-Acqua di mare praticamente sporca (non raccolgono via le alghe) -colazione lascia desiderare -lo staff alla reception praticamente era fissato sul telefono a messaggiare mentre eravamo in check-in con i bambini, ho dovuto chiedergli se potessi concentrarsi un attimo e farmi finire il check in.

Bad experience, bad attitude from staff

Beach is so bad, it’s not North coast sea at all. Pool is not clean. House keeping are not professional and respond lately always.

The location and the views of the sea and pool are beautiful. The property has great potential, but unfortunately the overall experience did not meet our expectations.

For a relatively new property, the rooms and furnishings feel surprisingly old, worn and poorly maintained. In our apartment, the bedroom door handle was actually broken and had come off. The service around the pool and beach was also very poor. Getting something as simple as a towel or a drink required a lot of effort and often meant looking for staff ourselves instead of receiving proper service. The beach also needs better cleaning and maintenance, especially from the weeds in the water. There should also be proper beverage service at the beach and pool, with drinks served properly chilled. Overall, many details that should be expected from a high-end resort were simply missing.

الشاطئ كان رائع المسابح و الاكوابارك منظمين و نظيفين و السباحه فيهم ممتعه اذا حاجز شاليه او فيلا تقدر تركن سيارتك على باب الشاليه بيمنحك شعور روعه انك ساكن في بيتك المكيفات من احسن ما يكون في كل اقسام الفندق و الشاليه الموظفين بدون استثناء في جميع الاقسام محترفين ودودين متعاونين و استجابتهم سريعه تقدر بس تعمل تشك اوت و تسلم الشاليه تكمل يومك عادي و تسبح و فيه اماكن تاخد فيها شاور بعد ما تخلص

لا يوجد فعاليات في النهار للتسليه لا يوجد فعاليات بالليل ولا حفلات و تسليه للأطفال بس ممكن اذا معك سياره تروح العلمين قريبه ربع ساعه بالسيارة فيها كافيهات و مولات و مطاعم تقدر تسهر هناك انا كنت حاجز فل بورد الاكل في البوفيهات طعمه طيب و لذيذ بس المشكله انه متكرر كل يوم و ما فيه تنوع

The food was not good at all, my husband and daughter became sick from the second day’s dinner, most probably from the fish. The water is very weak at night, the water heater doesn’t work at night

قدم الاثاث النظافة تحتاج الى اهتمام اكثر الالعاب المائية تحتاج لوسائل سلامة عدم وجود اي خدمات قريبة صعوبة وصول اوبر للفندق

House keeping was terrible didn’t like the standard of hygiene. Had to change rooms due to a very bad smell within the rooms. Every request we made took a very long time to achieve or to fix any issues. Sara the receptionist staff was amazing at helping us resolve our issues. Hygiene was the biggest issue we had at this resort. It made us feel sick that this was acceptable. Our bedsheets and microwave was dirty and our fridge kept leaking. Everything melted all our ice creams and drinks etc. The wifi was terrible very weak connections struggled with this throughout the stay. Electricity also went out for 15 mins for all the chalets and villas but inside hotel was fine. It felt like everyone who stayed outside of hotel had a rough time. We Will not recommend staying in chalets here. Over all Venue is stunning to look at it. Comfortability will be testing.

The resort is huge and has many facilities and restaurants 2 pools and the beach activities are amazing and the staff are great specially Ms. Remonda the guest relation was a great problem solver and very keen to help us and make our stay more comfortable

The Suite is nice and modern with wonderful sea view .. Mrs. Sara from the guest relations is the main reason for giving this establishment a 4 instead of 1 she has done everything she can to rectify the mistakes people made ... the beach is nice with wave barriers.

lets start with the staff from the reception who rarely if ever reply to our calls to the housekeeping who doesn't reply at all to the concierge who are so slow an unresponsive they are the worst trained staff i have ever met combined with a fully booked hotel and you can see hell .. the buffet is basic at best .. i was sick and called the reception to send a doctor and no one showed for almost an hour that I had to seek outside help .. the room service is awful .. and the waves cafe closes at 11 pm !!!.

الشاطي وحشششش زباله في كل حته و ريحته بشعه لا يمت لي شواطي الساحل بصفه ده مش بحر الساحل معرفش بسبب الصدادات الصخريه و لا موقع الفندق لكن اكتر من سئ . موظفين الاستقبال قمه قله الزوق و بياخروكم بدون سبب زيي موظفين الشهر العقاري قمه التناحه و قله الزوق ميعرفوش يتعاملو مع الجيست الاكوا سيئه جدا و محتاجه صيانه و العوامات مفيهاش هندل تمسك فيها كلها مقطوعه امسك في رجل زميلك و متهالكه البول كلها غير نظيفه ابدا مليانه حشرات و اوساخ و الناس بتنزل تغسل شباشبها في البول و عادي !! كل الكراسي و الشاذلونجات غير نضيف و متهالكه الفندق ايدا لا يرتقي بخمس نجوم اخره نجمتين لا انصح لي ايي حد نفسه يشوف بحر الساحل ابدا لا يمت بصله .. ميستحقش ابدا سعره فندق مفهوش راحه نفسيه بسبب عدم النضافه

After a bad experience happened in Porto Marina, I moved immediately to Gewan Resort, and from the first moment I met Ziad and Amru, I came to know the quality starting from choosing the staff. Both gentlemen make our stay so smooth and comfortable, they are checking on each single detail and they were so helpful. Insha'Allah, next visit, I will spend it there again and see you very soon.

They don’t have direct phone contact for front desk . After I checked out I forgot one important item in the room and couldn’t find any way to call the front desk or the lost and found department to ask about it . I sent email and replied after one week after I already traveled from Cairo to the hotel to collect it .

Location on north coast was good. Staff are kind and dedicated willing to help and professional. Cleanness

The beach is far from the see itself, the see is not clean, the plumbing is not good with some times there is no water, carpentering is so bad and doors and windows are not fitting properly. Mosquito screens doors are cut and not moving properly. There is no fumigation for mosquitoes and flying insects. Difficult to reach by google map as there are a lot of detours and unpaved roads

Almost 2 hours to check in, chalet hygiene and cleanliness is really bad, the beach is not as nice as expected, the water is not clean and smells, not really safe for kids after few steps there is no ground, no toilets or good showers near the beach, food is average don’t expect something fancy.

Salah Ahmed the assistant front office manager is the stand out caliber among all the staff I dealt with. Beach and Aqua-park.

- All staff require service training from the gate to resultants, the chefs, everyone. They don’t know how to address guests. Very disappointing conversations at the restaurant during dinner with the waiters , the chefs , everyone . - Poor facility that require full renovation . They give you a suite that feels like a a non touristic rented apartment with no maintenance! Even the bed had problems. Very disappointing conversations.

The food was nice, beach is clean and not that far. The staff is amazing and very hospitable. Special thanks to Ms Sarah the reception manager, there was a delay in checking in and she helped us settle in the soonest available unit, even upgraded our booking for free to resolve the issue.

Breakfast, the beach staff and fair view

The room was very bad, nothing clean, dirty floor and furniture, bad smell, toilet spots in the toilet and the housekeeping guy smelled really bad and used the cleaning staff wrongly. In fact, They tried to compensate us with a free launch but the food was really bad, the room after cleaning was not perfect. I can't imagine how the hotel rate is 5 stars

This is not a resort but publicly owned condos with some rooms available for stays, way over priced for half baked accommodation. Large pool was off limits for use which has a permanent sign on display, save your money and stay somewhere else. Avoid Avoid, I am still in dispute with Booking.com and the property as false advertising. Highly not recommended. Paid USD$1049 for 2 night stay mid August 2026, for half board which was way too expensive for this kind of stay, only reason we booked this called resort, we had to attend a pre booked concert in Golfo Alamein.

There was nothing to like, it's like staying in a publicly owned property and not as a resort stay. Avoid to say the least. it is like going to a market at hotel reception and going to a public beach with communal sweaming pool.

Nice facilities and good aqua park for kids, beach is nice. Sea view chalet was big enough for family, staff is helping always either in room service or in the restaurants by led by Mr. Salam their manager

sea water smell is so bad mostly because of the barriers they put so sea water circulation is not happening mostly ! One more thing as they don’t serve any coffee and there is no machine for latte/cappuccino or whatever in the restaurant and if you want it’s on chargeable basis which is ok for me as long as it’s the hotel policy but I was surprised that Mr.Sherif the F&B manager added to me that is standard in all 5 stars hotels inside Egypt like Rixos, Hilton and others and also hotels around the globe that there is no coffee standalone machine during breakfast!! So I hope he corrects his information quickly :)

honnêtement je n’ai rien aimé, rien à était bien, je cherche juste une chose positive dans cet hôtel, mais il y’a rien.

Je n’ai pas aimé le nettoyage de cet hôtel, il nous ont donné une chambre très crade, mal nettoyé, des cheveux partout. je n’ai pas aimé comment un certains réceptionniste nous parle, 0 émotion, 0 expression juste aigri. Leur ATM d’échange d’argent m’a volé 200 dollars et je n’ai jamais pu les récupérer, banque of misr ne veut pas me les rendre

View or the rooms was good. Pool and beach access was good.

Rusty balcony seats, the room wasn’t clean and they didn’t clean the floor even after I asked twice, the safe locker wasn’t working and also asked for a fix and no one came. Late checkin and they didn’t gave us what we booked. Tbh I wouldn’t recommend it if its more than a 100 dollars it worth less than that.

The beach is so good the resort all in all is good but it can be way better.

The service is not professional, only when u ask the team to do something they do it otherwise from themselves they don't do anything . So the cleanliness isn't that good.

الأستاذة سارة كانت من أكثر الناس اللي طيبت خاطرنا في هالإقامة والا انا كان ودي انزل التقييم لمراااحل، الشاليه ماكان بالنظافة والتوقعات المرجوه لكن ساعدتنا نغير لمكان افضل وهو الtwin house كان اكبر ومريح ومناسب لخياراتنا، كنا صف ثاني على البحر وكان قريب مننا اعجبني هالشي

يحتاج المكان الكثير من التجديد والتنظيف، النظافة عندهم مش احسن شي، الاكل اللي هو الفطور كان عادي، الحمدلله فيه اومليت، رد الاستقبال غالباً مايكون بطيء احيان صرت اضطر امشي على رجولي ولا اطلب منهم جولف كار، ازعجني هالشي جداً، فيه كاميرات على التليفون وحسستنا بانتهاك الخصوصية

pillows on beds are bad not giving any comfort Not a good place for happy summer days, poor on green areas and activities, you feel you are in a strange place, any booking you make is NON REFUNDABLE, as if they don't believe they have guests, you cannot even change the booking days, although Booking has sent them many requests but Hotel just declines !! the worst hotel experience i ever had.

The villa was very clean new furniture and very big and can accommodate big families, the price was average

The beach was very far and you have to walk for 10 12 minutes from the apartment , i booked 1st row villa should be sea view and sea is about 500 meters away The staff during check in and checkout very very slow i had to take all my bags to pass through xray and wait for 1 hour to have golf car ready to send my bags to the apartments I had to wait 3 or 4 hours for room service to clean the villa next day There is not enough golf car in the hotel Overall i am not coming again Total experience is average

so bad, please do not go there its a waste of money and energy - facilities are not clean, room service and house keeping not organised, waiting for towels, or for luggage service or someone to fix the door, or the microawve or bring missing furniture takes hours. we ordered an extra bed and received it finally after a 4th complaint on the last night of our stay.

ارتفاع السعر مقابل اثاث مستهلك و تعامل سيئ و نظافة سيئة و صيانة متاخرة لاكسسوارات الحمام بل تم تحقيق معنا على أننا نحن المتسببين علما بأن كانت هناك غش من المقاول في تثبيت الاكسسوار من ناحية الغراء و المسامير كما فاتني التوثيق بالصور لكثرة الملاحظات على النظافة و الصيانة بشكل عام

Very poor maintenance of all facilities including the room and elevators. Reception was the worst, the phone is either busy or they don't answer Asked them to clean the bathroom once and left the hotel for dinner, came back 4 hours later and nothing happened. Electricity kept cutting out daily, if it wasn't for the radiators it would have been a nightmare, although once the generator took like half an hour to work for some reason. One of the few times the reception answered me and i asked for a golf car and they said it is not available, and when i went down found it working just fine with other guests. The aqua park bathroom is awfull, it's even worse than public bathrooms, i can't find enough words to describe how discusting it is and what it smells like + the wooden doors are broken to pieces. I have no idea how can a 5 star hotel have bathrooms like this (both boys and girls bathrooms)

The housekeeping team did an excellent job and maintained a high standard throughout the stay. The Guest Relations Manager (Sara)was very welcoming, helpful, and always willing to assist.

Breakfast variety was very limited. It seemed that many of the staff members were either fresh graduates or seasonal employees and lacked sufficient hospitality experience. The reception team did not appear to be very professional, and their approach did not reflect the standards typically expected in the hospitality industry.

Everything specially location, facilities, value to money, housekeeping, food I can’t forget the bad odor of the chalet even after housekeeping got us an air freshener!

Beautiful resort. The villas were so nice and big and they each had their access to a private pool
