We loved our stay! Easy check-in and check out with kind staff. The atmosphere was very warm and welcoming. The activities were a nice touch and a good way to meet others staying there. The kitchen was big, fully equipped, and though we personally didn't partake, other girls cooked full meals in the evening with no problems. We also liked the make-up counter with the mirrors, there was even a clothes iron and an ironing board available! Other reviews mention being woken up by the beeping of the locks and doors slamming - we did not encounter this problem and slept through it every time. The area around the hotel could get a bit sketchy at times, but it wasn't any worse compared to other places I have travelled to in the past, including Berlin and Paris, even late at night and early in the morning. It is also well connected, the Bijlmer ArenA station is about 5-10 minute walk from the hostel, with direct line to Centraal Station (20 minute metro ride).

The room we stayed was nice, but I feel like the beds could use some work. The mattresses were old and worn-out, with lumps of the cover material and hair stuck on it, creating an unpleasant texture. There were some strange stains on the blanket insert. However the floor was clean, as well as the other areas, including the showers and toilets. It could also get quite cold in the room, compared to the common areas.

everything was amazing here! The hostel sometimes holds events for ppl who stay here, which is a good opportunity to connect with ppl from other places. The shower was also nice- hot enough and the water pressure was good. They even have dressing tables for guests doing the makeup.

THIEFS who steal foods from the fridge might happen often here. I bought a pack of eggs and tiramisu the first day i landed and they were gone the next early morning... There was one girl in my room telling me her shoes bought just for 1 day were stolen as well... And the fridge got some issue the day i checked out, but it might have been just temporary.

Everything was perfect and clean ! The only negative point is that when we wanted to leave our luggages, no one warned us that if left after 5pm, we had to pay 5€ (+1€/hour) for each person. So, you shoul be careful about that !

The community room was very spacious and nice, the kitchen was easily accessible, there was a space to do your makeup and skincare and the garden was incredibly calm and enjoyable.

The common area is right next to the window/entrance area facing the street, so just be aware that you might hear loud noises etc if you’re sitting very close to the door.

Le grand espace commun avec cuisine équipée et les canapés. Les grandes salle de bains communes.

Le personnel à l'accueil était assez froid, il y avait beaucoup de lits dans une petite chambre, on était très proche les unes des autres malgré les rideaux de séparation. La porte de la chambre claquait, il y avait beaucoup de bruits. De plus, l'hostel est assez excentré.

Dirty kitchen. I have never seen such a dirty kitchen in a hostel. Tiles on the wall are sticky and brown, bins are never washed, tables are dirty. The girl who checked me in was unfriendly, looked over my shoulder, didn’t explain what was where. Rooms are small, no place for things. Guests behave appallingly even though they sign a paper that they will behave in a civilised way. But they still talk loudly at night, slam doors and turn on the light at 1 am. The hostel is located in a ghetto district of Amsterdam with noisy, mentally ill people, the new citizens leave trash all over, strange men followed me and whistled at me, one even tried to enter the hostel after me.

My mum and I had a lovley stay at this hostel during five days. The facilities were comfortable, clean and the common area was absolutely fantastic. Every a few nights activities that were free and open to everyone willing to join, were held at the common space and led by THE nicest staff ever. :) This hostel is a MUST if you are a woman open to meet new people from around the world. I think I'll even miss the hostel and the people I met in there a bit more than Amsterdam itself! 😗

Me gustó que las camas eran bastante fuertes y que tenían cortinas, eso da privacidad. Tenía un jardín mono, pena que no lo supe hasta el último día, ya que la persona de la recepción no se molestó mucho en indicármelo. Las duchas están bien, y también los baños.

El personal no era del todo agradable o invitante a las actividades. No digo que no sean buenas atendiendo, pero en mi caso las sentí un poco distantes o frías. La localización está bien en el sentido de que está cerca del tren, pero si es para visitar y hacer turismo por Amsterdam centro o alrededores, escogería otra zona

Location, staff is friendly and respectful, the hostel is tidy

Very adorable accomodation for someone who missed the last train home and need couple hours to stay until first train in the morning. Love the idea of women only space. Lots of facilities for girls, such as make-up desks and free sanitary products. Staffs were friendly on the phone and onsite.

I thought everything was amazing inside, fully stocked kitchen and really clean showers.

They always took care fo having the instalations clean and comfortable for everyone which is very valuable.

It is necessary they do a clean up every week of the fridge in order to remove the food that was left behing from people who already did a check out. Additionally, the fridge needs mantainance because it made big noise and wasn't cooling enough,

Great rooms, very comfortable beds. The whole atmosphere is super nice, you feel very safe as the hostel is only for women. The kitchen is big, and all the amenities are there. The workers are nice, and they organise very fun events.

The location is not the safest for women, especially during the night. There is no AC in the rooms or the showers, so it gets humid, and the fans are not enough. The laundry costs 9eur, which is very high.

A equipe é sensacional! As atividades são ótimas e um hostel só para mulheres significa uma despreocupação imensa em muitos aspectos (o que é muito positivo)!

O ar condicionado não estava funcionando e peguei a maior onda de calor do verão, o que foi bastante desconfortável. A geladeira precisa de um outro sistema de organização porque jogaram alguns itens que eu comprei no lixo e ainda não era hora… Os hóspedes também não respeitam a geladeira e fazem uma bagunça danada… Se colocassem cortinas menos barulhentas seria muito bom! O trilho é metálico, assim como os aros da cortina… mudando o material de alguma das superfícies já melhoraria muito!

O hostel é exatamente como nas fotos. O quarto era amplo, cama excelente, muito confortável. Os banheiros eram limpos e a quantidade suficiente para o número de hóspedes. A localização é excelente, próximo do metrô, restaurantes e cafés. Ótimo custo benefício.

Kitchen and the garden. It was just perfect for the number of guests.

It's a little off the center and you gotto take a 15 minutes walk to the metro as the Amsterdam center is about 30- 40 minutes away. With heavy luggage it can be demanding. Yet, it's still quite a good alley to walk through the Amsterdam poort and one just need to start early and sleep early to catch the day.

O quarto era extremamente quente, não tem ar condicionado.

Molto pulita e ordinata, c’è la possibilità di cucinare nello spazio comune. Women friendly, che è molto interessante per chi viaggia da sola in una grande città! Posizione lontana dal centro, ma facilmente raggiungibile coi mezzi e all’interno di un’area commerciale molto ben servita (caffè, take away, supermercati).

Very cozy, and clean, felt very safe, there’s everything you need in terms of facilities, comfortable bed and pillows, curtains help with privacy, very nice ambiance in the shared lounge.

Room 9 needs better air conditioning, it was a bit too hot for my liking, and the hostel is a little far from the center (at least 35min away with metro)

Eu me senti no fantástico mundo das meninas, todo mundo tranquilo , sem incomodar ninguém e de roupas confortáveis , sabendo que não seria olhada por ninguém. Foi ótimo

El hecho de ser solo para chicas ya es un puntazo y respira seguridad. Las instalaciones están muy bien, tanto por las cortinas en la cama y que no tengas que preparar tu propia cama (lo que para mí es esencial), a las zonas comunes que están muy pensadas para las necesidades femeninas. El jardín es muy cool.

La puerta de la habitación era automática y hacía un ruido muy alto cada vez que alguien entraba o salía. Me he despertado del susto cada vez que cerraba la puerta.

The hostel is as clean as a hostel can be. You can see that they're taking care of this, you can see the ladies cleaning every day. I felt comfortable in the bathrooms and toilets as well. There is a kitchen in the hostel, you can prepare your own meals. The general vibe is really nice, a lot of girls and women travelling alone or with friends. It becomes a community, people are meeitng downstairs to chat, eat together. There are also themed events organized. As opposed to many hostels, I felt safe here. Maybe it's the woman only feeling, but still, I felt I can relax, I don't have to guard myself and my things.

I'm not happy that they have a rule that you can only stay in this hostel for 14 nights in a year. I visit The Netherlands quite often for work and now that I found a safe place to stay, I'll need to search for another one. I cannot understand how a commercial object might even have the right to reject somebody who wants to pay for their services.

Siendo todas mujeres podíamos sentirnos a gusto, estar tranquilas como en casa. Todo muy limpio, la cama muy cómoda, el agua de la ducha calentita, el personal súper amable y muy bien el servicio de lavado de ropa que ofrecen.

No le vi nada malo, solo les sugeriría que quizás esté un poco más baja la calefacción en las zonas comunes porque con mi amiga nos sentíamos como sofocadas en relación a la temperatura exterior, pero claramente es un detalle ya que lo demás estuvo muy bien.

The location is located close to the Bijlmer station but the area it is in is a bit sketchy. The staff was super friendly thought and extremely helpful. The only girls concept is lovely and felt safe. The kitchen had everything you could ever need and the mirrors w the lights were game changers!

Their ventilation needs to be fixed. It was extremely hot in the rooms, and because of this all the doors to the rooms were kept open which is a safety issue. Their bathroom doors are very heavy and close very fast, I got my hand/fingers slammed twice and it was quite painful and unpleasant. There were some creepy guys chilling outside the hostel at night which was a little spooky when solo traveling

The hostel is in a convenient area but not a safe area. The WIFI is terrible. Not a fault of the hostel but the vibes were bad during our stay. Our labelled food got stolen, no one spoke to each other, hair and shavings all over the bathrooms and toilets, someone smoked inside our room. Would recommend staying elsewhere.

Tutto perfetto!

A very welcoming and friendly environment. Women were always chatting in the common area, watching a movie, or having meals together. The planned events throughout the week also make it super easy to get know others in a relaxed and fun way. The staff were super helpful and the facilities were very clean.

The only issue I had was I couldn’t seem to open a window in the bedroom, and during a heatwave, it gets a bit hot and stuffy.

Skvělý hostel pro solo cestovatelky! Velké plus je, že je celé ubytování pouze pro ženy, takže jsem se cítila opravdu bezpečně a příjemně. Hostel je krásně a stylově zařízený a nejvíc jsem ocenila postel – byla obrovská, pohodlná a díky závěsu poskytovala ve sdíleném pokoji skvělé soukromí. Navíc vlastní lampička, zásuvka a polička. Úložný prostor pod postelí je také opravdu velký, jen je potřeba mít vlastní zámeček. Koupelny a toalety byly hezké a čisté, super jsou i stolky se zrcadly a osvětlením. Jediná menší nevýhoda byly sprchy – trochu horší čistota, málo prostoru na odkládání věcí a chybělo mýdlo a utěrky. Jinak ale moc příjemné ubytování, které bych určitě doporučila!

Sehr gute Lage zum Stadion! Man hat sich direkt sehr wohl gefühlt und alle waren super hilfsbereit! Ein großer Bonus war die Deko passend zum Harry Styles Konzert! Würde jederzeit wieder kommen.

It was a nice clean hostel

No air con, when it had on the info that there was. Rooms were really hot and a lot of the girls did not honour the quiet time rules

Het was een bijzonder aangename ervaring. De locatie is kleurrijk en creatief ingericht. Er heerst bijna een serene rust. Misschien hadden wij mazzel maar we sliepen op een acht persoons kamer en ik heb de hele nacht geen geluidje gehoord. Ook in de gezamenlijke keuken verliep alles gemoedelijk en de dames hielden alles keurig schoon en netjes. Er was een prettige doucheruimte.

Franchement très belle expérience! Très belle surprise, car j'ai toujours voulu essayer un hostelle et pas de regret. À refaire. L'accueil, la propreté, équipement,l'emplacement avec pleins des magasins et restaux à côté.

The kitchen was big and fully furnished and they have a strict 'wash you dishes policy', which was a plus. The bed was comfortable and it was mostly calm during sleeping hours.

Unfriedly stuff when I arrived, not that clean and not possible to open up windows properly, which makes it smelly in the dorm, hard to breathe and depressing to stay in. The garden-space was littered every single day. All in all it was an okay-experience to stay there, but I don't get the positive online-ratings und wouldn't come back again if in Amsterdam.

Les lits sont peu hauts on se cognait la tête. Il yavait un homme réceptionniste alors que le personnel doit rester féminin. Merci au personnel

Me encantó que fuera una hostal solo de mujeres, espacios para maquillarse y una sensación de tranquilidad que en las hostales mixtas no se siente. Los baños limpios y una preocupación femenina. Volvería a la misma hostal.

No me gustó el barrio. Había mucha basura en los alrededores y era un poco difícil de encontrar la hostal. Se sentía incómodo el trayecto entre la hostal y el metro, no por peligro pero si porque era un espacio comercial con mucha gente y a veces algunos que hacían comentarios incómodos.

Ik vond de vibe fantastisch, al gelijk bij binnenkomst. Beetje studentikoos/boutique hotel. Voelde me er gelijk thuis. Douches en toilet ook allemaal super schoon en netjes. Er is ook een kleine binnentuin, met zitjes waar je lekker kan zitten. Een paar lekkere strandstoelen of zitzakken zou het nog leuker maken. Ook in de omgeving is genoeg te doen, veel eettentjes en winkels en ligt op 10 min lopen van bijlmer arena

De ramen op de slaapkamers kunnen niet open, althans die waar ik sliep niet. Er was wel een ventilator, maar daar merkte niet niets van. Ivm de hitte was dit toch wel heel erg heet en benauwd. Met koelere temperaturen is het niet zo erg, maar het creëren van een raam wat open kan zou al heel veel schelen!!

Das Hostelle ist sehr frauenfreundlich,feministisch und liebevoll eingerichtet.Alles ist bunt und gemütlich,und es sind viele Sitzmöglichkeiten sowie ein kleiner Innenhof vorhanden.Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut und es ist alles vorhanden,was man für seinen Aufenthalt braucht.Besonders schön fand ich die kostenlosen Hygieneartikel wie Tampons und Binden.Auch das Sicherheitskonzept mit PIN für Eingang und Zimmer sowie der besetzte Eingangsbereich haben mir ein gutes Gefühl gegeben.Und viele schöne Bunte und Glitzer Bilder.Wie auch Internationale Flaggen und die beleuchteten Schminktische.

Mein größtes Problem war leider die Lage.Als allein reisende Frau habe ich mich außerhalb des Hostelles teilweise sehr unwohl und unsicher gefühlt.In der unmittelbaren Umgebung und vor dem Hostelle hielten sich häufig Männer auf (auch in Gruppen),die teilweise alkoholisiert oder unter Drogeneinfluss wirkten/standen.Dadurch hatte ich besonders abends kein gutes Gefühl,allein zum Hostelle zurückzukehren.Das Hostelle selbst habe ich dagegen als deutlich sicherer empfunden.

It was clean and beautifully presented. The staff were courteous and helpful. The rooms were well spaced and clean.

The young girls were not aware that walking out of their doors and allowing the door to bang at 12MN was discourteous. A sign to indicate consideration would have been good. The rooms were not air conditioned and the windows could not be opened. It was very hot. As a consequence several rooms propped their doors open.

Assez calme alors que l'hôtel est situé sur une place animée le soir Situé à 30 min en métro de la gare centrale d'Amsterdam, beaucoup de commerces autour (alimentation (Lidl), magasin de vêtements, restaurants...). Cuisine entièrement équipée qui permet de pouvoir se préparer les repas. Accueil chaleureux, personnel toujours à l'écoute pour répondre à nos questions. Le fait que le lieu ne soit réservé qu'aux femmes --> sentiment de sécurité à tous les niveaux

Nagyon szuper volt a szállás, jól felszerelt a konyha és tiszták a szobák. Az ágyakra felhelyezett függönyök biztosították a privát szférát. A hostel hangulata nagyon kellemes volt és külön figyelmet szenteltek a dekorációnak, hiszen a Harry Styles koncertsorozat miatt mindenhol dalszövegek, idézetek fotók díszítették a közös helyiségeket. Nagyon kreatív megoldás. :) Ár-érték arányban kicsit drága volt, de ez a Harry Styles turné miatt. Azonban a hostel elhelyezkedése rendkívül jó: közel a stadion, a metró- és vonatállomás. Jó választás volt.

Stayed for a week. The room was clean and comfortable. Beds have curtains so I have my privacy even if the room is full. Lockers under the bed are quite spacious and even small luggage lock fits to lock them. Cool light-up mirrors for makeup in the corridor on both floors. I was pleasantly surprised to see ironing board, nice to have one. Never seen a line to the shower, even though the hostel was almost fully booked. Two hairdryers were in showers on my floor (I guess on the other one situation is the same). They are always there, no need to go anywhere and ask. It pleased my introverted soul. Kitchen is just excellent. Two electric stoves with three burners each. Again, never stood in a line for that. Kitchen essentials also provided (salt, papper, some more spices, oil; parchment, foil etc.) A lot of gadgets you could possibly need from toaster and blender to ice cube making machine. More than enough dishes and cutlery. Enough pans to cook in. Food storage is organized nicely. Fridge is spacious. I would recommend to keep your food packed in a bag still, because due to pure misfortune something from upper shelves of the fridge spilled over my stuff. Glad I had covered it, things happen, it was ok. A shame I had a busy week and hadn’t got to the garden, it looked cute from the window. Also I missed out on a lot of activities because of spending very little time indoors, hope to try get more involved next time))) Overall community of guests feels incredibly nice and sweet) even my shy self ended up caught in couple enticing conversations. Inspiring)))

A bit dark to walk from the station at night time, but I guess ended up more scary than actually dangerous. Someone opened the window in the room at night so I was caught up in a fight for my peaceful sleep with mosquitoes

Vriendelijk en modern hostel alleen voor dames. Ik sliep op een 4 persoonskamer stapelbed hoogste bed. Mooie grote gemeenschappelijke keuken en een buitengedeelte (binnenpatio)

Als je het bovenste bed hebt moet je een trappetje op. Dit vergt wel wat lenigheid en armspieren 😉
