La propriétaire des lieux est trés désagréable. Lors de notre arrivée elle nous a aboyé dessus car nous n'étions pas garé là ou il fallait. Sachant que rien n'est mentionné pour savoir où se stationner... pas aimable dû tout. Par contre, la personne qui prépare les petits déjeuners est une personne adorable. Super gentille et bienveillante

There was a large dog that alternated between being friendly and barking. A bit unpredictable.

Nothing, but it’s good to know that because it’s a historic building, there are only stairs to get to the upstairs bedrooms and they are fairly steep.

Man sollte mit einem Hund klarkommen und wir haben den Fernseher nicht zum Laufen bekommen. Das war aber vlt.unser Fehler.

(I think there was a microwave.) For lunch and/or dinner, literally down the street, about 3 blocks on the other side is Lynda's Kitchen. Great homemade food, really friendly people.

Das Frühstück war lecker und wurde aus einer kleinen Auswahl an warmen Speisen frisch zubereitet. Parken konnte man am Haus und der Weg in den Ort und zu den Grand Falls ging gut zu Fuss.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Das B&B ist wirklich etwas Besonderes und absolut empfehlenswert. Wir waren auf der Durchreise vom Fundy Nationalpark nach Québec City. Wir hatten leider den Verkehr völlig unterschätzt und kamen später an als erwartet, wurden aber dennoch super freundlich und herzlich empfangen, was wir sehr zu schätzen wussten. Unser Zimmer war großzügig und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, man kam sich ein bisschen vor wie in einem herrschaftlichen Gebäude aus einer anderen Zeit. Sehr besonders und viel Liebe zum Detail. Das Bett war sehr bequem und das Zimmer oder besser gesagt das ganze Haus sehr sauber. Das selbstgemachte Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr lecker, besonders mit den lokalen Lebensmitteln. Parkplätze gab es direkt in der Einfahrt, das Haus war leicht zu finden mit Google Maps. Wir waren sehr positiv überrascht und würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Wir kamen gegen 18.00 Uhr an und sagten, dass wir am nächsten Morgen früh fahren möchten und ob es möglich wäre statt des bezahlten Frühstücks um 08.00 Uhr ein Sandwich o.ä. für die Fahrt bekommen könnten. Das war aber nicht möglich.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Loved the house and the location. Grand Falls was a favorite stop in our two week tour of the Northeast US plus New Brunswick and PEI. All the people we encountered in the B&B were lovely. The location was perfect for our visit to the falls (we are geology junkies) and the near by restaurant was excellent as well.
Having a bit of a senior handicap (walk with a cane) I had some trouble with the steep stairs. This isn't a major problem because I traveled with a friend, but I would like a note that stairs are required to reach bedrooms on the B&B listing so that I'm prepared.

Reviewed Nov 5, 2025House was reasonably appointed and the downstairs was lovely. There were no cleanliness issues. The stairs were one of the issues. Lucky we were still able to carry our bags up. Bathroom was small & rustic, The bedroom decor was dated. In fairness we seldom stay at Air B&B's so this historic house was a bit not our style. Lynn the breakfast lady was absolutely lovely.
