Reviewed Apr 13, 2026The home was spacious, it was kid friendly, there was a bathroom per bedroom. It was cosey and warm. Felt like a home away from home. It was nicely decorated, clean. Quite an easy to keep clean home. Lovely big kitchen, butlers kitchen and lovely linen. We really appreciated the host she was very kind and accommodating to us very nice to talk to. We stayed while the cyclone watch was on and she allowed us a late checkout as we were traveling with a new born and were concerned about traveling in the weather. She even offered to house us another night if we needed it.
We had a little issue with cooling the master bedroom the aircon didnt feel like it was working the same way as the other rooms which most likely was caused by user error. Everything else was top notch and wonderful

Reviewed Jan 25, 2026The property was clean and well presented. It was very spacious and ideal for the occasion for which we required it. It was easy to access the property, and the owners/managers instructions were clear and concise. We have saved the detail of this property and fully intend to use it when next we have to travel to Auckland as a family.
There were a few scratches on the walls from previous short-term tenants which we photographed before we move our luggage in, but aside from that, the property is very well maintained and was exactly as described.

Reviewed Jan 20, 2026Very comfortable beds, good air con/heating. Nice bath. Overall very comfortable. When I questioned about the hair dryer plug being wrong plugs to wall connections they delivered a converter promptly.
Didn’t have dressing gowns or sugar.

Reviewed Dec 3, 2025High ceilings, space, comfortable beds, big bathrooms and more toilets to accommodate our big numbers. Great BBQ outside and a beautiful house altogether! Thank you, we had a wonderful stay and would love to come back again.
Trying to work out how to use the temperature gauge on the wall upstairs as it got quite hot. I couldn't work the wall control by the master bathroom, so we slept without blankets.

Reviewed Jan 16, 2025Very large space! We used this for my bridal party to get ready prior to our wedding and it was perfect for photos, makeup artists etc - especially the sheer curtains. Very clean home, new bathrooms. Master bedroom is huge! Well stocked with glassware, plates etc for large groups. Lots of parking, we parked 2 cars in garage. Bluetooth sound system in the lounge was great. Not far from the main road in Devonport, but down a very highly recommend!!
