Close to all but quiet

The apartment was perfectly located in a peaceful neighbourhood while still being conveniently close to everything we needed. The housekeeping was outstanding, and the apartment was beautifully maintained throughout our stay.

Great location, friendly staff

Apartment is quite cold. Little to no sunlight. A heater is provided but doesn’t do much. Bedding could be adjusted seasonally (warmer bedding for winter, etc)

Rooms were great and all looked very new

Tumble drier made the clothes wetter, nothing to wash and dry dishes, shower door rubber was missing at the bottom so water leaked , bedroom plugs have an issue with power

Cleanliness

No extra blankets 1 just one extra inner which had no duvet cover. We needed extra blankets for the two bedroom apartment. No air conditioning which made the rooms very cold especially in this winter. Health risk in this cold weather. No heater in room 105 we had to given the heat from the reception which did not even warm the lounge. No tea bags, coffee or sugar in room 105. Bench was very uncomfortable & the two dining chairs. No dishwasher liquid.

The interior décor was beautiful and thoughtfully designed. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the location was perfect, convenient and close to everything I needed.

The bathroom had a strong unpleasant smell coming from the drains whenever water was used. The odor would spread into the room, making the stay uncomfortable. Unfortunately, there was no air freshener provided, so I had to use my own perfume to help mask the smell. The property was smaller than it appeared in the photos advertised on Booking.com, which created expectations that did not fully match the actual space.

The fact that when our staff member arrived, she had to pay a R1000 deposit which is unheard of, as we already paid for the room via bookings dot com and nowhere does it state that we had to pay a deposit. Where must staff get a R1000 from for a deposit?

Modern decor. Well-equipped, open-plan kitchen & living area. Solid Wi-Fi. Friendly reception staff. Secure parking & access control. Elevator. Short walk into the centre of Seapoint and the beachfront.

The windowless bathroom steams up very quickly due to the extractor fan not working. The walk-in rain shower also creates a water overflow onto the floor section in front of the shower. When we first arrived in the room, the sofa & cushions were extremely wet after seemingly having been cleaned by housekeeping - the sofa was thus not useable during our entire stay. The apartment was also extremely cold due to the weather conditions in Cape Town at the time, but one portable 3-bar heater was thankfully provided for in the room.

Comfortable bed and Cosy little space

There we stains on the bed mattress and the blank of the base was broken, 2 holes in the couch and rsut in the bathroom sink.

The location was perfect for our needs. The building has parking, which is unusual in the area. When we checked in the flat was spotless.

The flat is supposed to be cleaned daily, but there was no cleaning, only making beds. I think they wash dishes, but we didn't leave any dishes to be washed. I expected the bathrooms to be cleaned and the floors to be swept during our stay, but they weren't. We also were supposed to receive fresh linen and we didn't. Seapoint as an area is also quite noisy, which is just a location issue, but is worth noting.

The location is great, the room is cute and has everything you need. A small sitting area, a comfortable bed, a furnished kitchen, a big shower and plenty cupboard space. The staff was friendly and helpful, the sound proofing is great.

Decent cooking facilities

No aircon unfortunately, only a fan. Staff tutted and rolled her when asked if we could store our luggage. The bed was quite lumpy, and the sofa had burn holes in it

It’s literally central to everything which is amazing because it’s a self-catering place. The shower … my gosh!! To die for!!

Wasn’t particularly pleased about the breakages deposit thing. Yeah, it’s on the website but you have to look for it. I suggest include it in the price and then refund it when leaving.

Es gab keinen Trockner wie angegeben, Küche spartanisch ausgestatet ( keine Bratpfanne und dazugehöriges Equipment), Bügelbrett defekt, viel zu klein zu niedrig entsprach einer Kinderstube. Backofen total verdreckt Kaffeutensilien gibt es nur bei Ankunft Kein Küchentisch und Stühle vorhanden,, eine sehr unbequeme Couch. In 6 Wochen keine Reinigung vom Balkon. Wir mussten Personal auf ein Wasserleck hinweisen! Bett zu klein und ein grosses Oberbett Schimmelpilze im Bad und viele Ameisen überall im Appartement

We stayed here for two weeks working from the flat. It’s spacious for two people with a small balcony and fully equipped kitchen area. The pool area on the rooftop is great with views on Lion’s Head. Staff were also great throughout and the rooms were serviced if required. The location is perfect, just off the main road in Sea Point and walkable to bars, restaurants and the beach.

The Totalstay staff was unwilling to assist, the apartment floor was wet, looks like it was flooding. Informed the staff, they did not bother to bring a mop or even move me to a different room.

Great apartment for our family, well equipped and clean. Huge apartment lots of space. Kids loved the pool and roof terrace.

Central Location in Sea Point close to shops, good restaurants and even to the Promenade.

Bathroom showed wear and tear in form of muldew corners. Safe was in the sleeping room wardrobe and not secured. You could have just grab it and walk away with it.

The staff didn’t feel very friendly, and the room wasn’t cleaned well during my stay. Bed sheets were only changed after three days, and because it was a public holiday, it took even longer. They should pay a bit more attention to cleanliness and overall service.

No Aircon , and I was charged R150 for pillow case with a tiny dot of blood , my son's pimple popped whilst he was sleeping. it was a mere spec of blood !! I was also not informed upfront about this charge! I have never been charged for something like this in all the time I have travelled...

Our cleaner and the Reception desk host were friendly and feel sorry for them based on everything else we experienced. Allocation is great if you're looking to access Sea Point and the Atlantic Seaboard and the pool terrace is very nice.

Room was still dirty when we checked in (crumbs in draws, table stained) Smelt of urine outside the entrance (and actively saw someone peeing in the bushes outside during the day) They took the table away to respray and we therefore had none for 2 days. Bathroom had sticky residue on the floor and when we asked for it to be fixed were told there is nothing they can do, and that it was left over from something they fixed. Shower leaked all over the bathroom floor everytime we showered. Microwave Door Chipped Female Staff member came in to remove cot, saw my wife was topless breastfeeding continued entering and then encouraged a man to enter the room without asking permission. Making her VERY uncomfortable. Rubber on Footer of Bin missing and therefore sharp on feet Replaced Bathmat with one that was extremely threaded Coffee pods but no coffee machine

How close the property was to a shopping centre (The Point) which made it convenient to get supplies, it is also close to Camps Bay, Clifton and the city centre

They only give fresh towels and change the bedding every three days which I felt was a bit too long given how quickly dirt can build up especially when one is on holiday and constantly out and about. There was also no cleaning on public holidays and on Sundays
