People was partying all night and kept us awake with talking and music till around 3 am

Me encantó que es super kids-friendly de verdad nos demuestra que el mundo puede ser más inclusivo con los niños. El hotel está limpio, ordenado, bonito. Las habitaciones son cómodas y limpias. Las camas ricas. Tiene restaurante muy bueno y el desayuno es bastante variado. Te cuidan mucho si tenés alergias alimentarias. El personal es muy amable. Tienen un área de juegos para niños lo cual se agradece muchísimo ya que ellos necesitan esos espacios sobre todo cuando ya tienen días viajando. Gracias por tomar en cuenta en todo a la población pediatría del mundo. Muy agradecida con la estadía y lo súper recomiendo.

Pool needs to be booked in slots and this was not specified on the booking.com site. Kids banned from Jacuzzi. There is no need for this, we have been to German waterparks where the water is warmer than they are allowed. Sofa bed has hard springs and is uncomfortable

Loved how child friendly it was and the facilities were far above what you’d expect from a typical holiday inn. Usually venture out of the hotel but chose to spend the whole evening making use of all the facilities.

The location is great!

Wouldn’t recommend the breakfast. The food was dry & always running low.

The food was awful, the menu change has resulted in overpriced and poor variety on the adults menu. Took ages to check in despite only one group in front, no self check in option to avoid this issue. We had a room for 3 of us and the sofa bed was horrific for our little girl, so hard and uncomfortable. Would not stay again

The staff were friendly, great facilities like the pool, sauna, jacuzzi, breakfast was good too.

You have to pay for parking even though you are a guest of the hotel

Room smelt of damp - reception informed and they sent someone to look who said there wasn’t a problem - it must be coming from outside. Not worth arguing with them for 1 night. Breakfast very mediocre - tasteless cooked breakfast

I love the ease of getting to the hotel, hpw welcome we were and the extras for the children like the cookie and milk and activity packs.

I didn't appreciate how a guest treated me and my young son after mixed up with rooms, and we tried to enter a room that they were in through no fault of our own. Staff were quick to resolve the matter but my son was upset by the incident.

Car park charges…… we really don’t have another option! Understand cruise customers may have different agenda but overnight stay in hotel should be exempt or at least discounted! Evening dining was a farce and had it not been for Joanne (FOH), the situation could have been diabolical. Little or no good choices off the menu and the food we ended up with was practically inedible. Needless to say we gave breakfast a miss.

Location was perfect for our visit to Peppa Pig World. The car was great plenty of spaces and cameras. The refurbished pool area was lovely and exceptionally clean and modern. The location of our room was great - ground floor and very quiet. The staff on the front desk were really friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was great - lots of choice and all fresh. Service at breakfast was great.

We were very disappointed that the sofa bed was not made up for our daughter on arrival. However the front desk arranged it quickly for us. The bathroom in particular was tired and needed a good clean and refresh - mould around bath handles, toilet pan had brown staining and silicone around bathroom suite needs replacing. The service in the restaurant for evening meal was not great we ordered two water jugs and never received them, even though we asked twice.

The pool was good, as were the pool staff. The restaurant manager at breakfast was also very professional and friendly

Sarah, the receptionist was unfriendly, unhelpful and her conduct overshadowed the whole stay. The room was not ready at 1830, when we arrived. It was not in fact ready until 20:00. The front staircase was taped off, which the receptionist had not explained, nor had she explained where/ if there were alternative stairs (and therefore fire escapes). In addition, one of the two lifts only worked intermittently. Sarah, the receptionist also wanted me to state the exact time we'd have breakfast. She said "well we are fully booked, so you have to specify"! Not the relaxed approach you expect from a weekend hotel stop. Sarah did not apologise once- not for failing to explain the stairs, not for the inconvenient lift and not for the major inconvenience of having wait for the room to be made up (and allow someone to come in whilst my daughters' and my luggage was then in the room). I had to chase up the room completion twice. Sarah's attitude about this was to treat me and my concerns an inconvenience.

Excellent location for Paultons Park/Peppa Pig World. Great to have the swimming pool and kids zone to keep children entertained. Easy to book swimming and the restaurant. Very spacious hotel and nice room. Had all we needed for our 3 night stay. Lovely food and staff very helpful. Added bonus of cookie and milk voucher for children every night. Nice park nearby too.

A couple more tea/drink options in the room. A bit more variety on the restaurant menu.

The hotel was lovely - clean, well looked after and newly decorated in much of the building. The room was comfortable and clean with everything needed including working AC. The breakfast was really good and all the staff we encountered were helpful and friendly. My daughter was particularly delighted by the free milk and cookies she got for bedtime.

The only minor things I could mention are the leaky shower head and slower service for dinner but it was busy so this is being unnecessarily picky. We were more than happy.

It was perfect for Peppa pig world!! The little play room was brilliant and the pool was really good giving great value for money . Breakfast spread was fantastic and they went extra mile when I requested some warm water with lemon for a sore throat! Lovely host. Check in staff was also brilliant and I immediately felt at ease.

Paid parking is slightly disappointing . Increase £1 for all bookings and give free parking to all...

Staff very rude and abrupt on reception desk. Staff in restaurant at dinner forgot our order and very slow. Also acted like they were not interested in customers. (Staff at breakfast much better, attentive, polite and cleared quickly. ) Bedding clean but not very comfortable. Bathroom not fully clean and hallway areas not clean

Location close to main route. Very welcoming, friendly, efficient staff. Fascilities for children. Ample parking at £7.50 pn. Good sized rooms. Very good selection of food for dinner and breakfast. Good sized swimming pool for which you have to book a slot on arrival - good because this prevents overcrowding. Will recommend and return.

Everything works well, beds are great, room aircon worked well, breakfast was excellent , staff so friendly and chatty , pool was clean and modern and the jacuzzi so relaxing.

parking camera a little disconcerting , my sister when waiting for me was worried she would get a fine if she didn’t walk into the lobby and register . Aircon turned of in the night and had to be switched on again.

Amazing hotel in all. Well kept and updated. Pool and gym were awesome.

Room air con on/off button didn’t work. Reported and fixed for an hour then would turn off and button not work again. Room was too hot so didn’t sleep well at all for the 3 nights.

The hotel is exceptionally clean, the staff are very friendly and location for Paultons park is 15 minutes away. There's a kids room with good toys and TV , fabulous.!

The menu for evening meal could be extended? We don't eat meat, so a fish burger or veg lasagne would be good to see on the menu . Please The breakfast is fabulous.

Staff were all really friendly and helpful. The swimming pool area and gym were very good. Breakfast was great. The little extras for my 4 year old, such as free meal with a main, and cookie and milk for bed time.

Sauna and female changing rooms under maintenance so couldn’t use the sauna and the female changing rooms were dark. Sofa bed was quite uncomfortable. And the wait for food was well over an hour in the evening. Resulting in it being put in a take away box. They did how ever give me and my son a free drink as a gesture of good will.

Early check-in, comfy bed with crisp, clean, fresh linen, plenty of pillows, helpful staff, great swimming pool, room near health club entrance so could just walk from my room to the pool in costume with towel, slept well.

Worried as no safety chain on door unlike some other Holiday Inn Hotels. Maintenance do not work week-ends so not replaced. Coffee machine HDI Express West End makes better coffee! Obviously not the fault of Holiday Inn but waited over an hour and a half for a taxi but still no driver!

We loved the facilities and breakfast at the hotel. The location was perfect for Peppa Pig World which is what we needed. There were also shops within reasonable distance.

We were slightly disappointed with the cleanliness of the room, there were a previous child’s dummy and food down the side of the sofa bed. Other than this, there was not anything else we were unhappy with.

Not a great welcome- was told we did not have rooms allocated for our stay even though booked 2 months prior. Eventually found us rooms but were separated on different floors.

Swimming Pool & Spa well appreciated bonus. I seem to sleep well at Holiday Inn Hotels. Lovely clean crisp white bed linen. Large TV placed in front of the bed with dark contrast behind easier on the eye. Maintenance efficiently replaced non-existing door safety chain - thank you. Air Conditioning appreciated during heatwave although needed to close window as facing main road rather noisy.

The price was high however I appreciate Southampton/Eastleigh and surrounding areas very busy due to Goodwood, 5 Cruise ships in dock plus other various events so a busy week-end.

The facilities were great. Loved the kids room and bar area. Loads of space to sit and chill if needed. The breakfast was really good. Beds super comfy. Great location. Will definitely be returning.

The most family friendly hotel I've ever stayed at. Kids play room, cutlery and crockery specifically for kids. Pool attached, but you need to book. Not that far from Paulton's Park. Comfy bed, clean, good food. Nice staff.

£7.50 a night parking.

Good breakfast - offered at a cost of £12 at check in. Would've cost me over £16 had I included breakfast when I actually booked the room! I feel this is unfair pricing.

Cot not set up as requested for my arrival - had to go down to reception and ask for one to be brought to my room in order to settle a very tired baby. Struggled to bring in my belongings from my car, check in at the desk, and take luggage etc up and down the lifts whilst carrying a baby at the same time. No assistance offered. Unable to hinge room door open in order to bring luggage into the room....again very difficult to do whilst carrying a baby - I understand fire safety regulations, but the door should have a catch to allow it to stay open and not hinder you when going in and out with bags. No separate shower - shower over the bath and difficult to get into and out of the small bath. Bathroom very small. Overpriced - by the time I paid for breakfast and parking it cost me about £164 for x1 night - I, at least, would expect a better bathroom for that price, a mini bar and a complimentary bottle of water.

location wise - there is no nearby shop or bus route - the closest amenities are in Eastligh so you do need to factor in cab fares

The hotel was in a great location and an easy walk into town. It is also well placed for access into Southampton for those cruising.

Pool absolutely freezing!

Easy and quick check in comfy beds ,tea and coffee facilities in room,as well as shower gel and shampoo, everything you need for an overnight stay.Breakfast was delicious great choice and hot and fresh,staff were all pleasant and even provided a comb for my teenager who had forgot to pack one.
