Great location with easy access to sightseeing places in Cape Town, amazing view of table mountain, great food and friendly helpful staff, will definitely stay there again

The breakfast was very good. The hotel is situated in a neighbourhood where you can walk around to the shops, bars and restaurants. It's got a great feel and vibe! I even discovered wine bar No Lunacy: what a treat!

Hmmm, haha, early breakfast for the day you have to travel back home. But that's really just a thought.

The area was ok. The TV only had YouTube no other steaming platforms. Couch was a bit small for 2 people

Die unterkunft war sehr schön und angenehm. Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich und absokut köstlich und das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Der einzige Kritikpunkt is, dass das Bett sehr hart war und leider auch auf Nachfrage kein Matzratzentopper oder ähnliches zur verfügung gestellt werden konnte.

Estuvimos muy bien en el hotel. Es un hotel totalmente renovado y todo es nuevo. Las vistas desde nuestro apartamento eran increíbles y las habitaciones y baños también. El personal muy amable y los chicos en la puerta muy simpáticos. Tuvimos que desalojar por una falsa alarma y todo estuvo muy controlado. Un buen susto, eso sí. Cenamos una noche en el restaurante del hotel y estaba increíble. El desayuno creo que se podría mejorar. Al llegar, tuve una sensación de inseguridad en el barrio, pero enseguida te das cuenta que en Cape Town, todo lo que no sea turístico, te da sensación de inseguridad (sobretodo de noche). Pero después, te acostumbras y te das cuenta, que Cape Town no es una ciudad para caminar, has de ir con Uber a todas partes y desde el hotel, llegas a todo en Uber y barato.

Great location, food, atmosphere and view of table mountain. The staff were helpful and friendly and I could not ask for more! Rooms are spacious with good facilities.

Clean, modern and spacious room. Breakfast options are good and the orange juice is delicious.

The fan is not enough to cool down the room. Perhaps a portable AC could be installed? Having the windows open arent ideal if people are partying on the street.

The building is accessible from anywhere in Cape Town.

The cleaning only took place after new guests were checked in while we were under the impression that they clean the rooms after breakfast and left then, only to come back to not a cleaned place and have to leave again so they clean in the afternoon.

All was good except I had to pay extra for a few more hours in the room that was vacated anyway

"The location is very convenient—right in the city center while still being an easy drive from the airport. It is also within walking distance of the Castle of Good Hope. The rooms are clean and modern. The study area by the front desk is great, featuring tables with electrical outlets that are perfect for getting some work done. There are also private booths in the back, which are ideal for virtual meetings. Additionally, the utensils in the room make it well-suited for long stays, and the breakfast café is very inviting.

he front desk could explain how certain things work a bit better, such as where to find the Wi-Fi code and how to operate the window shades. The entrance is on a side street, making it a bit difficult to get into a car; you really need to step out onto the main street instead. Additionally, the concrete floors feel a bit cold. Lastly, breakfast could be more abundant, and an extra cup of coffee should definitely be free.

Beautiful apartment and clean , very spacious catered to all my needs , Siviwe was exceptionally helpful and very hospitable. We had a good chat aswell.

The bed was too firm and uncomfortable. Had to walk to the laundry room to fetch the iron and ironing board myself. Housekeeping does not bring it to your room themselves. The view was not great and the surroundings are a bit dodgy.

Our Genius room upgrade was great. The apartment was well kitted out and the styling was amazing. I loved all the modern features including.

The view from the level 2 room was not good as we looked straight onto a construction site. No parking on site and the staff weren't fully clear on the process, but we used the adjacent parking and given a acess card for a fee which ended up working well/

الفندق مستوى اقتصادي و نظيف جداً و الموظفين متعاونين و بشوشين جداً كانت الاقامه مريحه و حصلنا على ترقيه من غرفه إلى سويت من غير طلب بالاضافه إلى ان الفطور عباره عن طلب اي وجيه من المنيو و لذيد ( لايوجد بوفيه ) يوجد محل بيتزا بالقرب منهم مشي لذذذذيذدذ ( لايوجد تكييف )

This Location, the tasty breakfast and comfy bed is all you need as a departure base in CPT :)

Just to keep in mind: No parking on site, but secure parking garage just around the corner (+_R300 for the weekend) No smoking allowed on balconies - not even vaping. Only allowed at the restaurant area on the 5ht floor.

I stay here at least once a month and the service is great. The rooms are always in a neat and tidy condition. Breakfast is always on point. Great overall experience.

The staff was very helpful and kind upon our arrival. Our checking in process was very quick as we arrived after 22:00. The room was exceptional and it was warm too which was very beneficial for us because we arrived feeling very cold.

Place is very good overall, however you have to stay at the rooms which are on the back of the building. If you stay facing the street, the noise is unbearable at all times, as windows are paper glass thin. I was assigned to a room facing the front street. Went to the desk, they kindly changed me to a room facing the rear end of the building, with no noise, perfectly comfortable :) So, be aware when you book it, as if it's peak season you'll probably won't have as many free rooms!

The apartment is very high tech and great location.

The finishes of the room where high end and would look good if the room would have been designed (instead it was a large square with lots of negative space in the center). The food was good and the security guards where very friendly.

The room didn't have an AC or heater, when I stayed it was cold and very windy outside. I was freezing in the room (temp was maybe 16°C indoors). The windows are single panel glass, with a nightclub outside and the street directly next to the window it was quite noisy. For the mountain view I had to lean out of the window. The door is opened with a QR code on the phone, no room key is offered.

The room featured modern finishes and was clean and comfortable. The in-house restaurant served fresh, delicious meals, and I particularly enjoyed the freshly squeezed orange juice. I also sent an enquiry via WhatsApp, and the administrator was friendly, responsive, and very helpful.

One small downside was that the rooms have no carpeting, which made them feel quite cold during our stay at the beginning of winter. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

We had a wonderful stay at Neighbourgood 84 Harrington. The hotel has a stylish blend of modern, chic, and rustic design that creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The rooms and common areas are beautifully designed, making it a comfortable and enjoyable place to stay. A highlight of our visit was the fantastic food at the restaurant, East City Grill. Every meal was excellent, and the overall dining experience was outstanding. The hotel also offers great amenities, including a lovely coffee shop that was perfect for starting the day. The location is another major advantage, being centrally situated and close to many of Cape Town’s attractions, restaurants, and activities. Overall, a great stay with excellent facilities, friendly service, and a vibrant atmosphere. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to others visiting Cape Town.

Una estancia fantástica en Ciudad del Cabo! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 ​Nos alojamos en Neighbourgood 84 Harrington y nos gustó muchísimo. El hotel tiene un diseño moderno, súper cool y con un ambiente muy relajado pero con estilo, ideal tanto para parejas como para quienes buscan un lugar cómodo y bien conectado. ​Las habitaciones son amplias, muy bonitas y están equipadas con todo lo necesario (los detalles minuciosos y de bienvenida realmente marcan la diferencia). Las áreas comunes son una maravilla: la zona de la piscina, la cafetería y el espacio de coworking son espacios perfectos para relajarse o pasar el rato. Además, las vistas a la montaña desde algunas zonas del edificio son simplemente espectaculares. ​La ubicación en District Six es muy conveniente, en una zona vibrante y a un paso de un montón de restaurantes, cafeterías y locales estupendos. Mención especial para el personal, que fue encantador, muy amable y atento durante toda nuestra estancia. ​¡Totalmente recomendado! Sin duda volveríamos a repetir.

Security staff were a credit to the hotel, they made sure that they got to know us well and when they expected to see us next. They also didn't hesitate to help with our luggage and spoke to our transfer or taxi providers to help us feel at ease. The rooms are very nicely furnished, large for the price and the kitchen facilities are good for cooking most meals.

The rooms on the lower floors facing the street need better glazing on the windows. There's a lot of road noise from cars and people passing by during the day and night.

El alojamiento está muy bien ubicado, cerca del centro, lo que te permite ir andando por esa zona. Es una zona tranquila. El personal fue muy amable. Llegamos antes para el check-in y nos avisaron en cuanto la habitación estuvo disponible.

Por ponerle un pero, en la habitación hacía un poco de frío y no había manera de calentarla o de regular la tempera de forma individual.

Enorm schone en stijlvolle accommodatie! Kamer was echt van alles gemakken voorzien. Faciliteiten waren ook ruim voldoende, van coworking spaces tot een zwembad met dakterras. Personeel was daarnaast ook onwijs vriendelijke en behulpzaam.

Bed was nogal hard, wat gelijk het enigste minpuntje is wat ik kan bedenken.

The bed was not so comfortable, my view was a construction site with a scaffold exactly behind my living room and bedroom windows. The room phone had something like a mirror on it which made me feel like I am being watched when I make calls to the reception and I only became aware when I was making a call while not fully dressed and I found that very weird

The staff is very friendly and caring. The views are amazing.

The mattress needs to be changed, it was so uncomfortable to sleep on, it’s too hard. In one of the nights the wind was hectic we barely couldn’t sleep at night because it was too much. The door was locked, the wind were closed but it seemed like someone was bagging the door all the the time due to the intense wind conditions.

On the first day of requesting the room to be cleaned we came back to find an object that didn't belong to us on top of our things inside the safe. Being a manager of a hotel myself, I went to see the manager on duty with nothing but good intentions and inform him of what happened as strange as it sounds, it is a very sensitive issue because someone did open that safe while we were out. Unfortunately I was given just standard responses such as 'nobody has access to your safe' which is obviously not true etc. Since the episode wasn't taken seriously as I had hoped, I didn't ask for the room to be cleaned again and ended up carrying my valuables with me all the times as it didn't feel safe anymore. There was no following up from the property until I had asked again closer to check out date.

Tolles Appartement. Perfekt für eine Familie (Room 601). Tolle Aussicht auf den Tafelberg. Lage vom Hotel ist in einem etwas ruhigeren Quartier mit vielen tollen Restaurants.

Gefallen hat und alles. Die Mitarbeitenden der Rezeption könnten etwas freundlicher sein, es ist ja der erste Eindruck den man bekommt. Dafür hat der Security Staff dies um ein Mehrfaches kompensiert.

Modern, clean, and genuinely everything you need for a super comfortable stay. The staff are incredibly friendly, the amenities are fantastic, and you could easily spend your whole day in the hotel without feeling like anything’s missing.

The keywords to describe my experience in this hotel are disappointment, stress, confusion, dissatisfaction, lack of consideration and nonchalance. I wouldn’t like to come back here; at least not at the rate the hotel is charging. I traveled more than 13 hours to arrive Cape Town only to be subjected to the following conditions in Neighbourgood hotel. The hotel was too expensive not only for the neighbourhood but also for the quality of services and infrastructure provided. It seemed to be an old building which was more or less refurbished into a hotel in a rundown neighbourhood: almost every where I went people were sitting on the ground or approaching me to give them money. The view from my window was an old building whose windows were barricaded. Almost everything about the hotel seems to be an afterthought, for example the receptionist is on the 5th floor and my room is on the 2nd. In order to check in, I had to go with my luggage to the 5th floor and down again to the 2nd. The room I stayed didn’t look cheerful at all - black and dark colours were predominant including the mugs and plates. The floor was badly worn out and dirty; it was an eyesore; the curtains were greyish black and torn at the edges. It seemed as if those colours were used to mask filthiness. The staircase is frightening. No booklet to explain the use of certain machines in the room - coffee machine, cooker, complex oven with integrated microwave. I had to call on some of the workers on 3 different occasions to come and show me how to operate them. The same thing applied to the various buttons which control the numerous lights and ceiling in the room. Noisy area both day and night: my room was located at the angle of 2 roads: noises of cars, horns, people in the street, etc. The so-called inclusive breakfast was a problem as the receptionists couldn’t explain it when I was checking in. It wasn’t clear to them at all.
