We liked the location, quiet and peaceful. All the staff, including kitchen staff were very friendly and caring. Vishnu, Liju and Harsha were there all the time to meet our needs with a smile!

We had a truly comfortable and memorable stay at Hotel Cloud’s Nest, Ooty. The property is beautifully located with a peaceful atmosphere, well-maintained rooms, and a cozy vibe that makes you feel relaxed the moment you arrive. What really made our stay special was the exceptional hospitality. Vishnu and Shabri went above and beyond to take great care of us. They were incredibly polite, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed, making us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. The service, comfort, and overall experience exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend Hotel Cloud’s Nest to anyone visiting Ooty and looking for a pleasant, stress-free stay with warm hospitality. We would definitely love to visit again!

Incredible view from our beautiful and comfortable room. A peaceful and calming place to stay after the hustle and bustle of Ooty’s attractions. Started the day with delicious and varied breakfast.

The property was very clean. Staff are very warm and hospitable. They try their best to accommodate any request and I’d say the main positive about this place. The interiors and the overall property was quite modern and charming

Excellent Property at a great location. Excellent service by staffs especially Mr Lyjo and Shavri. Maintainance , Cleanliness, complimentary Breakfast all are top notch. Definitely going to consider for next visit.

A kitchen with limited menu would be great to address urgent requests around lunch and dinner. Not mandatory. But it would be better. Complimentary breakfast was awesome with quality and taste.

We stayed at clouds nest for 2 days (2 Nights and 3 days). Must say the stay was so amazing, pleasant, peaceful & very neat and clean. Very good room service anytime. Mainly the food, it's just tastes so good as home food. And big thanks for chef Vinod. Such a friendly staff and they guide properly regarding the places to visit or any issues they are up for help, even during night. They just made our stay at ease. Thank you for such a wonderful stay clouds nest and staffs Shabari & Harshan. Cleaning department Ambika, Udaya, Rasathi & Nandini. Definitely gonna recommend and will reachout to the same stay next time.

We stayed for 1 night at Clouds Nest. All the staff and team there were lovely and had a welcoming attitude towards us, especially Lyju and Sabari, who were very happy to help and answer any questions we had (eg about local tourist attractions). My son has multiple food allergies (including a severe nut allergy), which were extremely well catered for. The chef was able to make special food for him. Exceptional service. The room itself was very aesthetically pleasing, and the views were beautiful. Would highly recommend!

Well maintained & very clean.

Happy with the stay but couldn’t use the jacuzzi as there was no hot water in jacuzzi there was some issue. Please look in to it.

My Wife and I visited India and stayed here as a stop off for 1 night. Having travelled from Hyderabad and Mysuru, Clouds Nest was the relaxing night we much needed. Away up on a hill, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, it was easy to relax and unwind. The room was beautiful, well decorated and maintained.

Couldn't find fault at all

Welcoming of Lyju and Vishnu, very helpful and also Nandoni in the kitchen. The peaceful location with great views on the tea plantations. The confort and size of the rooms and the design of the room and living room. Full and varied breakfast.

A little steam on the room windows preventing to see all the landscapes throughout the window in the morning.

Very modern and spacious apartment. Good breakfast (Indian and Continental). Very nice bathroom and hot water. Tea/Coffee/Water provided complimentary in room (to make).

Our Visa Credit Card didn't work well in Tamil Nadu and we had a hard time to find cash in Ooty. Hotel is quite remote and the hotel does not offer dinner. You always need a car. Our room was very wet inside at the big window, thus curtains start to mold. It didn't bother us, but might look icky in a few months/years. Bedside lamps didn't work. Staff was not very helpful with information about surrounding area or toy train. All in all for this price I just expected more.

Room sizes and upkeep

No proper experience staffs . They didn’t changed the towel for next morning. And no one was there to listen to this .

Very new and clean, out of the busy areas of the town. Friendly and courteous staff. Really loved the home cooked breakfast. Not a big spread but very tasty local dishes.

Cannot thing of anything

The room offered a spectacular view, as if we were nestled within the mountains themselves. The sight became even more awe-inspiring with the drizzle.

Nice place to stay

On booking.com it was mentioned that there is a private balcony. Whereas there was no balcony at all in the entire property. I was expecting a private balcony. This was disappointing.

Housekeeping ladies were the best. Treated us like their own and prepared delicious breakfast. They also cleaned the place very well.

Mosquitoes tend to enter the room especially at night due to the cold weather.

Property is close to the important locations of the town. Nestled on top of a hill with a nice view of the location. Fairly big room

Rooms were not cleaned during the entire stay. A basic cleaning daily would help.

The property mentioned 4 star and very good review and it is a home state is not a star hotel for the suit room. We have to climb hundred steps to go to the room. If a person have a BP. He cannot travel so high under climbing 100 steps and no restaurant in the hotel, even for to take a dinner, we have to go for away from 5 to 6 km away from the home stay, and the bed is so hard for the paying for 12,000 for the room and even they are not removed the plastic cover of the bed and the drink water bottle is not sealed was kept which is algae was formed due to the sunlight on the were bottle water waskept.The value for such a home stat is 5000-6000 INR

An exceptional location. Scenic view and perfect location for a quiet stay. Very tastefully decorated and neatly maintained. Multiple avenues available for short excursions all around.. luxurious rooms with all amenities. Lyju was extremely helpful, responsive and took care of all issues well..

A functional restaurant with even limited menu will be a big boost given the location away from town. Breakfast spread is good but a basic menu could be made available throughout the day.

Property is relatively new and of a very high standard. Clean and thoughtfully furnished. The view from the room is epic it is mystical. We truly loved it however they did not have any internet and we were not able to reach reception as for the first time in my 35 year of travel I could not figure out what number to dial. We tried all numbers you would expect to dial to reach front desk including (zero, one, 100,etc) however these guys were out of planet earth and chose a number that I'll not disclose and will leave it for you to guess 😭. They miserably failed to share that front desk number and did not tell us that the net is not working and never even shared a wifi key with us. With the weather is so wet and cold in ooty and being on the fourth floor the last thing you want is to keep going up and down every time you need something. Basically we couldn't reach reception and no net. This really shadowed the experience. Other than that it is a good property

It's slightly far away from the city market (around 2.7 kms) but that works in its advantage also as it's very calm and quiet

Cleanliness and friendliness of staff

The rooms are beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and have wonderful views. It is very peaceful location, which is quite far from the centre of Ooty. Fabulous terrace and lots of flowers. Possible to walk into town from here (downhill 40 mins). The manager was very helpful. This is a great choice if you want peace and tranquility.

The property is difficult to find unless you have precise instructions. There is no restaurant here for lunch or dinner, but you can order take away meals. Immediate area has no restaurants, but a few basic shops.

The European architecture, Jacuzzi, and the amazing view from the room

Liked the room and balcony in front of the room. We have taken the advantage of candle light dinner with the open place available in the location. I liked the stay. This location is suitable / recommended to stay for more than 1 night.

It would have been gr8, if dinner is also available, atleast for a paid price.

I did like the place and room size

No 24 hours hot water, basic amenities like brush and paste were not available. Microven is required as there is no food available in stay.. I o heat the food which is ordered from outside Asked for some facilities, they couldn't provide like cake and rose petals.. Reception phone were not available. Wifi was not working TV was not in working

This place had recently opened and we were glad we stayed here. Staff were friendly and very helpful when it came to their suggestions to roam around Ooty. Lovely place with a view. Aesthetic decor. Room was provided with a heater as the weather can be really cold. The bathroom was clean. We enjoyed our stay without any hassles. If you prefer staying away from crowded places, this is the place to go.
