The Location and just being so close to the beach, the area was lovely and quite, the gated area for my dog was just perfect, safe for her as well, she enjoyed her stay as well.

A small table, I'm not comfortable on stool chairs, but that's just me, mind you when it gets warmer the table outside would be great

Leanne and Gary were lovely hosts, the property was clean and very comfy and very accomodating for our 2 dogs. Will definitely return

Very handy to town and the beach

I like how private and quiet my stay was for 3 nights because we are very quiet and private people I could have not asked for a better place to stay especially that close to beach access that we love

I have no complaints. Instructions clear and place provides everything, rating for my stay 10 out of 10.

Super comfortable, spotless studio with a short walk to a beautiful beach. Hosts were very welcoming. The studio is also a short drive into Whakatane. We only stayed for 2 nights but would happily have settled in for a longer visit.

Spacious, clean & great location

The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The hosts were super helpful especially when it came to securing our vehicle. The bed was very comfortable. Bathroom very spacious also. Beach towels were appreciated. Proximity to beach was fantastic.

It would have been nice to have a space to relax in the afternoon sun, but you can't have everything. We wandered down to the beach and there was plenty of sun there!

Kun en dør adskiller til værts bolig, meget lydt og støj fra tidlig morgen. Ingen butikker eller caféer i gafstand (> 5 km). Strand ikke badeegnet. Medbring selv kaffe, the og toiletpapir -der er kun lidt.

A beautiful spot with a nice view and very close to ocean beach. Bed was super comfy and kitchen was well stocked. Shower was great. Appreciated a towel dryer and shampoo and conditioner. The front door expand open up so we felt we were outside even though it was raining. The hosts were so friendly and we had an enjoyable conversation. They have fun and friendly dogs if you are missing your pets at home.

Beautiful location and great accommodation. Everything was very clean and comfortable. We got caught in the tropical storm but managed to visit Whakatane Town. A nice visit despite the weather. Highly recommend. Very nice host.

The location was perfect for us because we wanted to be close to the beach . The accommodation was very well laid out and had a nice personal feel . The bed was super comfy and the shower had really good water pressure !

Wirklich tolle Unterkunft! Die Gastgeber sind super nett und hilfsbereit, dabei aber nicht aufdringlich. Das Studio ist schön eingerichtet und es gibt alles was man braucht. Die Tür öffnet mit einem Code, so dass man auch keinen Schlüssel verlieren kann :) Die Unterkunft eignet sich super für alleinreisenden. Das Highlight ist auf jeden Fall der fußläufig in weniger als 5 Minuten zu erreichende Strand. Dieser scheint überwiegend von Anwohner*innen genutzt zu werden, wodurch man mit etwas Glück ganz alleine dort sein kann. Der Strand erstreckt sich über mehrere Kilometer und eignet sich super für einen Spaziergang. Ansonsten erreicht man aber im Umkreis von 20 Minuten Autofahrt noch weitere Strände sowie die Möglichkeit verschiedenen Bushwalks und Lookouts.

Location and cleanliness. Could hear the ocean but had to walk about 100m to see it. Sea shells everywhere. New neighborhood with beautiful homes. Booking.com asked for value for the $. I don’t know what the nightly cost was. Booking assumes I know this. Been traveling for a month.. highly recommend staying here.

I was in Whakatane for work. A nice quiet place to stay. Clean tidy and warm. Friendly hosts.

Quiet location with excellent set up. Close proximity to beach enabled the fur babies to have a run following a days travel. Highly recommend, and will book accommodation again.

Super clean and tranquil. Comfortable bed and linen everything you need. I love the decor and bathroom plant.

Very close to the beach

The comfort of the bed was amazing, I was always excited to go back after the day to sleep in it. The place was lovely, had the essentials and was exactly what we needed away from home. Will definitely be a go to if we are ever back up north.

I enjoyed everything

The unit is luxurious with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The property owners are the nicest people you could ever meet. The beach being less than a 2 minute walk away is an added bonus. Highly recommend this place!

The facility was perfect, unfortunately for us there was a big storm the night we stayed so couldn't fully enjoy the location.

Would have liked more teabags and some real coffee instead of sweet coffee mix sachets. Coffee bags would have worked ok. Not a big negative but as coffee drinkers we would have appreciated it. Still a nice place to stay.

It was a good sized studio, perfect for a couple and we absolutely loved that we could take our animals with us. It was a short walk to a dog friendly beach and it was in a lovely neighborhood. When we got there the place was spotless and the hosts were very welcoming. It was very quiet/peaceful which we wanted.

We didn't like the fact that we only booked for two nights and not more.
