The vibe you automatically experience being in the jungle, surrounded by exotic animals, from the safety of impenetrable shelter was astounding. The charm lies in it's simplicity. The host did an amazing job and we felt well taken care of. He even provided taxi services to wherever we wanted to go, whenever we wanted, at a competitive rate.

Be careful using the steep stairs at night and be aware that attempting to walk from here to Ella town is equivalent to a workout session

Eine wahnsinnig tolle Cabin mitten im Dschungel. Man hört das Rauschen des Wasserfalls, kann Affen, Vögel und Rehe beobachten. Einfach toll! Der Host ist so freundlich und zuvorkommend. :) Es gibt ein ausgiebiges Frühstück und einen Shuttle zu jeder Uhrzeit in die Stadt. Auch die Ausstattung in der Unterkunft ist top und es ist super sauber! Wir waren rundum begeistert.

Einziges kleines Manko - das WLAN funktioniert nicht zuverlässig. Ist bei der Lage der Unterkunft aber verständlich und vertretbar!

Staying at this jungle cabin just outside Ella was an absolute highlight of our trip. Nestled in a peaceful spot within walking distance of the Nine Arch Bridge, it offers the perfect balance of tranquility and accessibility. Our host went above and beyond, generously offering rides whenever we wanted to explore Ella town, visit the local temple, or hike up Ella Rock. On top of that, the daily breakfasts were incredible—fresh, delicious, and cooked to perfection. An outstanding place to stay; we couldn't recommend it more!

Die Jungle Cabin können wir sehr empfehlen! Der Ausblick vom Balkon ist atemberaubend und man könnte tolle Vögel beobachten. Dilshan war der beste Gastgeber, sehr herzlich und er hat uns jeder Zeit nach Ella oder zu anderen Ausflugsorte zu einem günstigen Preis mit seinem Tuktuk gefahren. Das Frühstück war sehr umfangreich, abwechslungsreich und lecker! 😊

The cabin is a special as the pictures show. It’s in a secluded spot by a waterfall but amazingly close to town and nine arches, both are easily walkable but if not Dilu will happily take you anywhere. Dilu and his brother were excellent hosts, even organising and taking us on a tour to a tea factory and waterfalls. Lovely stay, would 100% return

La disponibilità e l'accoglienza di Dilu, la tranquillità del posto, l'immersione nella giungla, il rumore del ruscello sotto casa e la meravigliosa abitazione ben tenuta e curata nei minimi dettagli (la vera gemma dello Sri Lanka). Distante dal centro di Ella ma raggiungibile con un piacevole percorso pedonale di 2 km che attraversa la foresta e il Nine arch bridge. Pulizia magistrale. Circondati dalla flora e fauna locale.

It was a unique experience to live in the jungle. It is quite remote from Ella, but the host gave us a ride on his tuk tuk, even in the evening. You can walk to 9 arche bridge (about 15 minutes). The host was very helpful. He even brought a cake with candles on my birthday! We wanted to go to Little Adam’s peak and tea factory and he provided us a mini tour! I recommend this Jungle cabin to everyone who wants something special. The only comment: it has stairs steep stairs inside (to the bathroom and bedroom)

Das wunderbare Frühstück auf der Terrasse bescherte uns jeden Morgen einen tollen Start in den Tag. Gefühlt mitten im Dschungel und doch nur wenige Fußminuten von der Nine-Arch-Bridge liegt die großartige Hütte. Der Empfang ist herzlich, das Frühstück großartig! Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Esperienza bellissima, completamente immersi nella natura. La colazione servita sul balcone è un’esperienza incredibile, circondati da natura rigogliosa, uccelli bellissimi e a volte anche scoiattoli. Il proprietario è gentilissimo e fa di tutto per rendere il soggiorno perfetto. Il ruscello a due passi, praticamente privato, è incredibile. Il centro è raggiungibile in Tuktuk mentre Nine Arch Bridge è raggiungibile a piedi.

Absolutely incredible property nestled in the jungle, yet still so close to Ella. Staying here was the highlight of my Sri Lanka trip so far. I’ve travelled to 34 countries and I honestly cannot think of any accommodation I’ve stayed in that has been better. Hearing the constant flow of the waterfall and bird song in the morning is a perfect way to start the day. The service was excellent, with a tasty breakfast. Would highly recommend and would love to return if I ever visit Ella again. It felt like the perfect retreat away from the noise of Ella town, yet still accessible to all the sights. Thank you for the most incredible nature stay!

Die Cabin ist sehr besonders und liegt in wunderbarer Lage direkt an einem kleinen Wasserfall und Bach mitten im Dschungel ohne Nachbarn. Dadurch, dass es die nur eine Cabin gibt, ist die Bewirtung sehr persönlich und privat. Die Unterkunft hat drei Stockwerke und ist damit sehr geräumig. Die Ausstattung ist gut und es ist sehr sauber. Zudem ist Dilu ein fantastischer Host und hat unseren Aufenthalt nochmal so viel besonderer gemacht! Er ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend und hat uns mit seinem Tuktuk immer sehr zuverlässig nach Ella und zu unseren Wunschlocations gebracht und uns einige Tipps gegeben sowie all unsere Frage beantwortet. Man hat mit ihm quasi einen privaten Fahrer, dem man total vertrauen kann. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls grandios und sehr reichhaltig. Es gab jeden Tag etwas anderes und von allem reichlich und zudem immer frisch zubereitet. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft allen, die in Ella etwas Besonderes und naturnahes suchen.

De ligging en de rust, zo bijzonder. Het ontbijt en de onbeperkte service en meer dan vriendelijke eigenaar. Voor alles was een oplossing. En nu vergeet ik het ontbijt nog te noemen. Iedere ochtend weer een verrassing.

A cabin literally in the middle of the jungle. This is nature at its best. Run by a family although most of our contact was with Dilu, one of the brothers. They were fantastic hosts in every way. Although you are isolated, there are two restaurants less than 10 mins in tuk tuk right by the nine arch bridge. Dilu . If we han no time to go into town Dilu would take us and bring us back in his tuk tuk. You can also get a tuk tuk to Ella town for around 1000 rupees. This is a family business which has been running for about 7 months. So when we arrived and I asked him how many huts they had and he said one, I was amazed. This is the beauty of this cabin. No neighbours, no noise. The family live a few hundred meters along the jungle path, so you are totally alone. The photo of the cabin roof on booking.com is the only angle you can get for a photo. Its just jungle.We stayed 4 nights and did not get bored. More than I can say for our next stop Candy ( one night in Candy is enough) Also you have a great breakfast brought to your door every morning that you can eat on the balcony of your cabin with a beautiful view of the jungle and the stream. We have been all over south, south east Asia and this is one of, if not THE most pretty places we have stayed. Advice. They building a second cabin, so if you want to experience this fantastic setting, now is the time. Finally. If Dilu or his family read this, Iwant to thank you again for everything you did to make our stay what it was.

To start with, Dilu bro was an impeccable host! We reached a bit too late with some issues with our transport and stuff. Owing to all that we were a bit low on energy and a bit hot headed. But Dilu bro handled us so calmly and he was very kind and courteous to all our necessities. He helped out with the transit, our dinner and made sure that we had a perfect breakfast on the go, even though our requested time was a bit too early. He even drove us all the way to Badulla for a very decent price in his tuktuk.He was on time always and has been a gem throughout! Wishing this stay all the very best in their future. The stay was also very cozy and comfortable. The only downsides from my perspective was the distance from the city centre, but worry not, cause the hosts are very considerate about that issue and will make sure that you don't feel the struggle of reaching and leaving their property. It is literally nestled in a jungle with a beautiful ravine flowing beside it! Great views, great food and insanelyyy awesome hospitality! 🔥❤️

The accommodation is a dream come true. Spread over three floors, this cabin is surrounded by lush greenery. What's more, the host is very attentive and is always happy to drive guests anywhere in his tuk-tuk. Even when we set off at 4:20 a.m. to watch the sunrise on Ella Rock. What's more, the breakfast is the best we've had in the whole of Sri Lanka.

Everything was perfect: the isolated place in the jungle with a river, the perfect service and breakfast and the luxurious cabana. You also can do nice hiking from the place.

Eine ganz besondere Unterkunft mitten in der Natur und sehr komfortabel, sehr sauber und luxeriös . Man hört die Naturgeräusche und die Gastgeber sind sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit! Wir wurden im Regen netterweise abgeholt und sehr nett zur Hütte begleitet! Morgens haben wir das allerbeste Frühstück bekommen was wir auf unsere Reise durch Sri Lanka hatten! The cabin is a bit secluded and a 20 minutes drive from Ella town, however the staff went above and beyond to help us get everywhere!

We had a lovely stay in the middle of the jungle, away from Ella crowded city center. The host was so kind and arrange everything to make our stay even better. Spending time on the terrasse, by the sound of the waterfall, was great and breakfast was delicious. Bravo for this hotel !

A beautiful cabin on top of a water stream surrounded by thick forest. Takes you into the jungle with just the right feeling of being in the wild with safety. It is run by a family, the three brothers took great care in ensuring that our stay was comfortable and that we could easily move back and forth from the jungle to Ella. It was a pleasant walk away from the Nine arch bridge. The breakfast was exceptional. I loved the place and would definitely want people to enjoy the wilderness.

We had a fantastic stay here – the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka! We want to keep it our little secret, but the owner deserves more. Everything was taken care of, and the cottage had absolutely everything we needed, even travel adapters, bins, tea, coffee, umbrellas, everything. The view was truly stunning (overlooking a waterfall in a private patch of jungle). The owners were incredibly kind. For example, a thunderstorm caused a temporary power outage, they came through the pouring rain to bring us a storm lamp and an extra blanket we didn't ask for. Breakfast was absolutely amazing. We stayed for three nights (Ella is very easy to explore by scooter) and left with heavy hearts. In short: a beautiful place, beautiful people.

The host arranged transport whenever we wanted, at a reasonable price! Really nice location close to the bridge, perfect to escape the busy tourist areas. Cosy and romantic place where you can come to rest and enjoy Ella. Amazing breakfast too! Don't miss this when visiting the area.
