Wonderful place to stay - it was actually really easy to get to by car, about 45-55 minutes from Dublin Airport. Location was perfect - I was attending a wedding at Cabra Castle which was only a short taxi ride away (the host helped provide details for a taxi as well which was very helpful). Also just a 5 minutes drive from the local shops in Carrickmacross. Having never driven in another country it was super easy! Host was very welcoming and quick to reply to messages - I asked if there was an ironing board and iron I could use and it was brought straight over. Any questions I had were answered almost immediately. It was like a home from home! The accommodation had everything I needed and was absolutely spotless. Shower was powerful and nice and hot with huge bath towels provided. Literally couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay
Nothing! I couldn't find fault with anything - service provided was fabulous.
Very clean. Fridge + microwave available. Quiet & comfortable.
A bit tricky to find the location.
It was great to have the kitchen if we had needed it
Nothing all was perfect
Very clean and cozy
Nice apartment. Perfect for an overnight stay near Carrickmacross. Thanks a lot for your hospitality.
Very accommodating for a late booking. Warm and well equipped. Extra duvets, room heater, instant hot water, tea & coffee, decent quality towels and even a hair dryer!
Location was listed poorly!
Ideal for a long weekend break for peace and quiet definitely a car is needed fabulous views the host offered to drop us in to town which was so kind
The apartment was spotless , lovely area , Pat was extremely helpful and pleasant, highly appreciated. Will definitely be back .
Space outside for my son and the overall facilities
Noisy bed
Beautiful and peaceful location
It's not a big issue, but we probably would have liked some coffee sachets and tea bags supplied (to add to the milk which was very kindly supplied) - a hot tea or coffee after arriving would have been great.
No hot water this morning in shower
The hosts were really accommodating and friendly. Pat replied really quickly. Very nicely set room - had the basic equipment in the kitchen and had a big TV which was nice.
Location was difficult for us as we didn’t have a car so I would recommend that you have transport secured before booking. Taxi is a bit hard to book and expensive. No tea, coffee and shower gel incase you need it.
It was such a peaceful place to be for the night. Comfortable and warm.
No tea/coffee/milk supplies in room
Our stay at the Twin Lakes Studio Apt was absolutely wonderful. The location is peaceful and serene, and it was conveniently close to Cabra Castle, which was the main reason for our visit. The drive in the area is beautiful. The studio itself was well-equipped with all the necessary amenities for our 3-night stay, making it a perfect and comfortable base for our trip.
Size of room, bath in bathroom, shampoo, conditioner, & soap available, washing up liquid, lovely setting, well kept grounds, owners very nice & helpful & allowed us a bit longer for checkout which was much appreciated.
Thin towels, lack oh tea towel to dry dishes, would be nice if some basics were available, eg a couple of teabags, portions of butter, toilet cistern was very slow to fill.
Very good host. We arrived very late and didn't have dinner, so the host drove us out to find a Chinese restaurant. The host's family is very friendly, and we are lucky to meet such a loving family.
Location prefect
Place was amazing, view beautiful & lovely place to stay
I liked the place, quiet so perfect for relaxing. Has everything what's needed to cook for ourselves.
Very convenient stop to break a long journey. Late arrival was facilitated. Room prepared by host to suit our party.
All good.
