Quiet location, nice views, car parking.

The bed was in an alcove, with very little room at the sides - you had to walk sideways. Also you had to be careful not to bang your head on the bedside shelf. The breakfast was very disappointing - tinned fruit and no yoghurt at 9am on the second morning; only scrapings left in the tub of Clover margarine (no butter). Dining chairs and tables resembled those in an old military cookhouse and were very hard and uncomfortable.

Although nice the kitchenette could do with a few extras, maybe another pan & a small toaster just for more convenience. Apart from that it was great .

Great position with beautiful views over the sea to Looe Island. Lovely balcony. Comfortable bed and functional bathroom. I enjoyed the continental breakfast in the breakfast room looking out over the superb view.

It was a bit strange to have no wardrobe. There were coat hangers on coat hooks next to the bed which were fine for a two night stay but would have been awkward for longer.

Cleanliness of the room and the hotel in general was exceptional. The staff were very friendly, polite and professional. The verandah view was stunning. A short privacy screen on the verandah would be beneficial. Great coffee and hot chocolate from the vending machine in the reception.

Parking was in a first come first served policy and was not full explained on the website. Too many cars for not enough Spaces. Spaces were a bit 'snug' too.

All staff were helpful and cheerful, had issues with my car the day I was leaving, and they were really helpful.

Location and parking were what we wanted. It was perfect to park and walk into town:) the staff were super friendly and made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed a nice breakfast and an 11am check out so we didnt feel rushed to leave.

we liked the decor, the cleanliness, the staff were all friendly and how chilled the atmosphere is there. it really felt relaxing to be there. breakfast was also relaxing and we didn't feel rushed to finish when we arrived later during breakfast time.

the compressor in the fridge in room 2 was a little rattly/noisy - I forgot to mention this during our stay as we were really impressed and this wasn't so much of a major thing.

Didn’t have the breakfast as it was only continental breakfast on offer although it did look good. There is a coffee machine in reception that was free to use and was very useful, we used it a couple of times every day. Nice outside decking area to sit and have coffee and chat. Nice big balcony (room 9) with fantastic sea view. Very helpful staff.

Nothing really, managed to get a parking space in the on site car park every day although the first two days we were blocked in because two cars were using the overflow which means four or five cars can’t get out

The staff here are absolutely wonderful and nothing is too much trouble they go over and above to make sure you have a pleasant stay. Rooms are lovely we had a see view and it all looked quite new and fresh.

Not always enough parking but you can park on the roadside outside.

The property was a little bit out of the centre and poor mobility issues meant we had to drive everywhere. That said, the view from our balcony was awesome.

Splendida vista mare e comoda con le spiagge. Per il centro di Looe occorre una breve camminata. Il parcheggio è presente ma in alta stagione si riempie; l'alternativa è sulla strada principale a 200 metri.

C'est un appart hôtel donc c'est bien équipé et il est possible d'y rester pour un séjour long notamment grâce à la petite cuisine installée dans chaque chambre. L'espace commun est agréable notamment pour le petit déjeuner. Le personnel est très disponible.

Le petit déjeuner n'était pas inclus et même si ce n'est que 10€ supplémentaire j'étais déçu car vu le prix de la chambre je m'attendais à ce que le petit déjeuner soit inclus. Nous avions pris une chambre avec vue sur mer mais ce n'est finalement pas si intéressant car il y a une rangée de bâtiment devant, on entend leur clim et les balcons sont partagés avec les voisins donc ce n'est pas très intime.

The views from the lounge and outside seating area were glorious and breakfast in the sun very enervating. Room was comfortable and the air conditioning good. The fridge was a definite bonus in the heatwave. Breakfast was healthy and had a good variety of items.

The arrangement of the room was a little strange. I didnt use the tv but it was at an odd angle for viewing. The kettle did not plug into the wall where there was the table space so had to be plugged into the bedside table socket. People's voices carried so there was more noise late at night and early morning than expected

Very clean the bed was very comfortable and owner and his wife and his staff were very helpful and friendly.

If have mobility issues it is quite steep with lots of stairs in the hotel. Having said that there was a chap with walking sticks who still managed.

We booked for our 1st wedding anniversary for 8 nights.. we had a balcony sea view which was breathtaking, very beautiful. It was very clean and the staff were very helpful and polite. Only a few things I'd change is the parking is very limited which resulted in having to park away from the hotel on the surrounding roads if you're lucky enough to find a space. And also I feel for the price we paid, id expect breakfast to be included , rather than £10/15 per person per day. There's no lift only stairs , so not really disabled friendly. And the hotel itself is up high so the surrounding is on an incline. BUT the balcony views were amazing.

Hellhörige Zimmer und einsichtiger Balkon, sehr dürftiges Frühstück (man findet sich aber was), mühsam darauf zu gehender dicker Teppich überall im Hotel auf Gängen und in Zimmer

Wir waren für vier Nächt dort um uns in der Gegend etwas umzusehen. Das Hotel, eher eine klassische Pension, liegt ruhig über dem Meer. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon und Meerblick. Das war sehr schön. Jedoch muss man sagen das die Zimmer schon sehr klein sind und das Bett auch. Das war arg schmal, für uns ging das gerade aber wir sind nichtmal 1,70 cm groß ! Das ganze Haus ist renoviert und recht gut in Schuss. Frühstück hätte besser sein können und warum es keinen Zimmerservice gibt ..... keine Ahnung. Das hätte man aber sicher anforden können. Ist halt auch nicht ganz billig deshalb sollte man an der einen oder anderen Stelle schon noch einige Stellschrauben drehen um das Gesamterlebnis zu perfektionieren.

Wundervolle Aussichtsterrasse, herrlicher Spaziergang ins Städtchen, sehr nettes Personal, das Frühstück ist vielfältig und fein.

Location is lovely. Nice 15 minute walk into town. The staff are friendly. Our room was spacious and clean. Key pad room door entry. Coffee tea biscuits replaced. Lovely big white clean towels. Kitchenette facility was good. Bed was quite comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

The disgusting bath panel needed replacing and spoilt the bathroom. The TV was difficult to work so didn’t watch it in the end. Our view was of a wall but I knew that before I got there. Would stay in this room again though just needs that bath panel sorting.

Large well appointed room with the outside space an added bonus. Friendly helpful staff.

It was very hot when we were there and even though we could leave our balcony door open, there was no breeze, so a fan would have been very helpful. We received a generic message to say that the property now was supporting self catering accommodation with a small kitchenette including a microwave. Hence we arrived with some reheatable food. There was no microwave in our room. However, the staff kindly allowed us to use the kitchen microwave.

I will say the location was very hilly but we knew that when we booked but in all fairness was very easy to find.

There was nothing we didn’t like all good.

We loved the complimentary coffees free of charge and found them useful to drink when we got back tired at the end of the day. Also we loved the big Gazebo in the garden to sit in the shade and relax in comfortable surroundings. We also liked our balcony and sea view and spent a lot of time out on it looking at the beautiful sea! The views around Looe bay were spectacular. The Hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was very good as well 10 minutes walk into the centre of Looe!

We didnt like the double bed in the room. We both found it small and cramped and hot as we are used to a kingsize bed at home! There was also no sunbed on the balcony as advertised in the advertisement and no outdoor swimming pool. We also didnt like the open plan balconies. There was absolutely no privacy out there and you could see the other guests out there!

This hotel is quite basic but the room and sea view was great. Very clean with a little kitchen which we didn't use. The walk back up to the hotel is beautiful but a little challenging for us older people so bear that in mind.

The staff were wonderful but you had to go find them.

The location is lovely. Parking is first come first served but it is not far to walk to park roadside for free if necessary. We have stayed twice before and this time the room was perfect for us. The views stunning from the balcony and window. Have dual aspect meant there was a nice breeze. Fridge in room is great plus some basic other kitchen bits. Very friendly.

Only comment I would make to have made it even better was a bigger bed - used to king size so a bit small but not a deal breaker. Will be back.

It’s a long steep walk to the centre of Looe. There’s a bus stop nearby, although buses are infrequent. No wardrobe in room and little room for suitcase. No marmalade or croissants 2 days running

Car parking, lack of storage for clothes, could do with umbrella on the balconies especially in the morning during warm and sunny periods. Not good for those with limited mobility.

Great location with an unbelievable view and short stroll into the town. Staff very friendly and helpful. Nice to have the option of cooking food with the kitchenette.

Only issue we had was with some people on other balconies smoking, which the smoke then came right into our room. Being non smokers this really frustrated us as we couldn't have the balcony door open for longer than 10 minutes on the first night as the room three doors down was lighting up every 5-10 minutes. The hotel is advertised as "non smoking throughout" on booking.com and on the website says no smoking in rooms or on balconys, but yet there are ash trays on each balcony table??? It needs to be clear if the hotel is non smoking throughout or smoking is allowed. When asking staff they said it is meant to be non smoking but guests do it anyway so ash trays were put on the balconies. It's just not clear and we would have potentially stayed elsewhere if we knew this. On our second night a different room lighted up as well but thankfully was only twice. Apart from this the stay was great.

Lovely hotel ladies were really welcoming on arrival. The room was lovely, and it was great to have a fridge.

Location was slightly out, so if you have mobility issues, you would struggle to get to the centre of looe. Taxis are a nightmare to get they are about 1 hour wait for a taxi so always pre book.

.clean, reasonably appointed, good view over the sea. Basically, a B&B, but without the breakfast.

The balcony was just a fire exit route.. didn't like that you could not book a room without a kitchenette, who can other rooms was right by the bed. Situated a the top of a very steep hill.
