Reviewed Aug 30, 2026We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, right in the heart of Thamel. The rooms are clean, bright, and comfortable. The manager is very friendly and helpful, and he organized a couple of great day trips around Kathmandu for us. There is also a lovely garden full of plants — and even a few monkeys! It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy a cold beer after a day of exploring. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it!

Behaviour of the room boy Mr. Shree who happened to be the only attendant, was also extremely good. He served everything very respectfully.

Reviewed Jul 25, 2026I arrived from the airport at 2 AM and the room I received had no hot water, smelled like mold, and there was a huge cockroach inside. When I called the owner upset, his response was very impatient and he told me I was welcome to go find another hotel. what kind of person tells a solo female traveler on her very first night in Kathmandu to go wander the streets looking for a room at 2 AM?! That’s a crazy and super sketchy thing to say to a girl alone. In the end, I refused to leave and he moved me to a cleaner room, but the initial experience and his attitude were very disappointing. The place is definitely not worth the price (1900 NPR).

Da wir in der Monsunzeit hier sind, ist nicht viel los und der Chef persönlich, Deepak, ist mit uns als Guide in die Berge zum Trekking gefahren, mit einem ebenso liebenswerten Porter, Siri. Eine unglaublich tolle Erfahrung für unsere Familie! Bei der Rückkehr hatten wir tatsächlich das Gefühl, wieder „nach Hause“ zu kommen. Absolute Weiterempfehlung!

Reviewed Jun 30, 2026থামেলের একদম প্রাণকেন্দ্রে হোটেলটা। রাত 12টায় বের হয়ে দোকান, ক্যাফে, মিউজিক সব পেয়েছি। রুম ক্লিন আর গরম পানি 24/7। স্টাফরা নেপালি হলেও বাংলা-হিন্দি বুঝে, ব্যবহার মাশাল্লাহ। এভারেস্ট যাওয়ার আগে 2 রাত ছিলাম, একদম ভ্যালু ফর মানি। রুম সার্ভিস ফাস্ট, WiFi স্পিডও ভালো। Highly recommended
থামেল স্কয়ার থেকে 5 মিনিট। Clean: রুম একদম চকচকে। Behavior: স্টাফরা আন্তরিক। Price: রিজনেবল। Total: 10/10. আবার নেপাল গেলে এখানেই উঠবো
