Reviewed Sep 10, 2026Wonderfully peaceful to be able to look out and see animals. Rooms are all separate so no noise from other guests. Great place to stay.
The bathroom sink is very time and it is impossible to use without getting wet feet. Extra bath mats would be very useful to layer on the floor for this water.

Reviewed Aug 29, 2026I had a very relaxing long weekend at the farm stay. (Apart from my car battery dying- thanks again for the jump starts). Although there is traffic noise during the day (the road is at least one paddock and some bush away) it is quiet at night, and without light pollution the stars are brilliant. Large deck space to watch the animals from. Three short bush walks. Town is only ten minutes drive. Really enjoyed feeding the animals.
The bathroom was small which is surprising as the rest of the cabin was very roomy, with plenty of space.

Fabulous being able to feed the farm animals and have the barn to hangout in. I can imagine a summer stay with a fire pit and a beer in hand. We will be back again to stay.

The cabin is easy to find, and the parking area is spacious enough to make a U‑turn comfortably. 3. The WiFi speed is excellent. 4. The farm animals are very friendly. 5. The entire area is quiet and peaceful.

Would have appreciated heating being turned on, say one hour, before my arrival. Cabin was cold, heater battery failed, remedied quickly by host, but took several hours for the wall heater and an extra floor heater supplied, to get the cabin warm. Would suggest instructions on how to use the Television (not all people are super modern appliances savy), the microwave, (I managed but with difficulty), and even the wall heater (not a Heat Pump). Mats beside the bed would be nice too, help with the warmth angle, especially when getting out of bed. (Floor is plywood).

Reviewed May 3, 2026This place was amazing. The rooms were beautifully decorated, the WIFI was strong, the host has snacks where you can feed some of the animals (be careful, the llamas spit), the 2 Highland Cows are amazing up close. The place was very peaceful and we loved it here for one night.

Very strict instructions, which I partly understand, on where you could eat so as not to make stains in the accommodation. Made us anxious about doing the right thing. Advertised as breakfast included, which it was, but it was 4 slices of bread in a box (with spreads and butter), wasn't quite what we'd imagined. Signed walks didn't go round in a loop and you had to backtrack. Couldn't find the place to drop the key off

Got up close with the animals, kibble feed by hand to the alpacas and sheep + owners gave us fresh fruit to give to the cows and pigs. I was so excited to stay and this definitely lived up to every expectation! The cabins are so clean and well stocked, heater worked really well for the chilly evening. Facilities are great (massive shower!!) enjoyed a hot drink on the deck. 8minute drive to town, went to explore the lovely water front. Many many thanks! I had a wonderful experience.

Reviewed Mar 5, 2026Beautiful setting, perfect for breaking away from busy work day. Peaceful sitting on the patio watching the animals and just relaxing! Comfortable bed and cottage is perfectly set-up with everything you need. Wish I had more time to make use of the hiking trail on the property!
It is a 'no shoes' cabin, which is no problem as I have a 'no shoes' house. However would have liked to know that before arriving so that I cold bring slippers/ house shoes. So its not that I didn't like it, more like I was not prepared :)

Some sugar sachets would be nice. Road noise quite constant but OK at night. Need a lamp both sides of bed, not just one. Cabin 3 looks directly into Cabin 1, but far enough away.
