The floor boards were shaking/ casing noise when you walk also the carpet on the floor it and Hazard even the staircase carpet are off , shower cotton is not clean, I don't even sleep in the room I have to leave at 21:15pm

Cleaning was not thorough; the toilet flush, around the toilet, and the kettle hadn't been cleaned properly, the bed linen had an unpleasant odour and the room had a musty smell.

The hall ways smelt like weed, the shower was dirty and the paint was chipping away. Me and my partner ended up booking a travel lodge instead

I was looking at sleeping in my car and that was going to be £12.50. A room here was £25. My scores reflect that it was £25. It wasn’t perfect cosmetically and there was a fake tan stain on the sheet and a couple of bits that could use a deep clean, but for £25 I couldn’t fault it. You get a code for the front door and your door. It’s a ten minute walk to the sea front. Parking out front is tight but there’s a pay and display car park about 4 doors down so I used that. The showerhead was on the way out which I reported when I checked out but the water was hot. Mirror in the en suite was a light up LED one. The bed was comfortable and there was hangers for my coat etc. No staff onsite but they came out when someone started kicking off in the corridor. TV in the room with the standard streaming services. I would definitely stay again.

The wi-fi wasn’t very strong so there was buffering every now and again when watching tv.

Although it said no kettle in room it was nice to have one. Problem was kettle didn't fit under bathroom tap. Also no extra milk, tea etc. My husband did look down stairs.

Cleaner is a pervert kept knocking on my door asked if he could touch my bum and see me when my partner was out owner refused to extend my stay as my mum had reported me missing when she couldn't get hold of me so police attended the hotel when I was out which I was unaware of he gave me one hour notice to leave what a joke left me no time to find anywhere else had to pay 140 for 2 nights somewhere else as an emergency after being sat in the street with all my bags

Nothing dont want to moan cause of the price but nothing was clean about this place never seen one staff there was not a nice smell in the room .I know it was cheap but come on still needed to be clean and looked after them rooms are not

The location was perfect just up from coral island and all the bars The rooms were clean and tidy , paid £30 for 3 nights parking on hotel drive was is a reasonable price , would definitely stay there again .

The only problem I seen was the view from window but we was Down a side street so if people expect a view of the sea or summart its not for them as for myself not really bothered about a view

It was really nice hotel and was very easy to find the rooms was perfect size and if there is any problem it is very easy to get hold off the owner ( we never had a problem)

Clear instructions for self serve check in. Clean bedding and towels provided. During our stay we needed toilet roll etc to be replenished,asked the cleaner and when we got back she had left it outside our room. Couldn’t get the tv to come on, less than 10 mins and the maintenance man arrived and fixed it

I stayed at the New Athena for Rebellion Festival. It's centrally located (close to the Winter Gardens and North Pier), the staff was very friendly and the room had everything I needed for my stay. I would definitely stay here again.

When I arrived I asked for an early check in I arrived at 13.30pm when check in is 14.00pm I went to the room because I received the codes and was then told I had to leave the property and wait in my car for 20 mins until 14.00pm hit this was a completely ridiculous situation considering the room was done

Had a great stay! The hotel was very clean, and the housekeeping team did an excellent job keeping everything spotless. They were always polite, friendly, and welcoming. The overall service was fantastic, and the atmosphere was comfortable and relaxing. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant stay and would happily visit again.

Wow wonderful place and very cheap, room was spotless..also the housekeepers and the gettle man I spoke to on the phone to change rooms were nice and helpful..would definitely be coming back.

The extractor fan in the toilet did not work and the pillows on the bed were very thin and used so they could do with replacing

it’s close enough to the central pier and strips of bars (5-10 ish minute walk) where you wouldn’t have to get a bus or drive everywhere

wallpaper was peeling, obvious signs of damp in the room, shower and bathroom were mouldy, shower tap didn’t go cold, air felt THICK and the room was super hot to the point it was more bearable to be outside than in there, i’d put this down to lack of airflow and with it being an older building obviously it’s gonna have a bit of wear and tear i guess but it gets to a point… we had to go and buy a fan to try and cool the place down, hallway smelt of cigarettes and weed most of the time, i personally wasn’t too fussed about it amongst everything else, but they claim to have a no smoking policy where you’d be kicked out if you were. bed smelt funky, and upon stripping the bedding when i left, i saw what looked like pee (in the best case scenario) stains on the quilt, obviously, some stains will stick even if washed, so, could be that, but it still smelt funky. upon arriving we found some water bottles behind a cabinet, and under the bed was a bunch of sweet wrappers, nicotine pouch tins and other things, all around just felt a bit musty in there. still, could be worse i suppose… the entire check in is completely unstaffed, feels convenient at first i won’t lie, however, was up for the majority of the night because i felt like anybody with a code could get into the room, generally felt a bit unsafe with that. HOWEVER, we did get a free soap, some tea bags, and 2 biscuits, very sweet of them to do that, although the kettle didn’t quite reach so maybe put it on the chair or something, really not that much of an issue if you don’t make one out of it. we also got 2 towels, however one had a stain of some sort on it (again, it’s a white towel, maybe it was a bit of a stubborn stain, i tried to not let it bother me) to conclude, if you’re after a cheap hotel that’s in relatively close distance and don’t much care about anything else, it’s fine, i suppose. although i personally wouldn’t stay here again, some people might, it’s about perspective i guess

No fan or hair dryer as advertised. Lots of hairs from previous guests in the shower. Water pressure low because the shower head was leaking where it connected to the lead. Not clean by the toilet.

It was close to where we needed to go like the town / arcades and the beach. Loads of places to eat that was close to it too

Complete and utter peace from the owner who was different from some hotels in Blackpool where u feel like Ur staying in someone's spare room.. Highly recommend as spacious and had privacy like I rented a apartment. Comfortable quality mattresses on the bed and a clean room. Thanks for Ur hospitality Tony.

The bed was very comfortable. The room was well aired and felt bright. Coffee and tea facilities in the room.

Got to this hotel to find we got shoved on highest floor 3 floors up i requested lower floor due to my mobilty advertised smart tv nothing was signed in so couldnt watch nothing also fast internet couldnt connect our phones messaged owner but no reply untill following day would never try this hotel

Everything the room was dirty, there was dirty toilet roll on the floor and the toilet its self was not clean, the rooms had damp patches on walls and the duvet cover was stained. Nothing about this room was nice,
