Staffs were warmth,polite,thoughtful & security guards were always on a look out for any vehicles driving in.👏🏼 Spacious suite instead of the room I oringinally paid for,it was free upgrade. We were blessed & sincerely appreciated. Although the room weren’t quiet as I requested but I noticed that the hotel staffs did tried their best. Hotel rooms weren’t build sound proof,however they do have heavy curtain to help soundproof the room. Most importantly the hotel makes us feels comfortable & secure during our stay. Locations were very convenient especially a big mall right next to it & massage parlours were few steps away.🙏🏻 Ps: I’ve highly recommend the hotel to my friends & colleagues.✌️

Noise from the morning prayer around 5am, big group of guests were making noise from the corridor & next door neighbor speaks loud. Some bugs issue at the restaurant while having breakfast (understood can’t be control). For the hotel to have some additional changes of foods too.

It's located next to Grand Batam Mall with 3 decent spas downstairs. Within walking distance there are a number of eateries too. The rooms we got were very spacious & clean. We had a 1 bedroom unit and it came with everything including stove, oven & washing machine. Staff were very friendly & helpful. They are well trained.

I think they can't really be called a luxurious 5 star hotel. It's a fancy 4 star at the most. The facilities were small. Breakfast was good in variety in a small space but quality was just alright. 3d2n is perfect.

Great location! Grand Batam Mall is just beside. The hotel room is also comfortable! We got the one bedroom premier and come with separate bedroom with the living room area. Staff are nice and friendly too, even the security guards will help to stall the cars for guests to cross the road. And also open the side door for us. Our package comes with a complimentary dinner and also daily breakfast. Not bad spread! Nadia was super attentive and approached us to help get our complimentary welcome drink. One server even offered to take our photos!

If I really have to say something I didn’t like, that will be no plug in toilet to use hair dryer. I am just too used to doing it in the toilet.

Clean, modern apartment style. Room was clean, aircon was strong and they provide water dispenser at Lift area and one at the middle of the hallway of rooms. Bed was comfortable too! Link to Grand batam mall super convenient. Walkable to lots of nearby cafes and massage too.

A stench in the water tap from our room. Not sure if is the water system in batam or just specifically the tap issue in this room. Too overpowering.

Modern, clean, comfortable, great location, and excellent service. Breakfast had plenty of choices, and they even upgraded my room and prepared a lovely birthday decoration. They also allowed a late check-out until 1pm at no extra charge, as my ferry was at 5pm. Will definitely be one of my favourite hotels.✨

Property is new and well maintained. Fantastic location, right next to the mall for super easy access to food, shopping and entertainment. There's a spa just steps away from the hotel entrance, another added bonus. The breakfast served is amazing too. Service rendered by staff in the restaurant and reception was lovely. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Our group of 7 booked 3 rooms, and we were very happy with our stay. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and had a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The beds were extremely comfortable, which made for a great night’s sleep. The location was also excellent—within walking distance of shopping malls, massage outlets, restaurants, and many food options. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Apartment unit suitable for family of 5. With 2 toilets and all the essential kitchen and washing facilities available it is very comfortable. Very good location to be in.

Aircon in living room was a bit noisy during the night, slight chattering noise.

The location is right next to the mall and 15 mins drive to Harbor Bay Ferry Terminal. Staffs services were impeccable and good on sustainabiliy. You can refill your own water at the water cooler near the lifts.

Comfort and cleanliness of the room

Oakwood remains one of my favourite places to stay during travels because it genuinely feels like home. During this stay, I chose a Studio Premier on the 18th floor as I wanted a cosy sofa area in front of the television for relaxation. I also skipped breakfast since the mall opposite offers a huge variety of convenient food options. The room felt warm and welcoming, with clean corners, a subtle oak fragrance, and a very comfortable bed that was neither too hard nor too soft — just the right comfort level for good rest. Overall, the stay checked almost every box for me, with only a few small areas for improvement: 1. My contour pillow request submitted during pre-registration was unfortunately not prepared upon arrival. 2. A laundry basket in the bathroom would help keep used towels tidier and more organised. 3. While the large bathroom amenity bottles are practical, the shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel felt rather watered down and could better reflect Oakwood’s premium branding. 4. The rounded pool steps can feel slightly uncomfortable on the feet when entering or exiting the pool. 5. There was exterior window cleaning during the stay without prior notice, and the knocking sounds in the morning were initially confusing. A simple heads-up beforehand would be appreciated. Overall, I still truly enjoy staying at Oakwood and appreciate the comfort and atmosphere the property consistently provides.

Excellent location - Grand Batam mall is just minutes a way and 15-20mins to Harbour Bay or Ferry center. Good room facilities & water dispenser was at outside of our room.

Soundproof needs to be improved or maybe there was undergoing some renovations which is interrupted our rest in the room. And i found is hard to adjust the warm water temperature at the shower room (too hot with a slight move). The rest are ok.

Breakfast very varieties. Tried the high tea and its nice. Locations very good, link to the Grand Mall. Lots of shops and eateries .

The carpark link to mall still ongoing renovations so its abit dusty and dark .

Great variety of food, both western and Asian at breakfast. Great location too for its accessibility to the big shopping mall next door. Great 2-bedroom executive room spacious enough for a family of 5 adults :D
