Place was clean, close to downtown. Mitsuko and Norm were proactive and communicated well. Breakfast was the best of our entire trip. Home is decorated with taste. Overall very satisfied!

Much more that I liked. It was extremely clean and comfortable. There was a comfortable living room and then a comfortable TV room upstairs. My favorite space was the deck at the back of the house. The breakfast was absolutely excellent. I swear one of the owners was a chief. Extremely well done breakfast. The couple was extremely friendly and respectful too.

A bit hard to find. The road looks more like a back alley but the pictures of the sight helped me to feel certain I was at the right place. Once I got there everything else was great.

Localisation à 5 min de la plage et 10 min du centre ville à pied, le petit déjeuner incroyable et l’accueil / la disponibilité des hôtes.

Goede locatie, dichtbij het centrum en een prachtige, schone accommodatie met veel ruimte. Het persoonlijke ontbijt was ook een topper. Daarnaast hebben we veel tips gekregen van de eigenaren.

De bedden en kussens waren voor ons wat te zacht, waardoor het slapen wat minder was.

Inability to lock bedroom door when leaving. However, there was nobody else staying bit had there been, I would've felt uncomfortable leaving our belongings

The hosts were so accommodating. They live next door, so you basically have a whole house and back porch to yourself. Love all the hooks and cabinets in the room.

The whole apartment surpassed expectations. It was large and beautifully furnished. The beds were sumptuously comfortable- really luxurious. The couple who ran the place were so friendly and hospitable. Very quick to answer any query and were so helpful. They made an incredible fresh breakfast for us every morning. The place was large and had a decking area to sit in the evenings. Very close to amenities. Definitely an incredibly luxurious and aesthetically pleasing stay.

Easy check in; the b&b is located in a quiet residential area close to the beach; the hosts are friendly. The room was perfectly clean and comfortably equipped. Breakfast was good too. Would stay there again.

The house was great and beyond expectations. They were extremely responsive and welcoming. The location was amazing for the across the lake swim we were there for.

definately on the highway so as long as you are not sensitive to traffic noise it is just fine. The ceiling fan wasn't working and they provided a small fan as an alternative.

We had a wonderful stay! The location is perfect, just a short walk from the beach. The room was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was also very quiet—we couldn’t hear our neighbors at all, which made it even more relaxing. The hosts clearly pay great attention to detail. Breakfast was not only delicious and filling but also beautifully presented. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily come back. Highly recommended!

The Bed and Breakfast is a tranquil spot in a great location within easy walking distance of downtown and the lake. We especially enjoyed the outside space to relax in, the room and bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was great. Also a plus to be able to use the kitchen to make teas and coffees and a sitting room to use if required.

Hikari-Okanagan Sunshine is a beautiful B&B. The room was lovely, and is walking distance to downtown Kelowna. Breakfast was delicious, and well balanced. Both hosts were delightful.

The room was quite small, about the size of an inexpensive Paris hotel room. The parking arrangement was very odd with my car wedged between a fence and very edge of the corner of the house.

I liked the location. The place was clean and comfortable. Owners were very friendly and accommodating.

The only thing I didn't like was we had our own bathroom but we had to go through the common area to access it. Also, it was pretty warm so we had to keep the windows open and traffic was quite loud. There was a ceiling fan but we could not figure out how to use it.

Great location walking distance to downtown Kelowna, but far enough away to be quiet. Breakfast was great too!

Cleanliness bed and bed linen

Hosts didn't want to interact with guests at all. Seemed surprised I rang the bell on arrival and did not see me again before I left. "Private bathroom" involved me entering public main floor space between my room and bathroom. My room faced noisy main highway, between property and lake beyond. Breakfast: delivered to table with no communication or choice (while I was waiting on nearby sofa). Another guest told me of its arrival. 13 minutes later host texted to say it had been served. No coffee or cup (or water glass) - so I had to find and make my own coffee.

The hosts are very warm, friendly and accommodating. They have carefully thought of and provided for the tiniest of comfort that you could think of. The breakfast has good variety and is enough to get your day started. They also gave us excellent recommendations for sightseeing, tours, and restaurants/bars.

I loved everything! The house is so well thought out with guest comfort in mind, it is beautiful and very well situated.

This was the perfect place to stay for my trip to Kelowna. The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful. The room itself was spotless, comfortable, private (I had my own bathroom), and cosy. Location is ideal as you just need to cross the street to get to the downtown area. I also enjoyed the hot tub and the breakfast was delicious!

A warm and welcoming host the property is in walking distance to downtown Kelowna. The physical setting was so nice and clean in a beautiful historical house. The house was well stocked for guests, the host goes above and beyond to ensure guests comfort. Breakfast was fresh delicious and beautifully plated!

It is quite close to a main road but it didn’t bother us. Nice place to stay.

L'emplacement est super, à deux pas du centre-ville, des restos et de la promenade sur le bord de l'eau mais tranquille. Les chambres, les salles de bain, et les lieux communs sont très propres, bien décorés, accueillants. La chambre est vraiment confortable, avec même un petit chocolat de bienvenue! J'ai adoré. Le lit est très confortable. Le petit-déjeuner est exceptionnel, Mitsuko et Norm vous apporte une assiette complète, gourmande et généreuse à l'heure que vous leur indiquez la veille, c'était délicieux! Merci. Pour ceux qui ont besoin d'un parking, il y a de la place sur le site.

Spacious and beautiful home with many comfortable common areas; owners are lovely and accommodating people. In a good location for Kelowna. Decent breakfast.

I generally enjoyed my stay, but there are a few things guests might want to know about: 1) Although air conditioning is listed as a feature, there is no air conditioning in the rooms themselves. While there is a portable air conditioner in the main (common) area, I'm not sure how effective this would be during really warm weather, especially if you wanted to keep the door to your room shut. This was not an issue during my stay as the weather was unseasonably cool for late June, but if the weather was warmer it would have been disappointing to not have in-room AC, especially because two of the bedrooms are on the top floor and presumably get warm. 2) You cannot lock your bedroom door from the outside - so when you are not in your room, there is no security for your valuables. 3) The room itself is fairly small, and the door to the ensuite bathroom is a barn door that leaves a bit of a gap between it and the wall. I stayed alone, but this is not ideal if you are staying with a partner.

A beautiful little B&B right down town Kelowna in the historic heritage corridor on Riverside/Abbott Street. Walking distance to lots of restaurants and shopping. Also walking distance to Kelowna General Hospital. The full breakfasts were excellent. Fresh, healthy and very filling. Furnishing so lovely. Spotlessly clean. Modern and vintage. Proprietors are just a lovely couple.

We would have liked to stay longer but picking a patient up from KGH. Wish we had a longer stay. We will be back for sure.

Amazing property, like a boutique design hotel

Lots of shared space outside the bedroom. Kitchen, living area, backyard, hot tub. Great decor and furnishings. Exceptional breakfast. Designated parking space outside the garage (good instructions with images). Friendly hostess. 5 mins drive to an area with lots of dining options.

Everything! The location, price, how well equipped rooms and common areas were, very kind hosts and very accommodating. We had our anniversary during our stay and were greeted with little touch of sweet snacks and a beautiful decorated room.

The location was perfect. We were so close to downtown Kelowna that we walked over to explore the city.

to start simple: 10/10!! we were warmly welcomed by the hosts when we arrived which was very nice. the shared house has 3 bedrooms, a kitchen and a living room and the cherry on top: a hot tub. so it’s really cozy and hospitable. everything was lovely decorated and clean, our room we stayed in was also comfortable. we could tell the hosts when we‘d like to have our breakfast and the next morning the food was thoughtfully arranged at the given time, so cute!! the location is also perfect, it’s near the city centre of kelowna by car, but therefore it‘s also a quiet neighbourhood, which we appreciated. all in all, I totally recommend staying here, we absolutely enjoyed our stay and I‘d 100% book again, when I revisit kelowna!! totally worth it!
