Internet was appalling was running a conference had to do my work between 11pm - and 8am - the rest of the time the internet dropped out - also the photos implied the room had street views actually you looked into the car park at the back

The iron was leaking the whole time when ironing and the bottom of the iron is burnt (has carbon buildup on the soletape) it stains the clothes.

Reviewed Mar 23, 2026The apartment was clean, modern and very comfortable. The fan was appreciated as it gets very warm given it's upstairs from a laundry and dryers are going. Hillary was a great host, and the secure off-street parking was a big plus. Not much in the area, but easy to access other areas of the city.
Not a negative as such, just feedback for the owner, that a shelf or vanity space in the bathroom is needed. There is no shelf in the shower, or around the basin.

Limition on cleaning agents such as detergents. We had a 5 day stay and the only supply we had was dish soap. Couldn't clean the toilet. Paying an additional R300 for cleaning is a bit uncalled for.

Noisy neighbours. When on the balcony you looking directly into the neighbours house. No view at all... It's better to stay inside and blockout neighbours.

The apartment itself is a true gem – impeccably decorated, spotlessly clean, and boasting every amenity I could possibly need. The location is equally impressive, with a delightful array of restaurants right on the doorstep. As someone who works in Newlands, I was thrilled to discover how conveniently located the apartment is – a huge bonus! Sadly, my stay was all too brief, and I had to bid farewell in the morning to head to work. What truly made my stay unforgettable, however, was the honor of being the first guest to use the apartment. I felt genuinely privileged to be a part of this special milestone!
