Carlos at reception desk was very helpful, as were staff. He recommended local restaurants, store and arranged taxi to ferry. Breakfast included 2 beverages and breakfast entree.
Everything
Nothing in particular
Todo buenísimo, limpio y bello
Todo me gustó, súper limpio, cómodo y el personal amable. La comida rica
Location was great, easy access to the beach and pool. One of the tourist attraction site was very close by. Much more quieter than the center.
Todo
Nada todo es de 10
Stayed 5 nights at Casa de Los Sueños and didn't want to leave! This boutique hotel is the perfect place to unplug, swim, and watch the waves. The food at Kin Ha was delicious and the receptionists were always very helpful (shout out to Francisco)! We went to the Playa Norte once or twice, and while the beaches there are stunning, we were happy to go back to the quiet side of the island to our cozy Casa :)
Only downside was one side of the bed was pretty hard, but the other was comfortable (two beds pushed together).
The infinity pool was beautiful and right outside our room, so swam in it at night…really nice! Kin Ha was great and practically connected-we enjoyed jumping off the pier and the good food/drinks. We like the location but is 15-20 minutes from the main north beach and food options, but the local food places nearby are all great too! Our room had a beautiful ocean view! AC was great!
The breakfast at Kin Ha didn’t open until 8, and we had to leave by then so we only got one day of the free breakfast, but it was very good:)
Beautiful ocean views from all the pools and restaurant. Quiet. Large rooms. Good food. Great service.
Bed a little hard.
Everything. Especially Carlos.
It was windy
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure your stay was perfect. Special shout outs to Carlos, Roger, and Jessi.
Golf cart broke down but that was a minor inconvenience.
The pool area was pleasant. The vie was nice from our room
It was a bit rundown. It needs some TLC It was pricey for the quality The only close restaurant plays loud music all day
Excellent location and staff was amazing!!!!
Very little to no hot water and water pressure
Carlos the manager was friendly and helpful. We would definitely return!
Authentic, great view, nice connect to restaurant Kin Ha. Carlos the day hotel assistant was fabulous!
Room lacked comfort, no chairs, bedding and little thin. No outlet in the bathroom, no mirror in main bedroom. Pool bar should be operational
One of the best locations on the island. Presidential Suite is expansive, large clean beautiful private pool, million dollar views. Staff is very friendly and professional. Included breakfast has 8-10 options and is freshly prepared and delicious.
Property is clean and well maintained but dated, kinda tired. Presidential Suite kitchen very sparsely furnished.
Love, love this property. People are great, location is amazing and sister property Kin Ha makes the trip worthwhile. Highly recommend it.
It’s a boutique hotel very few rooms, but we mixed feelings about the hotel. Although fair price the facilities are very far from good quality.
Shower water weak almost like non at all. Warm water ? Forget about it it comes after 5 minutes wait. The breakfast is served only with one choice from the menu and very strict . The beach is nice but very small. Again you are being priced but it’s what you get
I liked the no edge (infinity) pool. I loved all of the Talavera and traditional details. The entry is beyond beautiful. I liked the plants. Thank you to this boutique property for being pet-friendly and including a big breakfast each morning available to you until noon! The room was just perfect as well, all you need. And last and most importantly, the staff are fabulous! The beach club, Kin Ha, below staff are exceptional. Shout out to Carlos at check in and for any want we had. Shout out to Juan and Sol at Kin Ha beach club!
Nothing
Everything! The staff were so friendly and helpful, the room and view were fantastic, the food was excellent and portions were very large. I felt very safe and well cared for. And Maggie, Martin, and Nina (the lovely four legged staff members) were adorable!
There was nothing I didn't like.
A perfect location and warm ambience coupled by attentive staff
Very little! The only thing I’d recommend is that the breakfast options be expanded to include some lighter/healthier options.
Carlos, Roger, Roberto and Chris are there for you and do their best to provide you with information and what you need to have a wonderful time
Great staff
Nice, comfortable rooms, good views. Supportive and helpful staff. Easy to get taxi to events. This is a much quieter location away from the chaos of North Beach area.
Not sure it was the best value,$300/ night but it does include a restaurant breakfast. There is no beach which is not clear from the website.
Excellent views, friendly and helpful staff. Would stay here again.
The location is amazing and the service very good. Good bed and nice view from the room (we stayed in King Suite). It was easy to move around the island from the hotel and we enjoyed the silence since all the party life is on the northen part of the island. Kin Ha restaurant / beach club is great!
The housekeeping / cleaning was not "5 star" in our standards. We didn't get clean towels even thoug we stayed over a week and the floor was not clean even after cleaning. Other parts of the hotel were clean all the time. Breakfast is ala carte and there is a lot to choose from. It is very mexican - american and we kind of missed all the fresh and healthy stuff like yogurt, vegetables, cereal....Good size portions though.
The view was gorgeous!!!!
Wonderful hotel! The property is amazing! We booked an ocean view room and the view was stunning. The property also has an infinity pool with just as gorgeous view as the site’s photos. If not better! The hotel is connected to a lovely restaurant, Kin Ha, that has a gorgeous dock and water front lounging area. It is very nice as the best loungers are reserved for hotel guests. The breakfast that comes with the room is excellent. You can eat at Kin Ha or go to Mayan Club at Playa Norte (the downtown busy part of the island). The staff were all so kind and helpful. Highly recommend!
Nothing!
Love this hotel- will stay here again-Kin Ha Beach Club was awesome!
Welcoming manager Carlos, great position and facilities, great pool and view back to Can Cun, great breakfast and access to water park and restaurant.
Nothing - All good
Gorgeous hotel with large and beautiful bedrooms. Staff is very helpful and kind.
There was some noise in the morning due to construction work.
Comfortable, quiet, staff went above and beyond.
The host was amazing! Thanks Carlos and Roberto for you kindness! This place is a jam beautiful view design and great people and atmosphere! I wish I could’ve stay there more
All was perfect
Staff, accommodations and all were fantastic. The dogs and cat on property where a calming delight along with a friendly atmosphere. Presidential suite had everything I could have asked for.
Did not get a bottle of champagne at stated in the listing for the Presidential suite I stayed in. Also, was not told that rental of golf cart would be a separate charge .upon check out once I checked in. I was told at check out of the additional charge. That part was disappointing and unexpected.
gorgeous, amazing staff, charming
pools were very very warm and not refreshing
beautiful views and authentic Mexican architecture Chris and Carlos were so helpful setting up our transportation and getting us a golf cart for our stay. Can’t wait to come back.
The facilities are great. You are away from the most touristy area of the island, in a nice place near the south tip. The hotel is great, with a nice private pool and a great view. It's also paired with a beach-club that you can access as you want. It was a great few days for some family rest for some "time in paradise". And the staff and owner were always very helpful!
It was not a problem for us, as we rented a golf cart to move around, but it's a bit away from the north part of the island with has the very nice Playa Norte beach. Not a problem at all for us, but take it into account of you are staying at this hotel.
Nice view from the room. Beach area close by
Overpriced Wrong information on room description (room. Size) Restaurant attached to hotel is bad.
loved the hotel my room the staff beach bar right below amazing view from room
location and everything that’s offered
the ocean views
no beach, too far away from everything else, no sidewalks, too much traffic, expensive buses & taxis you can rent golf carts and mopeds but they are also expensive. one has to have plenty of money to go yo the island.
First of all the location is perfect. Despite what we had heard, Isla Mujeres was not at all “laid back”…it was the most crowded place we visited on our trip to Riviera Maya but Casa de Los Suenos, at the southern end of the island was away from the hustle. It has a local flavor and most of the people using the pool and beach were not guests of the hotel but rather nearby regulars paying per day use. We loved this about it. The beach/pool/dining/bar area was a lot of fun, very lively. Excellent food there with multiple levels and activities we all enjoyed. It just had a great vibe and energy. The little rope swing and decent snorkeling were highlights
shower was not hot. Lower pools were not clean. Stick to the upper pool or really the docks/beach are the best.
great sea view fantastic mattress
serious ant problem in the room zero room cleaning during a 3 night stay not a 5 star hotel by any stretch of the imagination indifferent reception staff @ 330usd a night very disappointing
I honestly don’t think we will ever stay in a nicer hotel in the western hemisphere. We stayed in the serenity suite and the tripsdcisor photos don’t do it justice, it’s massive and the view from the jacuzzi and shower is incredible They reserve the premium seats on the deck for hotel guests The food was incredible The staff could not do enough for you, especially Carlos and the owner when I couldn’t make the parking brake on my golf cart work.
we didn’t stay long enough
Hygiene facilities were very good as well as the beds and pretty much every other part of the room. Great view of the beach, amazing swimming pool and the staff gave useful recommendations.
The mini fridge, although being well-stocked, was quite noisy and the room was never cleaned or re-made, which might be normal practice in the hotel, but we would have preferred otherwise.
the location away from the busy streets are perfect, the view amazing! and the pool area and waterfront area was great too
when we arrived we had some problems with breakfast, the booking we made trough here was not the same they had, so they wanted us to pay extra for one more person, after that, we had a feeling that one of the two receptionist didn’t like us very much and we didn’t do anything wrong, we showed them booking confirmation etc. not a great feeling. The beds in the room was really bad sleeping in - way to soft and noisy. the room was okay but dark and needed some love. the restaurant is ok but not great food a stranded I guess. The pool area buy the beach looked a bit sad and need some love too, but was functional
The property is so open and airy! The infinity pool is so clean and inviting. This resort only offers eleven rooms so I never had to jockey for a seat by the pool - I actually never shared the sundeck with more than two people during my entire stay.
Some people might be disappointed there aren’t tv’s in the rooms.
location, view from room, proximity to Kin Ha
Could have used a real couch or a couple of chairs to sit on inside the room. Also an outlet near the bed for the CPAP machine.
Issues with room (dark, no privacy, no seating, shoddy features, etc). Great view and pool. Great breakfast at Kin Ha and staff was wonderful.
Room was very small and very dark even with lights turned on. No chairs in room - only seating option was bed. Slider opened to pool area limiting room privacy as any one in pool or walking by could see into our room. Many items in room (lamps and drapery) shoddy and in disrepair and limited lighting.
Location was hood, nice view to the sea, property was very clean
Very outdated property, overpriced, food was terrible, beds very hard and uncomfortable, towels were old & mismatched - looked like someone brought them from home, tried to cheat on the exchange rate and overcharge from The restaurant
everything. quite, amazing views, friendly staff, the restaurant downstairs had good food. definitely would recommend!
nothing really.
Great staff and excellent swimming and snorkelling. Take the collective outside the hotel room to get into town centre.
Bed a little soft
A quite hotel with access to the beach in the south area of Isla Mujeres. The breakfast was great and the beach was amazing.
A little expensive.
Hotel and the place are very beautiful.
very beautiful property. calm and relaxing
a bit overpriced for location and amenities
There is nothing bad I can say about this hotel. The staff, the room, the views, the pools, everything was absolutely perfect.
This boutique hotel was perfect! The location is beautiful, away from the busier parts of the island, so peaceful, but town was just a quick taxi ride away. The staff was the most helpful and fun of all the places I have stayed.
I do not recommend going to casa de los suenos at all!!! I was there one night and regretted every dollar I paid. Bad service, excessive price and get nothing, everything you can do at the hotel beach you can do on the north side of the island for free. I waited a full hour for breakfast which was poor and not tasty at all. At any every moment the waiters demand a tip for nothing. Very disappointing!
