We really loved staying with Marriott. Right from being welcomed at main gate n through out everyone was so welcoming. Small gestures from the team Marriott made our stay more comfortable. We really loved the hospitality and staff being concerned about your needs. Special shout out to team at reception including Ms. Priyanka & Ms. Ria. Mention to Mr. Anas and Mr. Jay for beautiful voice and entertaining us in evening n during breakfast. Mr. Shailendra, Mr. Sachin and team from housekeeping team for making our stay more comfortable and surprising us all the time. Mr. Roshan - who was very enthusiastic for a trek and kept our daughters engaged with his life experiences. A special thank you to rest of the staff for making it most memorable trip so far. Upon learning it was our first visit, she immediately took the time to ensure we were fully aware of all the amenities and activities the hotel offers.She reached out to us several times during our short stay just to check in and make sure we were having a great time. Her hospitality was truly remarkable throughout our trip Shailendra from housekeeping provided exceptional service during our stay, ensuring our ultimate comfort and surprising us with a special birthday room decoration that made the celebration truly special. His team kept the room exceptionally clean and comfortable throughout our visit and provided warm hospitality Also, We want to send a huge thank you to Chef Shiv for making our meals so special. He went out of his way to make sure we tried the absolute best local cuisines at the buffet. Cooking a few special dishes just for us showed a level of care and passion that we rarely see. We stayed at the JW Marriott over the weekend and it lived up to our expectations. The welcome drink was a refreshing mix of hot and cold options served in glasses that resembled hills. We were upgraded to valley view rooms with interconnecting suites and breathtaking views. The property is vast and immaculately maintained, with friendly staff. The Den was a highlight, especially for its bowling and kids’ activities. Breakfast and kachadi were delicious, though the activities could be improved. The temple walk was cancelled due to rain and the garden walk was deserted. Despite this, we’ll definitely return.

One of my best 10 nights stays of 2026. Best hospitality, felt at home, the ground staff, the chefs, housekeeping, room service—what can I say? 10/10 or 100/100. I have promised them next year monsoon we will come not as a couple but will bring my entire family. I know each and every member of this resort to start with Priyanka, Kashmira, Ati, Mejen, Chef Deepak, Chef Vikesh, Chef Anil. Well, I can keep writing but won’t finish. Please go and visit for them as Marriott runs on good discipline and they are the ones on their toes for us. The real heroes.

This was my third visit to the property, it is excellent as always. Special thanks to Mrs Priyanka and GM Mr. Gaurav Issar for helping me out with my query. The restaurant staff is also very helpful special thanks to Chef Raturi and chef Love for looking after my gluten free requirements. However I felt in every visit that the staff at Den is not hospitable and welcoming.I would also thank Mr. Vivek for making the booking for me.

We had a wonderful stay at JW Marriott Walnut Grove, and overall, I'd rate it 4.5/5. The location is slightly away from the main city and Mall Road. While this means you'll need to travel a bit to reach the city's attractions, it also has its advantages, The property is peaceful and offers a much more relaxing atmosphere. Starting with the rooms, they are spacious, well-designed, and comfortably accommodate a family of two adults and one child. The cleanliness, room amenities, and overall upkeep are top-notch. There are absolutely no complaints in this department. Coming to the service, this is probably the only area where I feel there's a little room for improvement. Compared to some of the finest luxury properties like Taj, the service doesn't quite reach that exceptional level yet. It's still very good, but it lacks the effortless finesse and anticipation of guest needs that truly defines world-class hospitality. The food, however, was outstanding. Both the breakfast and dinner spreads were excellent, with an impressive variety of appetizers, main courses, and desserts. Everything we tried was delicious, and the quality was consistently high. Housekeeping and the guest relations team also deserve appreciation. A special thanks to Mr. Shailendra Singh from the housekeeping department, who went above and beyond by staying in touch with us over WhatsApp and ensuring we were comfortable throughout our stay. Another special mention goes to Ms. Savleen, who warmly welcomed us, helped us settle into our room, and was always prompt and enthusiastic in responding to our requests. If I had one suggestion, it would be for the service team to add a little more polish and attention to detail. To truly stand alongside iconic luxury brands like Taj, every interaction should make guests feel genuinely valued and cared for. That extra level of warmth and personalization is what transforms a great stay into an unforgettable one. Overall, this is a beautiful property with excellent rooms, outstanding food, and a very caring team. With a little more refinement in service, it has all the ingredients to be among the very best. A well-deserved 4.5 out of 5 stars.

We went to celebrate my wife's birthday and I must admit this is one of the most amazing resort places in India. The staff is courteous. They also arranged for special requests on celebrations. One particular highlight was how the guest relations team Savleen decorated the room with personalized messages for my wife. That was above and beyond. A dimmer for our stay was falling sick which I would attribute to the stream breakfast, the staff didn't inform us about its intensity. But that aside, this is one of the most recommended places to stay and relax. Breathtaking views from the room. Pleasant atmosphere in June. 10/10

Great place and location. Clean room, good food, good hospitality and great staff. Service was great at every step from smooth check in to timely attending to the requests and attention to detail at every step and amazing hospitality at all the restaurants. Loved the concept of 'Pahadi moms' being employed to prepare local delicacies to be savoured by the guests at all meals. The chef's at all restaurants personally interacted with us to get direct feedback regarding the food and service. Their personal recommendations for trying out local delicacies and different types of food enhanced the overall experience. Special thanks to chef's Mr. Shiv Sajwan and Mr. Shiv Singh at Trout, Mr. Amit at Tepan, Mr. Vikesh Rathore at Wisteria and Mr. Deepak at JW Cafe. Their recommendations were great at all times and the food prepared was always fresh as well as delicious. Mr. Shiv Sajwan at Trout made us try the signature local delicacy Jangore ki Kheer and Mr. Vikesh Rathore at Wisteria specially prepared the vegetarian version of red rice risotto for us so that we could savour local delicacy of red rice in the form of risotto. Mr. Amit at Tepan customised the sushi order for us by giving 4 pieces each of 2 different flavours of Sushis instead of 8pieces of 1 single flavour, so that we could try both of them. Special mention to Gehat ki Dal, Makai ka Shorba, Bhuna Palak ka saag and Jhangore ki Kheer prepared by the chef's at Trout; Farm fresh pizza, Millet base pizza, Dolce toffee pasta, Arancini and red rice risotto at Wisteria; Sushis and Gyozo and Tepan; Swala and Gehat ki Dal ke parathe at JW Cafe. Thank you to Mr. Prince at Wisteria and Trout and Ms. Taranjeet at Tepan for their wonderful service and hospitality. Thanks to Ms. Richa at the recreation team for organising the JW Garden Walk and making the walk a memorable experience by explaining all the aspects in detail and ensuring an engaging guest experience. Thanks to Mr. Abhinav Joshi at the recreation desk for assisting with recreation activities at the hotel and organising the Sainik Corn Village Tour at our request. The tour was well arranged and well guided by Mr. Ravi Sharma who ensured we have an amazing and memorable experience. An excellent property from the warm welcome to the heart-warming see-off; truly special from start to finish. Beautiful views, amazing rooms and impeccable hygiene. They arranged special room décor along with welcome and midnight cake surprises that made our celebration unforgettable. The JW Café team was wonderful, super warm hospitality, excellent food variety and service. Anas (@officialpahadibal), the live singer, was an absolute delight to watch perform. The hi-tea was equally great, with live music, snacks, refreshments and a fun housie arrangement that the whole family enjoyed. The property has some incredible photo spots and breathtaking views throughout. Room service and all other services were prompt and extremely helpful. We loved everything about this property and its services. Everything was just great. The location of the property is amazing with a very lively vibe. The evenings with live music is a great experience. The rooms are specious, neat and tidy with a beautiful Mountain View. Hand on heart, Mussoorie is so commercialized and bustling with tourists that I had permanently struck it off my travel list. The last time I visited this what used to be a quaint little hill town was in 2011 and sworn that it had been destroyed by greed. I don't blame the people who show up, which they should. It's poor planning that needs to be blamed for complete apathy and for its inability to preserve this beautiful town. So what changed my mind? The rave reviews to the hotel a definite yes. I was prepared to be underwhelmed as things that are hyped often disappoint. But its one of those rare properties that not only live up to the hype, they deliver an experience far greater than limited articulation and constrained review windows can describe. First things first, its far enough from the busy parts of Mussoorie but close enough to a touristy destination (which you can skip honestly). There's more than enough for you to do at the hotel and you'll never feel the need to leave. The views are spectacular, the rooms exquisite and well appointed. And the people, remarkable. It would be very hard for me to pick a thing that didn't work for me, and at the cost of being nitpicky, I would choose it to be the food. There's nothing spectacular about their specialty north Indian restaurant, Trout House or their coffee shop. They are good but not a patch on what you would expect from a luxury resort like the Walnut Grove. Their oriental restaurant although is mind-blowing. You don't expect authentic sichuan spices and fresh prawns, exquisite sushi at an altitude of 5000 feet. But what they do with those ingredients, which are fresh by the way, is pure magic - sushis, dimsums and et all... I am forgetting names to thank as always but will list the ones I remember. First shout out to the hospitality staff - Shalendra, Abhishek. They checked in on us frequently enough to ensure we were taken care of. Then the restaurant or service staff, absolutely remarkable (can't recall a single name, apologies), then Riya at the front office who took care of our 9 year old as her elder sister, and lastly Richa and team from the horticulture department for patiently answering so many of our inquisitive questions. I am glad we have found a new reason to visit Mussoorie more often. See you this winter. :)

Wow... just wow. We just got back from an incredible stay at the JW Marriott Walnut Grove Mussoorie (from May 18th to May 23rd), and honestly? I’m still thinking about it. The hospitality here is just next-level. They literally pamper you to the core from the second you step in.Funny story, actually... as soon as we arrived, it felt like a mini-reunion! We ran into Lateshwari from Guest Relations, and then Ashish, Ashu, and Jyoti over at the restaurant. We actually knew all of them from our New Year’s Eve stay at the Marriott Jaisalmer back on December 31st! Seeing their familiar faces again was such a great surprise, and, man, they haven’t changed a bit....still providing the absolute best service.The front desk team was also super amazing. Lucky handled our check-in and made everything so smooth and welcoming right from the start. And I have to give a massive shoutout to Subhash too... I’m a bit particular about my room, and he sat there, really listened to all my random preferences, and quickly arranged the perfect room for us without any hassle.If you are heading to Mussoorie and want to feel completely spoiled... yeah, this is the place. Huge thanks to the whole team for making our vacation so memorable. We will definitely be back!

Had an absolutely wonderful experience at JW Marriott Mussoorie. The entire team made our wedding celebrations and group stay truly memorable. A special thanks to Raunit, Deepali, Vivek, Abhishek, and Lokendra for their incredible support throughout the event. From handling the entire group check-ins smoothly to managing every little request with patience and professionalism, they went above and beyond to make everything perfect for us. The hospitality was exceptional, and the staff was extremely cooperative at every step. They even helped us with early check-ins, which made the arrival experience so comfortable for all our guests after long journeys. Every concern and requirement was handled promptly with a smile, and their coordination during the wedding functions was outstanding. The property itself is beautiful, but what truly made our experience special was the warmth, dedication, and effort of the entire team. I truly appreciate the exceptional hospitality and service provided by the the entire team. Even after the high tea timings were over, we were pleasantly surprised to receive freshly prepared hot pakoras, masala corn, tea, and biscuits specially arranged for us. This thoughtful gesture was truly beyond our expectations and made us feel extremely valued. My kids also received special service even in my absence. The team made sure they got everything they wanted, including a special dessert, which absolutely made their day. Thank you for memorable and comforting summer experience for our family and friends.Attention to every detail were genuinely outstanding. A trip that will last long in our list. Starting with the property one of the very rare places where you find everything for kids and adults. The area is having huge garden to relax walk around , sit quietly and enjoy the nature view. Numerous activities for kids including power cricket, golf and full indoor gaming zone which includes bowling and multiple other arcade games. Number of in house activities for young ones to keep them busy 😎 Food which is a big turning factor is giving this place a very high standard considering 5 star properties are not always good in taste but here the taste and variety both are phenomenal , breakfast had a good spread with amazing taste. Dessert lover will fine this place super cool as the dinner buffet is having huge spread. The specialist restaurants are a huge hit Vibe of the place is very mesmerising with live music in high tea breakfast and in specific restaurants. Coming to the people at the property each and every single person will make your stay memorable with a smile and helpful nature across the clock. We have the pleasure of support from Ria Bisht from CSR who was just always a message away. Shiva assistant director of food and beverage was so supportive about our dietary requirements hats off to him. Ravi Recreation manager made sure that kid is not getting bore thanks guys you made our journey memorable. Few Points which cab be added , some more hill specify items in high tea to show case the area specially. Open area can be utilised more

I had a wonderful experience at the JW with my family ! I was traveling with my 5 month old and a 2 year old. The room had a huge double queen sized bed and a breathtaking valley view. The food was excellent. The service was fabulous. Shiv Kalra was really nice. He came himself to meet us and make sure we are comfortable. Kalyan also helped us so much with our food requests. Abhishek Chamoli made sure he gets my bag that I had forgotten at breakfast before checkout, dropped to our next hotel. He was so kind. The high teas are amazing. Not worth missing at all. The kids play area really needs to be improved. It can be much better. Overall, if they have some baby gear for infants like bath tubs/ better rocking cots that would be nice.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff was polite, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile. The food was delicious, with a good variety of options available at breakfast and dinner. The hotel atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, making it perfect for a comfortable vacation. Housekeeping service was excellent, and all facilities were well maintained. The location was also convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and transportation. Overall, it was a pleasant experience & we really enjoyed. A special thanks and appreciation to chef Mr. SHIV SINGH for making and serving dinner with love and care.

The surprise anniversary cake arranged in our room was such a thoughtful and elegant gesture, and the hospitality throughout our stay was truly amazing. We also loved the evening activities and the warm cultural tea experience they hosted — it made the stay feel even more special. The property, views, and overall atmosphere were absolutely stunning. One day honestly felt too short. Overall, a wonderful and memorable stay!

My stay at JW Marriott Mussoorie Walnut Grove Resort & Spa felt like the perfect mountain escape - peaceful, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully managed in every detail. The location itself is stunning, tucked away from the crowd with uninterrupted valley views that made the mornings especially memorable from our valley-facing room. The room was spacious, extremely comfortable, and always impeccably clean, with housekeeping done every morning and a proper turndown service every evening that added a very polished touch to the stay. What I appreciated most was how the hotel balanced luxury with warmth. The evening activities created a lively atmosphere without ever feeling overdone, and even the outdoor activities were very smoothly organized and managed. A special mention to Balveer, who accompanied us during the activities and made the experience enjoyable. The food throughout the stay was consistently excellent, but the bakery section genuinely stood out. The pastries, breads, and desserts tasted freshly made every day and never felt stale; something that’s surprisingly rare even at premium properties. The staff across the resort was attentive, with special appreciation for Rohit Adhikari, whose hospitality and attention to detail made the experience feel even more personal. Overall, the property delivers not just on comfort and amenities, but on creating a stay that feels thoughtful from beginning to end.

We had a lovely stay at Walnut Grove Hotel in Mussoorie. The highlight of our mornings was undoubtedly the breakfast, a wonderful spread that we thoroughly enjoyed every single day. But the absolute highlight of our entire stay was the Tambola. We had an absolute blast and it was hands down the most fun we had on the whole trip. If you get the chance to join in, don’t miss it! What also set this hotel apart was the staff. Every team member went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Their warmth and friendliness made our stay feel genuinely special, and it’s the kind of hospitality that’s hard to forget. Would highly recommend Walnut Grove to anyone visiting Mussoorie. A gem of a property with a heart to match.
