Geweldig uitzicht op de Ella rock en little adams peak. Super plek als je 2 nachten in Ella wilt verblijven. Kamer boven heeft geen AC, maar dat is niet nodig met de avond temperatuur in Ella!

Enige nadeel is wellicht de steile looptocht omhoog. Maar de eigenaar wil je wel brengen of je boekt een tuktuk

Super mooi uitzicht en leuke, mooie en schone kamer! We hebben meerdere keren aapjes gezien vanaf het balkon en zelfs een Luwak. Ontbijt was erg goed en uitgebreid. Hele vriendelijke eigenaren, ze waren altijd bereikbaar voor vragen. Het weggetje naar de locatie toe is wat hobbelig en steil op sommige plekken maar opzich is het prima te bereiken. We hadden onze eigen tuktuk maar vonden het zelf prettig om ‘s avonds een tuktuk taxi te pakken naar het centrum (hoewel je er binnen 10 minuten lopen ook bent). Ook hierbij was de eigenaar erg behulpzaam, als we hem belden dan stond er binnen 5 minuten een tuktuk voor de deur! Zelfs toen we weggingen hielp hij ons met de onze tuktuk draaien op het smalle weggetje zodat we gemakkelijk weg konden rijden

Het enige wat iets minder praktisch was, is dat de hele badkamer nat wordt als je doucht. Het zou een goede toevoeging zijn om een vloerwisser in de badkamer te zetten zodat je zelf na het douchen het meeste water naar het putje kan trekken

De host en zijn familie waren erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het ontbijt was het beste ontbijt wat we in Sri Lanka op hebben en ook nog eens met een spectaculair uitzicht.

Location was central to Ella and a Nine Arches Bridge Jungle trail. Views to the two summits were breathtaking. Home cooked breakfast was fantastic, wholesome and more than we could eat.

The owner has put a lot of care into creating beautiful top floor suites with incredible views. We loved the beautiful morning birds and giant squirrels that could be photographed right on our balcony. It truly was our favourite accommodation for the whole trip. Birding enthusiasts will love this place. We had a hornbill settle right on our balcony! Book the second floor or top floor rooms for the incredible views from surrounding windows on all sides. We also were completely floored by the amazing and generous welcome drinks tea serving and incredible breakfasts. Our host packed a super lovely breakfast also on the day we needed to set out at 5am for a hike. We really appreciated the attentive and hospitable service. Tuk tuks were arranged for quick trips into town to enjoy the shopping and dining, then back to our beautiful and tranquil haven from all the bustle just minutes away. Truly a hidden gem!

The property was absolutely stunning, the staff and owners were so amazing. I got slightly lost returning late one night and the owners came to find me. The breakfast was so lovely and fresh . I can’t fault this place at all . Thank you for a wonderful stay .

Nous avons adoré notre séjour, c’était sans aucun doute notre meilleur hébergement au Sri Lanka ! L’hôte est extrêmement accueillant et gentil, toujours disponible et de très bon conseil. Vous pouvez lui faire confiance les yeux fermés, notamment pour réserver les taxis : il nous en a trouvé à un excellent prix. Le petit-déjeuner était délicieux et très agréable à déguster. La vue est tout simplement exceptionnelle, avec le Little Adam’s Peak d’un côté et Ella Rock de l’autre. Prendre notre petit-déjeuner sur notre balcon privé, installé à une table face aux montagnes, a été un excellent moment. Nous recommandons cet endroit à 100 % et y reviendrions avec grand plaisir !

Die Unterkunft war wunderschön. Ein unschlagbarer Blick auf die Berge und alles Wichtige war fußläufig zu erreichen. Das Frühstück wurde uns auf die Terasse gebracht, wo wir dann mit tollem Blick gegessen haben. Es war ein super tolles Frühstück, wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Het personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk en gastvrij. De familie doet er echt alles aan om je verblijf zo prettig mogelijk te maken en denkt met je mee. Het ontbijt was elke ochtend zeer uitgebreid en erg lekker. Vanuit onze kamer hadden we een prachtig uitzicht op Little Adam's Peak en Ella Rock. Daarnaast ligt de accommodatie net buiten de drukte van Ella, waardoor het heerlijk rustig is. Als je wilt ben je met 10 minuten wandelen wel weer in het centrum. Ook na ons verblijf hielp de eigenaar ons nog met het regelen van chauffeurs voor onze verdere reis. De service was echt uitzonderlijk.

We stayed for 2 nights while traveling through from Kandy to the sounds coast. The view was stunning, completely lived up to the pictures. Saman and his family couldn’t have been more helpful and offered a traditional breakfast every morning delivered to the balcony as well as recommendations on what to do in the area. The apartment had its own entrance so felt very private and was only a 5-10 minute walk from the buzz of the main town (although Saman was happy to give us a lift in his Tuktuk with our luggage on the last day). Everything was clean and the AC and newly renovated shower worked great.

Nothing- easily accessible by tuk tuk (2 mins from main road) or walking but would note that the lanes are a little tight by car from the town.

Wir wurden am Bahnhof in Ella mit dem Tuk Tuk persönlich abgeholt und mit einer Tasse Tee auf unserer Terasse empfangen. Aufgrund das der Weg zum Hotel Abends etwas dunkel ist, wird man vom Chef persönlich mit dem Tuk Tuk in die City gefahren. Das Frühstück war der Hammer mit Blick auf den Little Adams Peak und Ella Rock. - die Familie ist sehr gastfreundlich - das Zimmer war sauber - zum Zentrum sind es 10 Minuten zu Fuß - Der Tipp des Chefs beim Chill Cafe zu essen war ebenfalls top.

Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber. Sie hatte eine top Lage und hatte eine grandiose Aussicht auf den Little Adam‘s Peak und den Ella Rock. Ebenso war das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das traditionelle Frühstück war sehr lecker und üppig. Einfach ein super gemütliches Zimmer in einer ruhigen und idyllischen Umgebung.

Das Two Summit ist sehr ruhig gelegen & verfügt über eine wunderschöne aussicht ins grüne. Den Zeitpunkt des Frühstücks konnten wir frei wählen & es gab täglich wechselnde Spezialitäten. Saman organisierte uns jeweils das Tuk Tuk, Taxi & auch das Zugticket für die weiterreise. Wir würden sofort wiederkommen & können es nur weiterempfehlen.

Traumhafter Ausblick und Saman ist ein toller Gastgeber. Er hat sogar angeboten uns abends kostenlos ins Zentrum zu fahren und nach einem Anruf auch wieder abzuholen. Das Frühstück wird zur Wunschzeit auf dem eigenen Balkon serviert und war sehr lecker, abwechslungsreich und typisch Sri Lanka, es gab unter anderem Hopper, Kokos Pancake usw. Das Zimmer war sehr schön und wir haben uns absolut wohl gefühlt. Es wird auch ein Wäscheservice angeboten, wir waren sehr zufrieden damit.

Die Unterkunft ist mit dem Auto erreichbar, aber es war recht abenteuerlich, da die Straßen sehr eng sind. Man läuft etwa 15 Minuten ins Zentrum, ich habe mich zu jeder Zeit sicher gefühlt, aber es ist recht spärlich beleuchtet. Außerdem wurden wir auch kostenlos ins Zentrum gebracht (s.o.)

Attention, cet établissement nous a prévenu quelques heures avant de notre arrivée qu’ils avaient fait du sur Booking. Ils ont annulé notre réservation !! donc je vous conseille de l’éviter, on a bien être embêté pour retrouver un hôtel

The view from our room was amazing. Little Adams Peak to 1 side and Ella Rock on the other. You could sit for hours on the balcony admiring the view and watching all the wildlife go by. We have never seen so many different animals in 1 place. The room was a good size, big comfortable bed and good facilities. It's quite rustic but suits it's location. We were served a delicious breakfast each morning on the balcony and the owners were friendly and helpful with information & transport. It's a 10 minute walk from the main strip but easy walk or tuk tuk ride to all local attractions.

We really loved the spectacular view! There was always a chilled breeze, that was a great contrast to the hot city. Also the breakfast was quite good! The location of the place is quite good as you only need to walk for 10 min. to reach the center of Ella.

When we entered the room for the first time it was quite clean, but after one night we recognized that many ants were crawling in the bed - right at the pillow etc. The shower had no separation of any sort from the rest of the bathroom that led to a totally wet room after taking a shower. We know that this is common in Asia, but we didn’t expect this in an accommodation in this price category. Card payment is possible, but the owner claimed that it would cause fees of 3.5% which seems a little bit off.

The view from room 6 was absolutely incredible!

This wonderful B&B with unrivalled views down the valley was wonderful, set in a secluded part of Ella , waking up to beautiful birdsong and monkeys was truly magical. The breakfast on balcony every morning was fantastic. In fact probably the best we had on our trip. Hosts were available and very helpful.

There is some construction happening around the base of the property but not particularly noisy or intrusive .

Die Ausstattung ist sehr einfach und in die Jahre gekommen. Aktuell auch teilweise Baustellen auf dem Gelände. Die Dusche war bei uns leider nicht heiß.

Die Lage ist einfach perfekt – in nur 10 Minuten ist man zu Fuß im Zentrum und genießt dennoch absolute Ruhe. Insgesamt gibt es nur sechs Zimmer, was eine besonders familiäre und persönliche Atmosphäre schafft. Die Besitzer wohnen direkt im Haus und kümmern sich mit ganz viel Herzlichkeit um ihre Gäste. Alles ist wunderbar authentisch, und die Familie hat uns mit tollen Ausflugstipps versorgt. Besonders begeistert hat mich die traumhafte Aussicht, das köstliche Frühstück auf der Terrasse und natürlich die unglaublich netten Gastgeber. 😊

The location although a bit out of main town is still very nice with excellent views of Little Adam's Peak and the valley. Easily walkable from town otherwise Tuk Tuks are available. The host even dropped and picked us up from the main street. Breakfast is excellent and served on the balcony.

There were some problems with over bookings and first night we were in the ground floor room. The room is much smaller but next morning we were shifted to first floor. Room on the first floor is much better, bigger better toilet and more private.

Beautiful room with large and very comfortable bed, huge balcony with great views where we enjoyed a delicious breakfast every morning. Saman and his family were super helpful and lovely.

There was some noise from dogs, kids and construction, but I think much less than there would be in other locations around Ella. So just be prepared with some earplugs for night time!

Het was echt een unieke ervaring met het prachtige uitzicht. Wakker worden met het uitzicht en dan ontbijt krijgen op je eigen balkon, was echt fantastisch. De eigenaar is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam met het plannen van je dag. 1 dag heeft zijn tuktuk chauffeur ons rondgereden langs de highlights. Er zijn 2 wegen naar de accomodatie, eentje is wat avontuurlijker dus toen we in de auto zaten dachten we even waar gaan we heen. Maar de locatie bleek echt top. 10 min wandelen van het centrum van Ella en ook op loopafstand van little adams peak.

Er is geen airco, maar dat misten wij niet gezien het best koud was in Ella toen wij er waren. Er ligt wat rotzooi bij aankomst, maar de rest ziet er allemaal keurig uit!

The views from the room were incredible. Best view from our whole 2 week trip! The staff were so friendly and the breakfast was really good. It was a short (but steep) walk from the center of Ella which was great as we were away from the noise.

Nothing much. The bathroom could do with a slight update and there was some flooring on the way to the room which looked like it was in the process of being repaired so was a bit of a trip hazard.

Man muss sich newusst sein, dass die Unterkunft mit dem Auto nur sehr schwer zu erreichen ist. Es sind kleine enge Gassen, teilweise sehr steil. Der Fußmarsch dauert aber maximal 10 Minuten von der Haupstraße aus. Die Aussicht ist es wert!

Die Unterkunft bietet saubere Zimmer und eine traumhafte Aussicht auf die Berge – besonders schön von den oberen Zimmern aus, wo man das Frühstück sogar auf der eigenen Terrasse genießen kann. Das Frühstück selbst war wirklich top: abwechslungsreich, frisch und mit täglich kleinen Variationen. Die Familie, die das Hotel betreibt, ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, man fühlt sich direkt willkommen. Die Unterkunft liegt etwas abseits, sodass man ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß oder mit dem TukTuk ins Zentrum von Ella braucht – dafür aber auch in ruhiger Lage mit schöner Umgebung.

Ein paar kleine Dinge könnten verbessert werden: Die oberen Zimmer sind zwar schön, aber es fehlt etwas an Ablageflächen wie Nachttischen oder Haken an der Wand. Auch das Badezimmer wird durch die offene Dusche schnell nass und schmutzig. Die Reinigung der Zimmer erfolgte leider nur auf Nachfrage. Etwas verwirrend war auch, dass nicht ganz klar war, welches Zimmer man letztlich bekommt.

The location was exceptional - just a ten minute walk into the centre of Ella. The views from the room were first class. Loved the visit from the monkeys late afternoon. The couple who run the property couldn’t do enough to help. Breakfast was served when you wanted it and there was always a great selection of food.

Shower could have been hotter. WiFi could have been better.

I especially liked the staff of the hotel. We got traditional sri lankan breakfast Server every morning and the owner of the hotel offered to help us with a lot of things!!! We stayed for 3 nights!

Saman and his family were the most wonderful hosts, and went above and beyond to make the stay comfortable. The room and balcony view was breathtaking, and the 15 minute walk from the town centre made it the perfect oasis. I would come back to Ella just to stay here again.

The location was great, near the centre of town but on a quiet street and high up with lovely views of the valley. The family were very lovely and helpful. The wife prepared a special breakfast of hoppers for me, because I'm celiac. The husband helped me to find a driver and guide for my onward journey who turned out to be excellent! He couldn't do enough to help. The building is new and the room is huge, clean with everything you could need.

It is a little hard to find so a sign on the street would be helpful especially for people arriving late at night. The wifi connection wasn't great when I arrived but the husband quickly fixed it. I had no hot water in my shower in the morning but the husband quickly showed me to another room where i had a lovely hot shower. The walls are quite thin so i was a bit aware of the noise next door, this might be something to keep in mind for light sleepers.

Great stay! Hosts were super friendly and helpful and the breakfast was exceptional! Unfortunately our room didn’t quite have the view from the photos as the photos were of the room next door however we really enjoyed our stay! Fantastic facilities and incredibly comfy bed.

View is AMAZING, terrace is very nice, comfortable armchairs to sit with a drink in the morning or in the evening. Room super clean with a lot of lights to choose from. Owners super friendly and helpful. Breakfast super reach and tasty, different local items on each day. Great privacy.

Nothing really. Sri Lanka is very humid, so the room may also give you this uncomfortable feeling and has some moulds. But I’m sure the runners are already trying their best.

Spacious and comfortable room with a big terrace (where they serve the breakfast) and panoramic windows with view of the mountains. Perfect localization, outside of the main streets of Ella, close to nature, but just 10min walk form the bars and restaurants. Very friendly staff.

We liked everything

Great location with a view to Littel Adam’s Peak, but still in walking distance to city center and all the restaurants and shops. The room was big, the bed and sofas were super comfortable. And the owner helped us get a scooter, plan our trip and went above and beyond to male us happy. If we return to Ella, we would book this again!

A charming and welcoming property Spacious room with big windows and black curtains (perfect for both day and night) Tea station, minifridge, hairdryer, so everything you need to feel comfortable Private balcony where is served breakfast which is highly appreciated. Breakfast is very complete and varies a bit day after day. You have a nice view on the little Adam's Peak Everything is walking distance from the city so if you have legs please use them (avoid overpriced tuktuks, Ella is a scam for that compared to the rest of Sri Lanka) The net on the bed that protects you from mosquitos is a very big plus

The walls are quite thin and you can definitely hear the neighbors talking, sneezing, listening to music or whatsoever Wifi is unfortunately not very good. We had to use 4g which works much better Water pressure was very good but the temperature of the shower might not be hot enough for some people Some communication issues regarding scheduling breakfast so if you have plans might be an issue
