Tolle Lage auf den Klippen von Ponta do Sol. Sehr schönes Hotel mit traumhaft Blick auf die Küste. Das Frühstück ist sehr abwechslungsreich und lecker.

Teilweise kam es durch ein Festival im Ort zu Parkplatzproblemen.

Ausblick mit Sonnenuntergang und ein sehr schöner ruhiger Pool. Nicht überlaufen

Zimmer sind nicht Schallisoliert - Dusche der Nachbarn dient als Wecker und Fernseht kann man auch hören. Parksituation schlecht, ja es gibt einen kleinen Parkplatz aber das Hotel interessiert sich nicht ob da auch fremde parken. Paar mal gesehen. Schrank anscheint seit Jahren kaputt. Im Ort war ein Festival, informiert wurden wir darüber nachdem die kostenlos Stornierung abgelaufen ?! Trotz Ohrschutz war es laut im Zimmer). Tatsächlich hätte ich dies vorher erfahren, hätte ich mir ein anderes Hotel gesucht. Schlaf und Ruhe sind mir bei ~200€ die Nacht dann doch wichtig. Am Freitag war ein Techno Party im Hotel wo viele nicht Hotelgäste dort waren und schlafen war ohne Ohrschutz nicht möglich. Es kam mir so vor als wenn dem Hotel die eigenen Gäste egal währen !! Manche Sachen könnte man rüber hinwegsehe aber nicht bei der Preisklasse. Wenn man nur Wert aufn schönen Ausblick legt kann man hier hin. Ich würde es nicht mehr.

Gostámos muito da localização e do fácil acesso ao Hotel. Parece que estamos num mundo à parte! Vista maravilha sobre a Baía da Ponta do Sol. Usufruímos do spa, e ficámos satisfeitos.

De querer usufruir de uma massagem e do serviço só estar dísponível segunda-feira, quando no momento do check-in, disseram-nos que bastava ligar para a recepção e marcar. A estadia foi de apenas uma noite, de sábado para domingo. Porém, se não era possível deveriam ter-nos dito no momento do check-in.

Fantastische locatie met een prachtig uitzicht en goede faciliteiten. Mooi zwembad met fijne stoelen en de tuin is ontzettend fraai. Vriendelijk personeel, heerlijk ontbijt en dineren met uitzicht op zee in de mooie tuin was geweldig. De kamers zijn heel ruim en hoog met grote ramen.

Het bed was erg hard, oud en piepte en kraakte, dat maakte onze nachtrust minder en past ook niet zo bij een hotel in deze prijsklasse. Daarnaast hadden we last de bovenburen, kamers hebben houten vloeren daardoor hoor je de gasten boven je rondlopen, stoelen schuiven etc. Ook was de wellness, met name het stoombad waar een nare schimmelgeur hing niet heel fris.

Prachtig uitzicht op zee en/of het dorp zowel vanuit onze kamer als in de ontbijtzaal, zwembad en de prachtige tuin. Uitstekend ontbijt. Diverse barretjes. Supervriendelijk personeel. Wij hebben gebruik gemaakt van het gratis aanbod van het hotel voor transfer naar startpunt van een hike.

It was a great experience overall. In terms of atmosphere, usability, design and the view, this is honestly my favorite hotel of all time. The entire hotel is so beautifully put together that it’s almost impossible to put the feeling into words. The design, architecture, surroundings and overall atmosphere all come together perfectly and give the place a truly unique character. It’s one of those hotels that you really have to experience for yourself to understand what makes it so special. The wellness area was exceptional and easily one of the highlights of our stay. All of the pools were fantastic – the infinity pool, the heated pools and the entire wellness area were perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring Madeira. There are also plenty of activities and programs available at the hotel, so there is always something to do. Breakfast was excellent, with a great variety and basically everything you could need before heading out for a long and tiring day of hiking. It was the perfect start to our days exploring the island. Overall, the combination of the atmosphere, design, views, wellness facilities and the whole concept made this hotel an unforgettable experience for us. We will definitely be coming back.

We only had two issues: the parking and the Purple Night. Parking: Parking was horrible because it was almost always full. During the day, many of the spaces were taken by people going to the beach, and in the evening by people coming to watch the sunset. Because of this, it was often almost impossible to find a parking space near the hotel. Purple Night: I’m not really sure what to say about this one. I understand that it’s a design hotel and that events are part of the concept, but this felt like a full-blown party until around 11:30 PM, with many locals and tourists who weren’t staying at the hotel. For a 4-star hotel, I’m not sure allowing that many outsiders into the hotel grounds is the best choice. The noise itself actually wasn’t the main problem for us. We had an ocean-view room, so we could barely hear anything apart from some distant beats. The bigger issue was the aftermath. There was vomit in the central garden area (for more then 24 hour), and plastic bottles laying around the hotel paths. It really didn’t look good, especially for a 4-star hotel.

Quarto espaçoso, com uma excelente vista para o mar, boas acessibilidades e uma cama grande e muito confortável. As comodidades, nomeadamente as piscinas e o jacuzzi, são muito agradáveis e estão muito bem cuidadas. O staff é simpático, disponível e prestável. No pequeno-almoço, destaco também a frescura dos produtos, especialmente da fruta e dos sumos. Adoro ainda o facto de ser um alojamento pet friendly, algo que lhe dá um ambiente muito especial e acolhedor, há dois cães na receção e dois gatos que costumam andar pelos jardins e pelas áreas da piscina.

O quarto aquece bastante devido à exposição solar, tornando necessário manter o ar condicionado ligado durante a noite. O principal inconveniente é o ruído do próprio AC, que pode tornar-se um incómodo. O pequeno-almoço poderia beneficiar de uma maior variedade, nomeadamente com opções como panquecas, waffles e uma seleção mais diversificada de salgados. Um ponto a melhorar seria a disponibilidade de espreguiçadeiras junto à piscina exterior, que se revelou limitada. Por fim, o serviço de bar da piscina Kabo poderia ser reforçado com algumas opções de snacks ao longo do dia, mesmo que disponibilizadas num formato simples de self-service.

Great location, pretty big rooms, clean and view from the balcony was amazing. The pool, jacuzzi and self-service bar were also very nice place to rest after hiking trips. A great starting point for hiking the Levadas and exploring the banana fields. They also offer free shuttle service. The breakfast was very good, with lots of fresh fruit and many different local specialties from Madeira and Portugal.

One day, they organized a party near the pool with external guests. On that day, it was very difficult to find a place to park the car, and there was no possibility to rest because of the noise and the number of people. In general the parking situation around the hotel is difficult. There are some parking lots at the hotel but usually you are forced to park in the street.

Hotelli sijaitsee upealla paikalla, korkealla kielekkeellä josta upeat näkymät merelle ja alhaalla olevaan kylään. Huoneen terassi aukesi suoraan merelle, rauhallinen paikka istuskella ja nauttia. Aamupala oli loistava ja monipuolinen. Hotelli on kodinomainen, mukavia oleskelualueita ulkona kauniissa puutarhassa useita. Henkilökunta erittäin ystävällistä ja avuliasta.

Everything exceeded our expectations! The location is simply breathtaking, surrounded by peace, tranquility, and stunning views that make it the perfect place to relax and disconnect. The staff was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help with a genuine smile, making us feel at home from the very first moment. The rooms and all common areas were spotless, and the overall cleanliness was impeccable. The facilities are excellent, well maintained, and designed to provide maximum comfort. We also loved the food: every meal was delicious, with high-quality ingredients and plenty of variety. Every detail reflects the care and passion of the entire team. It was honestly one of the best stays we’ve ever had.

Miałam bezpośredni widok na morze, który był niesamowity ale pokój wymaga już odświeżenia. Hotel nie jest już nowy. Jedzenie w restauracji i podczas śniadania było dobre a personel pomocny.

Heel goed gevarieerd ontbijt en een aanrader om ‘s avonds daar te dineren. Fantastisch locatie in een charmant dorpje. De indeling van het hotel heeft ons gecharmeerd.

Ondanks de upgrade die wij kregen met een fantastisch zeezicht, zorgt de ouderdom van de kamer en duidelijk zichtbare gebruikssporen ervoor dat alles minder schoon oogde. Dit was ook te merken bij bepaalde accommodaties.

Magnifique hôtel avec une vue imprenable sur les montagnes et l'océan. La piscine est superbe, le service est très bien organisé et le personnel est attentionné. La plage se trouve à seulement quelques pas de l'hôtel, ce qui rend séjour encore agréable.

Not a complaint necessarily and turned out to be fine, but a bit more on the booking.com listing about the parking. You have to park outside on the road near the bottom of the hotel due to the cool vertical layout of the place. But all turned out to be fine and you can always get a space, just have to walk up the hill a bit more

Excellent location and beautiful property with excellent views and staff. Pool areas with self-service bar was very nice. Breakfast and dinner served with beatiful views. Room was spacious and had plenty of storage space for clothes etc. During our stay there was quite a lot of rain elsewhere on the island, but we found sun everyday when returning to Ponta do Sol.

Rooms are slightly outdated, could use some light renovation. Beds were wide but hard and slightly noisy. Gym not very good.

Der Urlaub war sehr schön und kurzweilig.

Es findet Freitagabends ein Musikevent im Barbereich statt, für den auch externe Personen ins Hotel kommen und im Restaurantbereich warten, bis es losgeht. Dies war für uns als Restaurantbesucher störend!

Ein wirklich wunderbares Hotel welches sehr speziell ist. Man merkt das nicht alles neu ist, trotzdem ist es luxuriös und teils auch mysteriös. An jeder Ecke gibt es etwas zu entdecken. Das Personal ist extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend! Das Frühstück ist wirklich wunderbar und frisch und hat eine grosse Auswahl. Das Abendessen ist eine kleine Karte welche aber einiges hergibt. Der Ausenpool ist fantastisch schön. Der Innenpool und Jacuzzis sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Am Pool gibt es keinen Service wie man das kennt. Ein paar Schritte weiter unten gibt es eine Bar wo man sich entweder selbst bedienen kann oder bestellt. Ich würde wieder kommen, wenn ich in Madeira bin.

Einige Dinge sind speziell wie zB das es keine WC Papier Halterungen gibt obwohl alles so luxuriös ist

Die Lage des Zimmers war sensationell - Blick auf den Atlantik - Küche , Essen - hervorragend - v.a. das Servicepersonal ist hervorzuheben. - Pool und die gesamte Gartenanlage wunderschön

Die Sauberkeit - im Zimmer und v.a. im Badezimmer - leider wurde das Zimmer nicht wirklich gereinigt, das Hotel ist ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen

Außergewöhnlicher Ort zum Erholen und als Startpunkt für schöne Wanderungen. Sehr freundliches Personal, alles perfekt.

La chambre et sa vue. Le petit déjeuner et son service par une dame (celle qui sert tôt le matin) très souriante. Le patio , le jardin bien entretenu, et la qualité du service du bar le soir. Le calme qui règne autour de la piscine et le respect des autres clients.

qu'on ne nous ait pas prévenu que le bar près de la piscine était un "honesty" bar ... et ce que cela veut dire. Nous avons attendu en vain qq un. j'aurai apprécié pouvoir prendre mon petit déjeuner plus tôt le service au restaurant mériterait d'être amélioré (servir l'entrée quand on a fini l'apéro, sourire etc..)

La situation de l’hôtel est exceptionnelle avec une vue remarquable. Les jardins sont très beaux et bien entretenus. Le petit déjeuner ainsi que le diner sont de bonne qualité.

Je suppose que l’hôtel n'a pas été rénové depuis une vingtaine d'année, certaines parties de l’hôtel semblent même à l'abandon (piscine intérieure et espace spa). Dans les chambres le mobilier est vieillot, les salles de bain n'ont pas de ventilation. La piscine et la plage de la piscine n'ont pas été nettoyées pendant notre séjour. Un gros point noir est aussi le parking, il faut se garer sur la route parfois à plus de 100 m de l'hôtel. Accueil lors du check-in impersonnel.

Prachtig gelegen, lekker uitgebreid ontbijt, vriendelijk personeel. Zalige infinity pool en jacuzzi. Leuk om te kunnen poolbiljarten. Alles was dik in orde.

Le calme absolu dans la chambre : juste le bruit des vagues et des Puffin de Corry’s…🥰 Le petit déjeuner extra avec des jus de fruits frais et variés. Le restaurant est vraiment délicieux. Le personnel très accueillant et disponible. Les accessoires SPA inclus. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter si nous revenons à Madère.

Le seul bémol est le parking on peut se retrouver vite assez loin de l’entrée de l’hôtel MAIS c’est gratuit et compréhensible étant donné la situation en haut de la falaise de l’hôtel.

Les chambres sont très convenables mais certains éléments sont vieillissants et méritent au moins une maintenance comme la douche qui fuit à différents endroits.

Architecture incroyable sur un site de falaise avec partout une vue incroyable. Une piscine et un jacuzzi à couper le souffle. Bon restaurant mais conseillé dans la pièce annexe beaucoup moins bruyante.

Peut-être chambre un peu simpliste et dommage pour les 2 chaises qui detonent dans ce luxe ambiant.

Pobyt v tomto hotelu byl naprosto úžasný! ❤️ Skvělé jídlo, bohaté a výborné snídaně s fresh džusy, nádherný výhled a hlavně neuvěřitelně milý a ochotný personál, díky kterému jsme se cítili opravdu vítaní po celou dobu pobytu. Velkým zážitkem byl také bazén, ze kterého je naprosto úžasný výhled na oceán, stejně jako krásný zahradní bar s výhledem na skály a oceán, kde jsme si dokonale odpočinuli. Velmi si také vážíme krásného přístupu k našemu mini pejskovi – všichni byli nesmírně laskaví a přátelští a náš pejsek se tam cítil doslova jako doma. To pro nás bylo obrovské plus. Děkujeme za perfektní atmosféru a určitě se rádi vrátíme!

Le cadre de l’hôtel est très agréable. Le petit déjeuner est excellent, varié et de qualité, et la piscine est magnifique avec une vue vraiment appréciable. Le personnel est également un point fort : très serviable, souriant et attentif aux demandes.

Les chambres sont décevantes. Elles sont clairement datées et ne correspondent pas aux photos présentées sur le site. Le bac de douche fuit après chaque utilisation, la porte de douche est abîmée par des dégâts des eaux à répétition, et le mobilier est très ancien et usé. C’est dommage, car avec une rénovation des chambres, l’établissement pourrait être vraiment exceptionnel.

The hotel seems like a faded version of what it should be. Some surfaces were scuffed/cracked.

Excellent breakfast buffet with meno of cooked options available daily Lovely pool, sauna, hot tub facilities. Great restaurant for evening meals. Stunning views from cliff top location. Lots of steps keep you fit (though lift is available too) Good additional local options for eating out within short walking distance. Free hotel airport shuttle and trips into Funchal if you don’t have a car.

Der Fahrstuhl innerhalb des Hotels war während unseres Aufenthalts nicht zugänglich. Wegen einer Gehbehinderung war dies äußerst misslich.
