We did not want or need for anything, the house was very well equipped. We had an issue with the front door and the owner got back to us within 30 minutes, which is very acceptable.

The issue with the front door resolved itself as it may have been caused by heat from the sun but this could recur again and should be addressed in the near future.

Very clean and modern, excellent facilities, comfortable beds!

The facilities were exceptional, the communication was excellent. The keypad for the door was confusing, but maybe I'm a bit old

The property was very clean and spacious. Kitchen facilities and appliances were excellent. All in, we had a very enjoyable stay. The key code access made arrival to the property very convenient.

Gorgeous townhouse. Bigger than it looks on pictures and super clean and modern. Great base for a wedding. Really easy check in and out. Recommend

We had a fantastic stay at Little Alfies! The apartment is ideally located just a stone’s throw from Main Street, making it super convenient for shops, cafés, and everything Carrickmacross has to offer. Despite being so central, it’s peaceful and private — the perfect balance. The apartment itself was spotless, well-equipped, and beautifully decorated. Everything we needed for a comfortable self-catering stay was provided, from kitchen essentials to cosy bedding. It felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a stylish, convenient, and relaxing base in Carrickmacross. We’ll definitely be back!

We liked that the property was clean,light and spacious. The property was modern and had everything we need. There was everything on the the doorstep to enjoy our short stay. We attended a wedding at Cabra castle,which was easy to get to by taxi.

Location and suitable was ideal. It was spotless and had all the necessary requirements that we needed.

The guest who used the sofa bed was woken very early with the summer sun coming in from the skylight in the kitchen. A curtain on the glass door into the kitchen would have been ideal

Great location for what we were looking for. Only 50min drive to Emerald park and 1h30 to Belfast. Townhouse on very quiet street. Would definitely stay there again

The location was excellent! The property location was just off of the main strip of the town. Walking was no issue. The host was very prompt with responses for any questions and the check-in instructions were very easy to follow! I would highly recommend staying here for any duration of stay!

Clean amd tidy and close to everything

We stayed here after a wedding in cabra castle, which was only a 15min drive from the property. Everything about the property was fantastic. Charlotte was extremely helpful in getting the sofa bed set up for us, the beds themselves were hotel level of comfort.

A beautiful, larger than anticipated house that was super clean, comfortable, warm and stocked with almost everything we needed for the perfect stay. Very easily accessible and the host had oceans of information in her welcome email.

We didn’t “not like” anything ☺️ However, I would recommend having a travel cot tucked away somewhere.

Location & layout

That the cleaner walked into the house with her own key at 10.55am & waited outside the door & watched us pack up. It was a bit unprofessional & unnecessary

Very clean and very warm , just perfect. We had dinner in the Courthouse restaurant so it was so convenient. Alfies Little Townhouse was dog friendly which let us bring our pet with us.

The house is new and clean.

The heating didn't work at all. The heating was off when we arrived. We turned on the boost as per the owner's instructions and travelled to Belfast for sightseeing. Upon returning, the house was still freezing cold. We turned on the boost again and made a fire for heating. Even after an hour, both rooms were freezing. By this time, we called the owner for help. He was very nice and turned up in 5 minutes. He checked the entire system and got heating to one room partially. He also got us a fan heater, apologized, and told us the heating have been left on and won't be needing boosting (which should have been done from the start). This was almost 12 past midnight. In the end, we said it was fine, and one couple slept near the fireplace and the other in one room with a fan heater. To be honest, our sleep was ruined. Appart from the ground floor, everything else was chilly, and the thermostat sensor is kept in the kitchen (not the place anyone sleeps)
