What we liked: The view of the forest was lovely and definitely one of the highlights of the stay. The availability of a bonfire was also a nice touch, although we did not get a chance to use it. The dental kit and slippers provided were thoughtful additions. Food service was quick, and while the quality was just okay, the service itself was prompt. Overall, the property has some nice features and amenities, especially the forest view, but cleanliness and the handling of guest concerns could definitely be improved.

What could be better: Early check-in was not possible, which was a little inconvenient. The cups and plates provided were dirty, and when we requested replacements, the request was denied. The linen also had some stains and appeared slightly unclean, with a few burnt marks as well. Unfortunately, we also found a hair in the food. When this was brought to the host’s attention, it did not seem to be acknowledged or addressed, which was disappointing. Overall, the property has some nice features and amenities, especially the forest view, but cleanliness and the handling of guest concerns could definitely be improved.

The people were very helpful. If you asked them for something, it got done. The view outside the room was also very nice. It was away from the main city and secluded from the main road, so calm and serene atmosphere among the hills.

The location was off. It was a long way from the main road. You first had to take a road down, then many stairs and slopes till you reached the room. If you are visiting with aging parents or don't have a car and have problems climbing up / down a long distance, this is not for you. Since the location was off, there were limited food options available. The room also didn't have an AC or fan (wasn't a problem for us due to the nice weather in Ooty).

The geyser didn’t work most of the time and it was a struggle everyday to take a shower. The flooring was extremely cold and they didn’t provide indoor slippers. Our stay was at the bottom of the hill and everyday we had a trek to do to get on the top as the cabs could only be parked on the top. Breakfast was complimentary but our dosa had a big insect cooked in it, glad we saw it and then never had breakfast there.

The views across the forest were incredible!

Very precarious steep slope to get to our room! We had help when we arrived but when we left (5.30am) we had to navigate the rocky uneven path with little light and with two big cases. No mention of this steep path on the booking.com website. Luckily we are fit and healthy and were able to manage it. Kettle in room but no tea/coffee supplies. Breakfast was appalling! Not clean.

Clean room with a view from the shared patio on a field and forest. Saw a family of deer walking by. Peaceful setting. Service was great. Very friendly.

The hotel room was amazing, the stay was comfortable, the food was tasty too. But the view outside the room is cherry on top. You'll feel so connected to nature. The hotel staff are very friendly, especially Faisal is very friendly and he gave me a good treatment whilst my stay at the hotel. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who goes to Ooty.

The place was exceptional, and we thoroughly enjoyed the breathtaking view. The chilled weather was the cherry on top, making our experience even more memorable. We would definitely love to visit again! The service was outstanding. Our room was located on a lower level, and every time we requested anything, the staff never hesitated to climb up and down, despite it being a challenging and tiring task. Their dedication and cooperation truly enhanced our stay.

Break fast we expected a lot options like Idly, vada, pongal with tasty coconut chutney, Food was little expensive . It's ok, we still enjoyed the place.

The only problem is that we don't have a dining table and chair in the room

Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff.

Without doubt the most impressive customer service we have experienced so far while travelling in India. This property is excellent value for money not just because of the reasonable prices and beautiful views, the staff are really switched on, quick to respond, kind and super helpful. From the point of booking our room through to check out, the staff made an already very pleasant stay absolutely wonderful. This place is a new build so everything works well. We have stayed in a three different hotels in and around Ooty and this one was our favourite - a super peaceful place to relax and only a short Tuk-Tuk ride into Ooty if you want to see the sights. Also much better value for money than central Ooty. If like us you love a good night’s sleep more than the sound of car horns then this is definitely the place for you.

The bathroom drains were a little smelly after taking a shower (a very minor thing at these prices). Easily solved by keeping the bathroom door closed.

The room was neat and clean with all the basic facilities. The view was good and their restaurant is good and reasonably priced. The complimentary breakfast was feeling like home food.

Even after booking and blocking for 3 nights we were forced to stay in another property/room which was very stinky and not at all comfortable for one night. That one night was my horrible stay ever in my life. The owner is blaming booking.com for the confusion. But I couldn't believe it. The property owner never compromises and doesn't consider what the customers speak. We are disappointed in that alone. Before booking the stay, I also read a similar review where that customer highlighted the similar issue. They were denied room even though they had booked. The same happened for us for one night.

The place was stunning, the room and the view outside was incredible. The service was top notch. We were asked several times what we needed and food and refreshments were available to us whenever we wished for. The bonfire was also available on demand, which we took benefit of on two nights of our stay. Faizal, the owner, was always available on call and WhatsApp and ready to cater to our needs. The stunning view and great service just won us over.

Great ambiance inside and outside the stay ! Beautiful location and friendly staff and good food

Very simple and compact room, perfect for 2 pax, clear communication from Faizal which is the key for part of this success trip. Faizal is the owner of the property, he had made all the arrangements based on my request. Myself and my mom had good experience, for sure will recommend to my friends. The view upfront of the room is very refreshing as you can see the green side of the Ooty at glance.

Suggestions were made to Faizal, hope he will make some positive changes.

If you have a car I would think parking is hard. I went on a bike. The geyser runs out of hot water fast which is a pain but manageable.

Response of the property staff, no id was taken which is against law, no water provided as complimentary and food quality was pathetic. I got delayed for almost 2.5 hours just waiting for the breakfast to arrive and when that arrived was not asked and given by their choice. Very unhealthy poories and the gravy served was just not liked and I left as it is.

Property had an exceptional view right in front which makes your stay even more memorable
