Cottage was very comfortable. Hosts are amazing - a fire greeted us every evening!

Great cottage and better than expected. The peat fire and welcome scone's with milk and juice were enjoyed. Will stay again if in the area.

Too far from westport

Every little detail was thoughtful, tasteful and high quality!

The warm friendly welcome. The scones and tea on our arrival! The fire lit which made it homely. Johnny, the owner, even drove us into Westport!

Hosts were so caring and accommodating. The fire was lit every day and supplied everything we needed. They were kind enough to show our toddler them feeding the cows. The interactions with them really made the stay excellent. I would recommend a stay in this cottage to anyone...you'll have an authentic experience.

It was a nice quiet & cozy cottage, host was great & the lit fire was brilliant.

It was a bit cold in the evening, I was fine but my Mum felt the cold.

Host was so kind and friendly, also dropped us to town. Cottage was lovely, clean and cozy. Will definitely stay again. 100% would recommend.

It was the most gorgeous property and such wonderful hosts. Made me feel so welcome and walked in to a lit fire and homemade scones, was perfect! I was meant to go out but stayed in as was too cosy to leave

We loved everything

We really enjoyed our stay at Kate’s Cottage. Johnny was very welcoming, greeting us with scones, milk, butter and a lovely fire. The house itself was cosy, clean and very comfortable. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

What a cozy and comfortable place to stay! The warm fire in the fireplace upon our arrival was much appreciated, as were the scones! Our hosts were very kind and helpful.

Caitríona and Johnny have done a wonderful job refurbishing the old family homeplace. A lovely turf fire welcomed us in on Friday evening and Caitríona had left fruit scones with butter and jam for some supper for us. There was milk and teas of all kinds available to us as well as everything you could need to cook. The place was spotless and really cosy. The welcome was so warm and friendly - they're the type of people you feel you know for years! We were going to a wedding in Westport and Johnny even offered us a lift home if we needed it. A real gem of a place with beautiful scenery. Highly recommended - 5 stars!
