Reviewed Aug 29, 2026Geteilte Meinung über die vierbeinigen Mitbewohner. Sehr angenehme Betten. Tolle Option für Strandhandtücher. Sofern einem das Konzept des Coliving gefällt.
Leider habe ich mich persönlich mit dem Konzept Coliving zu wenig befasst bzw. Waren die damit befundnenen Einschränkungen mit Gangbad sowie gmeinsamen Berreichen wie Küche/Essbereich insbesondere des Kühlschrankes eine Überraschung.

Reviewed Jan 25, 2026Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Lava Azores Coliving Haus/Villa. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, modern und bestens ausgestattet. Die große Küche und der offene Wohnbereich sind ideal zum Entspannen. Besonders praktisch ist auch der Arbeitsbereich mit Schreibtischen und Fitnessmöglichkeiten. Mareike ist eine tolle Gastgeberin, gibt jeden Tag hilfreiche Tipps zu Ausflügen und Restaurants. Die Lage ist zentral, sodass man die Insel schnell erkunden kann. Wir können die Unterkunft absolut empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder!

Miguel has built a lovely community which organises daily activities. For example during our stay we went surfing with the rest of the guests. An added bonus of our stay must be the house cat and the hammock!

Reviewed Aug 4, 2025Die Unterkunft hat uns sehr gut gefallen, da das Haus sehr riesig war und es viele Plätze gegeben hat zum zurückziehen. Jeder hatte sein eigenes Zimmer, das Bad musste man sich nur mit einer Person teilen und auch die Community die sehr viel gemeinsam unternahm.

Reviewed Sep 30, 2024Fantastyczne miejsce, idealna lokalizacja na środku wyspy, mila właścicielka, bardzo dobrze wyposażona kuchnia (herbata,kawa,przyprawy), wszystkie niezbędne sprzęty, bez problemu można przygotować jedzenie, bardzo duże części wspólne, zadbany ogród, taras, dostępne są nawet ręczniki na plażę, pralka i suszarka. Miejsce parkingowe dostępne przy obiekcie. 10/10 serdecznie polecam, można poczuć się jak w domu.

Reviewed Aug 29, 2024El alojamiento está genial, es una casa muy bonita . Tienes todo lo que puedas necesitar en la cocina compartida y Mareike se encarga de que siempre esté limpia y ordenada. El baño compartido es entre dos habitaciones y siempre estaba perfecto también. Además, te dejan toallas para ir a la playa y puedes usar la lavadora, lo que es un punto a favor.
Quizás la cama no nos pareció del todo cómoda (muy blando el colchón) y cuando otros huéspedes se levantaban se oía el ruido en toda la casa. Otra cosa incómoda es que había muchos perros en los alrededores y por la noche ladraban si parar.

Manca l' aria condizionata.Ci sono un ventilatore a soffitto e un deumidificatore. abbiamo un po' sofferto il caldo durante la notte, per cui abbiamo tenuto le finestre aperte, ma al mattino ci svegliavamo prestissimo. in ogni caso le altre comodità della struttura per noi compensavano questo disagio

Reviewed Aug 13, 2024Die gemeinsam genutzte Küche war 100% perfekt ausgestattet und blitzsauber. Kaffee, Gewürze, Milch und viele Küchenzutaten sind immer vorhanden. Unser Zimmer war sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und als Bonus hatten die Fenster Fliegengitter für nächtliches Lüften. Gastgeberin Mareike ist freundlich, unkompliziert und spricht auch deutsch. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Quelques odeurs en fonction du vent de la ferme bovine en contre-bas et des chiens qui aboient la nuit, mais c'est anecdotique et c'est la campagne

Reviewed Jun 21, 2024Camas cómodas, casa amplia y bien diseñada, toallas para ir a los balnearios al alcance de todos los húespedes. Bien conectado con la autopista aunque necesitas ir con tu propio coche. Supermercados y restaurantes cerca.
La limpieza de la cocina dependia, en la mayor parte, de los propios húespedes aunque la amfitriona realizaba cada mañana un repaso general.

She gave us lots of suggestions about visiting the island and even helped us navigate a health issue. We highly recommend this quiet retreat, centrally located on the island. We will be back!

Reviewed Jun 4, 2024Toto ubytování předčilo naše očekávání. Bylo to naše nejlepší ubytování, ve kterém jsme kdy byli :) . Vše je čisté a voňavé. Cítili jsme se zde jako doma. Dům je krásný, prostorný a má opravdu vše, co byste mohli potřebovat. V kuchyni je zdarma k dispozici káva. mléko, čaj, marmeláda ... Marieke je milá, velmi vstřícná a vždy se snaží zajistit, abyste se měli skvěle. Pobyt jsme si zde moc užili. Dokonce je tady i mazlící kočička. Poloha je ideální pro objevování celého ostrova. Múžeme všem doporučit. Děkujeme za krásnou dovolenou a rádi by jsme se sem vrátili.

Reviewed May 23, 2024Mareike je neskutečně ochotná a nápomocná. Tomu odpovídá i celé ubytování. Vše je čistě a voňavé. Pokoje uklizené a společně sdílené prostory taky. Ubytování předčilo veškerá naše očekávání a můžeme všem doporučit všemi 10.
Líbilo se nám vše a nemáme jedinou výtku.

Reviewed May 15, 2024El detalle que tuvo Mareike con nosotros cuando llegamos, su atención cuando la precisas y en el grupo de WhatsApp de la casa donde informa y recomienda cosas que pasan en la isla. Aún ser un lavabo compartido entre dos habitaciones, siempre estaba muy limpio y listo para usar. La cocina es muy grande y con el horario español tampoco coincidíamos con casi nadie. Mareike deja un espacio en los armarios y la nevera para que coloques tus alimentos. La habitación era muy grande, con mucho espacio en el armario. La cama muy cómoda. La casa siempre tiene aparcamiento en el exterior, es una calle muy tranquila de casas.
El ambiente húmedo de la habitación, las toallas de ducha no se secaban y para una semana era un poco justo. Suerte que Mareike deja toallas a disposición para las termas y la playa. Es una casa grande y una isla muy húmeda, así que supongo es una cosa normal, pero daba una sensación de cierta incomodidad.

Reviewed Apr 6, 2024Obiekt prowadzony jest przez prywatnego gospodarza, położony w centralnie części wyspy bardzo łatwo dostać się do wszystkich ważnych turystycznie destynacji. Jest w bardzo dobrej lokalizacji, 15 min drogi od lotniska i stolicy. Dom ma przepiękny i zadbany ogród, dwa wyposażone tarasy, bardzo dużą i dobrze wyposażoną kuchnię oraz dwie części wspólne z kanapami i TV, wszystko dostępne dla lokatorów. Przesympatyczna gospodarz poleciła nam kilka ciekawych miejsc oraz dobrych restauracji, bo z ich dostępnością i godzinami otwarcia bawa na wyspie różnie. Dużym plusem dodatkowe ręczniki z których mogliśmy dowoli korzystać podczas kąpieli w źródłach termalnych, oraz pralka i suszarka. W pokojach osuszacz powietrza warto używać przy dużej wilgotności i opadach oraz elektryczny grzejnik, którym można dogrzać w zimniejsze dni. Bardzo przydatne jeśli nie trafi się z pogdą tak jak my: bardzo deszczowo i ekstremalnie wietrznie. Ponadto na miejscu znajduje się również gabinet akupunktury oraz masażu. Komfort oraz swobodna atmosfera jaką zapewnia gospodarz sprawia, że to miejsce zdecydowanie zasługuje na najwyższe noty. Bardzo polecamy i z pewnością wrócimy

Reviewed Jan 29, 2024Soyez prêt à séjourner dans le meilleur hébergement de l'île ! Le rapport qualité-prix est juste fou ! La maison est splendide, majestueuse et parfaitement décorée. L'intérieur et les extérieurs sont parfaitement entretenus. Ne vous tracassez pas pour les salles de bains partagées : elles sont partagées avec très peu de monde donc nous n'avons jamais attendu pour l'utiliser et je vous garantis que c'est plus propre que chez vous ! Le linge de maison est parfait, vous avez accès aux extérieurs, à la cuisine et aux espaces communs de la maison. Vous avez le petit déjeuner chaque matin, avec une host adorable et extrêmement attentionnée et serviable ! Tout est pensé dans les moindres détails pour vous faire passer un séjour extraordinaires ! Environnement calme et paisible, stationnement facile. Foncez les yeux fermés !!! Merci encore à Mareike d'avoir contribuer à ces si belle vacance !

Casa davvero bella e molto accogliente, dispone di spazi di cui poter usufruire liberamente tra cui un terrazzo, una veranda, una sala con proiettore e altri ambienti. La host ci ha messo a disposizione anche una lavatrice e tutto l'occorrente per cucinare. La casa é in un'ottima posizione, a meno da dieci minuti da Ribeira Grande e a meno di venti minuti dalle principali attrazioni della parte Nord-Est dell'isola. Consigliatissimo!

Reviewed Nov 26, 2023This was one of our absolute favorite places we have stayed. The host was very helpful and friendly. The house was beautiful with plenty of space to hangout in the common areas. Rooms were big and there were large bathrooms. Some rooms share bathrooms and some have a private bathroom. Beautifully maintained yard. Breakfast provided in the morning. The kitchen had labeled cabinets and spaces in the fridge to store your items. Everything you needed to be able to cook was provided. All of the cabinets were labeled with the contents to help assist finding things. Washer and dryer available to use during your stay. We loved spending time with the hosts and other guests there. Location of the house was perfect. Supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Fairly centrally located on the island making it easy to visit the entire island but still close to the airport. Host also works with a local massage therapist/acupuncturist that will come to the house for massages and acupuncture- the price was great and the massages were the best we’ve ever had. We dream of the day we can go back!

Reviewed Sep 20, 2023La habitación era muy grande y con el baño muy bien equipado. Las zonas comunes están muy bien distribuidas, en el caso de la cocina está todo identificado y cada habitación tiene su mueble y su balda de la cocina personal. Todas las luces de la casa están etiquetadas para saber exactamente que luz vas a encender y lo hace todo más sencillo. Tienes la opción de hacer la colada una vez a la semana, cosa que teniendo en cuenta como es el tiempo en la isla está genial. El desayuno incluido estaba muy bien, y desayunar todos los días en el porche es algo que se echa de menos. La anfitriona es de 10, super amable desde el primer día y en todo momento nos preguntaba qué tal iba todo, si queríamos recomendaciones, etc. Está muy bien ubicado y te permite llegar rápidamente a cualquier parte de la isla, eso sí alquilar coche, lo veo imprescindible para moverse por la isla. Si en algún momento volvemos a ir a la isla, no dudaría en quedarme aquí de nuevo.

Reviewed Sep 8, 2023De service van de gastvrouw was goed. We mochten gebruik maken van alle mogelijkheden die een keuken biedt en van de wasmachine. Daarnaast was er veel gemeenschappelijke ruimte beschikbaar. De WiFi was goed.
Bij het uitchecken zagen we pas dat we een privebadkamer hadden geboekt en we hadden een gedeelde badkamer bij ons verblijf tot onze beschikking. Daarnaast hadden we een hogere verwachting van het ontbijt, gezien de goede reviews.

Todos los días dejaba en la cocina cápsulas de café y pan recién traído de la panadería, queso, mermeladas y mantequilla. Tenía a disposición de los huéspedes toallas para ir a las pozas y a la playa, así como la posibilidad de poner una lavadora y secadora semanal. Las habitaciones son muy amplias y con ventiladores en el techo. En frente de la casa hay parking gratuito. Repetiría.

Reviewed Aug 26, 2023Estuvimos muy a gusto. La ubicación es perfecta para recorrer la isla, la casa es cómoda, espaciosa y está todo muy limpio. Esta muy bien organizada con un espacio en la cocina y en el baño para cada habitación. Echaremos de menos los desayunos en el porche :)

Reviewed Aug 22, 2023La maison est immense avec plusieurs salons. Notre hôte était très gentille ! Le petit déjeuner est compris et complet. Il y a un coin lecture et un coin peinture, on peut aussi regarder des films en les projetant si on ramène notre ordinateur.
Le lit n'était pas très confortable car le matelas nous faisait pencher vers le milieu et la douche m'était du temps à chauffer.

Reviewed Aug 19, 2023Es hat einfach alles gepasst! Von dem wunderschönen Haus und Garten, die netten Bekanntschaften, die Umgebung, die liebe Gastgeberin. Ich habe das Haus mit einem lachenden und weinenden Auge verlassen. Lachenden, weil ich definitiv wiederkomme und das weinende, dass die Zeit so schnell vorbei ging. Einzige Anmerkung: Nicht nur für die Unterkunft, sondern für die Insel empfehle ich auf jeden Fall ein Mietwagen, Roller oder E-bike. Es gibt super viel zu sehen! Zur Hauptsaison auf jeden Fall früh genug das Auto mieten. Danke das ich zu Gast sein durfte ❤️

Reviewed Aug 11, 2023Es un lugar fantástico para alojarse en Sao Miguel. Te sientes como en casa y se nota que Mareike ha cuidado todos los detalles. Ella siempre está dispuesta a ayudarte en todo y ofrecerte recomendaciones para visitar la isla. Si algún dia volvemos a Sao Miguel no tenemos ninguna duda en que repetiremos este alojamiento, es increible! :)

The room and facilities was extremely clean, there was great outdoor spaces to hang out and enjoy the view and the hostess was so caring, gave great recommendations for food and activities and was always willing to help! The location is also perfect for exploring the island! I would highly recommend staying here!

Organizzazione ottima degli spazi comuni, cucina fornita di tutto il necessario. Disponibile uso libero lavatrice e asciugatrice. Buona colazione inclusa nel prezzo. Tutto perfetto!

Reviewed Jun 28, 2023Bardzo duży pokój, duży dom z dużymi przestrzeniami wspólnymi. Do dyspozycji w pełni wyposażona kuchnia, taras i pokoje relaksu. Duża wspólna łazienka o dobrym poziomie czystości. Codziennie rano świeże bułki, płatki i kawa w cenie pokoju. Przemiła właścicielka. Bardzo kontaktowa i pomocna. Dostępne ręczniki w nieograniczonej ilości, ja i ręczniki na plażę czy gorące źródła. Możliwość zrobienia prania raz na tygodniowy pobyt. My nie korzystaliśmy, ale jest taka opcja. Miejsca postojowe przed obiektem darmowe i zawsze dostępne. Lokalizacja na środku wyspy, bardzo blisko do trasy szybkiego ruchu, więc nie było żadnego problemu z poruszaniem się.

Reviewed Jun 12, 2023Wir haben uns total wohlgefühlt! Das Grundstück und das Haus sind sehr gepflegt, und liebevoll eingerichtet. Alles ist sehr sauber und die Küche ist bestens ausgestattet. Jedes Zimmer hat eigenen Stauraum in Küche/Badezimmer. Von unserem Zimmer aus hatten wir einen schönen Blick in den Garten, in dem sich immer einige Vögel tummeln. Das Haus ist ruhig gelegen und durch die zentrale Lage auf der Insel ein wunderbarer Ausgangsort, um schnell an alle Ecken der Insel zu gelangen. Alle gemeinsam genutzten Räume und Bereiche sind ebenfalls sehr gepflegt, man kann wenn gewünscht, mit anderen Gästen bzw. mit der Gastgeberin ins Gespräch kommen. Terrasse und Balkon sind bestens ausgestattet, in der Hängematte hätte ich gerne noch mehr Zeit verbracht :-) Das WiFi ist hervorragend. Für den Besuch von Strand bzw. den heißen Quellen werden extra Handtücher zur Verfügung gestellt. Mareike ist eine ganz wunderbare Gastgeberin! Wir würden definitiv wieder kommen!

All the rooms were very spacious, there is a huge kitchen with dishwasher and coffee machine, 2 big living rooms, 2 dining rooms and spacious coworking spaces, plus a private office if you need to separate yourself and work. There is also a big terrace and a balcony with the view of green hills and ocean (the building is not next to the ocean, but you can see the ocean from the balcony). There is a washing machine which you can use as well, hair dryers, shower gel, etc. Besides towels you receive for your room, there is a shelf with beach towels you can use and there are fresh towels every day. Each room has their own spaces in the kitchen, everything is well organized and marked, even the light switches are marked so that you do not need to remember which one is for the corridor/living room/.. We were very impressed and actually felt like at home. The owner is a very kind lady, very helpful and nice!

Reviewed Jun 5, 2023I really enjoyed staying here. The house is beautiful and really has everything you might need. I’m a digital nomad so this is also a great option for anyone in the same situation: Wi-Fi works perfectly, there are a lot of places from which you can work from, the kitchen is very well equipped with anything you could need for your cooking, a beautiful garden and balcony from which you can work from as well. Marieke is super nice, very welcoming and she is always trying to make sure you’re having a great time. I’ll definitely try to come back :)
I felt very safe in this area. I would recommend however you’d get a car or bike to move around.

Reviewed Jun 2, 2023Huge and beautiful house with the parking outside. The place is suitable for co-working (fast and excellent quality Wi-Fi). Everything looks brand-new. You can find whatever you need in the house. Mareike is very nice and helpful. We liked this place very much.
