Reviewed Aug 15, 2026Beautiful house, beautiful view. Loved the outdoor decking area. Clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Lovely hosts that went above and beyond. 2 boys age 7 and 10 loved the house .. having a 2nd tv for their games was great and they played football in the garden. We were lucky the killybegs festival was on .. Great live music and a small carnival. The best local food for both eating in and out. Pitch and putt about 20 mins away with beautiful views. Close to Donegal town. We had a great week. Thank you 😄

Reviewed Jul 18, 2026I liked the location of the property. Bottle of wine some crisps and a couple small boxes of cereal. Well equipped kitchen although we didn't eat in much.
I felt the property could've been cleaner as floors had few stones scattered around living room and bedroom. Also living room had a slight dog smell. Bottom panels on some doors very dusty. Empty air freshener can in bathroom on arrival

Reviewed Sep 15, 2025Extremely well maintained , fully equipped and very comfortable bungalow with lovely views to the rear. Very quiet location. Nice terrace although we didn’t use it as the weather was a bit iffy. Own driveway with space for probably 3 cars. The town is a within few minutes walk (go downhill). Turn right outside the driveway and a short walk through the cemetery to reach the main road and the SuperValu supermarket which is really nice. 3 TVs and lots of channels although only the smaller one in the main bedroom has the “normal” channels. On another review, someone mentioned that they had trouble finding the place. Just look for the 2 large convex mirrors at the top of driveway.
There was only 2 of us staying but if there were more then just one shower/wc room could be an issue but this didn’t affect us.

Reviewed Aug 4, 2025Davvero un cottage bellissimo! Siamo rimasti davvero soddisfatti. Consiglio a chi cerca la tranquillità in un contesto autentico (pur avendo i servizi a portata di mano) . La casa è davvero enorme, ben arredata e fornita di tutto ciò che serve, e con una vista stupenda. Ci siamo innamorati!

The cottage was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. A lovely touch was the welcome basket of treats! I had a small query and the owner dealt with it quickly, very approachable and helpful.

It was extremely comfortable with lovely views over the bay and had a comfortable and well equipped decking area. Its location was ideal to local shops, restaurants and a perfect base for exploring the Donegal coastline and places of interest I would definitely stay there again

Reviewed May 15, 2025Beautiful modern house in a lovely quiet location within walking distance of Killbegs town It has nice views of the estuary, a nice garden & decking for eating outside. Extremely comfortable, warm,cosy & has everything you need. Lovely welcome box left for us too & the house is spotlessly clean. The host was always available if needed & very helpful. I could not recommend the house highly enough. You will love it too !!!

Reviewed Nov 12, 2024We spent 2 days here the house was spotless ,very cosy and clean,kitchen has everything you need ,livings room with 2 tv which was great for our kids ,bathroom clean and plenty clean towels, we just love it 😍the view spectacular had the best weather for it.The hosts are very helpful they respond so quickly to us ,hope to go again and explore more about Donegal .The killybeg port is just a short walk from where we stay nice restaurants and food very good
