La gentillesse de notre hôte qui nous a permis de louer un scooter en un temps record. Possibilité de faire une lessive. Jardin agréable et terrasse. Boisson d'accueil bienvenue. Super rapport qualité prix.

Chambre un peu sombre et humide. Lit un peu trop petit (pour 1m80 c'était juste en longueur). Climatisation et ventilateur fonctionnent très bien mais la climatisation souffle directement sur le lit sans possibilité de le changer.

J'ai tellement adoré cet endroit ! L'hôtel et le cadre sont si beaux ! Le monsieur de l'hôtel très attentif et bienveillant. Nous avons prolongé de 2 nuits .

Un peu loin de la plage, mais ma fille et moi avons tout de même réussi à y aller à pied uniquement, sans jamais prendre de tuk tuk, c'est faisable :)

Ganz besonders hat uns das tolle Abendessen gefallen. Das Essen war äußerst lecker und unsere Bedienung sehr herzlich und sehr bemüht 😊

Sehr gutes Abendessen in Unterkunft erhalten. Ausleihen von Fahrrädern möglich (sofern diese nicht von anderen Gästen ausgeliehen;)- benötigt man hier auch, um an Strände zu kommen.

Die Matratze war viel zu dünn, also zu hart und sollte ausgewechselt werden und das Bett zu kurz.

C’est pas cher, la cuisine est très bonne et copieuse pour un très bon prix, mais c’est assez sommaire avec un lit un peu court quand on est grand. Excellent rapport qualité prix cependant. On le recommande quand on recherche une chambre à petit budget c’est top !

Un petit peu loin des plages, et manque de lumière

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Alcune camere sono più aggiornate di altre. Noi avevamo una camera un po’ meno curata rispetto all’altra ma per una notte è andata benissimo

Sehr sehr netter Gastgeber und leckeres Essen zu fairen Preisen. Gastgeber hat uns auch bei der Ankunft mit leckeren Getränken versorgt und bei der Abfahrt mit leckeren frisch gepflückten Frucht ausgestattet! Unterkunft hat eine gute ruhige Lage Zimmer sind sauber und ordentlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Le personnel est très sympathique et prévenant. Assez calme. Bon petit déjeuner et repas. Nous ont proposé des vélos et aidé à louer des scooters. A environ 1/4 d'heure de marche de la plage de Kalkuda qui est très bien.

Les matelas sont assez fins, les chambres sommaires et un peu poussiéreuse.

Een locatie tussen 2 stranden in. Je hebt een grote kamer en krijgt je eten geserveerd op je eigen balkon. Zowel ontbijt als avondeten is heel lekker!

Wil je wat van de omgeving zien is eigen vervoer wel aan te raden.

Le personnel est très sympathique et les chambres étaient confortables et propre. Il y a pas mal de restaurants dans la rue.

La plage n'est pas à côté mais largement faisable à pied ou en Tuc tuc. Les repas pris dans l'hôtel n'étaient vraiment pas top !

El trato del personal ha sido muy bueno. El lugar es muy tranquilo y tanto el desayuno como la comida nos la han servido en el balcón de la habitación. Para ir al pueblo nos han dejado unas bicis muy comodas y nuevas.

Nous avons été très bien acueilli à New land guesthouse. Le petit déjeuner et diner était très bon pour un prix très raisonnable sur une petite terrasse perso. La plage est très chouette pour se baigner à seulement 4 minutes en tuk-tuk. Ragee nous a beaucoup aidé dans plusieurs de nos besoins.

The host was lovely, greated us with some delicious lemon juice and also helped us cut some fruits we bought. The room was alright and the fan worked fine.

La cercanía con la playa y que tenía garaje para mi tuktuk dentro. El precio para la zona era barato pero sabiendo que iba a pasar un calor horrible en la habitación no lo hubiera reservado.

Las habitaciones son de batalla, las sabanas y la toalla sucias y con manchas raras. La habitación regular con ventilador es un infierno. Como haga calor con la humedad que hay no puedes pegar ojo en toda la noche y el ventilador hace un ruido tremendo. Las camas son malísimas tanto que me levante con un dolor de espaldas tremendo. No lo recomiendo para nada. Por lo menos la regular que estuve yo.

The place was really comfortable, the room was big even with 3 people inside. Each room has their own balcony which is nice to hang out. You can order food at the guest house it is really tasty and good value for money. One of the beaches is 20 minutes away by walking and the other one 30 minutes. Next to the hotel there is a little shop/ restaurant if you want to eat outside or need water.

The wifi was really slow and the towels leave black pieces of fabric when you use it.

El lugar es tranquilo , cerca de la playa y relación calidad precio muy buena. Puedes cenar y desayunar allí , comida casera muy buena.

La cama es muy dura aunque con cansancio ni te enteras 😃

Propriétaire très gentil qui nous a proposé un bon repas le soir devant notre chambre, une chambre familiale très propre et confortable, un rapport qualité-prix parfait. Merci beaucoup !

Lovely balcony, polite and friendly family business. Raj shared his local knowledge and they loaned me a bicycle which was fun. The palms and trees glow in the sun, emphasising the balcony and bird song. The whole family are good at listening to the guest and tailoring the experience for them.

I stayed at The New Land Guesthouse for 12 nights and I absolutely loved it. Runi and his team are very kind and friendly. Rajee (Runi's son-in-law) was also very nice and helpful; he picked me up from Batticaloa for a reasonable price and arranged a car and driver to take me to Kandy. I felt very safe. I was very grateful for having my room upstairs and I enjoyed the large balcony. The garden is beautiful and I loved watching the wildlife. I had breakfast each morning and had a few lunches when I was around and the food was delicious and the portions were very generous; I felt totally spoiled. As a bonus, I could use a bicycle free of charge to go to Kalkudah beach, which is beautiful. Resorts are not for me as I prefer authenticity and this was the perfect place. I was VERY sad to leave but I'm planning on going back again next year. Thank you so much Runi :)

Nothing I can really think of but maybe it would be nice to have a small table/desk and a chair in the bedroom but I did just fine without it.

Ośrodek prowadzony jest przez starsze małżeństwo. Właściciel jest bardzo miły. Chętnie pomoże i można z nim rozwiązać każdą sprawę. Duży pokój i łazienka oraz balkon. Pokój odświeżony i odmalowany. W łazience tylko zimna woda i brak AC. Słaby internet. Do plaży jest około 25 minut na piechote. Do miasta około 6 kilometrów.

Niestety łazienka wymaga porządnego czyszczenia. Biorąc pod uwagę cenę i ilość noclegów w okolicy nie można wybrzydzać .

到着すると冷たいウェルカムドリンクを出してくださいました。 部屋もしっかり清掃されており、シーツやタオルも清潔です。 booking.com上では翻訳言語によって駐車場の利用可否の表記が変わりどちらか分からなかったのですか、結果、問題なくトゥクトゥクを停めさせてもらえました。 この価格帯でエアコンが利用できて清潔な寝具で寝られるならば十分だと思います。

高温多湿の気候もあってか、しっかり清掃されてはいますが、それでもバスルームのカビ臭は少し気になりましたので、配管の洗浄や換気扇の設置などで改善できると思います。 実は今回、日付を間違えて予約してしまい、すぐにbooking.comを通じてメッセージを送ったのですが、返信が全くなく少し不安でした。 結果的には内容は伝わっており問題なく滞在できましたが、もし通話可能なSIMをお持ちの方は、コミュニケーションには電話した方が確実だと思います。

Sehr netter und zuvorkommender Gastgeber, der gutes Englisch spricht. Wir konnten umsonst Fahrräder ausleihen, was bei der Lage und der Entfernung zum Strand wirklich perfekt war. Das Frühstück und Abendessen war sehr lecker und preislich voll okay. Die Terasse war schön zum sitzen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Das Badezimmer war jetzt nicht das schönste und könnte an manchen Ecken etwas erneuert werden, aber trotzdem war es voll in Ordnung

- gut gelegen, nicht weit entfernt von schönen Strand - Gastgeber sehr freundlich - Zimmerwechsel war problemlos möglich, sodass wir zusammen sein konnten - angebotene Essen reichlich und günstig - Klimaanlage funktioniert super - zusätzliche Ventilatoren vorhanden - neue Moskitonetze - für einen kurzen Stopover völlig ok - Preis-Leistungsverhältnis gut

Staff molto gentile, camera molto spaziosa e comoda, presente zanzariera e climatizzatore funzionante. Colazione all'aperto, ottima e abbondate sotto il porticato davanti alla camera, bagno spazioso e pulito. Noi abbiamo dormito nella struttura adiacente quella principale. Abbiamo anche pranzato in struttura ed era tutto molto buono, il figlio del gestore ci ha anche organizzato un taxi con un suo amico per andare a Trincomalee, ottimo guidatore.

Everything! The location was perfect - an oasis! The host welcomed us and fed us the most delicious lunch and dinner. We could’ve stayed a few more nights but we had to continue. This place is a gem! Would return in a heart beat. Highly recommended.

It was very good but needed for the toilets of 🔥 hot water and the air conditioning to be Services and what we took the room was not enaff due to room capacity for 6 people the ac BTU 18000 but the air condition was not safition on the room what they gave us. It had to be updated.

Ein super freundlicher Gastgeber. Nähe zum Strand mit Fahrrädern gut. Moskitonetze vorhanden. Abendessen hat gut geschmeckt und war günstig.

Die Unterkunft hat nach europäischem Verhältnis seine besten Zeiten hinter sich. Die aktuell guten Bewertungen haben sich uns nicht erschlossen. Viele Insekten und hinter dem Hotel wird der Müll verbrannt. Harte Betten und fleckiges Bad. Fahrräder ohne bremsen und teils platt. Der Ventilator war auf höchster Stufe nicht spürbar. Mit Klimaanlage (Aufpreis) spürbar besser!

La ubicación es cómoda si tienes tuk tuk

Muy sucio, muchos bichos y cama incómoda. Había algún animal (ratas seguramente) que no paraba de correr por el tejado. No entiendo que este sitio tenga buena puntuación.

It's a nice, cosy and calm place with the two buidings on the main road. There is no big traffic and the hotel is surrounded by nature. There is a huge beautiful tree in the middle of the yard. The main building is well-decorated, especially the terrace on the 2nd floor. This is the best place with a view and I can highly recommend it. Rooms are simple but very clean. Territory is spacious and also clean. We took the room without AC, and it was not stuffy. There are many animals and home pets, and the peasant homestay or farm is located just behind the hotel. So it would be interesting for small children. Many birds also... They serve fresh and tasty meal. We are vegetarians and ordered fresh curd & fruits for breakfast or lunch. The staff were polite and friendly. Nice hotel, which is worth your money. Rajee can help to solve all your problems.

The hotel is not right at the beach, but they have bicycles. Also, if you rent a bike, it's not a problem at all. We just went on foot along the road to Oasis restaurant and then turn to the beach (15-20 minutes), it is Ok in the mornings and evenings, but in the daytime there will be very hot. Beds may not seem smooth and comfortable for everybody, but we liked and slept well without any discomfort. This is good for the spine. There was no hot water, but due to it's very hot in Kalkudah, that works fine.

Aardige gastheer, prijs-kwaliteit goed! Met eigen vervoer (tuktuk) makkelijk overal te komen waardoor dit een ideale overnachting was!

Der Besitzer ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Die Unterkunft ist etwa 15 Minuten zu Fuß vom Strand entfernt, allerdings kann man sich auch gratis Fahrräder bei der Unterkunft ausborgen, wodurch man sehr viel schneller am Strand ist. Das Abendessen beim Gastgeber ist wärmstens zu empfehlen. Das hausgemachte Curry ist eines der besten und preiswertesten, dass wir in unserem Urlaub gegessen haben und die Portionen sind sehr groß. Wasser kann man auch direkt in der Unterkunft kaufen. Jedes Zimmer besitzt auch eine Terrasse mit einem Tisch und Sesseln.

Das Bett ist etwas hart und nicht ganz so gemütlich.

No nos proporcionaron toallas de ducha y tampoco gel o pastilla de jabón. El lavabo estaba muy sucio, y los enchufes muy lejos de la cama.

The family who owns this was very lovely and accommodating.

De locaties is vlak bij beide stranden. De kamers hebben een zitje buiten. Het eten is heerlijk! Super vriendelijke hosts die ons goed geholpen hebben.

The host is nice, the location is good, they cook delicious prawns on the grill (dinner option). I also enjoyed the daily breakfast and laundry service (extra options).

Der Kalkudah Beach in der Nähe.

Sauberkeit und die Matratzen waren furchtbar! Man konnte das Bettgestell dadurch spüren (trotz geringem Gewicht der schlafenden Person). Die Besitzer sind sehr bemüht und freundlich aber leider ist das Englisch schlecht und es kam häufig zu Missverständnissen. Das Zimmer an der Straße ist viel zu laut in den Morgenstunden und die Klimaanlagen sind leider auch viel zu laut gewesen. Wir haben dann lieber den Ventilator an der Decke benutzt. Leider nicht empfehlenswert und überteuert für das was man bekommt.

La gentillesse et l’honnêteté de toute l’équipe. Nous avions oublié des affaires personnelles de valeur, et le propriétaire est venu nous les amener en main propre jusqu’à Arugam Bay. Un grand merci à lui. Nous sommes une famille de 4 et nous avons eu tout l’étage de cette grande maison pour nous. La restauration est aussi un point très positif de cet établissement. L’établissement nous a aussi prêté des vélos pour aller à la plage. Merci à eux pour tout.

El alojamiento para pasar una o dos noches está bien. Está cerca de la playa y además cuenta con aire acondicionado que es bastante necesario. El desayuno que nos sirvió estaba bueno y con variedad

El colchón estaba un poco duro y las almohadas tampoco eran cómodas.
