Reviewed Sep 18, 2026Mooie kamers, vriendelijk personeel. Goede locatie met veel restaurantjes op loopafstand.
Het ontbijt viel wat tegen. Niet zo veel keuze en de rijst en noedels waren lauw. De eitjes waren wel lekker en werden ter plaatse bereid en je kon bereidingswijze kiezen: spiegelei, omelet, roerei, …Ook het fruit was wel lekker.

Établissement familial donc beaucoup d’enfants qui jouent dans les couloirs/ entre les chambres.

La salle de bain est une peu petite et le robinet fuyait donc il y avait de l’eau qui s’écoulait . La climatisation était un peu moyen et il y a un ventilateur en supplément . La propreté des draps était aussi moyenne . Le petit déjeuner est vraiment passable . La salle du restaurant est très bruyante et sale ( sièges sales , tables pas nettoyées , déchets au sol ) .

The breakfast wasn't to my taste, not enough variety to serve diverse cuisine taste, but when in Rome! It's very much a family hotel so lots of children and quite noisy, you're lucky if you can get in the pool.But that's not what we went for and we had a lovely time there visiting the beautiful bays by boat.

Reviewed Apr 25, 2026As we walked into reception i thought we had hit the jackpot. Mable floor looked amazing then we went to room. Window over looking internal stairs. Looked shabby marks all over wall. Bathroom smelt of urine. I asked to change room and had too pay to move. Room a little better but had external window with balcony but had water bottle with at least 10 cigarette butts in it. Obviously cleaner hadn't checked. Breakfast poor. Fruit flies all over fruit and we were first down to breakfast. There is a chef cooking fresh eggs which was good but on whole poor.
Musty smell about hotel . Shabby rooms. Poor breakfast.

Le petit déjeuner est assez bien fourni. L’hôtel est très propre et la salle de bain est impeccable. La literie est bonne on a très bien dormi. Mention spéciale pour le staff qui est au TOP 😀❣️

Kylpyhuone oli huono. Lattiassa kaadot pielessä niin että oven kynnys mätäni ja vedet valui kynnyksen alle. Vesi jäi lattialle ja teki siitä erittäin liukkaan. Kylpyammeen alta vedet valuivat myös kohti ovea ja kynnystä. (Kylpyhuoneessa erilliset suihku ja kylpyamme).

Very helpful staff! They helped us with everything, always smiling. Decent breakfast Very comfortable room and very good water pressure and hot water! Would definitely recommend

Reviewed Apr 3, 2026Well, we loved Cat Ba, the boat trips we took (more than one from different companies), hiking, biking, restaurants AND we loved staying at the Cat Ba Wonder Hotel for a week. Quan and Dan manage the hotel and are an excellent team, overseeing it seems everything. They help travelers with bookings, suggestions, and aim to make your stay wonderful. They are the best. Housekeeping is superb, our room was quiet, we had a balcony, bed comfortable, WiFi strong, laundry was done in one day. The hotel is easy walking distance to everything yet on a quiet side street. When it gets busy during breakfast, it does get challenging for the capable man making the eggs-to-order in one small pan, but he handles it well and with a smile - perhaps the coffee could be hotter😀. But breakfast was fine, lots of fruit and we were satisfied. We recommend this lovely hotel!

Location was good, somewhat quiet location, but a close walk to many restaurants. Pool was a little small, but our kids loved it.
