Estuvimos como en casa, una familia encantadora. La habitación estaba muy bien y era espaciosa. El desayuno excelente.

La stanza era spaziosa e molto pulita. La signora Mary è stata gentilissima e sempre disponibile, così come suo marito, che prepara personalmente una colazione davvero davvero buona e fatta al momento. Inoltre la struttura si trova a soli 5 minuti a piedi dal centro, quindi è comodissima anche per chi vuole lasciare la macchina e spostarsi a piedi. Struttura consigliatissima, soprattutto per chi è diretto verso il Connemara e non vuole pernottare a Galway.

Sehr nettes B&B Frühstück liebevoll zubereitet. Ruhig gelegen.

Mary, la propriétaire est tout simplement fantastique. Elle est d’une gentillesse à couper le souffle, elle a toujours des bonnes petites histoires ou des recommandations pour la région. Elle est aux petits soins aux petits oignons pour ses Client, elle est drôle comme tout c’est vraiment une montagne de gentillesse. Sa chambre était très confortable, literie de bonne qualité. Tout était bien préparé, le petit déjeuner sensationnel. Et surtout pas de chambre qui donne sur la route, donc calme pour dormir Beaucoup d’oreillers, un bon matelas place de Parking, télévision des serviettes bien épaisse vraiment on peut absolument rien reprocher à cet établissement décorer avec soins dans le style irlandais champêtre Serait vraiment la meilleure adresse qu’on a trouvé durant notre périple en Irlande

Plutôt rien, tout était parfait. Par rapport aux établissements européens si vraiment il fallait trouver quelque chose à dire ça serait peut-être qu’il faudrait un petit réfrigérateur dans la chambre mais ça on a trouvé dans aucun Hotels et aucun bnb d’Irlande donc je pense que c’est le standard ici

Très bon emplacement pour commencer la visite de Connemara, belle maison, accueil très chaleureux. Chambre confortable et excellent petit-déjeuner. On peut aller au village à pied, très pratique pour boire une bière au Pub.

Liegt sehr zentral zum Erkunden vom Connemara und Galway. Cliffs of Moher sind ca. 1:50 h entfernt. Mary ist eine sehr herzliche und um ihre Gäste bemühte Gastgeberin. Das Frühstück was fantastisch und von Mary hat immer gute Tipps für Ausflüge. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit!

Weird one, but i hated the shower control. It was really weird, and the hot/control was reversed. But it didnt affect pur stay at all

M'ha encantat el tracte personal de la Mary. Ens hem sentit molt ben acollides, l'esmorzar boníssim i abundant. Els horaris d'entrada i sortida sense inconvenients. Una casa molt càlida i acollidora entre Galway i Clifden. Molt ben situada i silenciosa. Amb molt d'espai per aparcar. Hi hem estat amb la meva filla, germana i neboda. La Mary ha estat molt atenta en tot moment, inclús ens va aconsellar una ruta per Connemara que ens va encantar.

Per dir alguna cosa per millorar, només he trobat a faltar endolls USB a l'habitació.

Very pleasant owner

Could hear everything happening in the bathroom upstairs (not only the flushing!). Breakfast wasn’t great; the eggs might have been from powder, there was mold on some of the fruit suggesting it wasn’t fresh. The walk into town isn’t long but it’s along a very busy road.

Beautiful house, gardens, owners and breakfast! Comfortable bed, great shower, lovely room, close to town and the lake. Loved everything about our stay here.

Wszystko. Doskonała obsługa - pomocna nawet w sprawdzeniu późnej rezerwacji w pubie w miasteczku, bardzo elastyczne. Właścicielka jest wyjątkową osobą - naprawdę życzliwa i elastyczna, dbająca o gości. Pokój bardzo przyjemny. Lokalizacja super. Ogród dostępny też dla gości.

Listen, what a gem this B&B is! From the moment we arrived, we were wrapped in the kind of hospitality that makes you feel like you're staying with old friends, not just renting a room. We arrived via the CityLink bus, which conveniently dropped us off right outside the house. And in true small-town magic, another friendly passenger overheard us chatting with the driver and chimed in: “Oh, you’re heading to Gerry and Mary’s place?” I mean—how sweet is that? It instantly set the tone for the kind of close-knit, welcoming vibe this area offers. Mary greeted us at the door by name (a thoughtful touch that made us feel right at home), carried our bags up to our room, and let us know breakfast would be ready in the morning. The room itself was perfect for our trio—two comfy beds, a clean and spacious en-suite bathroom, and a quiet spot on the second floor that let us rest easy after a long day of travel. Later that evening, their polite and helpful grandson helped us arrange a taxi into town, where we had dinner at the Camp Street Café—a cozy, charming little spot with exactly the kind of comfort food every traveler dreams of stumbling into. Breakfast the next morning was a real treat. While we waited for our made-to-order selections (which were absolutely delicious), we were offered a variety of other tasty bites to tide us over. What truly impressed us, though, was how thoughtfully they accommodated my mother’s gluten intolerance. Mary had even made a quick run to the store the night before to pick up special gluten-free toast just for her. That kind of attentiveness is rare—and so appreciated. This place is more than just a bed and breakfast—it's a warm welcome, a friendly face, and a soft landing spot all rolled into one. Can’t recommend it enough!

We slept soundly after a full day of travel and exploring—so much so that we hardly noticed anything else! The only small hiccup was running a bit short on hot water during showers. Of course, that’s to be expected in a charming B&B that isn’t outfitted with industrial-sized water tanks. A kind reminder in the bathroom to be mindful of water use might be a helpful touch for future guests. Still, the overall experience was grand!

The B&B is absolutely stunning. Run by a lovely family at a beautiful and very convenient location. We arrived after a very long drive, took our rooms very quickly and after some freshen up we headed into town for some dinner. Breakfast was deliscious and plenty. Beautiful breakfast with lots of choice and fresh produce all made to order. Location was ideal for our visit to Oughterard Golf Club.

If you're looking for a B&B outside of busy Galway city, this is it! Mary was a fantastic host! She brought tea right to our room when we arrived, which was perfect after a long journey. Her breakfast was phenomenal with a wonderful view outside in the dining room. She was happy to answer any questions we had during our stay and an absolute delight to chat with. My missus and stepmother were with me, so we had plenty of space in our triple room and no complaints whatsoever. Oughterard is a great location. It was 20 or so minutes drive into Galway city, and you're also on the edge of Connemara. So you have the perfect balance of city and country access from this place. And the town itself, which you can walk into from the property, has all the essentials (petrol, corner shop, grocery, pub, etc.). We will definitely look this place up next time we're in Galway! Absolute class!

Mary and Gerry are wonderful hosts - Mary made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in the door. I had stayed there before with my family and was happy to make a return visit with friends. The location is perfect for exploring Connemara as well as for visiting Galway. The village of Oughterard is charming and within walking distance of the B&B if you wanted to leave the car behind for the night and go into town for dinner or a drink at the local pub, The Thatch. Mary is happy to make suggestions for trips around the area and her recommendations are always spot on!

Nothing - it was all good! I have stayed in many Irish b&bs (as well as ones in the US) and would rate this one as top notch.

This accommodation was excellent for our requirements. Everything from the location, the greeting, the room, the bed was high quality. No problems using this accommodation again and I will be recommending them to friends
