price paid, this was completely unacceptable. The room was uncomfortable, unhygienic, and in desperate need of proper cleaning and renovation. I would not stay here again and would strongly advise others to look elsewhere.

O quarto estava muito sujo, pedi para limparem no dia que chegamos, mas não limparam! Ficamos 4 noites, mas o lixo não foi recolhido e as toalhas não foram trocadas. As camas eram péssimas! Dava para sentir as molas dos colchões.

Lo que me gustó fue la atención del personal, agradable. Y la ubicación, está a unos 20 minutos andando del centro, bien.

Estaba muy sucia, el calentador de agua lleno de moho, la mesilla y el mando de la televisión llenos de suciedad, el suelo de la habitación y el baño llenos de mugre y de pelos. El colchón se hundía hasta ser muy incómodo. En general, deja bastante que desear respecto a la limpieza. El precio no es acorde a cómo debería estar la habitación.

Taking a photo of your ID on check in and sending it to a WhatsApp group chat is a strange process and is likely a breach of GDPR.

The floor and skirting boards were very dirty, and the bathroom was mouldy. The owner appeared to be drunk when we arrived, and a staff member repeatedly told us that we had to check out by 10:30 at the latest. We did not get the impression that they were very welcoming and felt more like a nuisance than valued guests. Quite distant from the city centre. Beds were broken.

The property was in a good location to everywhere we needed to go . There were x2 shops right opposite and one was open 24/7 ,which was handy . They had a kitchen with all appliances in it which u could use . And a pub downstairs if u wanted a drink and you could bring your drink to your room x

The beds weren’t very comfy ,the bed I was sleeping on the mattress dipped down like the springs had gone ,my legs were in the air so I I had to switch sides and sleep the other end of the bed .

The location was good for an event we were attending in Digbeth, and the pub was nicely done out and clean. The staff we saw were very nice as well.

I thought there was breakfast available but there wasn't-my mistake obvs, but it made it not so good a deal for the price. The shower was not so clean, there were grubby marks on the wall, and also crumbs on the floor. The mattress needs replacing as well, it felt old and battered. At night time there was an awful lot of banging and slamming of doors and raised voices in the outside area just below our window, there are no staff on site in the evenings so that's that.

The staff very friendly, the room is comfortable and the place is in a good location.

Own access, smoking area is nice and clean and plenty places to sit, comes with full access to a kitchen with everything you need.

There is shop just outside the window of the room I stayed in, and attracts a lot of people through the night and they can be very loud as well as the cars they come in.

It is a small quiet pub with the rooms on top but you don't hear any noise in the room.

The inn was clean and tidy with all the facilities needed for a night or two. The beds were comfortable and the staff were very helpful with any information we needed. At the price point I think you get value for money and more. The location was also pretty good only being about a 15 minute walk from the centre.

It could use a little bit more cleaning (dust, mold) and the area is industrial with a lot of conatruction/abbandoned buildings.

El personal fue amable y la relación calidad-precio es aceptable. La ubicación aunque está algo alejada del centro es buena, Digbeth tiene mucha vida nocturna.

Las camas eran muy incómodas (se sienten los alambres y se hunden) y la limpieza de suelo y alguna zona de la habitación podría mejorar.

Nice clean accommodation above a lovely little pub. 20 mins walk to the city centre. Easy check in, great staff. Kitchen available for use with everything you need for a pleasant stay.

Der Fußboden war offensichtlich nicht mal gesaugt/geputzt worden, alle Ecken und Winkel dreckig, besonders schwarze Flecken in der Dusche sind zu nennen (Schimmel?), Bettwäsche war aber sauber. Zweites Bett muss zur Seite geschoben werden, wenn man die Heizung benutzen muss, sehr schlechte Luft im Raum.

Clean beds, toilet, and shower. Spacious enough room. Clean towels provided as well as basic toiletries. Spacious bathroom. Good heating.

Overall cleanliness was the biggest problem. While the bed, toilet, and shower were clean, the rest of the room was really rather dirty. It was clear there was not much attention put into cleaning the room. Additionally the bed had a dip in it which made for a rather uncomfortable sleep.

Établissement bien situé, propre et personnel agréable qui nous a même prêté un adaptateur pour charger nos téléphones. Nous n'étions pas dérangé par du bruit malgré la présence d'un bar en dessous.

El trato del personal fué muy bueno. Hay una cocina comunitaria con lavadora, que aunque no lo usamos es útil. La ducha con agua caliente.

La limpieza inexistente, parecía que no se hacía desde hace tiempo, las camas muy viejas, los colchones te clavaban los resortes. Los días de partido se dificultaba el ingreso ya que para subir a las habitaciones hay que hacerlo por el pub, que es muy hermoso pero muy pequeño y con tanta gente que era casi imposible pasar. Si bien la ubicación no era lejos, para llegar la zona no era linda, sobre todo de noche y al final tuvimos que pedir taxis para ir y volver al centro. Si viajan con niños, busquen otras opciones!

A great family ran pub and hotel, extremely fair priced, and everything is as described. The staff couldn't have been any nicer, clearly detailing everything we needed and ensuring we felt welcome. Very good value for money, if we are ever in the city again we will look here again for sure.

There wasn't a lot we didn't like, the halls can be pretty loud, but this can't be avoided and we travel with ear plugs and eye masks in any case.

Unfortunately it wasn't very clean, so I had to clean some essentials myself (shower head, bathroom sink, toilet seat, bathroom and bedroom window sill to be able to put our toiletries on it and side bed table+ kettle) The bed board on the single bed dropped on the floor as soon as I sat on the bed 🫤

The first security door to exit the premises was extremely difficult to open (possibly the wood had expanded with the unbelievable amount of rain!) The outer security door wouldn't secure properly when I left. The other guests doors shutting in the middle of the night was quite loud - perhaps a foam lining would cushion the noise?

Property was modern and clean. Staff were amazing and friendly. Just a good vibe all round (pub as well lovely) also had a shared kitchenette super worth the price will stay here next time!!

With any city place it’s hard to park and drive too. Closest overnight car park is a good 15 min walk away

Stayed on NYE as I was going to an event close by, perfect location. Room clean with everything needed, and a great pub for a pint or three.

La ubicación estaba bien del Bullring y del centro de la ciudad, era un paseo pero había transporte cercano. No es una zona muy ruidosa pero tampoco silenciosa, había poco ambiente pero no se sentía peligroso. La facilidad de pago, check-in, indicaciones del personal, dejar el equipaje, calefacción en la habitación, acceso al hospedaje por otra puerta diferente al local.

Justo enfrente de nuestra habitación había un local 24hs que desprendía muchísima luz y como no había persianas más allá de unos estores pues entraba mucha luz. Las ventanas no eran insonorizadas por lo que se oía absolutamente todo del exterior. El baño un poco sucio, la cocina mejor ni la comento, un desastre, muy descuidada. Las camas deformes que se notan todos los muelles, necesitaban una renovación. Recomiendo llevar tapones para los oídos y antifaz.

Perfect for short stay

The host was amazingly kind and the location is perfect (close to a bus stop from the airport). The price/quality ratio is good.

It wasn’t really clean and the room was small.

Really friendly staff and easy personal access to the room. There was enough space in the room with 2 beds and the bathroom was big. We had all the facilities we needed and the pub had a welcoming and warm atmosphere. (With the addition of cheap drinks and deals on shots!)

The blind in the room was broken so we couldn't close it but not a huge issue.
