It was clean, tidy and we had plenty of room. Bed was comfortable and shower excellent.

No tissues in the room and no instruments for use of the TV and how to get onto local news.

No off street parking, could hear family thru the wall, bed so too hard for us.

The shower and bed were amazing. Neat room set up, which was perfect for us to just get away for the night. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Nice quiet spot to stay. Definitely recommend it if anyone is looking for somewhere to stay for a night.

We had a really lovely overnight stay here! The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The bed was super comfortable, and everything we needed was already provided, which made our stay stress-free. The location was also great—peaceful and relaxing, perfect for a quick getaway. We especially appreciated how easy the check-in and check-out process was. Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable stay, and we would definitely recommend this place to others.

Comfy bed, strong shower, clean and good communication with the hosts. Handy location if you want to visit the Blue Water Springs.

The room was perfectly equipped for a short stay. Check-in was effortless and the view out the skidding doors was lovely.

It’s a bit out of the way. Guests would need a car to get to meals and other amenities.

We loved our stay. It was nice and private and exceptional clean. It was lovely to hear the birds singing when we woke up. The hosts were friendly and easy to communicate with. I will definitely stay here again.

Location not straight forward to find with limited parking for a large car . Towels could be fresher .

The firm bed was really really comfortable. The most comfortable of our whole trip. The outlook from the room was pleasant (greenery). The shower and bathroom were very clean

I prefer not having a common walls with the rest of the house - despite the separate entrance. The room was not large enough to have a lounge chair.

Beautifully clean, with everything you need. FYI, this is a room in someone's home. You may hear the family but there were no loud noises to report.

Come stare a casa propria: c'è una cura eccelsa nei dettagli che garantiscono il massimo comfort e si vede che sono pensati per la comodità dei viaggiatori. Molto apprezzato l'angolo cucina (con frigo, bollitore, microonde, te, caffé, acqua). Infine da rimarcare l'assoluto silenzio intorno che permette un sonno profondo e tranquillo.

The room is nice and clean. This place is comfortable to stay after a long drive. There is plenty of complimentary drinks available for the guests.

No sink near the fridge and microwave. Need to wash cups and plates in the bathroom.

Might have been more convenient being nearer to shops but we had prepared our selves beforehand so wasn’t a problem for us!

There was a misunderstanding around parking. I had asked if there was secure off street parking for my vehicle and trailer (as my trailer had been stolen in the past) and the reply was yes, they could accommodate that and sent me instructions to go up driveway and park on grass, so, I'd pictured in my mind a big parking area. However, when I got there, I quickly learned that it was not so. I wouldn't even fit my ute without a trailer up there, so I had to park it down the road. I was a little nervous, but thankfully, they are situated in a good neighborhood. It was nice and quiet until they got home with their toddler and toddler's being toddler's, the walls suddenly became very thin, and the house got quite noisey until they went to bed. I think if I didn't have such an early start the next morning it probably wouldn't have bothered me. That being said, I would stay there again just because of what you do get for the money.

Peaceful ... private ... the comfortable bed. The fact that you could walk to the shopping centre if you needed to and get all your needs.

Very well thought out…. Really clever use of space. Everything spot on.

The unit was very clean… it sparkled when we arrived. It’s also quite modern-looking. The house of which it is a part appears to be just a few years old, in a neighbourhood of similar homes. We enjoyed sitting on the two wicker chairs outside the entry door, looking at the hectare or so of planted native bushes – very pretty. It’s also relatively inexpensive, at around $150 NZD when we visited in late January 2025. The bed was quite comfortable, though firm. The shower was excellent.

The unit is quite small, it feels like a very small hotel room. (It appears to be a converted small bedroom at one end of the house.) There supposedly is a kitchenette, but really, don’t even think about trying to do any sort of meal here. There is no actual kitchenette, just a clothes closet with a wooden tray. No pots or pans, no utensils, no sink, just a small box containing basic silverware and 2 plates, 2 cups, and 2 bowls. There is a microwave and a half-fridge, but that’s about it as for kitchen-type amenities. No electric fry pan, for example. You have to wash any dishes in the bathroom sink. The town Putaruru is also lacking in eating establishments. So, be prepared. (The pizzas from Orchard Thieves in town are commendable.) Also, the TV had a hard time bringing in some channels, even though it’s supposedly a streaming “smart” TV. My tablet also couldn’t access certain apps (news apps, etc), but was fine with others. So something is weird with their internet service. Parking is on the lawn, and if you have a larger vehicle you may not even be able to get round the corner onto the lawn. You’d have to park on the street. There are no indoor chairs, just a very small tabletop and two hard-top stools. So overall, extremely basic, though clean and fairly modern.

No air con unit in our room. We left the windows open at night , but breeze made blinds bang nosily so had to shut the windows . Parking space tight to manoeuvre into . Would have liked a bigger lock for guaranteed privacy on the door linking the “out of bounds “ hallway to the house.

Was a great halfway stop on our trip north. House was easy to find. Great instructions and communication. Room was exactly what we needed for a brief stopover. Very clean and tidy. Thanks for the chocolate treat!

Bed was a little firm (but that’s personal preference) which is my only comment otherwise everything was as I expected based on the profile.
