Greg and Deirdre are wonderful hosts. Very welcoming and hospitable. B&B was a beautiful walk into town. Rooms were clean and spacious. The hot breakfast in the morning was really good.

Lovely hosts and property a short walk from town. Greg guided me on Corrib for two days and is very knowledgeable to put you over fish.

The cliche being home from home springs to mind immediately. The hosts were amazing, very attentive and their local knowledge was exceptional. The facilities were on point with so much to do. The house itself sits on a riverbank, very picture postcard settings. Greg the owner chatted with us about what was available locally and if we wanted to travel for sight seeing purposes. He was a fountain of knowledge indeed. The most warmest hosts you could meet. Very highly recommended, looking to make some beautiful memories. Thanks to Greg and Deirdre

Het ontbijt en de faciliteiten waren top.

Je had 3 dekens op bed wat het verwarrend maakte met omdraaien. Je had tevens alleen een prullenbak voor recycling maar niet voor overige dingen.

Deidre and Greg were wonderful hosts in this excellent B&B. It has a range of facilities, boats to hire for trips on Lough Corrib, and is a short walk in Oughterard. The breakfasts were exceptional.

Wonderful people, so welcoming and a fantastic property, every night fully booked and for a reason. Fantastic location for walking into the village but even close to Galway and Connemara. Would be quick to visit again, even excellent breakfast in the morning.

We had a wonderful stay at Camillaun Lodge. Deirdre and Gregg were wonderful, generous and friendly hosts who made us feel at home. Food was excellent, room was comfortable, and we had the opportunity to take an exceptional trip in one of their river boats to Inis an Ghall in Loch na Corribe. In addition, they allowed us to have our dog stay with us, which really made our trip possible. What a great experience!

The bed was made of 2 single beds, and the mattresses really should be replaced with one new king size mattress. These were quite uncomfortable.

A beautiful property and location and the hosts are very welcoming. A good breakfast before heading out for a day on the Lough. Will definitely try and get back here next year and would recommend without hesitation.

The place is super charming with a homely feel - inside as well in the garden/outside area. The location is very practical to discover the nature areas to the west. Greg and Deirdre are great hosts, we got a lot of helpful tips for discovering the area, and there were a lot of tasty breakfast options (even had gluten free bread). Cherry on top: Seamus the cat! If we ever come back to the same area, we will definitely try to stay here again.

I didn't find the bed that comfortable, but that's also very subjective.

Accueil chaleureux, dans un lodge arrangé avec goût au bord d'une rivière avec un joli jardin. La chambre est très confortable et spacieuse. Le petit déjeuner est magnifique.

We stayed with our family 3 adults and two teenagers plus very important part of family, dog- golden retriever. House was very welcome, quiet, comfortable with massive play room with pool, stove, board games, beautiful view. We also used jacuzzi which was incredible bonus. Outside is tennis court and basketball field. Breakfast was delicious with everything what you need plus home made honey. Hosts of the house are kind, welcome and very helpful. We would greatly recommend that place. We had great time!

Le chauffage était limite, nous avons eu un peu froid. Les vêtements de pluie mouillés ne séchaient pas.En revanche ce doit être un excellent endroit aux beaux jours. Cela ne nous a pas empêché d’apprécier notre séjour

Greg en Deirdre zijn super gastvij en behulpzaam. Greg vertelde van alles over de omgeving en had leuke tips over bezienswaardigheden waar je anders nooit was gekomen.

Greg and Deidre made the stay! We were made to feel very welcome and encouraged to treat their house as our home. Breakfast was great and we were recommended some great places to visit which we might not otherwise have found.

Such a lovely experience staying at Camillaun Lodge. The peace and quiet was wonderful and the accommodation was very comfortable. We slept blissfully!! Deidre and Greg were great hosts, always helpful, approachable and informative. Loved the short walk over the bridge ti the village and we had a lovely meal in Powers Thatched pub and great coffee in My Little Flower. And we’d also recommend Sullivans grocery store.

Would have loved if there had been Tea/Coffee facilities in our bedroom.. ( these were downstairs) and I love nothing more than grabbing a coffee 1st thing in the morning..*THIS IS NOT A COMPLAINT *

A beautiful home. The bed was very comfortable and the private bath was luxurious! The breakfasts were gourmet by my standards, and lots of it. The best part, however, were the engaging hosts who were unfailingly pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Deidre and Greg are wonderful hosts. Breakfast terrific. Love Shamus the cat. Beds and room very comfortable. Hot tub a plus this year and lovely room to hang out in to play snooker and other games. Short walk over lovely bridge to town. My favorite bandb.

Greg and Deidra are the best. So friendly and helpful. I don't have enough worlds to describe them.

The facilities are awesome! Our adult children played tennis, snooker and walk around the beautiful garden. Greg and Deidre are very welcoming. We took their advice to visit the places they suggested and we had fun. Oh..The breakfast is good, especially the pancake. :)

Everything! Deirdre and Greg are the most welcoming hosts. The room was clean, especially the bathroom which was newly renovated and had plenty of space, extra tables for the stuff. The bed was amazing! King size which we didn’t expect and fine mattresses. Breakfast was beyond delicious!!! Freshly cut mango, orange and fruit salad. Plenty of cereals, a big menu from which you could choose freshly made Irish breakfast choices. Awesome! We even got trip advices on our way to them. Very helpful!

Wonderful hosts! Delicious breakfast. Comfortable beds, clean rooms/bathrooms, great location. Walked to the pub in the evenings for great food/beer. Great advice and direction on attractions:things to do and see. We had a wonderful stay, and hope to be back some day. Thank you!

The accommodation has a lovely shortcut into the local village via a little bridge over the river. The surroundings are very picturesque, all in all we had a delightful stay.

We had a wonderful stay! Everything was well organised. Our hosts were very welcoming and we felt very much at home. The room was located on the ground floor with garden view. Breakfast was very well prepared. We got lots of tips on what to do in the area.

What a wonderful 3 nights in Oughterard. Gregory and Deirdre are amazing hosts. Deirdre generously loaned her golf trolley for my round at Oughterard Golf Course, which was just minutes away. The location is idyllic... along the river, with a trail (short cut) into town. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Enjoyed visiting with the other guests while we ate. Would love to come back during fishing season.

Breakfast choice was extensive, cooking was fabulous. Games room and extras were brilliant. Hosts were friendly and very knowledgeable about the whole area.

Beautiful home in lovely lush setting. All amenities provided by host and hostess who treated us like family, helped plan a fabulous day on the Lough, drove us to Galway when the Bus failed, and returned to the Hotel with an overlooked backpack left in her car. Total generosity of spirit…definitely Saintly behavior, Deirdre. 😇We were like the guests who couldn’t leave and we will be ever grateful to the ultimate “Good Shepherd “ by two very lost and trying “sheep.” I am sure we will not find such extreme TLC again!! Thank you so.

If I could I'd give 10 stars. Peaceful and quiet. Royal breakfasts. The owners will make you feel like someone special. Close to Connemara National Park, Clifden, Sky road, Kyllemore Abbey and Ashford Castle. You can take a boat on the lake and in the evening play billiards on the biggest table I've ever seen. In the town there are pubs, restaurants, coffee shops, Tesco and Centra.

The hospitality of the hosts and their inviting nature. There was a great variety of breakfasts to choose from. It was a great base to explore the region and located along a stream, within easy walking distance into town.

It was a bit tight in the room during our three night stay, with all of our stuff and a wedding to attend, but we had no problem and our solicitous hosts more than made up for that, and we really enjoyed it. I wish I had tried out the snooker table.

Delicious breakfast, starting with fresh fruits and raspberries from the garden, very special. Good choice of cooked breakfast and delicious. Very relaxing and welcoming to make a pot of tea when one got home from a day out and sit in the garden.

Amazing property, well kept with many activities around. We rented a motorised boat and took unforgettable trip to Inchagoill. Hot tub is also a must.

The stay & breakfast was amazing!! Homemade pancakes and the full Irish breakfast was both filling and delicious. Deirdre's cooking was nothing short of perfection. Greg provided a very friendly and attentive service. Together the couple created an amazing homely atmosphere that made the stay very enjoyable.

The location is very convenient - a pleasant, short walk to Oughterard, which is a lovely little town that's a good jumping off point for exploring Connemara and Galway. House has a fantastic snooker table too!
