Good beds.

No closet. No towel rods. No place to hang anything. Floor was dirty. Too expensive for what we got!!

Rooms were under renovation and incomplete, with holes in the walls for future lights; the bathroom was missing ventilation and any place to put cosmetics. The bed was very hard. When we provided this feedback on checking out we were told that the owner had decided to keep the motel open despite unfinished renos and yet we were charged full price and given no advance warning about the state of the rooms when booking or checking in.

Location is really convenient, and the balcony was so nice looking over the river. Bed was comfortable and the room was super clean.

I wouldn’t say anything bad about the property as I know if we travel Back we would visit again. We did have our small dog with us and it would have been nice to have a small table area either by the restaurant or near our room we could eat outside and not in our toom.

Pas grand chose de bien à part l’emplacement de l’hôtel.

Les odeurs de la chambre ; un mélange entre tabac, humidité et renfermé. Une prise murale cassée La porte du frigo qui ferme mal L’impossibilité de se connecter à Internet à 18h00. Il faut attendre 4h00 du matin pour avoir la connexion. L’aspect vieillot du mobilier et des équipements. La literie de mauvaise qualité. Une rénovation complète s’impose !!!!

Fantastic location but doesn’t compensate for the other issues. This is my third stay here but it’s likely my last.

Arrived on a Tuesday to discover the restaurant was closed. Toilet was dirty. Room was so small and cramped that it was claustrophobic. Bathroom looked like it had been recently renovated but no towel bars installed and the shower head in the shower stall was installed at a height that the spray basically went over the stall wall and soaked the floor. Couldn’t get TV to work. Overall, a very disappointing stay.

L’accueil avec la propriétaire est cordiale, elle m’a donné les consignes à suivre. Je lui ai mentionné qu’elle n’aurait rien à me reprocher lors de mon départ.

My room on the second floor was good but the smaller room on the ground floor, booked for my mom, was a bit dark and stuffy.

Well located motel in Grand Falls with nice views. Rooms are large, comfortable beds and plenty of towels alongside a bath & shower with amazing water pressure. Great Parking.

The Restaurant. Our experience was let down by our dinner. We entered the restaurant at 7.30pm just after we checked into our rooms, which was a quick, pleasant check in. We noted signs saying they were short staffed however this was not mentioned by the staff. We also noticed a large group of bikers in the corner who were very loud, laughing and obviously enjoying themselves at dinner, so there was a good atmosphere in the restaurant. We were seated quickly at a lovely table. When we ordered we found a lot of our 1st choices were unavailable, this was ok as we assumed it was a busy spot and they had been busy during the day (a Sunday) so we then chose alternative meals. After ordering we were again informed that one of our choices was not available so again we picked an alternative, but this was all fine by us. After about an hour, we were still waiting for our food and were having a great time laughing and talking with our 3 young children (4-9), but were then notified by the waitress that a neighbouring table had complained about the noise level at our table. The table who made the complaint, were seated after us and had received their meal whilst we were still waiting. They had requested to be moved but the waitresses refused their request, even though the restaurant was now nearly empty, and instead told us to keep the noise down. They finished their meal and paid before we had recieved any food. Being told to be quiet really put a dampener on our evening. We were a family of 7, dining together, not a bachelor party. The noise level was not unacceptable for a party with children. After 90 minutes, we received our food order, however only 5 out of 7 meals arrived. The waitress failed to notice that 2 of our party hadn’t received meals and when we asked her where the food was she walked off to the kitchen and had to come back and ask us what meals we hadn’t received.

Did not partake in breakfast. The location is fantastic and easily accessible from the major highways. The view is spectacular. The room was well appointed and the walk in shower appreciated.

We were disappointed that the restaurant was closed. However, the staff pointed out lots of options and the one we chose was very nice.

Room was crowded. Too much furniture for a small room. Bathroom was tiny and not much room between the toilet and bathtub. Bathroom sink was small and you had no where to put anything. Could be a great room if the layout was different and bathroom was bigger.

Staff team very kind and accommodating, restaurant view was lovely. Room had all the utensils and appliances we’d need for one night.

Strong smell the entire time including in extra blankets. No late night eats around, as a heads up! We arrived past 9 pm and thankfully had some leftover snacks in the car.

The location of the motel is exceptional, you can get a room with a view of the falls and you can enjoy the view of the falls when having the very good warm breakfast. You choose a breakfast from a menu! Parking is not a problem at all.

The staff was very friendly but unexperienced: They serve coffee with milk without a spoon. If you say you want to see the room first they reply that you have to pay for the room first. As said they are very friendly but be prepared to explain them how things work. Our room seemed to be half finished: One part looked great the other part as if something was not done yet: A wastewater pipe was visible on the wall, the opening closed with a tape. A massive ground cable points to a round table. A new round table top could be found leaning on the wall so we could play around with it. The bathroom had a fancy heated mirror but the toilet seat was not tightened. The sofa bed was prepared but since several supporting springs were missing we had to move the mattress on the ground. The situation was so absurd that we had actually a lot of fun.

It was in a great location and it was very clean. The staff was very friendly and apologetic even though the check-in time at four was not available they did compensate with breakfast vouchers.

The room was very nice. It looked like they might’ve been in the middle of renovations. The headboard didn’t seem to be all together and the holes were in it. I believed to put in some reading lamps, but they weren’t there yet. I’ve been heard that the property changed hands so they might’ve been in the middle of renovations.

Very easy location and parking. Perfect location beside the falls. Staff are fantastic and very friendly. Very quick response to any request or problem. Breakfast was quite enjoyable, though the ordering of the “included” breakfast was just a little confusing.

Can’t say “didn’t like”. New housekeeping staff, so missing a sheet on one bed…however, front desk sent a request and problem was resolved, even though it was much later in the day.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The room was very clean, comfortable, and cozy. The bed was extremely comfortable, and we had a great night’s sleep. The shower was excellent, and the bathroom was well stocked with quality amenities. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. We also loved the restaurant—the food was delicious, and the breakfast was outstanding. Everything exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again. We booked for King suite, but the bed was a queen. We brought our 12-year-old grandson and there was a pull out, but it didn’t have any pillows. There were no extra pillows in the room.
