Riu Sri Lanka All Inclusive

The restaurant food and the friendly and efficient staff at the restaurant. I also liked the swimming pools. The housekeeping staff were very nice too. And the staff at the bar in the lobby who made a chocolate milkshake for my son even though they didn’t have it. Thank you so much. Very very helpful staff at the Riu. I will definitely come back to this hotel next time I come to Sri Lanka

The room was very very cold. We tried to change the temperature but it was still very cold. So we were turning off the AC but it made the room very wet specially the floor was very slippery and dangerous , my 5 yr old fell.

It was very noisy especially during the weekends. Lots of locals would come and really make it noisy especially during the night.

It is a lovely hotel right on the beach. Good variety of food.

Would have liked some sofa areas to provide more relaxing seating to chill for longer.

Food was absolutely brilliant .many food options .entertainment were excellent .friendly staff and service is amazing .lovely pool and pool bar.. unlimited drinks were really enjoyed .room is huge .room air condition is make us more comfortable .very cozy beds. Too many local tourist . limited car park and basement car park were full . Breakfast ,lunch and dinner buffet is too crowded .no table available to site down in side the restaurant with A/C . all the pools were very crowded .

The room was kept spotless and the housekeeping staff amused us with their daily creative towel displays. The hotel generally is very clean and tidy. The food was amazing, so much variety. The teenage kids always found something they liked and I had a true holiday from the 'I'm hungry' struggle. The roasted meats & fish were delicious 😋. Genuinely 24/7 food & drink available. Loved the cocktails. The musicians were great and the animation team were 100% heart ❤️. The staff generally were efficient, friendly and quietly attentive to our needs. Thank you to the RIU team, it was just what we needed ❤️

Nothing not to like....a small disappointment was being too slow to book a table for a 2nd BBQ evening and missing out on a second taste of the steak, which was soooo good.

The Location of the hotel is good and the view of the ocean is beautiful. It's all inclusive which is a nice to have and food is always available. Some of the staff are very pleasant.

The hotel does not have a personal touch, it feels very commercial. The security scanning the bags upon entering the lobby is very rude and not welcoming. The beds and pillows as well as the duvet feels very cheap and uncomfortable. There is also some cleaning substance used on the floors that is very slippery and feels oily.

La atención de todo el personal, con mención especial a Geha, que hizo que lo pasáramos muy bien en la piscina. Las comidas exquisitas. Además, nos permitieron quedarnos un poco más en el hotel porque nuestro avión salía tarde.

Casi todos los restaurantes del hotel estaban cerrados, pero es entendible porque me alojé en temporada baja

Locatio n was good and children were take care by the children club specially wabt to highlight Neshtha at children club was caring and we had peace of mind.. Except for reception staff all are good

Five star hotel with a cheap food concept. Not a single meat was there all processed meat only. Very little beef and pork were there. Its a physiological food concept and the same menu was repeated.. Pepsi was available and if you have it you will never have pepsi in your life. They are bringing mega pepsi bottles and filling them to the machine which is cheap. Very disappointed with the food. We were very well cheated by saying that we got an upgrade to the sea view room but we never saw any sea.

The treatment was very bad. All inclusive hotel we came from.Colombo. nobody offer us cup.of water (( all.inclusive ???? The room we got was discusting.( all room was wet water on the floor. Bed was moving side to side..its not acceptable. ( pictures will be sent) . Conditioner didnt work properly. Our baby didnt feel good - thez dont have doctor for emergecy first help (( not acceptable....we payd 100$ to get a private doc....as a client that using booking i expect from your side to take an action and get conpensation for us.. this really very unpleasant stay and unacceptable........

Beautiful private beach at the hotel, loved the location and they have 3 pools which are great for families as my kid loved the kid's and family pool. Food options at all day dining restaraunt was decent and quality of food was good. Check-in was smooth.

Due to full moon festival, alcohol was not provided for the whole day so should have informed prior. Food options in the restaurant can be more borader as variation was less.

The hotel is nice, the pools were clean and the kids really enjoyed playing there. The restaurants were good, everyone could find something delicious. In front of the hotel at the beach there are tour operators who organized us basically anything we wanted.

There was a small kids club, but no indoor play area where the kids could have space to play in case of bad weather. It was more of a room for drawing and activities where they sit at the table. Also the kids pool area needs a renovation.

We expected to find an average selection of food and were very pleasantly surprised by the good qualitify of food and their options, from breakfast to dinner and in between. And, even after dinner time, there were always drinks and snacks available. Staff were very nice and polite and helpful. We loved that there was an adults only pool which meant that we could rest while sunbathing. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

The food was amazing and the staff was extremely helpful and they were extremely welcoming and friendly. Gaytum, David the head chef and assistant head chef were also amazing. The cleaning staff were so awesome and did our room with so much attention to detail it was truly amazing.

This is my 4th time in RIU Ahungalla. I was there in 2018 as a 1st time visitor. From there onwards nothing was improved. Either same or the quality has been reduced. Food selection was reduced every time. Something is less than last time. We ask for a 1 hour late checkout. Which is we are ready to pay if needed. They said its booked back to back. But hotel is not crowded like last times. They gave us an upgrade to see view room. But i didn’t notice until i went to room that it is not a room with double bed which we booked. It just a room with 2 single beds

The place was so beautiful, room was so spacious and clean, and the food was also so good. And specially need to mention about the staff they were so friendly and helpful always smiling with customers. They are doing a great job.

Too much crowded. Can’t even find place to sit in the Main Restaurant. Arrogant staff. No amenities at all in the bathroom. Had to call the reception multipe times and ended up giving us the towels only.

Отель находится на красивом побережье, есть где прогуляться, покупаться, встретить красивые закаты. Очень любезный персонал, всегда готовый помочь в любых вопросах. Сам по себе отель большой, с 3мя бассейнами. В бассейне около бара температура воды градусов 35, наверное, - очень теплая. Этот бассейн предназначен только для туристов 18+. Что вам важно знать про отель - это классический "всё включено". С соответсвующим времяпрепровождением и контингентом (достаточное количество подвыпивших людей). Отель аккуратный, но совсем не зонированный. То есть есть ощущение того, что ты в любом уголке отеля находишься, как в общежитии. Лежаки 100 штук в ряд, столы в огромном ресторане все в ряд, длиннющие коридоры в жилых зонах. Уюта нам лично не хватило. В ресторане достаточно качественная еда, но опять же без аккуратност подачи в блюдах. На любом приеме пищи вы найдете большое разнообразие европейской и ланкийской еды. Всегда много выпечки, хорошая рыба, мясо горячее, сыры приличные, салатный бар хороший, есть супы. Нам за 5 дней еда не надоела и к качеству претензий не было. Мы проехали через всю Шри-Ланку за отпуск и только в этом отеле из 6ти посещенных не почувствовали определенную умиротворяющую атмосферу острова.

Забор с ржавой рабицей высотой в 4 метра, который огораживает лежаки от пляжа. Это выглядит неаккуратно и дешево. Я бы все таки не мог поставить этому отелю 5* (по мелочам везде не дотягивает), на мой взгляд это хорошая крепкая 4*

Location , staff and the food. Kids water park is great for toddlers. Swimming pools and the beach are extremely clean. Staff very friendly.

No room dining service , gets difficult to walk to the eating area with kids .

Kids splash pad is good, but very limited opening time. Beach would be beautiful, but dirty.

Based on the level of service I would categorize more like 2 star hotel, not 5. Dirty room upon arrival, rude staff, very limited opening time of kid facilities, no kids club just a dark hole, dirty beach, low quality fokd, bad smell, no duvet on the bed, just a simple duvet cover.

Кровать в номере была -ужасная , при приезде никто не помог забрать чемоданы , сами выгружали и ложили на ленту сканирования ! При этом стояло рядом 5 человек персонала, все смотрели. ( в отеле такого уровня ) элитного алкоголя нет, даже никаких снеков на баре.. только местный алкоголь!

كنت حاجز غرفه مطله على البحر ولما وصلت قالو مافيه واعطوني غرفه غير مطله على البحر ، كان المفروض يسوون اب قريد ولكن قالو مافي الا هذي الغرفه وتعامل الموظف كان سيء ، صراحه انجبرت عليهم لاني جاي من كولومبو ومابغيت اخرب على اطفالي اللي متحمسين للبحر لكن تجربه شيئه ، المسبح كان جميل والفعاليات جميله لكن اسلوب موظف الاستقبال سيء

It was a great size, and the staff were exceptional throughout our stay. Great facilities, restaurants and pool area as well as the spa.

The only issue we had during our stay was the noise we could hear from our room at night of the vehicles as we were road facing. Also the ceiling fan had a lot of dust on it, so every time we switched it on, it would throw dust so we avoided it.

Безупречный отель. Персонал весь настолько дружелюбный, насколько возможно. Сервис на высоте. Питание отличное, бары работают на 5+. Бассейны идеально чистые, всем место хватало, всего достаточно и в ресторане посадочных мест и лежаков. Анимация имеется... ❤️случилось с этим отелем
