Unglaublich toller Ort und eine sehr nette, hilfsbereite Gastgeberin, die auch noch eine ausgezeichnete Köchin ist. Der Ausblick ist unglaublich! Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis auch sehr gut. Auch das Zimmer ist sehr gemütlich.

Séjour incroyable de 2 nuits dans cette charmante maison un peu en dehors de Ella (10/15 min à pied) dans les hauteurs avec vue magnifique sur Little Adam’s Peak et Little Rock. On entend rien de la ville qui est très animé le soir. Ma chambre était super confortable, propre et bien équipé avec terrasse surplombant la vue. La dame qui tient cette guest house est vraiment accueillante, prépare des bons petits déjeuner et attentive au confort de ses hôtes. À recommander fortement !

Wunderschöne Energie und tolle Gastgeber

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse ist herrlich und es mangelt einem an nichts. sogar Handtücher wurden nach 2 Tagen gewechselt. Hervorragendes Frühstück und wir haben sogar einmal auch ein Abendessen angeboten bekommen. Zu Fuß ist man in 10 Minuten im Dorf. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

La vue incroyable sur la vallée depuis la balcon de la chambre, la visite des singes, la gentillesse et la serviabilité des hôtes .

Vue magnifique, petite maison en pleine nature , on peut apercevoir des singes tous les jours . Ruwan est extrêmement gentille et une très bonne cuisinière.

Quelques étagères pour ranger ses affaires seraient appréciable

Nette kamer met ruim balkon en mooi uitzicht op Ella Rock. Uitgebreid ontbijt, voor onze zoon met glutenintolerantie maakte de gastvrouw zelfs apart roti en pannenkoeken.

De route naar het centrum is met kinderen langs de drukke weg toch wel een eindje, daarvoor heb je wel een auto of tuktuk nodig.

Wunderschöner Ort mitten in der Natur und, abseits vom Trubel von Ella. Trotzdem ist Ella mit einem kurzen und schönen Spaziergang zu erreichen. Fantastischer Blick vom Balkon und viele lustige Äffchen. Das Frühstück und das Abendessen waren reichlich und wirklich sehr lecker! Die Gastgeberin ist unglaublich nett und hilfsbereit.

We loved the warm welcoming, the quiet environment. Beds were comfortable, hot shower available, and the view was astonishing. We enjoy every second of it.

Maybe to add more healthy options like granola to the breakfast, but this is just my personal opinion

La vue est magnifique et le cadre incroyable. Notre hôte a été à nos petits soins, adorable. Les petits déjeuners et le dîner étaient délicieux et très copieux. Le logement n’est qu’à 10 minutes à pied de Ella et proche de Little adam’s peak et du pont des neuf arches qui peuvent se faire à pied du logement. La visite des singes le matin très sympa.

Il manquait juste de quoi poser nos affaires sinon tout était parfait.

You had everything what you need

Dit is een heerlijke plek met een prachtig uitzicht vanaf het terras/balkon. Heerlijk van genoten op het schommelbankje. De gastvrouw is zeer vriendelijk en maakt het je heel graag naar de zin. Haar schoonbroer woont ernaast en zijn nummer krijg je zodat hij je overal heen kan brengen met de tuktuk. Je zit lekker buiten de drukke toeristische straat, maar bent er wel snel als je een restaurant bezoekt. Het bed ligt heerlijk en ook de douche is goed. Lekker uitgebreid ontbijt op je eigen terrasje. Kortom: ga hier heen.

Calme, reposant, confortable, belles vues. Bien placé ( à 10 min à pieds de la ville d’Ella), vous pouvez aussi accéder aux rails du chemin de fer depuis le logement. Nous avons fait presque toutes nos sorties à pieds. Excellent petit déjeuner et dîner ( que vous pouvez partager avec les singes).

- communication un peu difficile. - les derniers mètres pour arriver au logement sont difficiles d’accès en voiture.

Vistas impresionates, com una terraza espectacular, estuvimos muy bien durante la estanci, habitacion comodo con lo justo y necesario. Ademas te dan muy buen desayuno.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit im Mid Scenery Home Stay. Wir waren leider nur 2 Nächte dort. Das Zimmer ist einfach eingerichtet und hat alles, was man braucht. Die Terrasse ist toll mit sensationeller Aussicht. Man fühlt sich wie im Dschungel. Die Affen begrüßen dich am Morgen und sagen dir gute Nacht am Abend. Eresha ist die beste Köchin die wir in Sri Lanka hatten . Sie ist sooo freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sie hat ein tolles Frühstück gemacht und ein noch besseres Abendessen gezaubert. Vielen lieben Dank Eresha und wir wünschen dir und deiner Familie alles alles Gute!

Lodge mitten in der Natur, mit Sicht auf Regenwald und Wasserfall. Tolle Schaukel mit Sicht auf Umgebung, feines, vielfältiges Frühstück

Etwas ausserhalb, Ella mit Tuk Tuk erreichbar

Immersion en pleine nature dans un joli cabanon très propre , avec une vue splendide , à 15 mn à pied du centre ville . Accueil parfait , chambre très propre , eau chaude , petits déjeuners incroyables ( bons , variés et copieux ). Je recommande vraiment cet endroit en pleine jungle.

Ottimo soggiorno, penso il più confortevole che abbiamo avuto finora in Sri Lanka. Molto pulito, letti comodi, bellissima vista, colazione abbondante. Posso solo consigliare. È una piccola struttura con un unica stanza in una via leggermente fuori dal caos di Ella. C’è anche il servizio lavanderia

Schöne Aussicht und gemütliches aber sehr einfaches Zimmer, auch wenn es nicht so ausgesehen hat, wie auf den Fotos. Das Frühstück war super und die Gastgeberin sehr freundlich.

Die Lage war etwas abseits.

Bellissima stanza in mezzo alla giungla, ragazza super gentile e disponibile.

Une vue somptueuse sur la jungle, une des plus belles vue de Ella ! On s’est vraiment senti privilégié d’avoir cette petite cabane perché, rien que pour nous ! On vous le recommande à 100 %

The view. It’s a bit of a trek to get there but once you do the views of Little Adam’s Pesk from the terrace - where a generous breakfast is served - are spectacular

This is a homestay. It's basic but I thought it was perfect. My host Iresha was extremely gracious and lovely. The room overlooked a fabulous vista - down the mountain. You have to have a good appetite to finish the breakfast. Frankly I couldn't rate this place more. Go on a tea tour - I did the Halpe Plantation tour - I am no tea picker - no surprise there! The hike to Little Adams Peak is worth the trek - it's not little though!

Ella town was a little busy for me - I liked staying on the porch swing outside my bedroom.

Middle Scenary Home Stay is an absolute gem! The host was incredibly lovely and helpful, making our stay comfortable and memorable. The view from the balcony is breathtaking—you can see both Adam’s Peak and Ella Rock, which made every morning truly special. Staying here feels like being in a cozy treehouse, surrounded by nature and serenity. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique and peaceful getaway!

One thing to improve: there’s no air conditioning, which might be a consideration in warmer months

Tuktuks niet altijd beschikbaar

Piękny widok z pokoju, jest poprostu nieziemski:) Właścicielka bardzo pomocna, śniadania obfite i bardzo pyszne, omlety, kokosowe placuszki i inne. Obiekt kawałek od centrum ale w sumie to dobrze, w spokoju można odpocząć po zwiedzaniu. W okolicy małpki które swobodnie poruszają się po drzewach. Byliśmy dwie noce i bardzo chętnie zostalibyśmy dłużej.

Alles klopt. Super locatie. Mooi uitzicht.

Perfect location with the most beautiful view of Ella Rock and Little Adam’s Peak. At breakfast time I watched the monkeys playing in the jackfruit tree only a few metres from the balcony. Quiet, away from the noise of central Ella and the busy road. But only 15 mins walk away. At night time, the narrow road is very dark in places but I saw fireflies when walking back in the evening. Very generous breakfast and kind, helpful host.

Very comfortable, a short walk to Ella centre and the owner is very friendly and helpful! Amazing views from the outside area.

Ontbijt was erg lekker en verzorgd, de kamer zelf was ook heel netjes. Heel leuk terras met een magnifiek uitzicht.

Je geraakt zeer moeilijk met de wagen (Toyota Prius) tot aan de accommodatie. Een tuk tuk is sterk aanbevolen.

Really lovely spot. Waking up to the call of birds. Big yummy breakfast on the balcony looking out across the valley and seeing chipmunks in the trees. Cozy tree house vibes. Hot water shower. Friendly host. There wasn't a kettle but she bought us hot water when we asked. Good location, easy walk to food but nice and quiet. Would stay again.

Not an issue for us but was a steep but short set of stairs to go down.

Amazing view, with complete privacy as you are the only room in the homestay, completely separated from the main house. Surrounded by nature and it was really beautiful in the rain and in the sun. The breakfast was huge, fresh, and delicious and you could request it at whatever time served right in front of the room. The property is a bit tricky to find down a long driveway - if you’re being driven you can tell them the Arana Eco Lodge which is right next door and all the drivers know it. It was a 15min walk into town up a slight hill but that was super easy, otherwise there are always tuk tuk drivers on the driveway or where it connects to the main road, where you can get to the main town from 500LKR or less. You get an amazing view of the waterfall as you walk up to the accommodation but unfortunately you can’t quite see it from the room, but you can see a valley with lots of birds and other wildlife.

While we were there in monsoon season, there were thunderstorms every evening which meant there were intermittent power cuts (this is common all across Ella, in restaurants and everything, but you should be aware). It flicked on and off a lot, but it was never off too long - it didn’t really bother us. The wifi, as in a lot of places in Sri Lanka, was not great, but it was good enough if you’re not working. These things are common accross all cheaper accommodation in Ella, and we thought for the price it was worth the minor inconvenience

We stayed here two nights - fantastic view (when it wasn’t cloudy 😋), and the host was super friendly! The breakfast was delicious with all you can ask for, and later on she came with jackfruit. She also made sure we had umbrellas during the rains, well needed and welcomed! It took 10 min to go into town, perfect. During one evening there were a lot of monkeys invaded the neighbors house - lot of fun for us!

One of the cheapest and best accommodation I have ever been to. It really is as the pictures show if not better. Breakfast, beds, view, bathroom amazing. Location is good and they provide Tuktuk drivers that are available all the time within 5minutes. FYI monkeys like to steal the biscuits.

The view was amazing. The hosts were accommodating, even though I checked in a bit later than I mentioned. Totally recommend!

The Location is good enough but the owner is supper friendly and helpful. They run the home well and it is good to support them when you are in this area.

This is honestly the best place we stayed in Sri Lanka!! Very clean and tidy, amazing view from your privat cozy balcony, suuper comfy bed with the coziest blankets! Also super friendly and helpful hosts who organized us a scooter/tuktuk & made a great breakfast. Highly recommend this to everyone!

only downside is that the wifi was not really working even tho the router is in the room..
