San Marco Luxury Loft with Terrace

The host Simon was awesome. Accommodated our early arrival and was more than helpful for our first time visit to Venice. Highly recommend his luxury loft.

The apartment was beautiful, spacious and very clean. The location was perfect, right in the heart of Venice and within walking distance of all the main attractions. The terrace was a wonderful bonus and the apartment was very well equipped with everything we needed. Communication with the host was excellent and the check-in process was smooth and easy. We felt at home immediately and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Super appartement parfaitement situé et confortable. On s’y sent vite chez soi. La literie était très confortable et l’agencement de l’appartement super. La terrasse est un vrai plus. On y reviendra sans hésiter lors de notre prochain séjour à Venise.

L’absence de cafetière à dosettes et d’étagères dans la cabine de douche pour ne pas avoir à se baisser

La ubicación y el trato fue perfecto.

Krásné místo blízko centra, velmi dobře zařízené, majitel vyšel vstříc i s požadavkem na další prostěradlo a povlaky na peřinu.

V blízkosti je bar otevřený do jedné hodiny ráno Z ulice je občas slyšet hluk až nahoru do pokoje. Je to dané tím že apartmán je přímo v centru města

It is a beautifully renovated loft space with great attention to detail and interior design. The owner greeted us in person on arrival and is very helpful to be of assistance in any way. The location is very close to San Marco but its backstreet is sufficiently far away from the crowds so it’s very quiet.

I honestly couldn’t fault it. My only regret was that the winter weather meant that we couldn’t use the wonderful outside terrace.

The apartment had all the facilities needed for a very comfortable stay and was amazingly central being only a few minutes away from St Mark’s Square

Casa bella ed accogliente in cui non mancava nulla

We have stayed in many apartments through Booking.com and this is the best ever. It was comfortable, warm (in December), attractive, well appointed, well equipped and in a fantastic location - a few minutes from San Marco. It is only four minutes from the vaporetto and can be reached without crossing any bridges. Admittedly it does have quite a few steps up to the apartment but, once you're up, it's smashing, with very high ceilings and beautiful beams. It even has an outside roof terrace - although it was too cold to use in winter. We will definitely stay there again next time we are in Venice

The apartment is well situated, comfortable, and quiet. The owner and his associates are helpful, the communication was excellent.

If you aren’t happy climbing stairs, you should look elsewhere.

A beautiful apartment in a great location in Venice. Spacious, very clean, very comfortable and well equipped. The lovely terrace was an extra bonus. The host was great. Very responsive and very helpful. We would definitely stay there again. There are 3 flights of stairs to get to the apartment which could be an issue for some. Not a problem at all for us.

Everything you could possibly want is provided and the outdoor terrace is a special bonus. Your home away from home in Venice.

Clean, spacious, Simon, facility, decoration

Simon's assistant Margherita was excellent, and very helpful Apartment location perfect, and well set out.

Standard of apartment and location was excellent but lack of attention to detail damages the 'luxury' description. Towels very thin and small. Spare pillows without covers. Bed was 2 single mattresses Coffee machine without filter papers, when queried, told where we might be able to buy some. Dishwasher with no tablets Not even a bottle of water in the fridge. No shade available on the terrace.. No instructions for air-conditioning

The apartment is even better than the pictures on booking. Both Simon and Cecile gave us all kind of information and were absolutely close and dedicated at all times. Superb place, I would say the best apartment ever found travelling!!!

Great location and host Simon was early getting in touch to plan arrival and answer any questions. The apartment was all we wished for and has a modern spacious feel. Would certainly visit Venice again and stop in this location at Simon's excellent apartment.

We were happy with everything

We absolutely loved our stay at this property, and wish we could’ve stayed longer. Location was fantastic and everything you could need was available in the apartment or at your door step. Simon provided lots of local recommendations and was a great communicator. Very handy to have access to a washing machine and dryer whilst travelling, as well as the terrace and spacious living area.

Great apartment, great terrace - very good location and plenty of space

Great location in San Marco near everything but down a quiet street.Kitchen was very well-equipped and we loved having breakfast or a glass of wine out on the terrace. Bed was comfortable & there was a washing machine. Beautiful, interesting artwork throughout the apartment. Would definitely return here!

It was in a lovely area , the balcony was perfect, the apartment was very well appointed and Simon was on hand to help with a minor problem immediately . We plan to return next spring

Checking in was great, location amazing. Less than 3 min walk to San Marco square. Simon, the owner, is fantastic as a host.

The apartment is older. Sadly, the bedding was fresh but had holes in it, and the bed comforter stains. It's not a trainsmash but something you don't expect when visiting an establishment with a 9.8 rating.

Great place in a great location. My partner and I only had a couple of nights in Venice, so we wanted to stay within fairly easy walking distance of as many of the main tourist sites as possible. The apartment really delivered in that regard as well as being really spacious and well appointed. Simon gave us great directions on the best way to get there from the airport and someone was there to meet us to run us through the place. 10/10 would stay again.

It wasn't a minus for us but if you have mobility issues then this would not be the place for you as there are a few flights of stairs to get up (and your luggage).

This is a gem in Venice. Almost hidden down a short alley, the green door opens up to a delightful apartment. Spacious and very well appointed. We were greeted at the property by our host's representative who explained everything and answered any questions for our 3 night stay. This apartment is in a great location with easy walking access to San Marco Piazza and also Rialto Bridge. Great value for money and a really amazing place to stay in Venice.

Everything was to our liking. The location is really central. Modern apartment with all the amenities. Instant communication with owner. A couple of flights of stairs to navigate. Highly recommended.

The location and size of the accommodation was excellent. So close to San Marco Piazza, yet private too. The apartment was clean and neat with large rooms.

The only difficult thing was the 3-4 flights of stairs to the apartment, but we were well aware of them when we booked and by being on the top floor, it gave us access to the roof top terrace. So the stairs actually provided a bonus.

The size, how it was set out, great kitchen, the TV and channels available. Lovely outdoor area although didn’t get to use as too busy visiting sights and weather not great. The little treats e.g crackers, cakes. Felt welcome. Very bright, fresh and smelt lovely. Simon, the owner very helpful and prompt in answering our questions.

Found the pillows hard. No filter in the coffee peculator so didn’t use. No clothes rack for clothes you don’t want to tumble dry. The stairs, had 2 decent sized bags and it was a good haul up to the loft. Well worth the effort though.

The location is in the heart of the city but away from the hustle and bustle and the apartment is absolutely amazing. Very spacious, clean, with a big terrace and all the facilities for a quality stay. Highly recommended.

Sam Marco Loft is situated in the heart of Venice. Located almost equi-distance from St Marks Square and the Rialto Bridge makes it ideal for everything. The accommodation is spacious and very well equipped. It was particularly hot when we visited, but the air conditioning worked well (and quietly..!) to create a cool oasis. Lots of info in the apartment, and Cecilia was an excellent at getting everything sorted for us. We loved it and would highly recommend. 👍

It is a loft - but be aware the stairs are numerous and steep especially with heavy luggage.

The apartment was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The location is perfect in the San Marco district - close to the main attractions and a very short walk from the nearest Vaporetto. Communication with the host has been exceptional since we booked. Check in was smooth and as planned and he even sorted out our exemption codes for the new tourist entry requirements. The terrace is fantastic for breakfast or a glass of Italian wine in the evening!! We would not hesitate to recommend it. We could even leave our luggage in the building after check out. We loved everything about this accommodation.

The apartment was exceptional. Great design, equipped very well. Location is outstanding - 1 min to Teatro La Fenice, 2 min to San Marco Square, yet it was very quite. Ideal placce to explore Venice.

Excellent location halfway between San Marco square and La Fenice opera house (only a few minutes' walk from either) but quiet and peaceful as in a building in a side alley. Great top-floor apartment with everything you may need for your stay and a fantastic terrace. Smooth check-in & great and efficient contact with the owner and his staff. Can definitely recommend!

The host representative was waiting for us. Meeting time was agreed and corrected from my side. Everything was very smooth.

The apartment is well equipped and extremely comfortable. Our host was very prompt about responding and helpful. The apartment is very easy to get to and very centrally located with lots of nice bars and restaurants nearby and an excellent supermarket a short walk away. As a bonus the aprtment has a washer dryer. One review says there are 65 steps. In fact there are 55 but unless you are extremely unfit, in which case Venice wouldn't be much fun for you, these are easy to manage.

Nothing except the weather which meant we didn't get to use the very cute roof terrace.

Addition to perfect hosting and warm welcoming, comfortable home which is well designed and good location in heart of San Marco make our vacation unforgettable. This desicion gives us chance to feel sprit of city as well. Special thanks to Simon and Cecilia, the little surprise is very meaningful ☺️

The apartment was magnificent, clean and well-kept, very quiet and calm despite the central location, a delightful terrace and excellent WiFi. Thanks to Simon (landlord), I could have left the apartment an hour later.

absolutely nothing

This is an excellent place. Not only the apartment is beautiful, just like the picture, the host is amazing. He is really quick in answering any query and very helpful with extra requests. We even found a nice welcome cake on arrival. Also, given that Venice is full of bridges, this place is incredibly easy to reach with your luggage, as there are no steps between the landing of the ferry and the flat. Similarly, is only 5 minutes walk (no bridges) to the ferry for the airport. We will be coming back if in Venice!

The property was fantastic! Great space and ammenities, perfect location and very secure. The staff both virtually the days leading up and during our stay, as well as during check in were outstanding. Best service ever! Everything was fine!

The apartment was refined and beautiful with all of the necessary items, well even more then needed! Also, the location was amazing! I was there to attend an opera at La Fenice and it was literally steps!! I should also say the apartment was tranquil and the area quiet, amazing!

Super central location from where you can visit everything on foot. Only 2min from St Marco. The appartement is recent and the terrace is pleasant.

In the bedroom, the window on the ceiling doesn’t have shutters. The bed and pillows are hards. The flat is infested with mosquitoes.

Late departure costs some extra money

We had a wonderful stay during our visit in Venice. The apartment seems newly renovated, very clean and we were probably one of the first guests. The kitchen was well equipped with a nice gas stoven and dish-washer. We enjoyed the tasteful furnishing and paintings. The apartment was just like in the photos. An extra was also the nice terrace where we could enjoy in privacy our breakfast in the beautiful Venice sun. The apartment is located very central but also very quiet and in only a few minutes you reach Piazza San Marco, but it is also a great starting point for other city explorations. Simon was very helpful and reacted fast, if we had any issues. He even placed a bottle of wine as birthday present in front of the door. Thank you for the great time we had in Venice.

A few minor things like vine glasses were still missing - probably due to the fact that the apartment is very new.
